The trip is fine if you’re just keen to see Albania. However, if booking this as a fun day out, that’s not what you get. Booked the trip for support with the port / passport control in particular but didn’t receive any help, was very overwhelming trying to get through passport control! And the whole day was rushed - only got 45 mins in Sarandë. Nobody could help us find the right bus to our hotel on the way home. No TUI reps. Apparently tour company had a different name but nobody disclosed this

Was very rushed. The guide kept running off in front with no concern for those who couldn’t keep up with her, the microphone on the bus didn’t work half the time so couldn’t hear what was being said. Lunch was hardly a buffet. The 3pm ferry was missed or late so we got the 5pm ferry with everyone else who was trying to get on it and we were fighting to get on to return. I would not do this trip again. 15 minutes at a castle. Lunch turned into 40 minutes and free time 45 minutes

Trop de temps perdu pour les formalités douanières. Et mauvais renseignements fournis par une déléguée marmara à l'hôtel : aucun guide avec un panneau " Tui" ne nous attendait à la sortie du bateau..il a fallu se débrouiller en anglais pour trouver le bon bus, perte de temps. Sinon repas très sympa, guide bien...

Bus pick up sent us to a hotel 15 mins away then the bus takes off on time good job the next pick point was out side of our hotel ???got to the port all good guide get on the bus hands us boarding pass for the ferry and says more information will be give on the ferry. Which never happened, we got off the boat no guide to be found .Myself and wife and another couple from the bus went true passport control and still nothing. We where ushered out of the building by security with not a clue of wher

Persönlich gebucht Butrint bei Tourguide („B. 2 Std Zeit“). Individuelle Erkundung von B. mit späterem Treffpunkt vom Guide auf Anfrage NICHT erlaubt. Butrint 75 Minuten (Weltkulturerbe!!!). Zeit für S-Promenade 75 Minuten, hier Treffpunkt Pflicht! und trotz Einwand räumlich so ungeschickt, dass man sie einmal hin und zurück und dann noch einmal als Gruppe gehen musste. Zeitaufwand von gesichtsloser, neuer Strandpromenade und Weltkulturerbe für mich (ehem Tourguide) im DEUTLICHEM Missverhältnis.

Rien à dire sur l'organisation qui est bien. Mais cette excursion ne vaut pas la peine d'être faite sauf si vous voulez ajouter un pays visité sur vos profils. 01h20 de car le matin pour aller au port, 40mn de ferry, 45mn de bus pour aller sur les 2 sites aller, 45 mn pour en revenir et déjeuner, à nouveau 40 mn de ferry puis à nouveau 01h20 de car pour renter au resort. La ville de Saranda est inintéressante et y rester 01h00 le soir avant de partir ne sert à rien. Butrint au top mais trop loin

The guide was very knowledgeable but we felt the trip was very rushed to fit everything in. It was a very long day, advertised as 8 hours but in actual fact it was round about 13 hours which is a very tiring trip. Also the trip cost quite a lot but then had to pay port tax of €20 each which was a total rip off. It was far too rushed being herded from bus to ferry to bus and then back on the ferry and bus back to hotel

The guide was a bit rude, tried to be funny but was just irritating. Seeing the ruins was good, but then rushed at the end unable to view the craft stalls. Lunch was rushed and not good value. We had to leave before everyone had finished. We had a 10 mins walk towards the port where we spent 45 mins with little to do, then 10 mins walk to the port. we had to wait over 1 hour on the coach for the next Ferry passenger's to arrive before the hours trip back to the hotel. Shocking!

Nous avons aimé le site historique. Par contre trop de temps dans les transports. 1 h 30 de bus car ramassage de plusieurs hôtels. Trop de temps à la douane. Il devrait y avoir une file pour les groupes. 1 heure de ferry. Visite du château 15 mn chrono.Visite du site historique au pas de charge.Restaurant simple, crudités, boulettes,riz pas de dessert et sans boisson. J ai vu mieux sur d autres sorties. Shopping 45 mn.Et retour sur le ferry. Journée trop longue et fatiguante pour peu de temps .

Aucun accompagnement de marmara. Guide récupéré uniquement en Albanie. Beaucoup de transport pour peu de visite le prix payé ne vaut pas la prestation fournie. De plus nous avons pris 5 excursions et aucune remise proposée. J aurais du prendre les excursions en dehors les prix étaient largement inférieur pour les mêmes services.

Consider the excursion very poor value for money. Only visiting one site and stop for lunch. Site visit felt extremely rushed by guide. Free time at port was extremely limited. Barely 15minutes. Felt rushed to finish lunch for moving on. No indication terrain at site would be rough. Would definitely not recommend it.

Albania was a good experience but we could have spent more time at Butrint and the castle. Didn't need free time in Siranda but this could have been option for lunch or not at all. Straight to to Butrint would have been preferable and return via the castle with more time and an opportunity for refreshments However, we were not enamoured with the paxos, antipaxos trip combined with ours. We waited at least 45 minutes for their boat to arrive. Also there was lack of communication between the rep,

Es war , um es mal etwas militärisch auszudrücken, Generalstabsmässig geplant. Vom Abholen am Morgen, die Vertwilung der Tickets im Bus , Erklärungen , Begleitung zur Zollkontrolle- zur Fähre ece. das ganze auch auf der Rücktour. Perfekt! Unser Guide- tolles Deutsch , sehr viel erklärt , viel nebenbei noch zu Land, Stadt und Geschichte. Wir waren 6 Leute.

When we stopped for coffee in Albania and lunch I got charged 20 euros for 2 water and a latte They said the rate of exchange was 9 to the euro it was actually 90 i spoke to the tour guide and she got my correct change so just be careful and ask for a written receipt and the menu Ken

The trip was amazing and the guide high quality. Only issue was transfer on return to Corfu. This was discussed with the rep on the hotel, who has passed on that if passengers are expected to wait nearly 2 hours on a coach on return that a) optional water should be provided and b) port rep needs to keep people informed what is happening. The rep in the hotel was extremely empathetic when I discussed the situation the following day.

Nach der Anreise sind wir in ein Hotel angekommen, wo man sich Getränke kaufen konnte, aber man gleich gesagt bekommt, in 20 min geht es weiter, endlich angekommen in Burint hat man auch ein Zeitfenster, was man verlängern könnte, wenn man sich die erste Getränkepause sparen würde. Generell war das Guideteam super, top organisiert immer sehr freundlich und Auskunftsfreudig. Das Mittagessen in den selben Hotel war durchschnittlich aber inkl. im Preis. Die Getränke muss man selber zahlen.

C'était vraiment super, les lieux visités étaient magnifiques, le guide présente bien les choses, peut-être rajouter lors de la présentation de l'excursion que c'est une journée assez speed, contenu de la circulation etc.. nous avions que très peu de temps une fois sortie du bus.

Les sites proposés sont magnifiques Cependant la visite de Saranda présente peu d’interet Repas correct Temps d’attente frontière extrêmement long Le hic est le retour en car pour Roda. We liked Albania itself: the trip to the Roman ruins and the overall feel of the resort. Our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. However, the passport control on either side was nearly 1 hour, meaning it took over 2.5 hours each way. The entire day felt very rushed, and we feel like we saw very little. The lunch staff seemed begrudged to have us there, and there was a similar feeling in resort with the shopowners and bar staff. Also almost everything in Albania was cash only.

Booked online, in email confirmation said to visit rep in hotel, which i did. No mention of anything except have I filled in the boat form, no idea what boat form it was, but was sent a link and completed. Pick up was fine, came earlier, but it is worth noting the bus also serves other trips. Got to port, absolutely chaotic no idea where to go what to do so joined the passport queue. Over an hour later on the ferry. Albania port even worse.

C'est le type d'excursion piège à touristes, impression de remplissage du car dans de nombreux hôtels de la région. Quand vous avez retiré 4h00 de bus aller et retour, 1h30 de passage en douane inorganisé. Deux heures de bateau vous passez 5h00 en Albanie sur une journée démarrée à 6h45 et terminée à 20h45. Le buffet du midi était minimaliste, par contre les boissons payantes assez conséquentes pour un Pays ou le Smic est de 500 euros par mois. Un dernier mot sur la grande qualité de la guide

Eens de andere cultuur beleven en een prachtige UNESCO side bezocht. De gids ter plaatse was zeer goed met haar uitleg . Minder was een zeer lange dag want eerst opgehaald om 6u30 en terug om 20 u. Bij terugkomst een uur in de bus moeten wachten tot de andere boot die van een andere excursie terugkwam.

Le premier arrêt pour la pause café n’est pas utile. Ce temps là devrait être utilisé pour le château afin d’apprécier le panorama et prendre un café ou boisson fraîche. Peut-être proposer de prendre son maillot de bain et serviette pour profiter de la plage de saranda car il n’y a pas vraiment de boutiques pour la dernière petite heure restante.

1st driver great! Trip h’light tbh! Whole day more like a coach trip than seeing Albania. ‘Restaurant’ 4 coffee break (20mins) n then lunch (40mins) VERY expensive for Albania & ripped us off using card, £16 4 2 beers! Too much time spent at ruins but only got 10mins at top 4 museum, but couldn’t do as was spent q’ing for loo! Castle after lunch, for 15mins, should happen be4 as only left with <30mins ‘free time’ on sea front. Worst, abandoned at Corfu port after >1hr at p’port control. Cab back

Visite très intéressante mais ce fait au pas de course, visite bilangue trop lourde avec une guide anglaise qui monopolise le micro pour 6 anglais alors que la majorité du bus est français, dommage que le repas ne soit pas typique albanais et que nous avons eu que 45 minutes pour manger

Der Transfer war schlecht. Bei der Buchung wurden wir 3x darauf hingewiesen, dass die Abholung am "Main gate" stattfindet und nicht am Eingang zur Rezeption. Am "Main gate" eingestiegen um dann zum Wenden des Busses am Eingang zur Rezeption vorbeizufahren. Leider haben wir einen sehr unbequemen Bus erwischt. Bei der Rückkehr im Hafen ca. 40 Min in der Sonne auf den Bus gewartet, da man keine verbindliche Aussage über die Ankunft treffen konnte. Es lief noch etwas schief - Leider kein Platz mehr

Bus didn't turn up. We were at the agreed meeting place ahead of time and had visibility beforehand. 1. Called TUI UK and was told their supplier said we were not there. We were.. 2. Supplier office didn't open to 7.30 so the bus driver left messages with them and called us according to TUI 3. Spoke to the supplier said they had no number to call us. 4. They do not refund so we were rebooked Day 2. Bus took 2 hours to ferry, tour stops not as advertised. Albania is lovely but not through TUI.

Despite being a very long day overall the trip itself was great. Our tour guide was lovely and provided lots of interesting information about Albania during the bus ride to the various locations and well as giving us a history of Butrint as we toured the site. She is very passionate about the country. The tours gave the opportunity to witness some stunning views, perfect backdrop for that holiday photo.

alles sehr gut organisiert. Preis war aber stark überzogen, zumal noch zusätzlich 20€ Hafensteuer pro Person bezahlt werden musste. Mittagessen im Hotel in Albanien war in Ordnung. Dafür waren die separat zu bezahlenden Getränke unverschämt, z.B. 6,50€ für ein kleines Bier. Transfer vom und zum Hotel war unzumutbar lang. Wir wurden am Costa Botanica als erste abgeholt und als letzte wieder abgeliefert. Dazwischen wurden Hotels in Roda und Sidari angefahren.

Der Ausflug war gut organisiert. Es fing an mit der Abholung am vereinbarten Treffpunkt. Ging weiter über die Busfahrt und anschließend mit der Fähre nach Albanien. Dort stand der nächste Bus mit deutscher Reiseleiter bereit. Es hat das Ruder übernommen und und den ganzen Tag kompetent begleitet. Das was angekündigt war wurde auch umgesetzt. Würde den Ausflug noch einmal machen.

Entre le départ de l'hôtel et le port de Corfou pas un mot en français bien que l'excursion soir proposée par LOOKEA le chauffeur du bus ne comprenait pas le français , arrêt 30min en chemin on ne sait pourquoi et arrivé au port les autorités grecques ne parlant qu'en anglais pour des touristes français dont une partie n'a rien compris. ces autorités n'étaient là que pour percevoir les 20€ et donner quelques explications sur le passage de la frontière toujours en anglais

Excellent trip. Would recommend. The guide was so knowledgeable. This is the second time we booked this trip as we enjoyed it so much last year. Butrint is beautiful. Quite a bit of uphill walking and a steep decline back down from the top but there is an option for those with mobility issues to miss out this part if required. Delicious lunch in a lovely hotel and the views from the fort above Sarande are amazing. Well organised and we had a great trip on the boat there and back.

Hotel transport/pickup was on time which is always a big plus! Coaches were clean, tidy and air conditioned; great! The tour guide in Albania was particularly good; really friendly and knowledgable! The amount of time in each location was perfect; don’t change the itinerary, it was perfect as it is. Butrint was really interesting and the vantage point from the castle above Sarandë was the perfect spot for pictures. I can’t really fault the experience! Thanks!

Again having booked a trip that said 13+ yrs I was looking forward to child free adventures. There was a VERY precocious 8 year old whose parents just let him do what he wanted!!!! However the Guide was very knowledgeable and gave us so much information about the location it was interesting to learn about the civilisations previously of Albania. The lunch was cold and very disappointing. Recommend trying somewhere else as this is the second trip with disappointing food. Overall not a bad trip.

Albania is a beautiful Country and well worth a visit. The short 30 minute crossing from Corfu Port to Saranda on the hydrofoil was quick but would have been better if they had a cafe on board. Our tour guide (Mira) was fabulous and kept us entertained with interesting facts about Albanian history as well as having a wicked sense of humour. The historic ruins at Butrint are reminiscent of Rome. Saranda Town was a delight and surprisingly affordable. A great day out if you get the chance.

Nous avons aimé l'accueil et les explications du guide sur le site de Butrint. Nous avons moins apprécié de déjeuner dans un hôtel pour touriste plutôt que dans un restaurant local. De plus le cout des boissons à l'hôtel était disproportionné en rapport au pays (12€ pour une bière et un verre de vin rosé)

Er was een misverstand tussen de mailbevestiging en de voucher. De ophaallokatie was niet duidelijk. Hotel of elders? Daardoor misten we de bus. Maar werden wij ook gemist? Niemand heeft naar ons geïnformeerd. We zijn zelf naar de haven gereden en zijn ingecheckt. Maar niemand heeft naar ons gevraagd. De lokale reisbegeleiding gaf door haar verhaal van alles hoge verwachtingen, maar t was niet super. Na afloop zijn we in de haven van Corfu weer vertrokken. Niemand heeft ons gemist , denk ik.

Early morning pickup ok but an hour and a half to port not so good.The hydrofoil was filthy and looked in very poor repair. My understanding of marine law is that a safety briefing should be given before the craft leaves port this did not occur at anytime.The experience in Albania was pleasant although not much time to actually see anything was very limited.The craft on the return was much more pleasant and clean once again no safety briefing occurred. Albania was beautiful and unspoilt. Trip was about the right length. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative. My only concern is that she underestimated the length of time needed to get back to the boat at the end of the free time in Sarande. We only just made it. If the coach had dropped us off a little bit further along the promenade then this wouldn’t have been an issue. On the whole however it was a great trip and I’m pleased I did it.

Le guide est parfait, les commentaires sont denses et pertinents, c'est une très belle présentation du site archéologique mais aussi du pays. A améliorer: l'accueil au retour sur le port de Corfou. on s'est retrouvé un peu seul à faire le tour des nombreux bus sur le parking pour trouver enfin celui qui nous ramène à l'hotel.

Le site de Butrint est très bien et la guide française (Marsi) est très intéressante et prend bien soin du groupe. Beaucoup d’attente et peu d’explications pour le reste de la journée. Nous avons eu l’impression plusieurs fois d’être perdu . Le temps libre à Saranda est sans intérêt . Sortie chère pour ce résultat.

Excursion plutôt sympa, cela est l’occasion de découvrir un bout de l’Albanie qui est à côté. Les deux visites proposées (site archéologique et château) sont très bien. La journée est assez épuisante (beaucoup de trajet), le repas du midi compris n’a pas trop d’intérêt. Il aurait mieux fallu enchaîner les 2 visites le matin, nous déposer dans le centre de Saranda et manger par nous-même (nous aurions pu manger local pour vraiment pas cher), de plus cela nous donne plus de temps libre

The Guide disappeared at the ruins for the English speaking leaving us looking for her, we eventually followed the French speaking guide into the grounds where we found our English speaking guide collecting tickets for the English, French, and Germans. Unfortunately the guides didn't use a banner to follow and one English couple got left behind and missed the tour having to go back to the coach. After they complained on the return to the ferry the guides then used boards to identify them to us.

Dans le bus il y avait 3 guides (FR-EN-AL) et les explications chaque fois en 3langues,un peu fastidieux. Concernant l hôtel Mediteranee pour le café du matin et le lunch, il ne vaut pas les 4 étoiles et pas bcp de choix (tomates,concombre,olives,fêta,choux,riz,boulettes ,poulet et pdt pas cuites.).Tranches de pain desséchée et en dessert une pomme. Pour les boissons, le prix change, le matin pour 2 cocas c'est 5,30€ avec ticket et à midi pour 3 cocas cela devient 12€ sans ticket.Pas honnête .

Der Tagesausflug war sehr gut organisiert, obwohl nicht viel Zeit zur Verfügung stand wurde uns von unserem sehr netten Guide sehr viel erklärt. Die Informationen waren sehr interessant. Der Tourismus boomt,entsprechend sind die Preise. Es entstehen viele Bettenburgen in den Centren und Umgebung. Leider muss die Natur darunter leiden. Ich empfehle den Tagestripp.

The journey was not pleasant, the boat terminal was chaotic on both sides, it was an absolute free for all getting on to the boats. Albania itself was beautiful but we felt like we were herded around a bit! The UNESCO site was the best bit of the day and was really beautiful. It was good value for money overall.

Très mal organisé. Nous avons payé une taxe de 20 euros (ok avec le principe) mais pas de reçu. On peut se demander où va cette taxe ? Nos billets de bateaux étaient au nom de d'autres personnes. Notre guide français nous a abandonné avant le déjeuner, nous nous sommes retrouvés avec un guide allemand ! On ne savait pas dans quel car aller au retour. Le repas : dommage qu'il ne nous a pas permis de découvrir les spécialités locales. Nous avons eu que 25 minutes pour visiter la ville !

The trip overall was very good the guide was very engaging and knowledgeable. Albania is lovely with some stunning views especially from the castle we visited. It was a very day and we did seem to be sitting in the bus at the port for a long time. I think the biggest issue was the 20€ per person port tax that you had to pay in cash which made the trip even more expensive. It was not made clear that you would have to pay this amount at any time.

The cavalier attitude of both transfers to and from the port of corfu to our hotel was outrageous. We were left in a supermarket car park in sidari at 7am in the cold with no facilities by the driver of our first bus to await a second bus which did not arrive for 25 minutes. There was insufficient seating on the ferry to albania. On return, we had to endure a one hour wait on the bus caused by the staff not collecting all boarding passes and then were not taken directly to the pickup

Pour manger le midi, les visites du site archéologique qui pour moi n’a pas besoin d’être mis dans l’excursion pour justement pouvoir plus profiter des boutiques etc…puis dès le départ de l’hôtel on est a l’abandon tout comme en arrivant au port de Corfou pour prendre le ferry. Nous avons attendu dans le bus sans explications. Il faudrait quelqu’un avec nous du début jusqu’au port de Corfou.

Alles war super bis auf die Abholung vom Hotel zum Hafen war chaotisch da wir nicht erkennen konnten, ob wir im richtigen Bus saßen. Auch der Fahrer gab uns nicht wirklich eine gute Auskunft. Die Hafenabwicklung vor Antritt hätte man uns bereits schon zukommen lassen können, als wir noch zuhause waren. So mussten wir hier viele Seiten mit schlechtem Internet ausfüllen. Aber ab Hafen und auch in Albanien perfekte Organisation auch mit den Reiseführern.

Très belle excursion, guide disponible et ouvert aux questions. Le repas servi le midi dans l’hôtel est excellent ! Les paysages Albanais sont à couper le souffle. Seul bémol, l’excursion est un peu chère si l’on ajoute la taxe douanière qui est passée de 10 à 20€ par personne. Néanmoins, pas de regret et le déplacement en a valu la peine.

There were issues with communication before we got to Albania, We weren't told it was with a different tour company, the bus to the port was not clearly marked and we were given no guidance as to which boat to get on post passport control. when we got Albania however the Tour was fantastic, the tour guide very friendly and knowledgeable, the food was great and the ruins stunning. The free time was a little disappointing as the area is more Bars Beach and Grockle shops than anything else.

From start to finish, the tour was excellent and value for money. Thank you to the driver who picked us up, the boat trip, the guides and bus driver in Albania. Our guide was extremely informative and made sure that our group was together at all times. The World Heritage site was a great place to visit and she told us its history every step of the way. Lunch was plentiful and tasty and the stop with free time in Sarande was excellent. What a beautiful place. It’s an excellent trip.

Lunch was great. Guide was great. Roman ruins great. Transport back to Corfu by sea was very bad. Some kind of ancient landing craft. Only seats were on top with only rudimentary sun canopies for shelter. Boat went through a heavy rain storm, rough sea and torrential rain. Heavy rain blew under the canopies, no protection and no crew. People were panicking. Some tried going down to car deck but no seating there. Every passenger drenched to skin.

Die historischen Sehenswürdigkeiten waren sehr interessant und der Guide war Sachkundig. Auch der Zwischenstopp mit dem Essen war gut. 2 Dinge haben mich gestört. 1. Der Guide ist am Anfang losgeprescht ohne auf alle Teilnehmer zu achten. Wir haben mit einigen anderen aus unserer Gruppe, die eigentliche Gruppe, nach einen ca. halben Kilometer wieder gefunden. Nach einer kurzen Diskussion war der Rest dann super. 2. die Zeit in Saranda zum bummeln war mit 45 Minuten sehr kurz bemessen.

Es hat 3 Stunden gedauert bis man überhaupt in Albanien war, der Reiseleiter war sehr nett und hat das gut gemacht. Jedoch hatte man für alles sehr wenig Zeit, es war nur ein Gehetze am Schluss gerade mal 20min für freie Zeit bevor es wieder zurück ging. Als ob man da noch was machen könnte. Auch das Mittagessen war ein Witz! Kann man auch in seinem Hotel essen! Waren insgesamt 12 Stunden unterwegs bis man wieder im Hotel ankam, lohnt sich nicht, vorallem nicht für das Geld

Good tour guide, nice little pit stop after getting off the boat, excellent lunch. Dislikes; ferry facilities were terrible, no water, coffee/tea available to purchase. Onboard toilets, no paper, soap or running water. No evacuation procedure announced, shocking. More time at the castle would've been good instead of the 10-15 mins we got.

Obwohl es in der Ausschreibung von TUI zu dieser Tour hieß, man müsse am Vortag bei der Hafenbehörde seine Daten hinterlassen, wurde mir das bei der Anmeldung abgenommen. TUI übernahm dies für mich. Ich hätte mich sonst nicht zu dieser Tour angemeldet, die schlussendlich die beste der Touren war, die ich gebucht habe. Ich fühlte mich bei der ganzen Tour gut betreut, angefangen von der Begrüßung am Hafen, die Erklärung für die Passkontrolle, die Überfahrten und die Führung in Albanien.

L’organisation très mauvaise on prends un guide français et au départ il ne parles que l’anglais à vs de vs débrouiller jusqu’en Albanie ou la le guide francophone était la. La 1 ère visite sympa repas typique albanais tomate concombre et boulettes de viandes le tout franchement pas bon c’est plus que limite ! The day trip to Albania was extremely well organised with well timed comfort breaks and clear instructions were given throughout the day. The inclusive buffet lunch was particularly excellent with a lot of choice at a well chosen venue and in the shade too which was a bonus.

Omgeving PRIMA We bezoeken zelf geen ruïnes maar het meeste werd door de gids prettig en leerzaam vertelt! Lunch: er was geen bediening voor drankjes en ook waren er te weinig tafeltjes/stoelen Aanduiding bij inschepen op Corfu was niet aanwezig Maar al met al: GENOTEN !!!

La traversée en bateau de Corfou à Saranda en Albanie a été fort agréable. La visite du site archéologique de Butrinti a été très enrichissante, bien qu'il y avait trop de groupes de touristes à la fois. Merci encore pour la gentillesse et la patience des guides et animateurs.

Er was veel onduidelijkheid over waar je moest zijn, toen de boot eenmaal aankwam in Albanië. Eenmaal in de bus was de Engelstalige gids niet goed te verstaan. Ook bij de stopplaatsen liep ze al door voordat de groep compleet was.

De pick up met de bus was prima maar aangekomen in de haven wordt je aan je lot over gelaten en is het allemaal best chaotisch. Saranda is erg toeristische stad met veel hoogbouw. De Antieke stad was prachtig en het uitkijkpunt ook. Gids was erg enthousiast. Buffet was prima , beetje koud maar dat is vaak zo. Al met al een leuke maar lange dag. Als je maar 8 dagen op Corfu verblijft zou ik het niet doen er is genoeg op Corfu zelf te zien. Bij een langer verblijf is het heel leuk om te doen

We stonden 15’ voor ophaal klaar voor het hotel, de chauffeur weigerde om ons mee te nemen! We zijn nog 45’ blijven staan omdat we dachten dat het de verkeerde bus was… maar er daagde niemand meer op! We verloren daardoor een dag van onze vakantie want we konden niets meer plannen. Dat was een groot minpunt van onze reis!

Albanien ist ein wunderschönes Land ab Albanien war alles super wir hatten ein ganz toller Guide sehr Kinder freundlichen. Das Essen war richtig richtig lecker. Von Korfu aus war es eine Katastrophe über den Zoll zu kommen und bis ich die Fahrkarten hatte war ein hin und her und keiner hat geholfen. Haben es aber trotzdem hinbekommen. Nach dem Anfang stress wurde es dann richtig schön wie gesagt ab Albanien.

It would have been useful to know the tour was the finika line tour not a tui tour as at no point was that explained and led to much confusion at the start especially when waiting for a tui coach - which all drove past and only by asking the finika staff did we find out where we should be . A pretty basic communication error!

Totally miss sold this trip - we clearly stated that we had two small children plus grandparents. We were told that this would be fine as it was a family friendly trip. After travelling for almost 5 hours, when we arrived at the first stop it was not suitable and we had to sit and wait for the others. The restaurant was also just a buffet in a hotel not an authentic meal as sold. And the guide kept leaving us behind and almost lost and left us Albania! Stressful and very disappointing trip!

We were given little info about how the guide would meet us in Albania. Which resulted in us being stranded at the ferry port. With no one available to help us. No effort made by the 3rd party tour guide to look for us at the one exit point?? We had to turn on roaming which resulted in huge charges adding to stress only to be told to find 3rd party guide.

The whole day was value for money. Knowledgable tour guide. The sites visited were very good. The hotel lunch was decent. Would have preferred more time in the port of Saranda in the afternoon but this was curtailed by the bad morning traffic on leaving port to visit the sites. It was a long day (12.5 hours from hotel pick up to drop off) but a lot was packed into it. One of the best holiday excursions I’ve ever done.

Coach took very long time to get to UNECO site through traffic. We felt rushed around the site. We only got 30 mins to spend in Saranta!! I would have expected at least 1 hour When the coach left us off in Saranta the guide marched ahead & didn't check to make sure everyone was off the coach. After our 30 mins in Saranta the guide did the same thing again, marching way ahead on our walk back to the ferry. She did not wait to see if everyone was present & did not do a head count.

Overall trip was great. The tour guide was excellent, but the trip to the castle was unnecessary and left too little time to see Saranda. Ferry terminals chaotic and disorganised, you need to listen out for instructions as several ferries operate trips to different locations at the same time

Die Anreise aus Korfu ( von Roda aus) ist sehr anstrengend und dauert bis zu 4 Stunden. Die verbleibende Zeit in Albanien ist dann sehr knapp bemessen und man wird durch die Sehenswürdigkeiten durchgescheucht… die Getränke beim Mittagessen kosten extra. Für unsere Kinder war es ein Abenteuer … für die Eltern nicht. Der deutschsprachige Guide war sehr nett.

An excellent trip - the guide was great and lunch nice. Butrint was an amazing place. Only down sides were the driver in the way there not saying we needed to stay on the coach as he was dropping others to other boat trips first, not much time in saranda at the end, the traffic on the way to butrint and the chaos at the port on the way back. We would actually like to go there for a holiday the places were visited were so lovely - ksamil seemed lovely as we drove through it.

Alles keurig geregeld, in de bus, bij de haven en in Albanië werden we begeleid. Sarande en Ksamil zijn uit de grond gestampte toeristen steden met heel veel hotels (in aanbouw) maar fatsoenlijke infrastructuur ontbreekt. Doordat we zo lang in de file stonden van Sarande naar Butrint verviel de gehele vrije tijd in Sarande. Butrint is prachtig en de moeite waard. Gids had er helaas flink de vaart in vanwege de verloren tijd. Lunch in 4-sterren hotel buffet zeer matig qua keuze en kwaliteit.

The guide and all staff the operator were rude, abrupt, dismissive, disinterested and generally unhelpful. The UNESCO site was extremely dangerous with wooden steps that were collapsing, bits of loose masonry and thousands of trip/fall hazards with no barrier protection. The explanation of where we had to be and what we had to do at any given time was poor throughout the excursion. There was no free time to explore as advertised meaning we got no general impression of Albania at all.

We were expecting to pay for this on our credit card so was a tad frustrated when we had to hand a big chunk of our cash over. The guide & driver were great, I felt the ruins was a bit rushed and as a result we missed a section and didn't get a chance for the gift shop. They seemed more bothered about getting us back to waste 1/2hr we was also advised to bring swim stuff as there wasn't a swim stop like we were told.

Nous avons passé plus de temps dans les transports qu en Albanie. 1h30 de bus depuis l'hôtel, arrivée pas d'accueil en français pour prendre le bateau, on s'est débrouillées seules, puis environ 1h de bateau, accueil avec le guide français ouf... Puis plus de 2h de bouchon en bus pour arriver sur le site archéologique annoncé, visite expresse pour revenir ensuite pour le déjeuner 40 minutes. Nous devions visiter un château l'après-midi mais pas le temps le bateau était à 16h. Dommage déçue.

Publicité mensongère. Par incompétence nous avons du choisie entre 10 min de visite d'un château ou la ville. Prestation trop excessive pour une visite de 1h d'un cité archéologique et 10 min un ancien château. Temps de transport excessif sans entissipation du chauffeur ( arrêt carburant. Circulation) Guides qui ne sait pas s'organis. Déjeuner sans intérêt et insipide. Prise en charge pour les formalités doiniaires et autre, accompagnement juste pour encaissement des taxees

Pas de guide francophone au départ, 1h de bus, 1h pour la douane et 1h30 de bateau, pour dès l’arrivée faire une pause dans un hôtel avec boissons payantes. Après 25 mn de pause , le chauffeur redémarre et fait 30 mètres pour s’arrête faire le plein d’essence ! 1h30 dans les bouchons pour rejoindre le site archéologique. À peine 40 mn pour manger car nous sommes en **********. Et bouquet final on nous demande de choisir entre la visite du château et la ville !! Bref une arnaque !!!

Die Abholung verlief etwas chaotisch, weil verschiedene Unternehmen gleichzeitig Gäste abgeholt haben und die Busse nicht gut gekennzeichnet waren, aber in Albanien war alles super organisiert und unser deutschsprachiger Guide war super! Er war sehr gut informiert und wusste zu jedem Thema etwas zu sagen. Die Rückreise verlief dann aber wieder problemlos. Jederzeit empfehlenswert. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Très belle visite avec de belles informations du guide. Arrêt et repas dans un hôtel 4 étoiles qui en profitent au niveau tarif dans un pays à bas coût. Déçus par le déjeuner. Aucune spécialité albanaise. Juste des crudités basiques, des boulettes et riz puis une simple pomme. Nous aurons préféré payer 10€ de plus et manger des spécialités albanaises.

Weather was beautiful. When we spoke to our rep at the hotel prior to booking we were given a brief overview and advised we would have around 1-2 hours free time when in Albania, however this free time was actually 25 minutes and felt incredibly rushed and did not allow us to enjoy ourselves following the guided tour. Given we only had 25 minutes after tour, we were rushed into souvenir shopping which ended up in us getting scammed by one of the vendors which left sour taste after trip.

My husband and I booked the day trip to Albania with TUI and to be honest we were quite disappointed with the experience. On arrival in Sarande we were immediately brought for refreshments - I’m not sure if there was any need for this as it delayed the start of the trip. We enjoyed our time in Butrint but were very disappointed to have only 25 minutes to explore Sarande as opposed to 2hours as advertised. The lunch was fine, but there was nothing Albanian about it - we could have been anywhere.

Der Service ist da sehr gut . Die Leute sind da sehr hinterher. In Albanien wird noch sehr viel gebaut ist eine Reise wert. Wir waren bei den unecco Erbe mit einem deutschen Reiseleiter er war sehr freundlich und hat uns viel erzählt und in der stadt hat er uns noch viel erzählt und gezeigt. Beautiful views, Great boat journeys and the views. Good lunch and staff were helpful. The day was rushed at times, late start and delays so lunch was pushed to about 3.00pm. Little time left to see the town. When we arrived at passport control we were just waved off and left to find our own way through. Anyone with mobility problems will find the walk round the ruins very challenging to keep up! This should have been explained by the Tui reps at the start.

Loved Albania. The time in Sarandë to roam without the guide was great allowing a chance to sit and have a drink, or buy something. Butrint was great but probably felt slightly rushed, although it is a big site to visit. The coffee stop when we got there was good and the lunch provided was tasty. The port experience on the way out was a bit chaotic and confusing, but once onboard the ferry, it seemed plain sailing from there. Overall a really good experience.

We had a super day. Very interesting excursion, lovely food/coffee stop, super guide, and it has definitely vetted our appetite to go back to explore some more. One thing that was a slight concern was that the bus which picked us up from the hotel did not display the TUI sign, so my son, who works for you, was worried all the way to the port that we had actually not been picked up by the correct bus. He always tells his customers that they should look for the TUI sign.

Point positif : Le site archéologique de Butrint qui est le seul intérêt de l'excursion. La guide francophone. Point négatif : Le temps de transport, on nous avait vendu un trajet de 30 minutes en hydroglisseur alors que nous avons mis 1h30!!!! Very little time spent at the interesting sites 15 minutes at 1 then just over an hour at another plus only 45 minutes at the last one. A little confusion with the driver picking us up. He didn’t have a list of names of the people he was picking up. Corfu Port is a bit shambolic but seems to work. Guide in Albania very good. Could have done with more time at Butrint but a lot is covered in a day. I would recommend this trip.

Fantastic trip, really enjoyed it. Great to visit another country while in Corfu. Guidec was fantastic, lunch buffet was good. However, i do feel a drink should have been included with lunch. The early stop should also include drink. Maybe if could have more time at castle would be great. Sailing over and back very smooth. Downside - chaos in Corfu port trying to find the right bus back to hotel. Once found it, it took over 90mins to to our hotel on West of island

Very good trip the rep throughout the tour was excellent good value for money. The hotel we stopped at was lovely the food excellent staff very courteous. Only downside was we were dissapointed we didn’t have more time at the end only 20 minutes to try and grab some momentous on the prom . Would consider holiday here.

The ruins were very interesting, but spent a long time getting there due to their poor road system. We had good service at the small cafe, but absolutely no free time, as promised, to look around the town. If it had not been for the little market stalls on the port front, we would not have been able to get anything or any souvenirs at all. We had just 20 minutes before having to board the boat. Such a shame, as we were unable to enjoy or taste or experience any of their local culture.

Excursion décevante : beaucoup de transport (bus + bateau) avec passage douane (et taxe de 15€ et non pas 10€) pour rejoindre Saranda qui n'est pas franchement une belle ville, avec sa multitude de constructions en cours ou abandonnées ... De plus, le déjeuner censé avoir lieu dans un hameau (typique a priori) s'est fait dans un hôtel de Saranda avec un menu très basique. Seule visite intéressante : le site de Butrint avec ses vestiges et son parcours ombragé.

Der Ausflug war super toll. Unser Guide war Mega sympathisch, lieb und hat alles toll erklärt. In der deutschen Gruppe waren wir nur zu viert, so hatte es etwas von einer privaten Führung. Butrint ist wirklich sehenswert & Saranda auch. Bisschen mehr Zeit dort wäre toll. Leider war die Information vom TUI Mitarbeiter im Hotel fehlerhaft bezüglich der Hafensteuer (15€ p.P.) Er meinte, das würden die Albaner nach ********** & Laune abkassieren. Es wurde von den Griechen selbst im Bus eingesammelt.

The coffee break should include a pastry or something as some people had been up since 6 without breakfast , the guide was good but could give time for photos whilst at butrint . We only had 35 mins in saranda which does not give you much time to do anything or see much . Overall an interesting trip which we enjoyed but could have some tweaks to make it more enjoyable.

Excellent trip, very well organised. Only issue I had was confirming the collection from the hotel. When I reached out to Tui I was told to check my ticket! The problem was the time was the same for all hotels so I didn’t believe it. It turned out to be more or less accurate. The excursion itself was fantastic.

Really enjoyed the whole tour and knowledgeable guide and the country looked beautiful. Would have loved to stay for a couple of nights. Also, would be nice to be escorted via a rep onto the ferry because it was very confusing boarding and knowing which boat to board and people at the port were not that helpful in terms of guiding. Some were telling you to get on, others were telling you to go back. Nobody advised, that is your boat over there.

Albania is a beautiful country and it felt like a privilege to be able to pop over for the day from Corfu and see some of it. This trip is brilliant, physically quite demanding, but absolutely worth the money. The guide was really knowledgeable and friendly, the driver was incredible. The best thing we did was go to the top of the castle, the views from there are amazing.

I was honestly hesistant about booking this experience after reading some of the reviews which mentioned long queues at passport control, slow boats, etc. I have to say we had none of that. I travelled with my 3 children, 11, 13 and 16 years, and we absolutely loved every minute of it. It was perfect from start to finish and was a highlight of our time in Corfu. Albania was amazing. The scenery was beautiful, the food was delicious and the people were incredibly nice. Albania is a must-do.

I loved every aspect of this trip, but I wasn't aware of how very much hotter it is in Albania, I suffer at the best of times, also ot stated that it was an 8 hour day, not that I minded , it turned out to be a 12 hour day, , everything went smoothly, I was a bit apprehensive about the port as being on my own and gave never had this experience before, it actually was ok, except the women forgot to hand us our boarding cards after we had already queued, then she did realise, very good

The archeological site was phenomenal, worth the trip alone, lunch buffet was delicious and the service was good. I understand the point of driving to the castle for the view but I think, as a family, we would have rather had more time in the town. The ferries were excellent. So yes great day in Albania, perhaps a tweaking of the times and the 2nd stop.

Very disorganised start nobody seemed to know which ferry was taking us. Hotel for coffee stop not necessary as not enough time at castle last stop. Hotel food poor and kept caged birds in poor conditions. The visit to archaeological site was good and the tour guide very knowledgeable. Views amazing so worth going but not to usual TUI standards. We did arrive back at hotel in time for dinner after a long wait in passport control Corfu.

Trip description stated 8 hrs. We were gone over 13. We spent a total of 6hrs in Albania, the rest of the trip was spent travelling. (3hrs on the coach on the way back) Albania was great, however the trip description was misleading, travel was too long. I am quite disappointed in how this was organised. Pretty poor. What a shame as the tour was very good.

The coach journey took longer than expected, and breakfast was non existent- aside from this no complaints. Albania was beautiful, the visit to the ancient ruins in Sarande was exceptional, and drinks overlooking the Ionian Sea were perfect. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and was an asset to the tour. Be careful with your phones, switch to airplane mode. I made the mistake of roaming in the restaurant we had lunch at and it cost me £41!!

Overall this was a good day trip. The visit to Butrint was a highlight, as was the amazing view from the old castle high up in Sarande. The lunch was also very nice and the guide extremely knowledgeable. The journey to Albania was on a comfortable, high speed Hydrofoil, taking 40 minutes. However the return journey was dreadful. We were put on a very old, very slow, 1 hour 40 m and very uncomfortable car Ferry. The seats were wooden, engine fumes overpowering, very packed. Horrible experience.

TUI staff must provide clearer information. We were expecting a TUI coach to collect us from the hotel, but instead, a local coach arrived. This lack of communication is unacceptable and needs to be addressed. It is also important to emphasise that this trip poses challenges for individuals with limited mobility needs.

Picked up 20 minute walk from where we are staying yet the mini bus passed the end of our road to collect others! At drop off to the port the driver pointed us in the direction of a building. No one there from Finkas to tell us and another party what to do. So queued to be told we needed boarding passes. Finally found someone and joined a long queue again! The coffee and lunch from the same hotel was awful and when there would have been plenty of other options Water should be provided

We wasn’t given much guidance at Corfu port. We were shown the queue for passport control, but not told what to do once we got through. It was all very unorganised with large crowds going to different boats and for an organised tour, I would expect there to be someone to help. Thankfully there was on the Albania side. The tour was very good and the guide was very knowledgeable. Not sure why we stopped for coffee at the start, but lunch was good.

Butrint en Saranda verrassend leuke plaatsen in Albanië. Goede gidsen in Albanië met name de Duitse gids is een vriendelijke, aardige en komische man. De terug reis naar Corfu is met een ferry boot, dat wisten wij niet.

Our guide (young lady, didn't know her name) was fantastic. Spoke French and English fluently & switched between them to give superb commentary with loads of info about Albania & it's history as well as Butrint & the castle we visited. Saranda was great, a well developed port with old architecture but loads of new bars & restaurants etc. too. The Albanian people spoke great English & were very welcoming. Only thing we didn't like was the ferries, they stink of diesel the whole journey.

Excellent day trip. There was some confusion re pick-up; would suggest a notice board in Reception. The hotel is an hour from the port but good journey. We went to Albania on a Hydrofoil which was a novel experience and glad we did it. Our Guide was fantastic; professional and knowledgeable. The Archeological site at Burint was fascinating and so was seeing the tiny ‘look out’ bunkers from the Cold War. Saw great scenery (also town looks poorly constructed)Sad stray dogs, so please be aware.

Sehr Empfehlungswert! Wir haben erstaunt wie sauber, schön, und interessant Albanien ist. Vorhinein war kompliziert, keinen Möglichkeit Kontakt mit TUI aufzunehmen, wegen Passkontrolle und den Hafenbehörde. Boat hinüber war viel zu warm und leider hat unser Bus in Albanien kein richtiges Klima Anlage. Aber wir haben ein tolle führer gehabt. Er hat es so interessant gemacht.

Missed breakfast as early pick up. Lunch quite late. Visit to Butruit good. I ignored advice about mobility and suffered for it so many steps up and down of varied sizes. Coffee stop not great if gluten free as lots pastries on offer. Be prepared for a long day but worth it

The reps need to tell people before booking the trip that there is a port tax of 15 euros to pay per person before you get off the coach & it has to be cash. Also we were told we were able to get a breakfast bag as it was early but the hotel does not provide this !! The rep does need to find out the information first to pass on correct information As far as the tour goes it was exceptional myself & best friend throughly enjoy it & our tour guide was fantastic very knowledgeable.

A fantastic cultural experience we felt we could not afford to miss. It was a full day, Butrint, what a treat, lunch, it was OK, but we were rushed having only 40 minutes to queue and eat it. We were taken to an old fort to enjoy the view, then to the town of Sarende for some fee rime, that was nice, however we were rushed back to the boat and our guide could not get away quickly enough, she did not look out for some of the party who were struggling

Really enjoyed our trip to Albania. Ferry took approximately 1hr from Corfu. We were met by the guide who was amazing and very knowledgeable, Lots of hotels being built there so looks like they are hoping to be a tourist destination. The tour we were taken on was very informative and hotel for lunch was lovely. Overall a great experience, would highly recommend.

Es war für mich schwierig über die Tui App zu buchen. Kein Ansprechpartner und keine TUI Info im Hotel Sunset. Wir sind letztendlich zum Tui Büro in Potamos gelaufen, wo man uns auch ohne Kreditkarte sehr behilflich war,um den Ausflug zu buchen. Auch in der heutigen Zeit ist nicht jeder Mensch in der Lage sich digital zurecht zu finden. // Der Guide in Albanien war hervorragend. Sehr gutes Wussen nicht nur über Butrint. Super!

Der Ausflug hat trotz stömenden Regens stattgefunden, was wegen des Weges (sehr stolprig) im Nationalpark fahrlässig war. Es gab keinen festen Leiter, man wurde durch viele Hände gereicht, daher war alles sehr hektisch in der Organisation und man fühlte sich unsicher. Im Bus wurden 3 Sprachen übersetzt - sehr anstrengend. Der deutschsprachige Guide war sehr empathisch und lustig.

I really did enjoy the experience the guide was fantastic and really knew her stuff and the trip was mostly effortless. However i would say the following should be advertised when booking the trip - it is a really long trip and is not meant for those with young children - we saw there were young children present and whilst they were well behaved you could see them getting tired quite easily. The other recommendation is this - advertise beforehand where you are going names etc. Allow time to shop

Eine Tour nach Albanien gehörte zu unserer Planung. Buchung erfolgte im Hotel problemlos. Die Fahrt mit dem Tragflachenboot war ein Erlebnis. Unser Reiseleiter Martscha(?) hat auf lustige Art und Weise sehr viel vom alten und neuen Albanien berichtet. Die gesamte Tour war sehr gut organisiert. Es ist auch noch genügend Zeit für Shopping, Kaffee und Eis geblieben.

Enjoyed the experience and the tour guide was fab. She was very informative however my only disappointment was the time it took to come back to our hotel. We caught the ferry at 4pm and got back to our hotel at 8.40pm whereby there was hardly any food left for our evening meal. I have taken pics and unfortunaly this was a poor ending to a lovely adventure.......

Leuk: alles mooi op tijd. De gids was heel duidelijk in wat ze van ons verwachtte. Ze vertelde over de chauffeur dat hij erg bedreven was en we niet bang hoefden te zijn. De chauffeur reed inderdaad voorzichtig. Er werd voldoende uitleg gegeven over wat we gingen zien, geschiedenis, etc. Minder leuk: het eten was niet echt lekker. De koffie en thee was niet te drinken. Minder leuk: de thee en koffie was echt niet te drinken. Het eten was ook niet lekker.

The trip across from Corfu was on a hydrofoil which didn't take long. We were met at the port by our English speaking guide and boarded the bus. Very soon we had a short stop for coffee and we were on our way again. Butrint National Park is a beautiful site with plenty of history and stunning views. Again, we were led by our tour guide. Return to Sarande for the buffet lunch followed by free time. Sadly many of the shops were shut at this time. Return ferry was a much slower ferry but still nice

Der Reiseleiter war sehr Kompetent in Bezug zu Butrint freundlich und sehr gut zu verstehen. Auch dass er uns noch die Möglichkeit gegeben hat auf Die Burg über Saranda zu besuchen fanden wir gut. In der Stadt Saranda wird zwar sehr viel gebaut aber aber Urlaub wollte ich zur Zeit dort nicht verbringen. Das Land ist im Gegensatz zu Korfu doch sehr karg und und rückständig.

Enjoyed it all little bit more time at places but we had a rude passenger that seemed drunk and was late everywhere she went and she really didnt care she was rude to the guide and the guide was really professional about it i felt sorry for her i know i would have shouted back and offended her that eoman needed putting in her place and needed to buy a one to one guide which o think she thought she had her own private butler apart from the ladies rudeness it was a really lovely experience lovedit

Generally a well organised trip, pick up in Corfu could have been a little better, the bus could have had a sign with the TUI trip title in the window. Ferry crossing was simple and the pick up in Albania was good, our guide was exceptional, it was a mixed English / French group but the guide spoke excellent English and French. Interesting places and a good dialogue from the guide, she was very approachable and friendly. Return trip was seamless. Only downside was the Greek passport checks.

Throughly enjoyed this trip the quide was excellent we learnt so much about the history of Albania. Everything was explained in great detail. The only issue we had was getting back through customs at Corfu it was a free for all I was being pushed here and there. The system is totally unfair my husband did mention it to a lady waiting at Corfu customs and all she could say ( I know) .

The trip was the long day we expected, but to be honest the ferry journeys both way were enjoyable and relaxing. The whole Albanian experience was an extremely positive one, the country looks to be thriving witb investment going on. Our guide for the day was really friendly and knowledgeable. The trip to Butriet was excellent, although the walk around the site could be challenging for those with poor fitness. The meal included was excellent at a really nice luxury hotel. A Fantastic day out.

Ich wurde pünktlich im Hotel abgeholt und zum Hafen gebracht. Die Passkontrolle verlief in ca. 15 Minuten. Unser Guide sprach gut deutsch und gab uns viele Informationen zum Land und zu der Umgebung. Es gab in Albanien eine Kaffeepause in einem Hotel. Dort wurde später auch ein qualitativ schlichtes Buffet geboten. Diese Zeit hätte ich persönlich lieber mit dem Kennenlernen des Landes verbracht. Butrint war lohnenswert.

Zuviel Zeit vertrödelt mit Pausen. Frühstückspause unnötig, da man das auf der Fähre machen konnte. Da hätte man lieber mehr vom Land gesehen. Auf dem Weg zur Ausgrabungsstätte keine Foto-Stopps gemacht. Man musste während der Busfahrt fotografieren, was natürlich nicht funktioniert hat. Sehr schade!

Pickup really wasn't great, eaten to death by mosquitoes, on the rain & even the driver didn't know if we should be on the bus or not. Not a good start, why not have a name checklist so at least everyone knows. The others tours had a guide with them for the full day, much better, especially with how much money we paid.

Enjoyed learning about the culture and history. My wife didn't enjoy queuing for the toilets for 20 minutes only to find they didn't flush. Similarly for lunch 40 minutes wasn't enough because of the ladies toilet queue. Surprisingly the border controls either side went better than expected. I think people should also be aware of the walking involved at Butrint. .

This trip to Albania was very enjoyable, we were looked after by our guide Milto. He was a perfect gentleman all day long but he did struggle to get time to talk to us on the coach due to the German guide talking for long periods. The day was well planned with visits, travelling on the coach/ferry and lunch but a lot of time was wasted at Corfu passport control in both directions , this was the worst part of the trip. I would recommend taking a jacket and comfy shoes, due to weather changes.

Pour l'Albanie seule je mettrai 10 tant pour les sites que pour le guide. mais pour le transfert du club au port de corfou nous étions livres a nous même dans le bus le chauffeur désagréable nous a donne une carte sans rien . une guide anglaise est montée dans le car nous fait un lagus en anglais ( désolés car personne ne parlait anglais ) donc on se savait même pas ou aller. on a suivi le troupeau.....et on s'est aperçu que la carte au bateau.le soir le bus nous a largués sur la route sans

Die Ausgrabungsstätte war interessant, aber viel zu lange. Von den Orten haben wir zu wenig gesehen,weil die Zeit zu knapp war und so kein Eindruck möglich war. ESSEN war gut. Durch die Passkontrollen haben wir 1h verloren, die uns dann für Eindrücken fehlte.

Le guide était parfait et les visites très intéressantes.reste à améliorer le transport du retour, chauffeur pas aimable et nous avons dû attendre un autre groupe au milieu du trajet pendant 40 minutes,soit 4 heures pour rentrer .le repas était bien cuisiné mais l'hôtel aurait pû faire un effort sur le dessert:une pomme , c'est peu attentionné

Die Transferzeit zum und vom Hafen mit zu vielen Stopps in sehr schmalen Zufahrten war sehr nervig und anstrengend. Bus schmutzig, muffiger Geruch, Reiseleiterin? telefonierte nur laut.Erst hatte man vergessen uns die Boardkarte auszuhändigen obwohl die Buchungsbestätigung eingesammelt und die Hafengebühr bezahlt wurde, somit wurden wir zuerst nicht zum Schiff durchgelassen und mussten die Mitarbeiterin suchen, mit 2 anderen. Der Busfahrer, Bus und Guide vor Ort in Albanien waren jedoch super.

When our Rep sold us the trip she didn't give us very much information. The pick up from the hotel was late,en route to Corfu port it became apparent some people were on the wrong bus. The group sizes were too big and queues for passport control and ancient monument site were chaotic. Coffee stop was too short given the number of people in the 2 groups at the stop, same with lunch, both stops were rushed and only just had time to drink a coffee or eat if you were near the back if the queue.

What a wonderful trip to Albania . The ferry only took 1 hour and the scenery was beautiful. Comfortable coach and our tour guide was lovely, approachable and spoke very good English. Lovely buffet lunch and the tour was full on .Good value for money as this was an all day trip

Arrivé en Albanie, nos guides ne nous donnent pas d’indications sur le bus à prendre. Visites écourtées suite à des bouchons donc juste visité une demi partie du site de l’UNESCO et temps libre en ville réduit. Pour finir le tout au retour en crête passage aux douanes une heure et demie d’attente car juste un douanier pour contrôler les passeports. ********** de temps de perdu en bouchons et douane bien dommage.

Organisation a bit chaotic on the Corfu side (lack of communication more than anything) but very good once in Albania itself. Tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and brought the experience to life. Interesting historic ruins in a very unique location and well worth the visit. Be sure to bring lots of water if visiting in summer - it's very hot and humid.

It was a great trip to Albania, the day was very long which perhaps could have been made clearer on the website but for me it was fine (picked up at 7.30am and returned to hotel at 8pm), this was mainly due to the long queue at passport control at the port. The lunch included was at the perfect time and there were many good views. The tour guide I believe called Linda? Was amazing and so passionate about her country, she made the day which could had felt too much at times perfect!

The trip was good value for money. The guide in Albania was very knowledgeable about the city of Sarande and the other areas of the trip. The buffet meal in the hotel for lunch was very good and had something for everyone. We had 50 mins to explore which was ample due to the temperature that day.

Didn’t get enough time for the museum. There was confusion at the entrance to the ruins, so many people and we got left behind not knowing that the guide was already through. We did get caught up and the tour was good to do. When we got off the boat coming back, our bus wasn’t there and we had to wait not really knowing what was happening, we waited about 15 minutes. It was a long day but it was good to get so much packed into the day and we enjoyed it all, thankyou.

Der Guide war exzellent! Sehr freundlich, höflich und extrem kompetent - ein wandelndes Lexikon. Nicht nur das großartige Weltkulturerbe Butrint betreffend sondern auch Albanien generell. Einziges kleines Manko: Ein TUI-Ansprechpartner am Schiffsterminal wäre sehr hilfreich gewesen. Man fühlt sich doch etwas verloren... Von mts war jemand da. Vielleicht könnte die Kollegin sich zukünftig ja auch um die TUI-Reisenden kümmern?

It was a good trip. Albania feels like an up and coming destination. The people were very friendly and accommodating. It’s just a very long day and make sure you have all your documents in order. Also, read the small print: on top of the TUI ticket fee, there is a Greek port tax which cost us (two UK adults and a child) 45 Euros. Other families (I think with different passports) had to pay a LOT more up to 180 Euros. Passport control was also slow and tedious now the UK isn’t in the EU…

Loved it all except for a few travelling to and from the port transport issues. The guide “Linda” and the driver on Albania side were both fantastic and made the tour really interesting from a historical perspective. All aspects of the tour were wonderful with fabulous landscapes to see and lunch was an enjoyable experience too. Boat across the Ionian Sea was stunning. The morning bus getting us to the Port on Cofu side was a bit haphazard as bus kept stalling etc etc..

Guide francophone très aimable, courtois et compétent. Mais trajet aller rallongé par un arrêt et attente dans le bus de 20 mn sans explication (attente d autres touristes ?). Attente en outre assez longue au contrôle de police (environ 30 mn) au port de Corfou mais la déléguée Lookea avait prévenu. Le guide a déploré que nous ayons 45 mn de ********** à l arrivée à Saranda (raison du ********** pas claire) et en conséquence la visite de Butrint a été faite au pas de charge, dommage.

I booked a day trip with Tui but Tui did not provide the trip. There was no rep. from Tui evident. This led to major confusion. If we had been aware that this trip had been organised by a third party we would have felt more secure. Tui have let us down badly. Very poor communication and service. We enjoyed the hydrofoil, return ferry, Butrint, the guide was excellent, Sarande was interesting. Although the food and service at the Mediterrane Hotel was good, myself and wife were really upset to see a solitary large bird caged in a very small, filthy cage. The bird's tail wings were damaged. It had no stimulation other than being able to move right and left on a single perch. Could TUI influence the hotel to improve the conditions for this poor bird - a bigger cage, more perches, mirrors.

The overall experience was very goog. A lot packed in in a short time. My only criticism would be the transport. The coaches both sides of the sea trip were old and the air conditioning minimal. Also it would have been a better experience if the sea voyage was by hydrofoil both ways.

The time spent queueing at Passport Control both leaving and entering Corfu took too long. More staff were needed to cope with the number of passengers. I and the group I was with, did not particularly enjoy our time in Sarande, however, it allowed us to sit and view the resort. I knew we had to pay for drinks but I felt water should have been provided with our lunch. We bought beers and felt we were 'somewhat cheated' paying more in euros than we expected!!! However, Butrint was amazing.

On the ferry crossing over to Albania myself and my two daughters had to stand for 1.5 hours due to no seats being available. The ferry was small and there was about 10-12 people having to stand. My ankles and feet had started swelling and by the end of the trip it was painful to walk. We had brought water with us but then ran out and unfortunately we were not able to buy any until the end of the ruins tour. I suffered for the next couple of days with swollen ankles and feet.

Un guide albanais francophone merveilleux, une perle ! Pendant tout le trajet, il nous a raconté plein de choses intéressantes sur son pays et les sites visités. Il est cultivé et adorable. Le site archéologique de Butrint est impressionnant, mes filles ont adoré. La ville balnéaire de Saranda est très soignée, cela vaut le coup. Les formalités douanières étaient un peu longues, à l'aller comme au retour. Mais c'est un très bel aperçu d'un pays méconnu.

The lunch was nothing special and we had little time to explore on our own (40 mins). We had a fast ferry there and a very slow one back making it almost a 12 hour day. I had difficulties at the port leaving Corfu as they wanted written permission from my children's Father before letting me take them on the ferry. The way they handled it was embarrassing and stressful, they even took our passports off me and demanded I call him (it was 6.30am UK time) This could easily been avoided if tui had made me aware of this when booking the trip. However everything else about the trip was excellent and our guide in Albania was great

Extremely good guide, the young man was knowledgeable about the history of this beautiful island so made the island tour most enjoyable for us. The only downside was on returning to Corfu the passport control seemed to be overwhelmed by the amount of people waiting to go through. We were waiting for approximately 50 minutes possibly longer with people still in long queues following us. No cover from the sun, there were some very young children among the passengers too.

The early start caused a problem with breakfast as it was not served until after we left. The coach driver gave cause for alarm as after he had pick us up he regularly took his hands off the steering wheel and wave them around. The vehicle had to be pulled back into the lane. The driver again shouted to several persons as we passed. We arrived at the port in one piece. The experience in Albania went above and beyond our expectations. On return we had the same coach driver. and the same problems

Belle excursion. Lors de la réservation le représentant Tui nous a dit qu’il y aurait qui parlerai français. Notre guide ne parlait que l’anglais. Lors du retour à Corfou avec près de 400 personnes il n’y avait que 2 guichets à la douane. Nous avons dû attendre presque une heure. Pour favoriser le tourisme les autorités ne font rien !!!

It was a great tour the guide was very informative he told us a lot about Albania that we never knew . The national park was amazing we loved it you do need your walking legs . Just a few notes to be caution our guide was brilliant but tended to rush off and we wonder which way he turned he got to where he needed to be and we played catchup. The biggest problem was no public toilets anywhere you had to use hotels or big restaurants and had to make a purchase I was turned away ??

Great day trip to Albania. Very knowledgeable guide. Excellent lunch at a 4 star hotel. Only bad point 90 minute's to get through passport control coming back, absolutely crazy. Would also like to know why we had to pay 15 euros per person to TUI for a port tax when we spoke to other English tourists who were doing the trip independently said they didn't have to pay any port tax??

Wouldn't go back. Nice to see but not my type of place. Terrible coffee ( everywhere) probably be a bit like Benidorm in 50 years. Not too many women around. Was told a lot of the shops are fronts for money laundering. It looks like it!

Good guides in Albania. Poor quality PA system on coach. We stopped twice at Hotel Mediterrane, (coffee/lunch). There were two cages containing parrots and other birds, one cage was crammed with around 30 birds. V unpleasant. My trip = 14+ hours (06.45 to 21.00), but we only spent a rushed 90 mins in the main site - Bumrint. I had to dash around the fab museum in less than 5 mins. Just 15 mins at the 2nd site then 70 aimless mins in Saranda. Timings aren’t right. Customs on return took an hour.

The visit to the archaeological site was excellent. The coffee break/comfort stop was good but lunch after the visit was good but very, very rushed as 2 coachloads of visitors were given only 45 mins to serve themselves from a long buffet, eat the meal and use the rest rooms. The final 30 mins of the day given for shopping would have been better tagged on to lunch. The total trip lasted nearly 14 hours as passport control was slow, then we had to wait a long time for the coach to leave.

Heritage site was very interesting and well guided. The lunch buffet at the hotel was excellent. However I thought the excursion was extended too much by the trip to the viewpoint above Sarande.

Rückkehr nach Corfu: fast eineinhalb Stunden Wartezeit stehend vor der Passkontrolle in der Hitze ist ein Unding. Der Ausflug selbst sehr interessant

Balagan przy odprawach ,przy podziale na grupy jezykowe, Przy powrocie przed odprawa przewodnika brak,brak dalszej informacji o nr. Autokarów powrotnych (,po czasie pojawily sie kartki z nazwami hoteli).inne wycieczki mialy przwodnikow do konca którzy kierowali sprawnie grupy do odprawy zbiorowej,do autokarów itp.
