It needs to be made clear on the list that swimwear is needed It needs to be made clear that you have to pay ‘tax’ on top of the price when you get there Our guide, Ambar was excellent Make sure that people know they need to take water, I nearly passed out due to dehydration at Tulum as you can’t take water in and I had only had one drink with my lunch Overall a great excursion

Great

Rio Secreto was really enjoy able and a fantastic experience. However the negative element was the cost of the photos they sell, particularly when they weren’t that good. The photo cost spoilt the excursion (120 dollars for the photo’s, about 2 were any good). Tulum was another ruin, but no real tour guide overview. My recommendation would be to book the Coba and Rio Secreto excursion (best bits of the 2 excursions).

There was one Italian couple in our group and the tour guide said everything in English and in Italian which made it confusing and felt like we missed out on some information and it was long to repeat everything in two languages. Also - there are free towels in Rio secreto so no need to bring your own. There wasn’t much swimming in the cenotes, but it was amazing overall! Tulum was VERY HOT. Bring a hat, light, loose clothing and water! Plastic bottles aren’t allowed in Tulum, so bring a thermos

The part of the holiday that we were extremely dissatisfied with is the 2.5 hours we were left outside the airport is 33 degrees being told we we’re waiting for a family who hadn’t got out of the airport yet. This then changed to the vehicle was not there for our transfer. The TUI rep was rude ignorant and had the cheek to say that I was shouting at him which was not true (I have witnesses to this.) There was another couple waiting with us who were very upset too. We asked for a taxi he refused.

The caves and Tulum were amazing, just a shame we did the caves first as it was so hot when we arrived at Tulum.

Trip was great, but maybe would have been better if first we went to ruins and then rio secreto. That way we wouldn't have been under the hottest sun of the day at Tulum.

Excellent quality tour, great guide - Pablo Omar - who loves what he does with a fab sense of humour. My only criticism is that we could’ve spent more time in Tulum.

Guide was excellent Danny, she was very informative also added some fun into the day. Bus transfers long as have to go to all the hotels before ours on the one way highway.
