What we expect
Le musée du Prado est le principal centre culturel de Madrid et l'une des plus grandes galeries d'art au monde. Son impressionnante exposition d'œuvres de maîtres européens tels que Velázquez, Goya, Rafael, Rubens et Bosch (parmi d'autres grands artistes italiens et flamands) est abritée dans un bâtiment néoclassique du 18e siècle qui a ouvert ses portes en tant que musée en 1819.
Le nom du musée dérive de l'endroit où il est situé, anciennement un verger connu sous le nom de "Prado". La reine d'Espagne de l'époque avait été impressionnée par le Louvre à Paris et voulait montrer une vaste collection...
