Der Guide war sehr freundlich und hat viel Wissen über die Insel vermittelt. Zur Sicherheit konnte sich jeder seine Handynummer notieren, was ich sonst auf keiner anderen Tour erlebt hatte. Auf dem höchsten Berg der Insel erhielt jeder einen Gutschein für ein Getränk (z. B. Milchkaffee). In der Stadt gab es eine ausführliche Führung und ausreichend Zeit zur persönlichen Erkundung und zum Shoppen.

Marga war eine sichere tolle Busfahrein und Daniel ein unterhaltsamer Reiseleiter. Vielleicht wären ein par Erklärungen im herrschaftlichen Haus etwas kürzer gefaßt worden, um mehr chopping Zeit zu haben. Aber so haben wir geld gespart Summasumarum war es ein schöner Tag

Danny the tour guy was very informative, friendly & funny. The entire trip was good & I would recommend it. The only down side was the free time in Ciutadella, it wasnt long enough. By the time you grabbed some food & a drink you had to get back to the bus. I would of preferred another hour there.

Der Aufenthalt auf dem höhsten Gipfel Menorcas war zu kurz (es blieb kaum Zeit sich alles anzuschauen und Fotos zu machen9. Wenn man sich nicht gleich anstellte, um seinen Keks und Kaffee zu erhalten, konnte man nicht einmal diesen bekommen bzw. genießen. Dafür war in der Hauptstadt zuviel freie Zeit, zumal uns die sehnswerten Stellen vom Reiseleiter gut und ausführlich gezeigt wurden.

Guided tour was excellent and guide was very informative. Discussed the tour with the TUI rep first. To ensure suitable for my 86 yr Dad. Who walks with a stick. We were informed you do not have to do the walking tour, but he managed it well. Nice to get the free time for a couple of hours. It was made clear where to meet for the return coach.

Great tour! Our guide, Daniel, was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. The views and complimentary coffee and biscuits at El Toro were fantastic and Ciutadella itself is great. We enjoyed the guided part but equally enjoyed our free time to explore. Daniel always ensured we knew where we were meeting and at what time and it all felt very safe. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed seeing Ciutadella - it's a wonderful place. The guide was very informative. We also enjoyed the trip to the highest point on the island. It might be worth considering the inclusion of a visit to the Cathedral, although I appreciate this would increase the cost and duration of the tour.

It would have been cheaper to visit Ciutadella by bus, which we had already done earlier in the week. Ciutadella is a lovely place to visit especially when the market is open. I would have preferred more time in El Toro, as I felt a bit rushed after the talk and walk around the monastery and then the visit to the cafe for the complimentary drink and shortbread, There was just not enough time to see the views or browse the shop.

The Cuitadella tour was interesting. The guided walking route was well chosen to give a feel for the area. As my husband has mobility issues he was not able to do the walk but the bus dropped us by an area where he could sit at a cafe and watch the world go by. I did feel the group we had was too large for the narrow streets and it was quite difficult for us older folk to keep up with the guide. The guide was very knowledgeable but perhaps less would be more when giving information.

Going to Mount Toro was brilliant a beautiful experience. Always good bus drivers. The walking tour in Ciutadella was far too long 1.5hrs walking in the heat around most interesting buildings was too much, many found the walk difficult up & down steps.. Many did opt out & wander off as it was too much to take in. It then it did not give you anytime to look yourself & if you wanted something to eat by the time you were served we had to rush back to the bus.

The tour guide was great, a couple of things on the down side; After our flight out had a burst tyre ,having a coach that smelt of rubber burning from the wheels didn’t instil confidence, smell still there on the return journey despite supposedly fixed. It was a full coach so a large group, whilst the guide cannot be faulted, it was difficult to hear on occasions so a microphone and headset system would have improved the experience greatly.

Daniel our guide very knowledgeable and had the ability to amuse everyone. The tour with its limited time gave a good overview of Ciutadella & the free time allowed us to have a quick snack lunch. We were alarmed to see blue smoke from a wheel when we were picked up but presumably the driver didn’t see it as a problem & it was resolved but we couldn’t understand the explanation due to the poor quality of the coach’s PA system.

Francis, our guide, was great - really informative and the right level of energy and humour. Driver was great too, felt safe and secure and our buggy in the luggage compartment was nice and intact at the end! Would have liked a bit more time at the monastery, felt a bit rushed with the drink and biscuit - even ten more minutes would have felt a lot better. Was disappointed as I’d enjoyed the church and didn’t have time to look at the shop afterwards. I would take ten mins less in Cituedella!

Trip was fine (ignoring the coach break down - use newer coaches). However, the 2 to 4 hours quoted on the app, etc., is totally misleading. We were away for 6 and a half hours, which totally ruined our plans for the rest of the day.

We enjoyed hearing anecdotes about the area and the commentary during the walking tour. The trip lasted longer than advertised and this meant lunch was missed. It does say in the information (in small writing) that food and drink was not provided, however this needs to be more prominent.

The places visited were good. At El Toro the coach was left with doors open and personal property unattended. No sign of the Driver. The guide was lovely he was very engaging and fun. He shared a lot about the history of the places we visited and that brought a lot of value to the tour. We did not go on a boat trip, there are places we wanted to explore but we were informed we were required to pay extra to go in. the Cathedral, the Musuem, and a couple historic sites, there too many pick ups that we got bored on the coach. More importantly a massive thank you to the Coach driver in manoeuvring the bendy roads leading to the mountains. My heart was in my mouth throughout. The tour was great value for money, however we struggled to hear the tour guide when we were on the coach. The walking tour in Cituadella was really interesting - we have been there on our own numerous times so it was good to find out more about it. The visit to El Toro was great and we enjoyed the complimentary coffee & biscuit. Casa Olivar was also really interesting. All in all a very interesting tour and great value for money.

Der Guide (Namen nicht gemerkt - Daniel o. ä) hat eigenständig die Route geändert. Den Berg sollten wir ursprünglich am Ende der Tour anfahren. Er wollte es gleich zu Beginn. Wir fuhren ewig, um dann an eine Sperre zu kommen, weil ein Protest im Gange war und der Berg gesperrt war. Von einem Guide erwarte ich, dass er dergleichen im Vorfeld abklärt. Durch diesen Unsinn war für alles zu wenig Zeit und wir wurden dumm im Bus durch die Gegend gefahren. Informationen gab es wenig. UNPROFESSIONELL

Best trip of the 8-day stay. The English speaking guide (Francis) from Eltham, South London was excellent, not only in his knowldge of Ciutedella, but his easy delivery style was comfortable and enjoyable to exoerience. The trip up Mount Toro presented stunning views of the island (looking north to south & coast to coast). 100% a trip not to be missed. And this is from a Jet2 customer - given Jet2 didn't offer this exciting opportunity - Highly recommended. 5* service throughout the day !

Our driver and tour guide were very friendly and informative, giving great depth on the mountain drive and Cuitadella tour. The transport was punctual, stopping off at a few TUI resorts along the way. I really enjoyed the opportunity to break off and explore, and there is enough time allocated to allow for this.

Convent was amazing and the views from up the mountain were beautiful. Walking tour of Ciutadella wasn’t worth the effort involved, everyone was grumbling as all we were doing was racing around in circles with no real point. The palace was ok, but just like any stately home really. Personally I would catch the local bus to Ciutadella and have a day wandering round at your own leisure, much more pleasurable. Tour guide Daniel very funny with his comments on the bus and driver excellent.

Felt like a school trip I'm never sure on these trips why we are all left to wonder?? when we ar on a guiden tour, most people just headed back to the pick up point maybe having a sandwich on the way so disapointing. Tour sollte 2-4h dauern, am Ende waren wir über 6h unterwegs. Englisch sprachige Reiseleitung wurde von der Reiseleiterin im Hotel nicht angekündigt, sondern war erst in der Buchungsbestätigung sichtbar. Der Reiseleiter war aber sehr aufgeschlossen und hatte ein sehr hohes Wissen über die Örtlichkeiten, sowie eine sehr freundliche, lebhafte Art.

Der Ausflug war wunderschön und hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Der Guide hat während der Fahrt auf eine witzige Art einiges über Menorca erzählt, so dass es nie langweilig wurde. Zuerst fuhren wir auf den Monte Torro und anschließend in die wunderschöne Stadt Cituadella. Die einstündige Führung fand ich persönlich nicht so spannend, aber man musste dort nicht teilnehmen und konnte diese jederzeit verlassen.

Great value for money, the first part was to the highest point In Menorca. Really good views and a drink and snack included. Then off to Ciutadella and a guided tour too. Overall enjoyed the tour very much. The stop at the mountain was interesting but a little rushed. By the time we had queued for the free drink and biscuit we had very little time to look around. However the rest of the tour was excellent and Daniel was enthusiastic and informative as a guide.

Our guide Francis made this trip really enjoyable. He was professional, friendly, immensely knowledgeable and informative with just the right amount of humour. His passion for the Island was obvious. Especially at the first stop to have had more of a leisurely look around as you have a coffee and biscuit stop included. We started off heading to the mountain ElToro with Nicola as our guide the information we received on route from her was very informative of the island, the views at the top was amazing next stop was the old town centre where again Nicola explained all the history there and even was around to advise us of a place to eat in our free time which was lovely. The half day trip was well worth the money getting back to our hotel for 3pm we had a very enjoyable day

We had a lovely time, at mount toro you can see a 360 view of the island which was amazing and tried a menorca cake with a drink. The history of the church was fascinating. The walking tour in the old capital was good but I felt personal the guide need to interact with people more and at glances for google up on his phone to find information with was a bit concerning. Overall is was good but don’t book on an extremely hot day.

Only gripe was being collected late and with all the pick ups and drop offs en route, the half day trip starting at 8:30 took most of the day, as we arrived back around 3pm. Otherwise, thoroughly enjoyable experience with Daniel who is extremely knowledgeable. Would have liked more free time to explore independently however, so I feel another trip to the beautiful city is necessary.

We enjoyed the Ciutadella tour, started off with a visit to Monte del Toro and then the walking tour of Ciutadella including visiting Casa del Oliver at the end. We had 2 hours free time after and left Cuitadella at 2.30pm.

Our guide, Nicola, was wonderful during the whole tour. She shared her superb local knowledge throughout the day. One of the best and most interesting days spent at El Toro and walking around the fascinating town of Cuitadella. This was definitely value for money and all down to Nicola. Highly recommended.

The city itself was beautiful and well worth the visit. The guide was knowledgeable but a bit difficult to understand at times. Our journey time to Ciutadella was split on the way in and direct on our return. The guided tour was an hour long which leaving 2 hours of free time. We felt that the amount of free time could easily of been extended to allow us to explore more of the area and and would have gave more time for lunch and nosing about without constantly clock watching. Despite that great.

It was a very lengthy transfer picking up in a few different places and waiting in the bus for other groups to join, meaning we had at least 30 minutes less time in Ciutadella than we expected. Otherwise everything was excellent, Daniel was very good at explaining the historical context of the places we visited and clear in giving directions to help us make the most of the free time we had.

Even better tour than the Mahón one. The town is beautiful and historic. Would love to either go as a whole day tour with entrance to the cathedral, or have an option for own return from town so you can spend more time exploring and grabbing food.

We arrived in Ciutadella at 9.30am with the Coach and had to wait seated in the coach for over 1 hour because the Tour Guide was very late, this was unacceptable. The walking guide of the town and Casa Olivar with the guide was good, but we did waste 1 hour waiting on the coach!

There was confusion over the pick up time. We were told 8.30 am and duly arrived at the pick up point at 8.20 am. However, the pick up bus didn’t arrive until 9.30 am and we were only there by accident as we had decided to take the regular bus service into Ciutadella. If we had decided to go back to the hotel, we would obviously have missed it and would be demanding our money back. I did pass this onto the TUI rep. We should have had a text message or email to let us know.

Die Tour wird als Cituadella UND El Toro angeboten. Durchgeführt wird aber nur Cituadella. Nur durch ein Nachfragen zu El Toro und dem Kloster dort hatten wir die Information,dass El Toro bei diesem Ausflug nicht mehr enthalten ist. Sonst hätten wir an diesem Tag eine böse Überraschung erlebt. Selbst danachach stand der Ausflug noch mit El Toro drin. Schade war auch,dass er erst gar nicht in Deutsch angeboten wurde,aber der Guide hat ein schönes Englisch gesprochen.

Having a local guide who lives on the island and speaks good English meant we learnt a great deal of interesting information that we could not pick up from guide books. Daniel also showed us where everything was in the city so we could easily find our way around during our free time. Great to have all the WCs pointed out, too

The tour guide Daniel was very knowledgeable but we had far too much free time at the end. It was advertised as an half day excursion but ended up nearly a full day. Two hours could be taken off the free time easily.

The trip was well organised and Debbie our tour guide was excellent very informative. The only downside was the time it took to get back we were just over 11/2hours on the coach didn’t get back till 4:35 after dropping everyone off, pick up was at 9:10 so not a half day trip as advertised.

The visit to Cuitadella was excellent, the tour guide's informative commentary full of interesting detail, the city itself absolutely great, but there was much more to the trip, the scenery, the visit to Torre mountain, the immense all round views, the farms and the Minorcan horses, and a different route on the return leg. All cleverly supported by the guides commentary. Excellent day out.

Good Value excursion Prompt pick up Guide very informative probably a little too much information needs to be carefully scripted Citudella lovely place to visit ?? Too many pick ups to other resorts too much time spent on the bus although it was a rainy day so probably beneficial!

Enjoyed opportunity to visit places. Could have done with longer time at mount toro. Tour around cuitadella very long couldn’t hear tour guide. Palace ok but would rather have had time to see more of town.

Der Ausflug Ciutadella Rundgang ist sehr schön und empfehlenswert Ciutadella ist wirklich eine schöne alte Stadt Die Aussicht vom höchsten Berg war ok Der Transfer war pünktlich und gut organisiert

Microphone on coach was poor. Off coach guide was probably knowledgeable but very hard to hear and started talking well before most were with him and never waited for most. Enjoyed the area. Would have been good to repeat where the meeting place and loos were jyst at the end.

Een aanrader van een trip. Het hoogste punt bij Toro is zeer mooi en een aanrader voor iedereen die naar het eiland komt. De tour door Ciutadella is ook heel leuk! Zeer kundige gids met Debby die ook veel over de geschiedenis kan vertellen en daarmee meer context geeft aan de gebouwen die je bezoekt. De Casa Olivar vonden we persoonlijk wat minder bijzonder. Maar ieder zijn eigen smaak.

It was a real pain having to go miles out of the way to pickup people on the way and drop them off on the way back. The return journey took 1 hour 40 mins for a 1hour journey.

Excellent guide. Amusing, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. Good mix of guided tour and free time. Confusion abot pick up point however. We received different information about whether we should go down to bus stop in Cala Galdana, or be picked up Melia hotel.. We had booked online prior to the holiday rather than booking with TUI rep in resort.

The guide was excellent and very interesting with lots of enthusiasm. The coach driver was also a lovely lady. I would say a reason I wouldn’t recommend it was the coach was extremely hot even with the air conditioning on it made you feel quite unwell. In future I would take public transport which is a shame as the staff were excellent

Die Tour war sehr schön. Die Abwicklung über die App und die Kommunikation sehr schlecht. Die Tickets konnten nicht zugestellt werden, selbst nach mehrfacher Mitteilung der E-Mail-Adresse des Hotels. Erst Ihre Reiseleiterin von Ort (Ann) konnte das Chaos beheben. Diese hat uns auch eine weitere Tour vermittelt, die über die App nicht angeboten wurde. Über eine Anwesensheit vor Ort sollte nachgedacht werden und nicht, dass der Urlauber jemanden anfordern muss.

There was a delay to the original pick up time which may have shortened the time available to visit Monte Torro which meant that part was rather short. The rest of the Tour went well.

We were picked up on a small mini bus and driven away from what seemed like the route to Cuitedelada without any explanation by a driver who couldn't speak English and wondered where on earth we were going. We eventually stopped and were transferred to a larger coach for the onward journey to Cuitedela. It would have been nice to have had that info in advance! Also, I was unwell during our free time there but nowhere on the Ap could we find a local number to contact Tui rep

This is great value for a half day excursion. 9.30-4pm. Guide was great and very informative of Cuitadella. Free time to have a cuppa and snack. Short stop to look at some ruins, stop was just long enough. To end trip visited Chapel on El Torro which was serene and can see all of Menorca from the top.
