Es war ein sehr gelungener Ausflug. Wir hatten das große Programm gebucht und hatten sehr viel Abwechslung. Auch an das leibliche Wohl wurde gedacht, es gab reichlich Essen und trinken. Pong war unser Begleiter und er hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Einen Punkt Abzug würden wir tatsächlich den Fotografen geben. Er war leider sehr oft woanders anstatt Fotos zu machen. Leider haben wir auch bis heute nicht den Link für die Fotos erhalten. Aber wir würden es definitiv weiter empfehlen.

Dieser Ausflug hat uns absolut überzeugt. Wir hatten schon einige Ausflüge zu solchen Camps aber dieses hier war mit Abstand am vertretbarsten! Diese Dickhäuter sind Teil der Familie und bewegen sich recht frei in dem Gelände. Der Ausflug war auch für die Kids ein Erlebnis, neben Papier herstellen und Vitaminbomben für die Elefanten stampfen, durften sie mit den Tieren durch den Dschungel laufen, ihnen beim Spielen zuschauen und sie danach abduschen. Zum Schluss durften sie Pad Thai kochen.

Très cher pour ceux que c'est, on nous vent du rêve, de l'espace et des éléphants libres. Non ! Une mini mare pour juste nous montrer , un circuit dans la jungle qui en fait tu monte des escaliers+30 pas + descente des escaliers. Et bien évidemment zéro français, débrouille toi!!! Allez voir plutôt un vrai sanctuaire

Vi havde en virkelig god oplevelse og fik et godt indblik i de pensioneret elefanters tilværelse i lejren. Skønt personale. Synes umiddelbart at prisen var dyr, da vi ikke vidste om vi fik 2 eller 4 timer. Måske der er forskel på morgen og eftermiddags turen, det ved vi ikke, men vi fik 4 timer på eftermiddagsturen og er derfor godt tilfredse med det vi fik for pengene

Great experience we did the same tour last year. Once in your life you have to do this the elephants are loving and you will never forget the experience. You have videos. And food and you cook your own lunch. Great morning out.

Absolut tolles Erlebnis im Phuket Elephant Conservation! 🐘 Das Team war super freundlich und hat sich klasse um uns gekümmert. Die Elefanten wirken gesund, entspannt und werden sehr gut behandelt – alles ethisch top. Wir konnten sie füttern, streicheln, putzen, draußen abduschen und sogar mit ihnen spazieren gehen. Essen & Getränke waren inklusive. Gebucht über TUI, lief reibungslos. Am Ende gab es noch einen süßen Plüsch-Elefanten. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Unser Guide ist ganz toll auf die Kinder eingegangen. Das Programm war wirklich abwechslungsreich. Nur hätte ich mir einen längeren Spaziergang mit den Elefanten vorgestellt, was aber vermutlich aus Sicherheitsgründen schwierig ist. Das Futter zubereiten und zu verfüttern hat uns am meisten Spaß gemacht. Genauso die Waschstrasse für die Elefanten, bei der niemand trocken blieb. Der kleine Kochkurs war sehr witzig und das Essen danach auch sehr, sehr lecker.

Really great excursion !! Great staff . Elephants were wonderful, so much more than in the description… fed them , cleaned them, went for a walk with them, made paper using their poo ! (Sadly was never given mine) , cooking class and lovely Thai food . Plenty of refreshments. Lockers to Use . And good air conditioning in the transfers . Elephants really well looked after too . Die Abholung vom Hotel war pünktlich und vor Ort wurden wir vom deutsch sprechenden Guite in Empfang genommen. Super ausführliche Informationen über die Elefanten und deren Herkunft. Der Rundgang durch das gesamte Gelände war gut und die Fütterung der Elefanten war recht interessant für jedermann. Es wurde alles von den Helfern vorbereitet und beim Duschen der Elefanten konnten wir mithelfen. Abschließend gab es ein Buffet. Wir können den Ausflug weiter empfehlen. Preis Leistung dafür ok.

Jeg synes hele oplevelsen var helt vild god. Vi blev hentet tidlig morgen af en transfer som TUI havde sørget for. Vi blev hele tiden informeret om hvad vi skulle og ikke skulle. Både af personalet på elefant turen og af guiden inden turen. Det var et dejligt sted for elefanter da man tydeligt kunne se de blev passet rigtig godt på og hele omdrejningspunktet var deres ve og vel. Det handlede ikke om at elefanterne skulle underholde os, hvilket var vigtigt for os at vide. Mega god tur!

We absolutely loved this experience , we enjoyed the information given about the elephants first after a welcome drink , then getting very up close and personal with the elephants , I was in awe of everything offered and we had a lovely lunch there and a Thai cooking class , nothing was too much trouble and we also got a free framed picture , we would definitely recommend this trip to anyone and there wasn’t anything we didn’t like , staff so friendly

Ein Ausflug war super! Die Tiere scheinen glücklich und gepflegt zu sein. Unser Guide war toll. Er war sehr nett und hat viel erzählt. Essen war sehr gut und das selber kochen war lustig und interessant. Zur Begrüßung haben wir gleich etwas zum trinken bekommen und wurden freundlich empfangen. Am Schluss mussten wir zusammen warten, dass mehrere mit den Taxi fahren, doch das ist verständlich und in dieser Zeit konnten wir etwas im Shop einkaufen und uns mit unseren Guide unterhalten.

Excellent trip the guide Melly was very informative and added humour to the tour, the elephants are generally there for rehab from employed service and it was interesting to learn how they are protected and monitored in the domestic setting and in the wild. The entire trip allowed for plenty of interaction with the elephants and unlike other trips you get the days photos for free, a framed photo and a small souvenir, well worth it, highly recommended.

The elephant sanctuary staff were excellent, very knowledgable. Lots of interaction with the elephants including feeding, washing, walking with them. The extra bonus being a Phad Thai cooking lesson. The lunch was very nice. Transport was efficient and it wasn’t a long time in the taxi/bus. Overall a very good half day trip.

I had a lovely day with the elephants. It was very informative and had a few extra activities to add to the day . The time spent with the elephants was not rushed at all and thoroughly enjoyable. The only down side I felt the talk at the beginning was pretty lengthy and could have been slightly shorter. The guides were lovely with lots of information.

Respect voor de verzorgers en de begeleiders van de olifanten. Je wordt zelf goed begeleid hoe je de olifanten mag benaderen. Kleine groepjes. Vanaf het moment dat we in de taxi stapte tot terugkomst bij het hotel, het was in een woord: geweldig!

This was just a great experience and one of the highlights of our entire holiday. Being allowed up so close to the elephants is very special. I cannot recommend this excursion enough. I was happy to sit out on making pictures with elephant dung (which of course was not compulsory to participate) but the rest of the excursion was excellent.

God fornemmelse med dyrerne, de så ud til at have det godt. Man fik en god forklaring på hvorfor stedet findes og hvilke opgaver og problematikker de har. Our host Melly was brilliant, she was very knowledgeable and clearly loves all the elephants, as do all the staff. The interaction with the elephants was an amazing experience, one which I will never forget. The pad thai cooking lesson was a hit and very successful. All the food was great and drinks are free. The only downside was that they filled the bus to maximum capacity for the way home, so various drop offs, which meant the journey home was 2 hours rather than the 1 hour trip there.

En turist blev sparkad av en elefant men hann med nöd och näppe undan från att få benet avsparkat. Personalen reagerade inte nämnvärt utan plåstrade om kvinnan. Det är ändå mycket stora djur och turisterna fick ovana gå alldeles inpå elefanterna. Bortsett från detta var det intressant och hukades mycket kunnig

Amazing experience encountering elephants during their daily routine of feeding, mud bathing and walk. Got to see where they lived and how well they are cared for. Pick up each end was seamless and on time. My only negative would be the amount of time drivers spend interacting with their phone.

Fantastisk och mycket lärorik upplevelse som uppskattades av hela familjen. Att få vara nära elefanterna, mata dem, bada tillsammans och bara umgås var oerhört mysigt. Guiderna var kunniga och engagerade, och man märkte tydligt att elefanternas välmående stod i fokus. Rekommenderas varmt! Det som drar ner betyget är transporttiden – vi fick info om ca 45 min resa men det tog nästan 2 timmar enkel väg.

Fantastiske folk med god omtanke for dyrene. Utrolig flinke til å formidle, samt se oss gjester. Vi hadde med oss tre barn (tvillinger 8år og jente 10år), og de syntes dette var det kjekkeste vi har gjort i hele ferien. Ungene måtte lære å lage Pad Thai på slutten av dagen. Terningkast 6!

Nous avons apprécié préparer la cuisine, malgré que nous ayons été les seuls francophones dans un groupe à majorité anglaise. Le repas offert était varié et très bon. Évidemment l'activité principale avec les éléphants était ludique et instructive. Les deux dames qui nous ont accompagnés pendant la visite étaient très sympathiques. Petit regret ,c'est que tout cela s'est déroulé en anglais. OK pour moi mais, mon épouse ne maîtrise pas du tout. La présentation en français sur écran nous a aidé.

Love the time with the majestic Elephants. The guide at the Sanctuary was amazing and very knowledgeable. It us a shame you have stopped clients from bathing and give the Elephants a mud spa we missed this part very much. We did not have. TUI guide in our mini bus just a taxi driver who did not speak. We were in the taxi for 1 hour plus with no knowledge of our surroundings. Not acceptable ~ the same in the return journey. For this I will give a much lower score.

It was a good amount of time. The staff were fantastic and we learnt loads. There were loads of opportunities to get up close with the elephants in a safe environment and they were well looked after which was important to us. The paper making was fun and food was excellent. We also enjoyed the pad Thai making session. Really would recommend this experience.

The experience was amazing, we saw the love and the carrying of the keepers and the staff for the wonderful animals. The experience was fantastic from arrival to departure, we were really well looked after with varied, thoughtfully planned elephant activities. Lunch was great and fun cooking pad Thai together. All photos were sent to us free of charge, staff helped take extra shots on our phones. framed prints were very reasonably priced. The small thank-you gift at the end was a lovely touch. My only suggestion would be to offer a private transfer option, as being first pick-up and last drop added +45mins

Great way to get up close with Asian elephants, too learn about them, feed them and wash them whilst the elephants were being carefully being monitored by their keepers to ensure they were not under any stress. Great trip.

This is a great place for all but not for disabled as a lot of steps and uneven ground the staff are very friendly and helpful they are very knowledgeable of the elephants a lot of hands on with the elephants ?? we even washed them the food was great and they showed us how to make a padi thia overall this is a great day out highly recommended

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen .Die Pfleger passen jederzeit auf. Es war auch lustig beim Füttern der Elefanten. Beim waschen der Elefanten sind wir etwas nass geworden, aber hat viel Spaß gemacht. Nur zu empfehlen. Danke

The transfer failed to show and pick up for the tour. It was a morning tour so had to rise early for a very early breakfast and then sat in the hotel reception for an hour and a half waiting for a transfer that never arrived, unable to contact the rep due to the early start. It was rescheduled for same afternoon but day was spoiled. The staff at the elephant sanctuary were excellent though and no blame attached there obviously.

I enjoyed being able to feed and clean the elephants, it wasn't at all rushed, a really good experience. I also loved the cooking class, not so keen on the poopoo paper making. It was much longer than expected six and a half hours not the expected 2-4 hours, not a problem for me, but maybe for other people

Organisation, guides, Essen, alles prima. Das Nachhaltigkeitskonzept bzgl der Elefantenhaltung unter Berücksichtigung des Tierwohls fand ich sehr überzeugend. Das Essen machen und füttern der Elefanten sowie das Abschrubben nach dem Schlammbad: auch für die kids voll schön inclusive der Fotos. Man lernt auch gut die do‘s and don‘ts. 100 Punkte !

The experience was the best I ever made. The activities are interesting and funny, the guide Melly is fantastic: I appreciated very much the way she tells about elephant life and how she involves the partecipants. Leuk of eigenlijk niet meer dan normaal is dat de olifanten netjes en met liefde worden verzorgd. Daarnaast zijn de verzorgers er dag en nacht mee bezig om de olifanten te verzorgen. Minder leuk dat de dag dat wij er waren het regende.

Overall from time of booking, pickup, experience, lunch, drop off, 100% The staff from booking, driver, Sanctuary staff excellent and all passionate about their jobs, service and delivery. Off course my shopping in the Sanctuary shop, well made my day and of course the staff, lol. Knowing some of the sakes goes directly to help Sanctuary is a plus. The stars though are the elephants and their handlers. The bond they have and the love they have shows out. 10 out of 10

Natürlich bekommt man die Tour auch über eine bestimmte App billiger,jedoch ist man bei TUI auf der sicheren Seite. Im großen und ganzen war es super. The whole experience was wonderful. We learned so much about elephaants & their behavuor by attending tgis program. The van driver to the program was excellent. He did a great job driving us there & back. The up close time was amazing, especially being able to touxh the animals & make rheir food & feed them. Making the elephant dung papef was fun. The lunch was ezcellent. The cook8ng experience was fun. The staff àupplied umbrellas during a rain shower. No time to uase gift shop. Nice gift.

Staff were very informative and answered all our questions and v didn't push us to do anything we didn't want to. Absolutely amazing experience. All the staff and Elephant owners were amazing. Good to see the locals joining together to take care of and protect these beautiful creatures. The Elephants were beautiful so gentle and loved the bath at the end. I recommend everyone to visit and educate themselves about these beautiful creatures and support the Elephant Hospital that helps to keep them safe and healthy. Sehr informativer Ausflug, gepflegte hübsch angele Anlage. Wir waren eine 4er Gruppe, für uns damit sehr individuell. Sehr leckeres Essen wurde uns zum Schluss angeboten. Ich dachte, dass wir unseren zum Schluß stattgefundenen PadThai Kochkurs genießen. Das Essen wurde verpackt zum mitnehmen.

Lite för lång information om elefanterna. Det var svårt att förstå då hon pratade för fort och att engelskan inte var så bra. Trodde oxå att man skulle gå runt lite mera bland flera elefanter, skogen. Det var roligt att man fick mata elefanterna och hälsa på dem. Lite för dyr upplevelse.

Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and thought it was good value for money. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you and were very passionate about the sanctuary and hospital. This was a really great trip, the sanctuary is beautiful and the elephants are really well taken care of. Our guide was lovely and very knowledgable, we felt like we learnt a lot. Getting to make paper from recycled elephant dung and learning to make a pad thai were great bonus activities. We really enjoyed our day!

It was a little confusing at the start, we thought lunch was being provided, but we were actually fed at 4.00pm. Would have been helpful to have known in advance that it was going to be at this time, so we could have taken something with us. Also the taxi driver was concerning, he drove very slowly and was constantly taking pictures on his mobile of the road ahead, and sending text messages, I had to ask him to stop and concentrate on the road.

In meerdere talen uitleg over de olifanten. Er was een groep Duits sprekende en die kregen een Duits sprekende gids. De andere groep een Engels sprekende gids. Het terrein is schoon en het wordt netjes bijgehouden. Olifanten van dichtbij gezien en het leukst is het moment dat je de olifanten trakteert en (suikerriet en banaan) mag voeren.

Das Programm war eine richtige Herzensangelegenheit. Es war toll für die Elefanten Essen zubereiten und die Tiere waschen zu dürfen. Dazu wurde viel zu der Arbeit und der Organisation erklärt und der Guide war auch sehr gut verständlich. Dazu gab es mittags ein sehr gutes Buffet und kostenlose Getränke standen die ganze Zeit zur Verfügung. Die Elefanten waren einfach süß und es war spannend zu sehen, dass jedes Tier seinen eigenen Charakter hat.

Had a wonderful time at Phuket Elephant Conservation. The guide for the day was friendly and very knowledgeable. They made us welcome and the staff cooked us a lovely meal. The stars of the day were the elephants, we were able to feed and give them a shower and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with them. Unfortunately we were told by the TUI rep that it was near us and would be approximately 45 minutes in minibus which suited us but in fact it took over an hour and 40 minutes each way.

Hele leuke workshop/rondleiding maar nooit meer via de hostess boeken van tui. Dit was namelijk veel duurder dan online. Ik vind het niet kunnen dat een hostess een verhaal ophangt dat bij haar boeken qua koers veel gunstiger is... bleek niet zo te zijn.. ze ontvangen zelf een extra fee! We were told there is not a lot of walking because I have mobility issues. Got there and I had to stay in reception and wait for my wife to come back. 2 hours . I did not see an elephant. Very poor on the tuition rep. What a waste of money.

Dieser Ausflug trägt dazu bei, das Elefanten artgerecht gehalten werden können und man das echte Leben sieht. Die Guid's erklären alles sehr gut und beantworten alle Fragen. Wir hatten eine Begleitung nur für uns zwei. Wir konnten die Elefanten füttern und waschen helfen, aber immer mit Sicherheit. Es wurde Papier als Geschenk gemacht und dann gab es noch einen Kochkurs. Weiterhin gab es ein leckeres Buffet und reichlich Getränke. Wir können diesen Ausflug sehr empfehlen.

Die Elefanten machen einen entspannten Eindruck und werden jeweils von einem eigenen Mahout betreut. Die Besucher werden angehalten, sich ruhig zu verhalten und sich VOR dem Füttern die Hände zu waschen, zum Schutz der Tiere. Schön, dass es KEIN Reiten angeboten wird.

Sehr informative und auch unterhaltsame Tour, mit einer sehr guten deutschsprachigen Tour Begleitung durch Pookpig…. Die Elefanten werden hier, soweit ich das beurteilen konnte, sehr Artgerecht gehalten und haben auch Spaß daran , die Touris z.Bsp. zu duschen. Bei der Fütterung mit Süßigkeiten ( Bananen, Melonen Früchte) verhalten sie sich wie kleine Kinder. Rundherum ein Erlebnis, welches wir nicht missen wollen. Immer wieder gerne.

If you don’t normally do trips make the effort to do this one. It is fabulous. You learn about the elephants and how they’re cared for and you get up close and personal by feeding them and washing them. This sanctuary really cares about the animals and their wellbeing. It was such an impressive place and they made us feel so welcome. The lunch they provided for us was excellent too. Relaxing day but fun and informative. Suitable for children too.

Absolutely amazing experience, we’ve been lucky enough to visit an elephant sanctuary in India I would say this was a much better hands on experience. I learnt so much from the amazing guides. Being able to Prepare their food and feed them was such a lovely experience. Loved making paper from elephant dung. Plenty of shelter and water stations, well catered for and highly recommend for a learning experience and being able to donate to support this amazing work.

We did 3 excursions which where recommended by Emma our TUI rep, they were excellent, the tour guide were excellent and we really enjoyed all our trips

Kaksi aikuista ja 15.v poika, kaikki pidimme elämyksestä ja vietimme oikein hauskan päivän. Itse olin ehkä hieman skeptinen aluksi mutta kun huomasin miten siisti alue missä norsuja pidetään on, vakuutti se minut. Se että missään vaiheessa vierailua ei tullut sellaista eteen että joku asia maksaa erikseen (norsujen syöttäminen, kylmien juomien nauttiminen viileäkaapista yms) oli hieno asia, näillä pienillä asioilla jää rahastuksen maku pois.

Wonderful morning with the elephants. This is a sanctuary for former working elephants which funds a larger sanctuary and hospital inland. As guests, we were told all about them before getting to meet them close up, make food for them, feed them and scrub them. Craft and cooking activities too. Lunch was amazing - vegan options made specially: Staff were brilliant - welcoming, enthusiastic and informative. 100% recommend this trip. Bring cash for gift shop and clothes that can get sprayed.

This was the best elephant experience I've had. I been on a few in Africa and in India where I have ridden ontop of them but this experience of seeing, touching, washing, feeding and more important learning about them by a professional team was definitely the best. Thank you to all at the elephant sanctuary. Cheers!
