The trip overall was lovely, but due to an overheated boat engine we were unable to stop for our swim which was disappointing. The views weee wonderful but I would have liked to have had a little more time in Assos in order to explore the castle. Maybe I am being too hopeful!!

Guide was very informative both with schedule for the day and giving clear updates throughout the journey. She had many interesting stories making the trip fun and educational. Lunch was delicious. Loved the various photo opportunities Definitely good value for money. Possibly could have done with incense burners to keep the bees away at lunch.

I did ask to sit at the front as I suffer with travel sickness and when the coach arrived and I asked the rep about this she did not know anything about it. So I was not overly happy as I had made a point to ask for this with our hotel rep. However, that said she did accommodate my request and I did sit at the front.

We didn't enjoy the lunch or coffee/cake stop as the choice was limited and poor quality. A 'no food' option should be offered for this trip so people can go where they like or bring their own snacks etc..

The cave was good but the boat trip and swimming was best. Tour guide and driver were excellent as was the organisation. Catering can only be described as adequate. Overall it was a most enjoyable and informative trip if a little on the pricey side.

We felt mislead by your description of the trip. You state that in the afternoon you will visit Assos and Mythos. You do not state at any point that this will be by coach. From your description you state that there will be a boat trip to Fiskardo, we assumed that we would then re board the boat for a trip down the coast to Assos etc not board a coach for the rest of the trip. If we’d known that this was the case and stated in your trip description we would’nt have booked, certainly not for £110

Wij hebben genoten en veel geleerd van deze bootreis. Grot was erg mooi en de man in de roeiboot in deze grot was ook erg leuk . Hij zong en maakte foto's van iedereen. Ook de rondvaart was erg leuk ook de bemanning was erg aardig. We hebben ook gezwommen dat was erg verfrissend. Ook de busreis was goed verzorgd. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en gedronken. Wij vinden het een aanrader.

Hotel -Staff- Food -transfer - and premier trip -all excellent I went to White Rock hotel for yoga arranged by the hotel No Massage facilities which would have made it perfect ! Thank you ! Highly recommend this hotel ( shame about the building noise daily too !! )

We enjoyed the whole day. We liked the fact that we were not on the coach for to long between stops. We found the lunch stop unorganised, the meals came out in dribs and drabs. By the time my wife's meal came along, my meal was cold.

Our guide Elena was amazing, so much knowledge about all our locations, history of island, culture etc. Trip is a great way to see the island and its hidden treasures. Highlight was Assos and the boat trip with beach stop. Great day out, would recommend. Spiros our coach driver was exceptional, his driving along the windy roads was brilliant, very skilful.

Overall we preferred the Ithaka trip, we were in a smaller group and seemed to have more time at each stop, this trip we always seemed rushed with only 30/40 mins at each place, sometimes not long enough to find the toilets and get back in time. The food included in the price was good but realistically any restaurant suddenly reviving 50guests at the same time will struggle and so our lunch took a long time, the first passengers finished by the time we got ours, so no time to explore

It was the best trip so far we had. Planning was great, timing perfect. Loved all the information we were given on the coach about Kefalonia. The guide was well spoken, friendly and helpful. The bus driver deserves the medal driving us especially to and from Assos. The only thing we didn't like was coffee before we boarded the boat.

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We covered a lot of ground in the day. Everything was good from the excellent bus driver on some tricky roads to the Tui host (Hedka) who was very informative. A little more time to wander in the resorts would have been nice but as said we did a lot of things in one day.

Spent more time on the bus/boat than off. The cave visit was very underwhelming. The coffee stop was very poor - herded into the back of a cafe and served poor coffee and very dry cake. The boat trip was ok - enjoyed the swim at Ithica but the toilet on the boat was overflowing with “waste”. Lunch stop at Fiskardo was not good. Food quality was poor and took so long that we only had 30 minutes to look around. Assos was also very rushed. Guide was more interested in telling us about her life.

The trip was fantastic a real Kefalonia tour, the rep was very knowledgable, helpful and informative. One draw back for us was the taverna meal and drink which didn't seem to be to the same standard as other diners around us, small plastic cup and we had to share salad/bread bowl with strangers which is NOT OK when they double dip into the salad .

We liked all aspects of this tour. It was very well thought out and gave us a chance to see several parts of the Island and learn more about the history. We particularly enjoyed the boat tour which included a swim stop at a secluded beach as well as the trip to the caves. Our guide for the day was excellent, very engaging and knowledgeable about the places we visited and she helped make the day a memorable experience.

The trip was great overall, however it felt rushed, as we would like to have spent longer to look around each place. We did not get any time in Fiskardo after the taverna lunch, as literally had to be back on the coach. Would have preferred to have more time in Fiskardo and not bother with Assos as there was not really anything there!

Great day with Diamond and Spiros. Melissani Cave was delayed but worth it later. Agia Efimia was charming, though marble cake felt less traditional. Loved the boat trip, swim stop and Assos, though time was short. Fiskardo looked stunning but felt too touristy and inauthentic, menus aimed at visitors and crowds posing for social media. Myrtos was a very quick photo stop. Busy and sometimes rushed, but a strong highlight reel if you’ve only got a day. Diamond handled hiccups; Spiros drove great!

Everything was great apart from the taverna which was not a great experience. We were shouted at to sit down and everything was rushed and it felt more like a school canteen not a premier day out. The drinks were served in plastic disposable cups when all the non-tui people eating there had glasses. The food was brought out in waves so that the vegetarians had there's first and ate it before one of the meat mains came out and again they ate there's before finally the second meat course was serve

Great day. Saw lots of the island with loads of information from Diamond. Caves were a bit of a problem and miscommunication around skipping the queue when entrance machines not working. We left and had to return later. Maybe people who gave prepaid should get priority. Even later we were still an hour queueing. Lunch for vegetarians consisted of a very small plate of ratatouille with nothing accompanying it. Too small.

Pick up fab, itinerary great, boat perfect, cafe and lunch stops excellent, access to caves was long and disorganised because their systems were down and so we were turned away in the morning so had to come back after a full days touring and still had to wait an hour to get in and out for 5 mins in caves. Not TUI s fault but going back made it a longer day

It was good to get to see so much of Kefolonia on this trip. The whole trip went very smoothly with the tour guide filling the time on the coach with really interesting commentary as well as lots of history about the island. The drink and cake stop and lunch stop were in pleasant locations overlooking the harbours. Amazing views throughout the day. A well thought out trip that the whole family enjoyed.

Boat trip was very good, however, due to changeable wind we couldn’t stop for a swim which was extremely disappointing. Lake was very nice if a little short. Eleni, the guide, was extremely informative and very good fun. Excellent guide. Lunch was very nice but a lot more organisation of tables is required. Very chaotic when we first arrived. Overall, very good but a few little things to improve.

The coffee stop and boat journey with swim stop was enjoyable and at a good pace, unfortunately the stop at Fiskardo was disappointing, the inclusive food was poor and very slow, my wife had the vegetarian option which was such a small portion it wouldn’t fill a baby, suggest adding rice with it like the meat dishes had! As it was so slow we had no time to look around Fiskardo. The stop at ********** was nice but rushed with limited time to enjoy it. bus a/c worked but not enough to keep us cool

The whole day trip experience was sadly underpinned by the tragedy on our boat trip/swimming near Ithaki coast. One of our party suffered a heart attack whilst in the water, and couldn’t be resuscitated on the boat with CPR given by a member of public. for half an hour before we got back to Fiscardo. Why was the boat not carrying Defibrillator equipment?? Tui should not be operating tours on boats without this. This man’s life could have been saved had this been available.

I think it’s a bit obvious what we didn’t enjoy and actually really insensitive that we received this email to rate the trip as someone died on our trip and myself and a number of guests were involved in trying to save his life. Then to top it off, we were given no option but to continue with the excursion! Someone should have thought about stopping these automatic emails to ask us to rate the trip as it is extremely insensitive and make us have to re-live it. Another failure by TUI

For an all day trip it didn’t feel like we spent too much time on the coach. The stops were fairly close together and the boat trip was a great way to enjoy the sea. Our guide Maria was very knowledgeable about the island. Felt very safe as our driver Dimitri was obviously very experienced.

The guide was fantastic telling us stories and information throughout the whole trip. This increased our knowledge of the island. The lake is beautiful. The boat journey up the coast gave us a different aspect on the island although the swim stop was cancelled for safety reasons. Fiskardo ans ********** are lovely villages, my main criticism would be that I would have liked about half an hour longer to explore in each village. A great day out.

Disappointing due to weather conditions we were not allowed to swim in the sea so the allocated time for the swim was not used. so instead of staying on at one of the little villages a little bit longer as the swim time had not been used I feel this meant that we finished that bit earlier and arrived home earlier. but overall, it was a good day out.

The coast arrived on time, Spiros, the driver was simply amazing getting a large coach down roads and in places you wouldn't believe a coach would fit. Wendy the tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The Messilani lakes were lovely and the cake at the first pit stop was delicious. The boat trip was excellent; sadly, it was too rough to swim. The only disappointing aspect was the taverna. The beef stifado was dry, and water wasn't one of the soft drinks you could have for free.

The information provided was brilliant. Hearing about the history of the island was so interesting. We had a fantastic guide who knew so much and was so friendly. It was a nice blend of being guided round but also having independent exploration time. Having food and drinks included was a nice touch and made it a smoother, faster experience in the restaurants allowing more time to explore the villages. Would be nice to have more options in Fiskardo for food. Especially for those with dietaries.

The staff were incredible. Especially Maria our guide, but the coach driver, the staff on the boat and the staff in the Taverna were all wonderful. The various experiences were fantastic and I found it to be the right balance of busy but not too busy. The only negative is that whilst I understand the boat swim stop is weather dependent, when it does have to be cancelled, the opportunity to swim at Assos should have been made available. The time saved could have been given to us at Assos.

The trip was a splendid experience on a beautiful island. The experience was so good for one main reason! Diamond! The lady was Australian but had been residing in Kefalonia for many years. Her enthusiasm and character, her knowledge and passion, made the day so much ore than a trip around an island. We loved all activities provided on tour. The only criticism would be the free time given in Fiscardo . We enjoyed a lovely meal here but service was very slow. When lunch had been served we were left with only 10 minutes to look around this beautiful place. The minimum time to enjoy Fiscardo would be 30 mins.

Good to see island and great swimming. Too much time on coach and only pit stops for reshreshments and toilets. Lunch bad and taverna not ready and took ages, plus staff rude in parts. Coffee break rushed, coach parked far away up hill in full blasng sunshine. Overcrowded and lack of toilets. TUI probably responsible for being overcrowded as overselling tickets.

The guide Memi was knowledgeable and helped make the trip enjoyable. Each stop off was organised well. The cave trip being organised for was great because we avoided the crowds and it was cooler. Even the complimentary coffee and cake was done well. The boat trip was good. The two small towns we visited were picturesque and we felt like we were on a film set. Lunch at Taverna appalling. Arrived at Taverna at 13:05hrs and told we would be leaving at 14:30hrs (plenty of time to eat and enjoy a walk around Fiskardo). Drinks order not taken until 13:29hrs which arrived at 13:40 hrs with the starter. One main course was served at 13:45hrs and my wife's served at 13:58hrs. Dessert served at 14:12hrs (my wife had not finished eating) and this was rushed before queuing 15 mins for toilet and rushing back to the bus despite all food pre-ordered. Day ruined

Wendy gave us plenty of information about the island on the trip. Boat trip was well organised and the swim stop a welcome break. We saw some dolphins on the way. The stop at the Taverna provided us with a very pleasant lunch and 3 meal options. A very good introduction to the Island and to see what else it offers. Coach was cool and the driver (Stelios) was careful and safe (some challenging mountain corners). Very happy with the excursion.

Saw a lot of the island which was good. Coffee and cake experience was poor as was the lunch which was very basic. We were misled about the entrance price for the lake. Rep said it was €16 entrance and was included in our premium tour. It was only €10. Only got to spend twenty minutes at one of the stops, which felt very rushed. The boat trip was really good with a nice swimming stop.

Great tour to see parts of the island and town. Very dissapointed at lack of time in Fiskardo, after lunch we only had 20 minutes which included 5 minute walk to get back on coach. Whan booking were told we would have 1.5 hours. Same problem at **********, only had time to walk to village, get one drink and go to toilet before having to walk back to coach, no time at all to look round the town. Very dissapointed in above after spending g 45 minutes at beach stop, we did not swim.

Absolutely wonderful day trip. Saw so much in a day and enjoyed a lovely lunch in Fiskardo. Stopped at a beautiful secluded cove for a swim. Maria, the tour guide, provided excellent commentary and history. Air-conditioned bus very welcome on this very hot day. The drive through winding roads gave us wonderful views of this unspoilt and green island. Very well organised. Our ages range from 21 to 50 years old and all of us agree that this trip is good value and we all thoroughly enjoyed.

I enjoyed the lake and the boat trip with swim stop. We did that in the afternoon which worked well. Had we done them in the morning I think I would have felt let down by the afternoon. Lunch was ok, but basic and mass produced. It was also less enjoyable because we were surrounded by wasps. Including a free Mythos ice cream or bottle of water may have been a nice touch as part of the trip.

Tour, staff and island were really good. Early start was a bit hard but can understand when ferry trip was required. My only slight negative was it felt that the trip seemed to be a bit long, morning was good but the afternoon seemed to be stretched to fit the ferry timetable. 12 hours was a bit too much in my opinion. Overall though a lovely tour the guide and the driver were excellent.

We enjoyed the experience very much. The only criticism, we would have is that the lunch , was very rushed, by that I mean, the waiting staff, would put the hot food on table, regardless if you had finished your appettiser. I understand they had many people to serve, but , we felt pressured to finish appettiser, so our main meal was still hot. Also , Fiscardo, was experiencing a high wasp invasion, which wasn't conducive, with a calm meal.

The overall experience was fine with some great places to visit on the trip. The only let down was the lunch stop which became a bit of a free for all. The food was ok, but nothing special one person on our table didn’t even get their main course. It all seemed very hurried, and the poor staff seemed rushed off their feet. Personally I think there were too many people seated at the restaurant. Apart from that the day trip was a great chance to see some of the Island.

What ruined it was the dreadful lunch. Hard bread, cold food, meals being serves 10 mins apart, so I had my cold meat pie and my daughter waited 10 mins for her stifado. We paid for this! My drink, a glass of white wine wasn't even equivalent to a small wine, it was just covering the bottom of the glass. No desert at a was delivered to our table, most tables had left and we still hadn't received anything. There were too few staff, who obviously didn't want to be bothered with us. Refund please.

Overall, the trip was enjoyable. The TUI representative, Diamund, provided excellent service. The coach driver skillfully navigated the very dangerous roads. Lunch was disappointing .Starter was fine Greek salad to share plus drinks. Meat pie was awful. All rice two tiny pieces of meat overly deep fried. Dessert was very tiny. Teaspoon of yogurt tiny slice of plum. One lady had no main course on our table. Asked twice. Gave up as desserts were being brought out.

The trip itself was really good, but as pensioners it would have been best advised about the steps and hilly landscape before we went, I thought I was going to die at one point trying to get my breath back. And I was not the only one. Very good to see Kefalonia this way but on a hot day not really.

We especially enjoyed the caves, the boat trip and swim stop, Fiskardo and Assos as well as the stops for coffee and at Myrtos. We generally like to minimise time spent on coach travel, and this trip did that.

Wendy was a great guide, the boat tour and swim were fantastic. The caves were smaller than expected but still worth seeing and Assos was beautiful. The only thing that let the day down was the restaurant for lunch. One lady (possibly the owner) rushed us to order and spent the whole time we were there shouting at another member of staff across the restaurant which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. They also left food out with fly's flying round it for about 5 mins before actually serving it.

A brilliant trip to see a lot of the islands attractions. The staff, service & experiences were great. The only 2 areas for improvement would be 1, the vegetarian option for the 3-course lunch; the main course was just roasted vegetables, so it would have been nice to have had some rice with this (the same as with the beef stew). And 2, the amount of time in Assos - we only had 40 mins, which was barely enough time to walk down the hill to take photos, and grab a drink to consume back to the bus

We enjoyed the trip, Wendy our guide was fabulous, we appreciated her knowledge of the island and I can't sing her praises high enough. We had to return early from the boat trip and not do the swim stop as the weather was so bad and it was very cold, Wendy liaised with us about the early return from the boat trip and we all agreed to this. This was due to the weather and nothing else! We thought the meal at the taverna was disappointing and the trip was expensive.

Assos is absolutely breath taking. Fantastic way to see the beautiful island. Loved the swim stop at Ithica. The taverna lunch was cold and the food portion was very small. I had eaten mine 10 minutes before my hubby got his. It would have been nice if Agastoli was also included in the trip.

We enjoyed all the sites, but not enough time. Ordered food in Fiscado, 6 on table 2 had theirs and left before we had ours, so no time to look around properly. Same thing in Assos, walked down to harbour wife wanted toilet bought ice cream, by the time we done this was time to walk back to bus, no time to look around. As we did not stop for swim thought we would have more time to site see, but not the case.

Trip advertised as 8 hours, actual time 7 hours including travel. To say the food was pre-ordered the restaurant was not prepared. Sat down at 12.10 my husband ate his food 30 minutes before mine arrived and it was cold. We gave up waiting for a sweet at 2pm as we had to be back at the bus by 2.45pm, left no time to luck around, we didn't stop for a swim stop as it was to cold if we have I doubt we would have had time to look at all. The last village we stop at was pointless no time

The whole experience was top class. The driver Costas was amazing - hairpin bends no problem. Maria the TUI tour guide astounding with her knowledge of the island. We were amazed that she was not reading the information, but it was all ad-lib. Although the meal was excellent, it would not have been our first choice had we been given the full menu has advised by our TUI rep in the hotel. The trip has given us choices of visits when we return in August.

We just found the time on the boat quite long, especially as we chose not to swim, so just had to bob on the boat, I don’t know if it would be possible, but it would be good if those not swimming could get onto the beach.

My wife and I found it to be the best way to see the highlights of Kefalonia and explore this beautiful island, without the stress of self-driving. Maria, our guide for the day, was very good, friendly and knowledgeable. The coach driver was also very good, a competent and safe driver. The food provided at the lunch stop was very good. Whilst the tour covered a large part of Kefalonia, it didn’t feel rushed. This was an excellent tour and would recommend it to others

A great day out taking in some lovely scenes and sights. Lunch was great (Kefalonia meat pie) and everything was organised very well; the tour ran like clockwork. The icing on the cake was our wonderful guide who made the day so enjoyable; she was very well informed and was able to give us a detailed history of the island and the places we visited. She also had a great sense of humour which always helps lift the day.

The guide Maria was excellent and the driver was excellent, friendly and professional. The tour was great it covered a lot, the swim stop was great and the resataurents were good. Our only complain would be the hotel did not offer a breakfast before we left early in the morning, we waited until 10 for a hot drink and some thing to eat. Other hotels had let thier guests have breakfast early. We left our hotel st 7.15

We enjoyed the trip but it was not worth 120 euros each If we had had a driving licence would have hired a car for the week for cost of the trip. I think 80 euros is max I would pay in future the only reason we did do the trip was because we did not have a driving licence to hire the car. The lunch was okay ish. We were sold this as all inclusive on the boat we had to buy the drinks luckily we had our own water . We did trips in Thailand and Mexico with Tui that were far better value for money .

We enjoyed everything, our driver was so skilled at driving on the roads so out coach journey was really smooth. Our Guide Diamond, is a true gem for you guys. She is a really knowledgeable, caring and friendly person. Only thing I would say is can you make sure some of the food is gluten free. Hubby couldn't have the cake or bread and we weren't sure if the stifado sauce was gluten free either Apart from that we had a truly amazing time.

Deze trip was heel leuk en interessant. De gids deed het heel goed en ga veel informatie. Ze was ook erg grappig. Wat we onderweg gezien hebben was prachtig. De schoonheid van het eiland komt volledig tot zijn recht. We hebben op voorhand geen info gekregen over de eerste stop met koffie en cake na het bezoek aan de grot van Melissani. Misschien hadden we dan niets hoeven mee te nemen. De lunch in Fiskardo was heel goed.

Although billed as 8 hour trip, I was picked at 7:10 and dropped off at 18:30. Rather longer day than I planned. However, it was worth it. Fiskardo, Assos and the view of Myrtos beach were worth it on there own. The boat trip was calming and great to see the islands. The Melissani was nice, but the Canote in Mexico was trumps. Enjoyed the lunch, well cooked and tasty. For me trip was made by 2 people, Maria the TUI rep, a.azing knowledge and commentary of the island, charming friendly, George.

Our TUI rep was absolutely amazing! She was so accommodating, friendly and such a pleasure to be around. She was so smiley and such amazing knowledge about Greek Mythology and she gave us some background into her life, she had told us she was brought up in Australia but she moved to Greece because she was going back to her roots. Her family had lived in Myrtos for 600 years, it was an incredible and inspiring story about her life. She made sure we all had an amazing time

Katerina, our guide very friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Boat trip and swim stop great but boat was pretty full and hard to keep out of the sun. Lunch at fiskardo very nice, pretty village but too busy with tourists to be enjoyable.Caves at Sami fine but difficult for those with any mobility issues, not sure this was made clear. Assos village beautiful but again bus stops and guests have to walk in and back out up a fairly steep road, again not sure if this was clear when booking.

We had a fantastic day trip, the driver and guide were both great and we got to see a lot of the northern part of the island, the Cave is amazing, the boat to Fiskardo was a very nice way to approach this lovely town and Assos is just magnificent. Deze trip laat je heel veel highlights van het eiland zien. De gids geeft onderweg ook veel informatie, erg leuk! Wij hebben deze excursie met onze kinderen van 15 en 13 gedaan en dat is prima te doen! Tui zou dit mijns inziens moeten aanpassen en dan ook de prijs voor kinderen aanpassen, want die vonden wij voor de kinderen wel fors.

This is quite an expensive trip at over 120 euros each, made a little easier with the discount that was applied in resort. Our guide for the day was amazing, so easy to listen to and so knowledgable about the island and the places we visited on our day out. The trip caters for those over 12 years old only and I can understand why as there is a lot to do that would not interest youngsters and it is a long day. The restaurant we ate at was reasonable and the cafe we had coffee in was lovely.

Considering this trip was £100 plus for the day, apart from the lake and boat trip, there was far too long stopping at small towns with very little time to explore. After speaking to other travellers that had just done the other Kefalonia tour theirs seemed to be better value for money.

There was no fish option for the lunch which was odd, just two meat choices and a mixed vegetable stew which was luke warm so not ideal. The last walk around Fiscardo was rushed which was a shame as we would have liked to have seen more if this. Overall the trip was good though, the driver and rep Memi did a great job as did the boat staff.

This is pitched as a Premier Kefalonia Tour with Lake Melissani, Boat Trip and Taverna Lunch. The whole day was indeed premium Inc Costas the driver and Maria the guide BUT the Taverna lunch was very disappointing (esp the non Greek salad, and stodgy Kef meat pie) given it’s preset by TUI and quality of food was low in comparison to the other tours we went on, where there is a lunch stop but it’s not prepaid for and you make your own choice of Taverna and food… This is what lowered my score.

Leuk om de highlights van Kefalonia te zien. De gids Maria, wat een Topper is dat. Heel vriendelijk en ontzettend behulpzaam! ???? Heel erg vervelend dat de buschauffeur ons 1 half uur later pas kwam ophalen dan de aangegeven tijd. Daardoor “snoepten ze telkens 1 kwartier van onze vrije tijd in de dorpen af. In plaats van 1 uur konden wij nu maar 3-kwartier in ********** en in dat andere toeristische plaatsje vrij rondlopen. Dat ene kwartier miste ik telkens. Want nu moest ik gehaast lopen

A great day out discovering the island. :) Our guide, Diamond, was welcoming and had so much knowledge we could have listened to her all day. We liked not having to queue for Mellisani or having to stress about finding somewhere to eat in a short amount of time. The lunch was 'interesting' - Stir fry chicken arrived as a marinated chicken leg on top of plain rice - but the rest of us enjoyed our Kefelonian meat pie. The swim stop at Amoudi beach was another highlight. Thank you. :)

Maria our guide & Costa our driver were superb! The trip was informative, interesting & thoroughly enjoyable. A wonderful tour of beautiful places & we enjoyed the combination of coach travel & boat trip. I would definitely recommend this trip as it covers a lot in one day without feeling rushed. A perfect way to tour some of the island and learn about its history. Our guide Elenia, was so knowledgeable with a great sense of humour too. The visits along the trip were very well spaced out, and enough time was given at each destination. A fantastic trip with a fantastic host. We have already been recommending this trip to other hotel guests. Very happy customer, we still have two trips booked for next week. Great to look forward to.

Caves and lake were beautiful. Glad we went early and the queue when we finished was huge! Boat trip was lovely. Shame it was too rough for the swim stop but good to see safety of customers was put first. Nice lunch and stop. Very relaxed feel all day.

Oh no! We had dreary, droning diamond again! Still a bit rude, abrupt, unfriendly, unapproachable and a dogged dictator. But she does have excellent knowledge of the island and its history. She did seem to keep repeating herself though. Or perhaps it was that we’d heard it all before on the wine tasting tour. The boat trip, swim and lunch were good. The caves were a bit disappointing. Half an hour to walk down the hill and back up in ********** is nowhere near enough time. Not good value.

Maria was our guide and she was lovely and helpful, we really enjoyed our tour of Kefalonia. We were really lucky to get to the Lake Melissani early so there was no queue which was amazing given the height of the season. Our coach driver Kostas was wonderful and made the trip so easy. The boat trip was wonderful and there was no rush, which was amazing, as we didn't feel rushed. The value for money was amazing quite frankly. The food on the tour was great, lovely and fresh, really tasty. 10/10!

Whilst we had a lovely day, we feel this tour is extremely overpriced and the options available at the coffee stop were very limited and not of the best quality, it would be much nicer to be able to have the option of a latte, cappuccino or even an iced coffee and the lunch portions where very small, main course portions where more like starter size portions. we also felt due to how busy Fiskardo gets that the time there should have been reduced and more time given to explore in Assos

its a great way to see the island. a mix of coach and cruise breaks the day up. I would have liked to have seen the caves as well but not part of this tour and it was only down the road from the lake. it is a long day especially if you are staying in Lourdas, don't let that put you off though. its well worth the money and time.

Deze tour geeft je in 1 dag inzicht in alles wat het eiland te bieden heeft. Prachtige natuur, leuke plaatsjes (mn Fiskardo en Assos), bijzondere grot (met een beetje geluk zie je de Alen), geweldige boottocht met zwempauze bij een prachtig standje en een super lunch in Fiskardo. In tijd een lange dag, in beleving vloog het voorbij! Overal tijd genoeg om alles te zien. En heel bijzonder de toewijding en bezieling van onze TUI begeleidster Katharina. Hoe zij vertelde over t eiland, prachtig. Top!

The hotel, is very good rooms, staff food excellent. Downside at ground level no toilet facilities. Which makes it difficult for people with mobility issues. This is also applicable to front access which has a large steep hill to the front of the hotel. However overall experience very good.

The TUI rep was lovely and had lots of knowledge about the island. Boat trip was lovely it was a shame we couldn't stop for a swim was a bit disappointed. The meal in Fiskado was disappointing, not enjoyable, they might as well just loaded the plates with rice as that's what the bulk of the meal was. Overall was a good trip, food wasn't worth the cost, i would've preferred the option to pay extra for food or opt to get your own food.

The tour and tour guide were excellent. Coffee/cake and lunch stops however left much to be desired. It felt like your bus guests were treated to cheap alternatives including being served instant coffee and very basic food that other guests wouldn’t even have been offered. Would rather have paid a little less and bought my own.

The guide Maria was absolutely amazing. It was so lovely to see how passionate and enthusiastic she is about her home island. We had such a magical day out and enjoyed every single minute. The boat across the lake in the cave was underwhelming but I have to say the rest of the trip made up for it and the value for money was brilliant. Maria the guide was absolutely amazing not only her knowledge but her care for the group was outstanding. She made sure everyone was ok at every point. At the last stop she had personally purchased extra water which she gave to members of the group she thought were struggling with the heat. The driver was brilliant as well.

The trip was advertised and described as adult only 17+. Before booking I confirmed the adult only feature with both reps. Both reps assured me it was adult only. This was not the case one child from our hotel and others Tui guests were clearly not 17+. This was not the trip sold to us. It was wholly misleading and unprofessional.

Loved it all, lunch was fantastic, would have preferred the beer in a glass rather than a plastic glass. The lake was good but the colour spectrum we were told about only happens certain times of year apparently so we did not see that so a little disappointed, but wouldn’t have missed it for the world, a long day but bus trips usually are. Diamond our rep was very informative and an excellent guide.

Enjoyed the boat trip (preceeded with coffee and cake) and the lunch and stop in Fiskardo. The lake Melissani stop was a bit of a waste of time as the must see attraction started at 1pm and we were there at 10am. Even the boatman said we should come back at 1pm. After Fiskardo the trip went downhill as we wasted a lot of time for a stupidly short stop at Assos (basically a comfort break) then a windy ride home. The day could have been condensed into a half day and thus didn't justify its cost.

We enjoyed the whole experience. The TUI guide made the tour fun, and very interesting. It was a very good day out and good value. I am 6'2" and found the coach seating a bit cramped and would like the seating to be allocated instead of a free for all.

I felt that there was probably too many stops of short duration which made it feel a little rushed. Wendy was great as was our driver. I thought the food was very average when we stopped for lunch and would have assumed that water would be provided when we stopped for lunch. I really enjoyed the boat trip. The day was too long on a bus. Boat trip had one stop - not enough when long travelling. Caves was a short visit for the journey taken. Food was nice but time I. Fiskardo wasn’t enough. Whilst we weren’t affected, there was no warning of steps and hills which some found very difficult. Felt like there were too many people on the trip and needs consideration for this and those with hard or walking. Guide was knowledgeable but day was quite a drag. Too hot to herd people around.
