The park itself is fantastic and the organisation from TUI was excellent. My only comment would be that there was a heavy sell on the bus for the add on activities for over an hour. The busses were very good and comfy.

The transfer picked us up at the hotel at 7:20am and arrived approx 7:40 at the park even though didn’t open 8:30am. We were just left and not told anything regarding return transfer meeting pointing etc. luckily the Staff at xelha were really helpful and gave the info we needed We were first at the park so ended up xompleting the park well before the 6pm pick up time and had to pay for a private transfer back.

This is our 2nd trip to Xel-HA with TUI. It's just such a great day out - pick up, drop off, towels, lockers, snorkels and all-inclusive food an drink - THE BEST margarita's!! TUI voucher gets you 50% off the EXTRAS - we picked the photo package - well worth it - be aware there are other experiences that are addon at a cost. There is enough to do at leisurely pace without those! One for water babies or budding marine biologists ;-)

We left our belongings (where the train turned) in the green area in lock up bags . We used the lazy river and exited by the zip line steps walked up the hill back to the green area in lock up showed the man my number he had written on my wrist band . He said it’s not here it’s in the chequered area By the entrance . He said it’s not here it’s been moved . We panicked because it was getting close to are coach coming and we were very wet and needed to get changed . Why move as Still manned !

We enjoyed the experience overall however when you purchase the tickets it refers to everything all inclusive when this is not the case, we spent an additional amount for the photo package and one additional experience which was not included The Sea Trek a total additional amount of £160 this makes this experience very expensive indeed

Het is een leuk park, met leuke activiteiten. Wij waren met 2 volwassenen en het was een hele rustige dag. Daardoor hadden we aan het begin van de middag alles al kunnen doen en zien. Het was voor ons echter wel erg lang wachten voordat de bus weer vertrok (18u). Het is vrij prijzig, dat is niet het grootste probleem (want eten en drinken geïncludeerd), maar voor veel activiteiten moet je extra betalen, wat vrij kostbaar is, dat is wel jammer.

Everything was wow, except the smallest little things which is nature- the sargassum was thick in the cenote & did sting the body & smelled yuck on the way to enjoying the cave. If this could be cleared, everything will be absolutely perfect 🤩 10/10

The birds were eating the food straight from the buffet. The staff saw and did nothing, didn’t chase the birds away or replace the food. They were dipping their beaks straight into the sauces on the salad bar. Food poisoning waiting to happen. I understand it’s a natural environment and I have no issue with the birds flying around the restaurants, it’s actually quite beautiful. I don’t understand why the food isn’t covered though. We barely ate that day after witnessing this.

Loved the freedom of being able to grab your own life jacket and snorkel from various stations around the park and enjoy the facilities. No queues ! Plenty to fill your day, access to self serve drink stations and food was lovely with plenty of choice. Only downside for us was we particularly spoken with out TUI rep about swimming with Manatees yet when we got there the Manatee area was unable due to construction this was not made aware to us on booking. We had a great day and would recommend.

A family of 4 for the day at Xel-Ha including swimming with dolphins was almost £1000. Tickets were approx £350, additional cost of £280 (we got it half price, otherwise it would've been £560), then to purchase the photos of the swim with dolphins started as approx £400 unless you bartered the price down to a more reasonable amount. This was not explained at the time of booking this trip, a very very missold activity with severe additional costs not explained

Great full day and early arrival made sure we saw it all. Little confusion with pick up bus stop number. Told number 9 stop, but our bus was at 15. Bus drivers very helpful to sort it out. Took the brave step and rode the 360 water slide. But just good to climb and walk down again the view is amazing.

Beautiful park and very friendly staff. However, transportation was terrible — a 1-hour trip took nearly 3 due to multiple stops and a chaotic transfer. Extremely crowded, long lines, gross food, and poorly maintained snorkel gear (leaky masks, broken straps). For the premium price, we expected better organization, higher food quality, and properly maintained equipment. Would arrange private transport next time. Overall 3/5 stars

Overall trip was really good, morning breakfast was quite bad cold food on a cold morning even the hot food was cold, waiting staff not the greatest, lunch food was okay and slightly better staff in that lunch restaurant, in regards to overall staff barely saw any as well as guides so very self exploration based, and few things were chargeable that we didn't know were chargeable which was a shame based of the amount we paid

The snorkel masks were not nice, kept leaking and fogging up. We would have preferred a mask and valve separate rather than the full face mask. The changing rooms were awful, not enough space and no separate place to dry and change we had to use a toilet cubicle. Apart from that we really enjoyed it, the whole area was clean and tidy, the food was ok. We would go again.

Der Park ist Klasse und nach einiger Zeit findet man sich auch zurecht. Man sollte schon einen Bezug zum Wasser haben und z.B. gerne schnorcheln. Das geht hier problemlos. Überall sind auch Rettungswesten vorhanden. Sehr schöne Umgebung mit viel Grün und tollen Wegen zum spazieren gehen. Einzig der "Begleiter" der Agentur konnte nicht mithalten. Schlechtes und zu schnelles Englisch. Man verstand fast nix. Und bei der Ankunft war er verschwunden. Keine Tipps, kein Weg zum Eingang gezeigt.nix

Xel Ha was an amazing experience... we visited 20 years ago and we're not disappointed.. Unfortunately we we're given incorrect information regarding the transport aspect of the trip.. We were advised the pick up time was 6.50am, we were collected then sat in the coach for 45 mins as the next pick up was not till 7.40, not 2km away. We ended up paying for a taxi back to our hotel as the collection time was different to the advertised return time..

The moment we got on the bus the guide was selling the additional experiences at the park. I asked what we got in wifh the price I had already paid of over £400 and he said nothing really just swimming and snorkling it will take an hour to do everything free and then you will be bored for the rest of the day. He played a guilt trip on everyone about memories v’e material things. When we arrived at the park he told us if we didn’t book our experiences straight the way we wouldn’t get to do them.

We went on this trip (single mum, 14year old and 3 year old. There was so much to do there and to explore. The additional things to do were limited as my youngest was to little to do the activities other than dolphins which we did at our hotel. The food was ok, we did find an American style food place which was better for my kids than the two Mexican restaurants. Lockers were great and free, life jackets everywhere to wear. Only downside is the river activity does not take you back to the start.

Food and drink was included with the ticket price which was a great positive. We also received 20% off because we booked another trip alongside this one - made the value more worthwhile. We also received 50% off our photo package but only found this out by reading through the small print on the ticket. TUI could have highlighted this as a further positive selling point. Slight improement would be to highlight that a lot of the activities once inside are at an extra cost.

We found the trip to be over expensive especially as u had to pay for other things ,pictures ,fast boat ,cycle zip wire etc ,we paid £240 for both of us and with all the add ons this would have worked out a lot of money for 1 day trip if we had paid for these ,dont get me wrong the place is cool all the other trips are also expensive espcially for 1 day and if we done most of them that would have added a substantial amount of cost ,I feel for family's the cost would be ridiculous for most trips.

This is an extremely unique experience which was well explained on the coach by a member of staff. There are several offerings at Xel-Ha. We opted to pay for the seawalk and it was an incredible experience for somebody that hasn't done this before. Overall, I cannot recommend visiting more.

Bei den stets zu tragenden Rettungswesten muss man aufpassen, dass nicht an allen Orten alle Größen vorhanden sind. Die Ausgabe ist Selbstbedienung und man sollte darauf achten, dass alle Verschlüsse intakt sind. Das Essen ist gut und bietet ausreichend Auswahl. Es gibt verschiedene Attraktionen, die zugebucht werden können. Wir haben das nicht gemacht und hatten ausreichend Spaß.

We wernt able to purchase our pictures via the app. Spent over 2 hours trying with Sam the tui representative but were prevented to get our pictures. This was a big disappointment which overshadowed our holiday. Paid for a 2nd set of pictures at a 2nd park and was unable to download because the park had cancelled these. Everything else was good. We had to walk away from our pictures because park website kep declining our cards- we tried three different cards and even converted out uk bank to che

I think the entire day is quite expensive for what it is... BUT we loved it. We didn't stop all day. We paid extra to do the PowerSnorkle which was AMAZING! Our guide Victor was so good(he apologised for his poor English as we stared, and then spoke great English) he was a bit of a fish-whisperer and showed us fish we wouldn't have spotted ourselves. The photo package was worth it (more so as it had 50% off). Overall a fantastic day, buy reef safe suncream before hand though!!

The whole park experience was wonderful even during a downpour. TUI need to update information given at time of booking, we were not told we would need ID before boarding the bus at the hotel, this did cause delays for some people s they had to go back to their room for the required ID. We enjoyed our experience it was amazing, however we did not know about the extra costs of the experiences once you got into the park and then there also extra cost if you would like photos as we could not use our own camera. In terms of the venue and activities is fantastic however if you want to swim with dolphins the cheapest package is 260 US Dollars and then you are not even able to take your own photos and have to pay “extra” along with this if you want to take photos at the top of the light house you can unless again you pay extra. I have paid over £190 to come here.. I should at least be able to take a photo of the activities I’m doing.

Having been 20 years ago I dont think it's now value for money as all the coral is now dead due to climate change so it's not much of a snorkeling experience it once was for that reason alone I don't feel it was worth spending over £600 for the family. It was expensive. You would think the entrance fee per person for the excursion was reasonable value, but when you get there they sell you all the stuff that's not included. The extras are premium rides around 100 dollars, photo package is 50 dollars.... The only rides we went on were the paid rides....... Overall it's a nice place but be prepared to hammer there credit card on arrival.

The activities that did come with the price were all done in the morning, so had to wait around all afternoon to be picked up. Should be an option for a half day if you don’t want to pay an extortionate amount for the extras. If I had known I wouldn’t have picked this excursion.

Very little sea life or coral. Water is not clear enough for good snorkeling. Late pick up and late return after being told to be on time. Snorkeling gear is not the best. Kept fogging up. I would dissuade anyone from going to Xel-Ha if they really want to see clear water with more sea life and beautiful sea vegetation and coral like I gave in other tours and locations. Waste of time and money here

Food was very bland and i have been absolutely ill with food poisoning and ended up getting a taxi home due to this the excursion in my eyes was not exactly what i was told - false advertising, we got told there were dolphins that were extra expense after paying the premium tickets all inclusive it was not explained very great, the activities were very basic and not very enjoyable maybe for children not really as a couple sort of excursion and the dolphins were enclosed in very small exclosure

A mind blowing day. At first a little confusing about where the entrance and process of working out the extras and timings. The 50 % discount on activities booked with the Tui do not think that it was applied. We swam with the manatees which was amazing and Marcos and Yesenia were knowledgeable kind and caring. We did the zip bikes loved it, it was tougher than we had imagined, cenotes great. Changing rooms lockers and restaurants good, Lazy river very long took time. Two snorkels leaked!

Everything was good except for having to pay for the add ons as it's an expensive day anyway. The dolphin experience was awesome yet the cost of the photos very excessive. We would have loved the photos but they were far too expensive for our budget, we'd already spent over £400 on the trip including dolphins so an additional £120 for the photos was not possible for us. They even offered them at a reduced rate and pressure into buying them which we really didn't like.

DO NOT BOOK WITH TUI! We sat outside the main lobby to our hotel from before 7am as our pickup was at 7am. We sat there for an hour, waiting for our names to be called or the trip to be called. Several vehicles turned up, all of which we checked as to where they were going. One for chichen itza, and several for airport transfers. Xel-ha itself was a lovely day lots to do although I must say being stuck to being picked up at 5.30pm felt a long time for us and we were ready to leave at 3. You start your day at 8 there lots to do and it’s absolutely beautiful. Tui recently changed there ticket online advertised as includes food (all inclusive drinks and food) but Tui booked just basic ticket so when go there we had to pay for upgrade itself. Tui have refunded this + offered me 10% off experiences (after this won’t use tui)

We booked through the tui rep at the holiday and they were brilliant! This trip was one that they recommended and it definitely lived up to expectations. The transport was easy and convenient picked up straight from hotel and dropped of at the part entrance. The guide on the bus was amazing all information about the park given on the way. The park itself was good, so many different activities and the food and drink was also very good. Definitely recommend to anyone vitsing Mexico!

We enjoyed the underwater helmet experience it was amazing to be up close to the fish and for it to be so easy to participate in. The high speed boat was awesome shining round and going nose first into the ocean was a real adrenaline rush. The bike zip although it was good I thought would have been more like a zip line with slides. But it was OK. The food and drinks were excellent. And so was being able to swim in the sea.

We don’t pay for any additional activities, and we’re still very happy with our day. Dining was easy, and we enjoyed seeing the rays while snorkelling. The scenic lighthouse slide was faster than expected, but my wife reached the bottom disorientated, struggled to surface properly and had to be rescued by one of the two lifeguards who are permanently in the water. We’ve read it has happened to other tourists, so should come with some kind of warning IMHO. It was very scary for my kids to witness

Great full day experience, we also added an extra which was a Dolphin experience which was magical BUT the additional cost for the photos is expensive and you are pushed with buying the photos! More information required for the shower facilities as you do need to take your own shampoo and conditioner. Also should recommend taking swim shoes. Food and drink was great and everything is spaced out so it doesn’t feel busy.

Xel Ha is a unique place to visit. The park itself is beautiful and there is so much to do without having to pay for adding extra experiences within the park. Fantastic day, lovely place but was very much affected by the horrendous snorkel equipment. We have been to xel ha before and have previously scored it a 10 out of 10 but the full face masks are terrible and there is no alternative. Water gets in and they are constantly foggy. It's a real shame. We also changed them 3 times but all were the same, some even had valves missing!. I know this is not a TUI issue but it would make me think about booking again.

The Park is amazing but I would improve it by adding a few more things for under 5s to do. I also felt uneasy about the size of the enclosures for the dolphins and manatees. Whereas the stingrays could seemingly swim freely, the dolphins and manatees were in very small sea pens for their size and the number of animals. Some of the dolphins were showing stereotypical behaviour too, which made me sad, seeing as the dolphin experiences are really marketed as an extra.

My son and myself really enjoyed the visit, especially the “Stingray” interaction and Dolphin Trex, both were amazing. The photography was brilliant, allowing us to partake in the experiences without having to carry a camera around. The only negative experience was that although we arrived around 0900, there was nowhere open till around 1100am to get a cold drink .

The park is absolutely fabulous! You are all inclusive on the day which is great! -Snorkles, towels, food are all included. Things to know - you arrive way before the park opens changing rooms and restaurants aren’t open, which is a little difficult as you have to walk all the way through to find somewhere where you can use a locker and the wait for the restaurant to open.There are no private changing rooms and cameras in the unisex locker rooms, no private areas for females to change.

The park was amazing, there is so much to do and so much to see. The trip could honestly do with being an hour shorter since we were there 8 until 6 and it gets slightly repetitive as there’s only so much snorkelling and tubing you can do.

The admission price does not include many of the activities that you can take part in. Once there you then have to pay £50+ for each activity and this was not made clear to us before we got there. We knew that swimming with dolphins and sting rays were not included but did not know that sea treking; the adrenalina boat and many other things were an additional price. This is a very expensive trip for families.

We were supposed to go on this tour but we were given the wrong departure time by our booking agent Arturo. He said he was given the wrong information. Wednesday weather was much nicer. It rained alot on Thursday which made it a little unpleasant. Not to mention we woke up early to get ready on Wednesday and waited over an hour before we found out we missed the bus due to the misinformation we were given. It wasted part of our day on Wednesday as we have to figure out what to do.

Liked snorkelling but the masks provided were awful. They misted up immediately on use. Very poor quality which made the snorkelling less enjoyable and more difficult. Children liked the lighthouse slides. This was efficiently run. We also loved the fast food restaurant. There were good choices and the food was excellent.

Loved the mixture of free activities. They kept us busy all day. Great smaller restaurant we had lunch in. The water slide was brilliant. The manta rays came and joined us for a swim (their choice) Loved the river and lagoon and snorkelling was amazing. The cenotes were a disappointment as you were unable to swim in all but the tiny one. Otherwise a day I will never forget for all the right reasons

It is a beautiful natural water park. For a foreigner, it would have been helpful to clarify that each paid activity has storage for our valuables. Also, my family and I booked 3 activities in the afternoon. The Delphinus was our first activity and it was close to an hour long which isn’t noted. We had to rush to the next activity and missed it. We did the power snorkel for our last activity but it did not start on time. Restaurants should close at 6pm if the park closes at 6pm

This trip is very special. So much to do within one day. Snorkelling with sting rays and Jack fish. Cliff jumping and the lazy river. The only criticism is that the cost of the trip was expensive and TUI customers are only offered discount on the photos and the Sting Ray experience, nothing else. When arriving head for the tower first, later on the queues will be very long. Water shoes are a must and insect repellant. Food & drink all included. Collection at 7.30am so you arrive first to park

There is a lot to do. It is very expensive, however, especially if you want to do the extras. We did the dolphin experience, which was absolutely incredible and something I will never forget.But I was really upset by the extra cos of the photos there. We already paid a lot of money for the day, the pretty much the same again for the dolphin experience. They wanted $199-349 for the photo packages. Very disappointed to not be able to buy any at that price. Otherwise an amazing day.

The whole area was amazing. We loved the rubber rings in the river into the lagoon. We visited most of the activities although not being so young we just watched a lot of them ?? Our only criticism was the swimming masks. We were expecting a mask and snorkel so we left ours at the hotel. What they had was the big face masks that. Over your face. They were useless. Kept steaming up and filling with water. We should have brought our own. Apart from that it was a great day out.

By the time we paid for transportation and all costs, it came to around £450 for a family of four, which is expensive. The food was okay, the location was very good, but it’s not value for money. If I travel next time I’ll arrange my own transportation which via TUI is very expensive

Great place, beautiful! Was quite busy, especially changing rooms. Most things you can do easily without queues but the slide had a 40 min queue went we tried to do it. Really enjoyed our day and we were kept occupied and didn't manage to do everything. The staff temporarily confiscated our reefsafe suncream as it didn't meet their criteria but didn't give us much of theirs to replace it. The dolphins made us sad, far too small enclosures, we couldn't understand why anyone would want to have an interaction in that environment. On pressing the guide said these encounters will soon be no more and the dolphins relocated to the semi wild. Thank goodness.

It was so much fun for everyone.We are a couple in our early 50’s and still found the day out a lovely Mexican experience.So much to do ,very clean.Recommend buying the photo pass as we got 50 great photos to download .Go to the top of the light house( helter skelter) as the views are amazing but if you chose to go down the slide it’s not for the faint hearted , fun and glad we did it but wouldn’t do again??

The park itself is great however I think there could have been more emphasis on what is required to be taken with you. There is a confiscation of sunblocks with certain ingredients which we didn’t know which meant buying their own sunblock which was useless and allowed us to get very burnt. Also the fact they provide towels which would have meant we didn’t need to carry ours too.

Allerdings würde ich beim nächsten mal meine eigene Schnorchelmaske mitbringen. Diese waren teilweise nicht einwandfrei, konnten aber getauscht werden, was wir auch getan haben. Das Essen ist ok.

Staff were great, helpful polite and good service. Breakfast was a bit crazy, mostly local food so fussy eaters might go hungry until lunch. I couldn’t download the app on the day so took us a while to navigate the park without the app but staff pointed us in the right direction. Lots of free lockers so all you stuff was safe, the lazy river took your shoes and any valuables down to a collection point for you to collect at the end which was good. The lighthouse slide was great!

Prachtig park maar beetje te veilig gemaakt. Amerikaans zeg maar want als er ook maar iets mis is dan zullen ze er over zeuren met advocaten. Maakt het wel wat saai wellicht. Mijn zoon kon net ergens niet bij en ze mochten hem niet optillen want dan konden ze hem bezeren. beetje flauw. De aangegeven tijden waren ook wat overdreven. 2,5 uur over een lazy river...2de keer was een kwartier...Eten en drinken was allemaal top.

We paid for priority tickets, but looking back now I'm not sure what extra service we actually received. 1 of the photo spots in particular required climbing over a slippery rock. I slipped, my partner grabbed my hand and stopped me from falling, but slipped himself and took a chunk out of his leg on a rock (still swollen a week later!). I don't recall seeing many staff around anywhere, so would have no idea what to do if we actually needed help at any point.

Great day out, staff all helpful and friendly and lots to do there. My daughter absolutely loved the zip lines, the huge water slide. The food was great, so much to choose from for both breakfast and lunch. I was concerned with the manatees as they are so large and i felt didn't have a large enclosure and also had their own poo floating about. It made me sad that there wasn't enough space for such gentle giants. All in all a lovely day out even though it wasnt cheap

Amazing place and had an awesome day. We especially loved the lazy river floating on the airbed. We did this first thing in the morning on arrival with no people around, later in the day it was very busy and not quite as much fun. The lighthouse waterslide is not for the faint hearted - but it’s great. Excellent food. Highly recommended.

The trip was a little too long, could've been cut by an hour. Also a guide on the coach back to our hotel would've been good as a group of drunken Americans were using the coach microphone to sing into spoiling the trip back as most people just wanted to relax after a long day.

Our rep was a little difficult to get hold of beforehand so we had some unanswered questions that we later figured out for ourselves. The prices at the resort are very high for the experiences so it made the trip super expensive and because of this we could only afford to do one excursion.

Xelha park is brilliant as there is so much to see and do however I would take my own snorkelling mask as the ones provided steamed up straight away. The photo packages are good especially with the TUi discount. I would take watershoes and a UV T shirt.

We absolutely love Xel-ha been twice now, 15yrs apart. The river is still the main attraction & when you’re on it you’ll see why. Coming out of the mangroves certainly has a wow factor. It’s a stunning eco park with beautiful nature walks. You can zip line and cliff jump before heading out to sea. The views are amazing from the lighthouse and the slide ride down, crazy but hilarious. It’s like coming out of a washing machine! We’re pretty sure we swam with barracuda and swam with the stingrays.

I loved everything about Xel-ha, first visited 15y ago and knew I wanted to go back. This time we took our boys aged 11 and 9, they loved it, we went to the slide first, walked along the floating bridge before heading round to the river. We enjoyed all the little extras that we came across during our walk and it felt like we did lots before getting onto the river and adventure area. Just a great day out, restaurants didn’t disappoint either, no improvements required.

The whole place is amazing. Scenery is amazing no matter where you are in the park. Activities that are free are very good and filled the full day. Lazy river was our favourite as easy to hop on to zip lines, cliff dives and rope obstacles. The not so good. Activities that you need to pay for are ridiculously priced and if you have a family can be the same price as the actual ticket again. Restaurants don’t open until 9:30 which we were not told and did not have breakfast before leaving

Prachtig natuur/zwemparadijs om te bezoeken. Je kan er alles van snorkelmateriaal en handdoeken gratis gebruiken, wat al veel plaats maakt in je rugzak. Wat wij persoonlijk niet zo fijn vonden was dat er geen airco in de lockeruimtes/kleedkamers aanwezig was. Het was er heel warm wat niet aangenaam was als je je wil omkleden of afdrogen. Eten en drinken was allemaal inbegrepen en was heel uitgebreid en lekker. Het vervoer was goed geregeld allemaal.

This was a fantastic experience, though any extra activities are so expensive. The tui bus was late and I had to call to find out where he was, this cost me a fortune on my bill. The big slide was great, defined need to do this if you go and we dis the swimming with dolphins, this was absolutely amazing.

Excellent day out and with TUI discount it worked out cheaper than booking direct. Xal Ha coach collected us direct from the hotel lobby, returning after 6pm once the park had closed. Xal Ha is amazing and great fun for all ages, though perhaps not catered for very young children due to height restrictions on zip wires etc.

Guide from xel ha was informative and friendly. However a snack was not included nor was ice cream for children as described. Xel ha was basically a very expensive lazy river unless you are going to spend an extra £200+ on extra activities once there. Lovely scenery but there are a lot better trips (e.g cenotes) which are better value for money.

Alles was im Preis inkludiert war, war sehr schön. Wie bereits erwähnt hätte ich mir gewünscht selbst entscheiden zu dürfen, ob ich schon fit genug für Sea Trek oder Snuba Cenote bin oder nicht. The whole experience in the park, activities and the food, were great! Staff were all amazing apart from a grumpy one directing people to their buses. I was annoyed that there was no mention to bring wet shoes/swim shoes and phone protection pouches, as these proved an expensive outlay on the day and we have these items at home.

Great day doing the snorkeling, zip lines and generally enjoying being in the water. Tui app doesn't mention it but unlimited food and drink through out the day which was all of really good quality. A lot of activities were extra and starting at $40 could make things expensive. We didn't do extras but had a great time enjoying the free activities. Top tip: head straight out for a walk around whilst everyone else stops for breakfast at 9am!

We really enjoyed this experience. It was quite pricey and there were a lot of added extras once you were in the park but you could enjoy the day without paying for any of those. Everywhere was clean and tidy and we ate in 2 of the buffet restaurants, good selection in both and although they seemed really busy we didn't have to wait long for a table. 10/10 day, would highly recommend

No real downside, other than the fact I have no idea what the fast track access refers to - there were no issues with any access, and no “designated” fast track entrances/queues, so think this may be a financial trick!

Pick up was prompt. Little bit of a long journey picking up from other hotels not only our excursion but for other excursions too. Guide spent more time on transfer upselling various items than explaining how/what we needed to know about the park... ie need to get a key for lockers from desk. Whether or not you need to get changed everytime you want something to eat. How to get around park. Foot,bike or mini Park is beautiful and well organised, clean.. food is ok. Staff in restaurant friendly.

So much to do, even without paying for the 'extras' - snorkelling, zip lines, water slide, tropical gardens, walks, the food was great (even an English/American buffet option) and drinks were premium brands. The park is great we've been many times and we love it, the transfer to the park is a different matter. We was the first to be picked up and the last to be dropped off. You are given a time for departure and then left sitting on the bus for nearly an hour ,next time we will take a taxi to the park around 15 minutes away, I recommend you do the same. The park should not be missed it's a great day out.

We visited as a family of 5, kids aged 19, 18 and 17. The whole experience was amazing, there is plenty to do without booking any extras but we opted to do the speedboats (great fun) and the zip bikes. We also bought the photo package which gave us over 100 photos of the day. Taking waterproof phone cases, water shoes and organic bug spray is a must. The changing facilities could be better. From our hotel it was a long transfer to and from axel-Ha but definitely worth it.

We booked in the UK prior to our arrival, we priced this vs the advertised rate on the website of Xel Ha and you were slightly more expensive, but only by a few pounds, so booked with TUI as it was easy to cancel/change if required. However we could have booked this locally in resort for a lot less money. Lesson learnt, we still had a great day out.

This place is amazing, so much to do and suitable for mixed age ranges. My 11 Yr old loved the zip lines and cliff jumps, my 77yr old mum loved the lazy river and my favourite was the caves and the zip lines. We enjoyed the snorkeling and seeing the abundance of fish. Your all inclusive when inside for food and drinks. My son has a food allergy and I was worried about him eating, but wow the food is labelled and the chef spoke to us and he made a special plate of chicken for my son.

Wir waren vor 21 Jahren schon mal dem Park, da konnten wir Korallen, sehr viele Fische endecken. Mittlerweile ist der Park ein gewöhnliche Freizeitpark geworden, der komplett überlaufen ist. Die Fische mussten wir suchen. Was echt schön ist, aber da geht jeder hin, die 30m hoh Rutsche. Bei einer Wartezeit von 90 min sind wir nur einmal gerutscht. Unser Fazit, für uns hat sich der Tagesausflug nicht gelohnt. Von der Reisebegleitung haben wir vor den Toren lediglich den Tipp bekommen,

The park is very family oriented especially for smaller kids, travelling with teenagers and a 5 year old, it can be difficult to find things we all enjoy but you can find this at this park. All food and drinks are included but expect there to be a lot of activities that you can pay for separately, these are all very expensive and cost about the same as the entry to the park.

My son suffered an allergic reaction to food which had no labelling of nuts. He was seen my medical staff who did not act correctly. When someone is having an anaphylactic shock an inflammatory injection will not work. My son could have died. I got a taxi straight back to the hotel where I gave him antihistamines. Absolutely brilliant trip! The tour guide in the drive down was very informative and gave us lots of information about the park and local area! The park itself is absolutely beautiful with lots of activities to do! Food and drink very good and all included! Just VERY sad to see there were dolphins in captivity and offering dolphin swims! This is something that shouldn’t be happening in this day and age!

Xel-Ha itself was incredible - beautiful area, loads of activities and with food included, great value for money. The transfers were okay - I was worried we had no choice of return time and we would want to leave before the time, but in the end the timing was quite good, although we had to wait for everyone to be on board which was past the set time. Would recommend!

Park was amazing. Staff really helpful. I would recommend a little bartering as we got extra experiences for less than the advertised price. My only negative was the transfer journey home. The journey took forever as we went all around the houses for drop offs. You should offer a private transfer at extra cost. The time saving would make it worth the money.

Swimming in the river was a really cool experience. The staff could of been more informative about the picture taking around the park, as they all said you can only purchase those cameras to take pictures at the beginning. However we didn’t purchase those and still ended up taking pictures and being able to purchase them at the end, missed out on a lot of them though due to lack of info. The extra activities are overpriced.

Everyone should visit this place. I am not mad on the water but even I went down the lazy river and went on the zip slides. The kids and my husband did extra experiences - sting ray encounter, manatee experience and scuba diving where the air tanks are controlled from above so no need for PADI certification. The kids loved all these experiences. They are not cheap but where else would you get do this stuff!

Great day out swimming, doing water slides, tubing through mangroves, zip lining and seeing dolphins. Lots to do and good selection of all inclusive restaurants. There's a lot of extras which sound good but cost a lot on top of your entrance ticket.

Super leuk park en erg mooi gelegen. Het eten was redelijk. Verder leuke activiteiten mogelijk alleen vind ik alles prijzig. Kort om leuke dag gehad wel erg druk in het weekend met gezinnen

The park is beautiful. The extra activities that aren’t included are a bit pricey but we had a great time just doing what was included. Would recommend wearing a spf rash guard and sea shoes.

Overall was a good trip, the guide we had was really helpful. When I booked the trip it stated it was 4-8 hours so assumed there may be several coaches taking us back to the hotels and you could choose how long to stay. However, there was only one returning coach which was at 6pm when the park closed. We were there for the park opening, making the day (not including transfer) 9 and a half hours. I had actually booked coco bongo for the same night so we had almost no time to get ready and get back out as the length of the trip was quite mis-leading.

The park was fab. Wasn’t made aware pick up time was 40 minutes later from the hotel or that mask wearing was mandatory. The guide was very rude about this and gave us ‘2 minutes only or we will leave you’ to find masks. Nobody else has brought them either as none of us told

Xel-ha was a great fun day out. Arriving early was good to avoid the crowds that arrived later. We did the lazy river first thing which was nice & quiet - recommend this! We also snorkelled in the lagoon, did the water slide and explored all around including in the cenotes. A great fun and unique day out which we enjoyed! There were 2 small disappointments; we knew the park offered extra activities at cost. The ticket listed some but we thought we would be able to do the rest not captured e.g. zip bike but this wasn't the case. I would recommend making it clear exactly what your ticket offers for the day and list all paid extra activities specifically. Also we hadn't realised our coach back was at 18:00 which meant we would have missed our dinner reservations that night. We decided to get a cab back ourselves as we didn't want to miss this and also felt we had done everything in the park enough by 15:00.

Could be worth calling out that the whilst you’re picked up early (7am) none of the restaurants open till 9.30 so you’ll need a snack to deal with hungry (little) people!! Otherwise the lazy river and just snorkelling among the beautiful fish was great, once we had got over the fact that food wasn’t available for while…

Value for money of the actual park is a 10-10 I have marked it down as it would be much cheaper booking a private taxi each way and paying for park tickets directly with the park rather than booking through TUI.

Thoroughly enjoyed this trip however once you arrive there are lots of activities that are extra. We ended up spending another £400. Could of easily spent 2 days there to do everything. Park staff were excellent & very helpful.

The only fault with the hotel was the service in the buffet but I think they were short staffed. Other than that I can’t fault the hotel. But the service from TUI has been awful, we have tried and tried to complain about the flight delay and flight onboard experience but every time they are bouncing back or saying we weren’t on the flight. My father in law even visited the store and they gave him an email address which we tried but again it was the wrong one according to tui.

Xel-ha was an amazing full day trip. We took advantage of the 50% Tui discount on the photo package and got 120 photos of our day. The extra experience purchases once inside were a bit expensive but there is plenty to do without the need to buy anything else. A full day of fabulous family fun. We had a great day with our 11 year old son. All good and drink included including the bar.

Excursion was good, great transfer on the way to the day. We were staying at Generations Riviera Maya, however our transfer was from El Dorada Royale Lobby (resort next door). Information stated Tui exclusive transfer which was the case in the morning, however on the way back this wasn't the case.....it took us 90 mins to get to the trip but from getting on the coach on the way back was over 2 1/2hrs!! Numerous people were late for the coach, up to 40mins we sat waiting on the coach. We were the last drop off and upon arriving back to El Dorado Royale security would not let the coach in as our room number was not from there resort! Then we went to Generations and they were resistant to let us through as they had no record of us leaving through the gate! Not a good end to an enjoyable day. The return trip was most definitely not Tui exclusive transfer.

Rekommenderar denna utflykt endast för att parken är helt fantastisk men om du är ute efter att snorkla så kan ni glömma det. Vi reste nu i januari 2022 och snorkelutrustningen suger. Man ser ingenting, helt suddigt/grumligt vatten o glasen är värdelösa.. ta med egen!!! Annars är naturen otroligt vacker så det måste man se! Vill man där emot göra några aktiviteter kostar allting. Bada med delfiner kostar , cykla i träden via lina kostar mm. Räkna inte med de 50% rabatt som tui skriver. Detta stämmer absolut inte!! Du kommer inte kunna nyttja dessa på plats. Till oss sa dom att man måste köpa 2 aktiviteter för att ens få ner priset.

La personne qui est venue nous chercher à l'hôtel était plutôt antipathique et parlait très mal l'anglais. Les informations données pour reprendre les touristes après l'activité étaient erronées. Cela étant, l'excursion en elle-même est juste top! Le parc est tout simplement un incontournable à faire si on est dans la région!

This was an amazing experience! The whole say was brilliant. Once you were in the park, you could literally go wherever you wanted and whenever you wanted! The whole river was amazing to float down and so was the snorkeling! Not forgetting the exhilarating feeling of the slide, zip lines and cliff jump! Absolutely awesome day!

My partner and I went to Xel Ha yesterday and it was incredible, loved every second of it despite some heavy rain! The park is run so well and a special shout out to Manny and Sam, our cenote snuba instructors, the experience was amazing and they are brilliant teachers. You must go to xel ha!!
