La guide Lia était traînement très **********, elle donnait beaucoup d’explications. Le trajet depuis Sandos caracol est d’une heure ce qui est raisonnable. Le bus est confortable et climatisé. Le Cenote est très beau dans le « village « Maya!

The trip was sold as a half day as we had plans at about 3pm on the day. The trip actually lasted from 8 am until nearly 4pm. So nearly 8 hours. This wasn’t helped by the fact that someone left a bag at the cenote, so the whole group had to go back even though we were on our way back to the hotel. The other issue was that the group we were added onto was French speaking. The guide spent 80% of the time speaking French and then gave us a very short summary in English each time.

Timing was perfect arriving at Tulum sight as first group on the day. Right amount of time for guided tour and then our own free time. Mayan village better than we expected and swim in Cenote was refreshing. The tour guide and driver were outstanding and made the experience all the more memorable. We were well looked after.

Enjoyed Tulem and the ruins. Guide was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of information and history. The visit to the Myan village and cenote was great, but did get bitten by insects.

Even though the trip didn't mention turtles we were very lucky to see a baby one in the cenote we swam in which made the trip even more memorable. The trip was half a day which suited us. The archaeological site well worth a visit, spectacular views.

Très mauvaise expérience. Guide très moyen. Village Maya sans aucun intérêt hormis la préparation de la tortillas. Long trajet en bus pour aller chercher dans 4 hôtels différents les participants. Personne ne nous avait prévenu que nous devrions faire 2 heures de transport supplémentaire pour aller chercher des personnes. Rapport qualité prix nul. C’est limite du vol par rapport à l’excursion que nous avons fait à Chitzen itza. Très très déçu. Arrivé à 15h30 sans avoir eu de vrai repas

De tour was een mix van duits en engels, de vraag aan de duitse gasten of ze engels ok vonden was ongepast, ze hadden betaald voor een duitstalige tour en moeten die dus krijgen. Het mengen van talen is geen goed idee want het splits de groep en vermindert de connectie met de reisbegeleider.

Coral var en fantastisk guide som berättade mycket historia om allt ikring Tulum. Jätteintressant under besöket på Mayabyn. Härligt bad i cenoten. Hon var så duktig på att berätta att man såg bilden framför sig och med glimten i ögat och humor på det. Rekommenderar verkligen!

Visite parfaite sur le côté organisation et guide mais cela reste extrêmement cher. Le prix des excursions globalement est exhorbitant. Si on l’a faite en passant par vous c’est juste pour le côté pratique car avec 2 enfants dont un de 4 ans cela est rassurant. Sans enfant je l’aurais faite par moi même pour 2 fois moins cher de façon certaine.

A really good trip. Tulum was beautiful with lots of shade. Alan tour guide was really knowledgeable and explained everything in English and French and gave us time to explore too. Cenote swim excellent. Mayan experience really interesting. Criticism:advice for future travellers. It’s sold as drinks and snacks included. Really it should say a drink and a snack,(we fortunately did take some snacks and a drink with us) it was more than a half day tour. 8 hours in total.

Der Guide konnte sehr viel erklären und erzählen, war sehr informativ. Tulum ist sehr interessant, relativ weitläufig. Im Bus gab es danach Snacks und schon zu Beginn wurde Wasser verteilt. Das Tortillabacken im Mayadorf war ganz interessant. Die Cenote ist wunderschön.

De gids was niet enthousiast, had weinig kennis en absoluut geen plezier in zijn werk. Bleef vooral zijn zonnebril ophouden. (een kater?). Hij was lollig maar daar was dan ook alles mee gezegd.Hij ging niet mee de cenote in in tegenstelling tot alle andere activiteiten waar altijd een gids mee het water in ging.De lunch was bedroevend. een broodje ter grootte van een kaasblokje, een koekje en een klein driehoekig dingetje met groenten in. Hij was liever lui dan moe. werkte geen minuut langer.

Quantité du snack un peu petite pour un tour qui dure une ********** partie de la journée à cause du ramassage des participants (départ avant 6h et retour à 16 h avec 2 biscuits très bons mais il faudrait le signaler) - Tour très intéressant avec la visite du site et une approche locale dans la petite communauté Maya fort sympathique. Même si c'est fort axé shopping, il n'y a pas de pression et ça fait vivre cette petite communauté.

Notre guide LUCA était parfait. Intéréssant et drôle. La visite globalement est très bien, complète. Mes enfants de 17 et 19 ans ont particulièrement apprécié de partager un moment avec la communauté Maya et se baigner dans cette magnifique CENOTE. Peu de monde donc très appréciable. Nous aurions aimé partager un peu plus et rester plus de temps avec les Mayas, le temps de partager un encas avec eux sur leur propriété plutôt qu'un snack dans le van. Cher mais réussi.

Karina was a fantastic tour guide, how kept a good pace and was entertaining and knowledgeable. She actively encouraged people to participate in the activities and swim in the ceynote and even though was providing a bi-lingual tour (Spanish and English) there was no sense of being rushed or missing out on any explanations. A great experience and would highly recommend.

Firstly it’s boiling hot and you can’t take water into the ruins only a flask. We were not told of this ahead of the tour so you are putting the very young and old at high risk for starters of dehydration. You also do not mention it’s a mostquito ********** hole. I’d have posted more carefully. Am covered head to toe in bites. You do not say to take a towel. Transport was basic. Cramped van. Had to stop as back wheel came loose. Tour guide walked at a too fast pace. Didn’t learn much.

Der Ausflug war ansich ok aber im Nachhinein zu teuer. Statt eines TUI Mitarbeiters kam ein Team von Blue Caribe. Durch Nachforschung habe ich rausgefunden das ich den Ausflug für 5 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder direkt bei Blue Caribe für 200€ weniger bekommen hätte. Das nenne ich Abzocke von Tui. Nur fürs Vermitteln des Ausfluges soviel mehr zu verlangen ist schon nahe an Verarsche am Kunden. Mich fragen immer wieder Freunde nach Tips. Von euch Rate ich ab. Die Tour war zudem 2sprachig was nervte.

Eigentlich ein tolles Erlebnis, leider passt das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis überhaupt nicht. Karina our guide was great, she was knowledgeable and spoke about it to make it interesting for those not fussed about history. Tulum was not the biggest of the 3 sites we visited but it was the most beautiful. The Mayan family were very welcoming and made us feel very much at ease. The cenote was absolutely beautiful this was our favourite of the 4 we saw. Definitely worth visiting.

Oliver great, fabulous knowledge. Unfortunately the pick up was 15 minutes late in the morning. Even though when we booked TUI knew one of us was gluten free, unfortunately no gluten free snack was provided, and the guide knew that one of us was gluten free. Very disappointing.

Wij hadden een Nederlandse gids gevraagd en krijgen Engels met een Vlaamse tolk kon echt niet wij met ons gezin van 6 pp betalen hiervoor veel geld en mijn zoon van 10 kon niks volgen totaal 9 Nederlanders incl onze vrienden 3 pp de Vlaamse gids vond het ook te snel gaan echt jammer een week expres van te voren geboekt worden er 2 Amerikaanse mensen bij ons erbij gezet en zij krijgen een Engelse gids terwijl wij met 9 Nederlandsers waren hoe dit op te lossen ??

OK, so this is a difficult one because the staff were good for a local based tour operator and I would give them 10/10 however we paid a lot of money for a TUI based excursion so we expected a English speaking tour speaking English 100% of the time and bring with English speaking customers as this is what we get with TUI and why we pay more money. What we received was not worth the money we paid. I will send a separate email

Ein schöner und gut organisierter Ausflug für die ganze Familie. Tulum ist einfach sehenswert und durch die Meerlage sehr malerisch. Es wurde auch sehr viel Geld investiert, um den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer zu machen. Dabei wären unter anderem die Elektrobusse zu erwähnen, die einen vom Eingang direkt zum Tempel und zurück bringen. Der Guide Edgar hatte ein enormes Wissen, welches er mit viel Witz und auf eine tolle Art vermittelt hat.

We thought the whole tour was excellent, it was well planned, it kept to schedule and there was an interesting mix of attractions. The guide Yolanda was very good, she was friendly as well as very knowledgeable about the Tulum ruins and the Mayan culture. Our driver was Paco was very helpful and friendly. As an added bonus the swim in the cenotes was a wonderful experience. We would thoroughly recommend this tour.

La guide était très interessante et agréable. Le site de Tulum se fait plutôt rapidement mais dans un beau cadre. Les boutiques de tulum sont très chères comme un peu partout dans la région. La cenote et la réalisation de tortilla apporte une visite plus authentique dans un cadre naturel. Le prix est un peu cher en comparant avec d’autres excursionnistes sur place d’où la note de 8. Nous avons pu nous inscrire la veille sur place, c’était pratique.

We were NOT told we needed to take towels, only swimwear, so we weren't able to swim in the cenote. Also thought it was quite expensive at nearly £200 for 2 people for half a day. Best part was our guide Coral who was so interesting and informative. A lovely lady

Gute organisiert. Guide konnte mehrere Sprachen,inklusive deutsch holländisch engl. spanisch. Und etwas Maya. Collin war top. Der Transferbus war etwas alt. Aber solange die Klimaanlage geht ist alles gut. Tulum bietet etwas mehr Schatten, aber das Areal ist kleiner doch dafür sehenswert. Auch die Cenote und das Maya Dorf sind einen Besuch wert. Besonders mit diesem guide. War ein schöner halber Tag und hat Spaß gemacht.Danke Collin

Det skulle ta 1 timme att ta sig till Tulum. Det tog 2,5 timmar efter två u-svängar på motorvägen och en lång väg tillbaka samma håll som vi kom ifrån för att hämta upp folk. Dessutom fick han snurra runt för att hitta ett av hotellen. Guiden Edgar var trevlig och bra. Vi kom hem två timmar senare än utlovat. Trevligt med totillabak och cenote.

Tulumiin ei saa viedä muovipulloissa vettä ja olisi todella tärkeää infota asiakkaita tästä jotta asiaan voi varautua. Myös kulkeminen rattailla on haastavaa joten haastavaa pienten lasten kanssa kulkea portaikoissa. Cenote oli ok mutta ei mitenkään erityinen, kiva kokemus mutta jää viimeiseksi.

Rep sold this trip to us as opposed to our enquiry about using public transport to Tulum. We stressed that we just wanted to be out for morning & she assured us it was 4 hour trip. Rep said we were last pick up at 8.25 and then 40mins to Ruins in fact we were 1st pick up & then last drop With another 3 hotels to collect from therefore transfer times were over 3 hours. Very poor value for $220 and timings not as sold. Actual trip just ok.

Our guide (Oliver) was excellent, far superior to other guides I overheard with other groups. Getting to the ruins early is essential as it starts to get really busy after 11 so the 0800 pick up is perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole tour and the 4hr length was about spot on, any longer would be too long especially as the temperature was really climbing.

Le site de Tulum est magnifique, notre guide très sympathique. J'aurai apprécié un peu plus d'informations sur la civilisation maya, mais c'était très bien malgré tout ! Le retour à l'hôtel a été tardif pour une 1/2 journée (15h), peut-être aurait-il été mieux de la proposer en journée, en incluant le repas et un retour en fin d'après-midi.

This trip was great fun, we saw the Mayan ruins at Tulum and learned about the culture. We learned how to make tortillas, then cooked and ate them! We had a swim in the cenote pool. A fun half day out all round!

Our guide Ana was great, very funny and informative. The Tulum ruins are cool, but do apply sunscreen and mosquito repellent before you go in as you cannot take it with you!! Also bring water in a reusable bottle as you can't take in single use plastic. Mayan community was nice too, the cenote is very cool, would have been nice to spend a little more time there. Idk about value for money, this is a very expensive trip for what it is, lunch would be a cool addition as you only get snacks.

Hôtel parfait dans un décors incroyable Tou est parfait : le personnel dans tout son ensemble est très agréable et à l'écoute L'équipe d'animation française au top. Juste un petit bémol sur la sortie à Akumal pour les tortues, il serait peut-être plus judicieux de proposer Kozumel à la place car la visibilité de l'eau n'est vraiment pas la même pour voir les tortues raies et étoiles de mer

Karina hat super durchgeführt. Es war besser als gedacht. Wir wussten nicht, dass man auch Tortillas zubereitet. Es war ein super Ausflug aber die Zeit in der Cenote war zu kurz. Zudem sind 120€ für 6 h zu viel. Trotzdem würde ich es wieder machen und weiterempfehlen

Retki oli mielenkiintoinen. Aikaa olisi saanut olla enemmän käytettäväksi Tulumin alueella, nyt jäi kiireen tuntu. Opas oli hyvä mutta suomenkielinen audioguide tms olisi helpotus ja toisi enemmän sisältöä retkeen englantia vähemmän taitavalle.

Guide och chaufför var väldigt bra. Guiden kunde verkligen vad han pratade om och kunde svaren på alla våra frågor. Minibussen var ok men AC var så galet kall att alla satt och frös vad jag kunde se. Bra info innan vi anlände med vad vi skulle förvänta oss. Bra ankomsttid till ruinerna. Vi hade verkligen velat haft mer egentid! en timme inkl se klart ruinerna, ta sig tillbaka, gå på toaletten, få något att äta OCH shoppa lite.... så galet stressigt att det inte var roligt. Cenoten enbart ok.

The staff was average. The snacks looked unhygienic. Opened pizza and cakes. No thanks! The best part of the tour was the cenote swim and Maya community visit. The Tulum archaeology was far too long and boring. Should have just been there 1hr maximum. Was expensive for what we got.

Uitstap was in kleine groep. Tulum was ok, maar niet echt helemaal onder de indruk, het waren vooral lange afstanden wandelen. Bezoek aan het Maya dorp en zwemmen in de Cenote was geweldig.

A brilliant tour, would highly recommend it. Our guide was Victor, he was excellent and so knowledgeable. Loved the visit to the Mayan village, and making the Tortillas., and trying the Tequila. We bought a cool beer at the little bar, it was most enjoyable. Enjoyed the swimming to cool off.

Nous avion payé pour avoir une excursion en français et nous avons eu une excursion en français et italien. Nous étions 10 français et 6 italiens, la majeur partie du temps il y a eu plus d'explications en italien qu'en anglais. Nous avons pas eu le temps de manger notre collation tranquillement comme c'était prévu en raison de retardataires.... il faut quand même savoir que nous n'avions pas pris de PDJ en raison de l'heure du départ, départ avant l'ouverture du service PDJ.

Ik vind 99 dollar op zich veel geld voor een halve dag tour en het was spijtig dat die niet in het Nederlands was maar ik wist op voorhand dat als er niet genoeg Nederlandstaligen ingeschreven waren het in het Engels zou zijn. De Driver deed zijn werk goed, je zag dat hij ervaren is. En de gids Tay doet dat super goed !! Heel veel uitleg over de gebouwen; de cultuur, de omgeving... Hij weet echt heel veel en brengt het enthousiast over wat het luisteren aangenaam maakt !!! T was de moeite waard

Trip was expensive, but Tulum ruins and surrounding area and views were fantastic, I couldn’t have visited the area without spending time to visit the ruins. Our guide was full of energy and passionate about the Mayan culture. You need to take your water in a reusable bottle as throw away bottles are not permitted on site, also take an umbrella for the sun. The senote and Mayan village were rustic, so take water shoes to walk down to the water.

Tour was awesome, very informative, place was naturally beautiful. The snacks can use an upgrade. Didn’t like that it wasn’t individually wrapped and napkins weren’t provided. Was in a huge bin and everyone just dipped in with bare dirty hands.

Die Abholung erfolgte absolut pünktlich, was für uns Deutsche sehr beruhigend war. Unsere Leiterin Karina hat sehr viel über die Maya-Schriften und die Sprache erzählt und konnte deutlich vermitteln, wo die Schwächen der Maya-Forschung liegen. Karinas unbeschwerte Art Informationen zu geben, hat uns in der Maya-Gemeinde ein sehr willkommenes Gefühl vermitteln. Wir haben den Halbtagesausflug sehr genossen.

Trip was advertised as 12+ (Adults) there was three children on our mini bus a crying child and two other children aged approximately 3 and 4. So clearly not a good journey / trip for us. Tui did not keep to its own agreed age group.

I was up the vert back seat of the mini bus which meant I could not see out the windows due to the seats being too high up so a lot of the journey there and back I couldn't appreciate the local views travelling to and from Tulum and the village.

Da ich Herzkrank bin ,konnte ich im Nationalpark nicht immer Schritt mit den anderen jungen Leuten halten Auch die vielen Treppen waren sehr beschwerlich für mich, wurde davon nicht informiert ,vor det Buchung Karina half mir jedoch jederzeit Am besten gefiel mir das Baden in der Grotte

Snacks were poor not the same standard as the breakfast box for the Chichen Itza tour. Would have preferred to swim with the turtles, but the TUI Rep said that's only possible on calm weather days yet it was actually a lovely day at Tulum. Guide was really good but had to repeated everything in many languages. I only went to Mexico to see the ancient sites, so an English only guide with a blue tooth headset (as per the much more well organised tour to Chichen Itza) would have been appreciated.

Our guide Lia was very informative and made the trip very enjoyable. Jess was a great driver. It was good to arrive at Tulum early when it was less busy. The Mayan village was interesting and the fact we got to make our own tortillas made it very memorable. The cenote was amazing, clear blue waters. Lia let us borrow goggles to be able to see under the water and the life jackets were useful for those who weren't confident in the water.

This was a terrific tour. Very well organised and a very professional guide on Jolanda. This was a perfect tour for those not wanting a whole away day in the heat but still receive a worth while experience Tulum was great for the historic element and the Mayan village was equally impressive from a learning point of view. The Cenote swim is just the best Snacks and drinks provided were just right. Also good merchandising at both sites. Do this half day missing heat and crowds

The Tulum ruins itself was nice. The tour guide gave a nice history of the structures which were very educative. I didn't like the transportation, cost of excursion was to high compared to others that covered multiple places and buffet lunch included.

Tulum was beautiful, although very hot, the sea breeze helped. Guide Danny was informative, and did not rush us through the different part of the trip. Cenote swim was lovely as was meeting the myan community. Throughly enjoyed the experience.

Nous avons perdu deux le temps d’aller chercher tout les autres participants et une fois sur le site ont nous a fait comprendre qu’il fallait se dépêcher. Une heure de visite pour un grand site au pas de charge et 10 mn de temps libre. Une mini pizza en guise de petits déjeuner/ déjeuner et départ los dos ojos. Rythme plus agréable, visite du village avec démonstration de la part de femmes mayas vraiment génial ! Baignade dans le cenote superbe ?? Retour et hop demie journée finie…

Die Ruinenstadt begeistert besonders durch ihre Lage am Meer. Da sind einige sehr gute Urlaubsbilder möglich. Achtung es wird heiß, genug Wasser im eigenen Mehrwegbehälter ist ein Muss. Auf den Besuch im „Maya-Dorf“ muss man sich einlassen, wirkt ein wenig wie für Touris gemacht. Cenoten gibt es meiner Meining nach bessere aber trotzdem ganz gut. Der Trip ist durch den Guide sehr gut organisiert, typisch TUI halt. Als Halbtages-Ausflug sehr zu empfehlen.

They didn't inform us before going that we couldn't take plastic bottles of water into Tulum, the water they gave us was warm and they offered us pizza and cake at 9.30 in the morning as a snack it was 31 degrees and way to hot for warm pizza and dry cake. but other than that the trip was really good the guide stevie had lots of knowledge and told us so much information about Tulum. He explained what was happening throughout the day. the tortilla making was good fun the senote was but need more

Tulum leider kein Einlass mit Getränkeplastikflaschen. Schirme zum Schutz könnten von TUI gestellt werden, da es extrem heiß ist. Reisebus hatte leider keine gute Klimaanlage. Ansonsten gerne wieder

Unser Guide Augustino war super! Wir waren eine kleine Gruppe von 10 Personen und hatten die Führung in deutsch. In Tulum waren keine Plastikflaschen erlaubt, dies wussten wir nicht und uns wurde dies auch nicht mitgeteilt ( stand auch nicht in den Hinweisen in der App) hätten wir das gewusst hätten wir unsere wiederbefüllbaren Trinkflaschen mitgenommen. 2 std in Tulum bei der Hitze ohne trinken war schon anstrengend. Aber alles in allem ein sehr schöner Ausflug. Auch die Cenote war super!

The area was cordoned off in so many places that you couldn't really get that close to the ruins. The cenote, the Mayan village and the ruins were beautiful though. The downside was the horrible tourist site outside of the wall, such an eyesore in a beautiful location.

The tour guide (Karina) was fantastic. Her knowledge and personality shone through and she made everyone feel like an important part of her group. The TUI representative did not tell us a couple of important details: 1. Refillable bottles were preferable as single use bottles weee not allowed on the archaeological site. 2. NOT all cameras were subject to local tax - phone cameras were exempt, just GOPRO & DSLR cameras were taxable.

We drove around hotels for over an hour picking up other customers. This could be better organised so hotels are en route. Otherwise the trip was well organised with Steve who is an excellent and very informative guide. He ensured that everyone was included and understood the information that he provided. The driver Manuel was also very helpful and friendly.

The trip we were put on was for French speaking, despite us being English and booked through the Rep. The guide did really well to cope, but feel that this impacted on the trip overall, as he had to repeat everything, so was probably less detailed than it should've been.

Katrina macht einen super Job. Tulum ist absolut sehenswert - auch bei Regen. Die Mayagemeinschaft zu sehen ist interessant. Die Cenote lohnt sich nicht, weil sie sehr klein ist. Der Ausflug ist trotzdem empfehlenswert.
