Abandoned at the end of the 14th century by the Kings of France, the Palais de la Cité consisted of the Conciergerie, Palais de Justice and the Sainte Chapelle.The Conciergerie took on a judicial role after the Kings left and part of the palace was converted into prison cells where hundreds of prisoners during the French Revolution were emprisoned before getting guillotined. Its most famous prisoner was Marie-Antoinette.Along with the Conciergerie, the Sainte Chapelle is one of the earliest surviving buildings of the Capetian royal palace on the Île de la Cité and is considered among the highest achievements of the Rayonnant period of Gothic architecture.

Both monuments are closed on 1st May and 25th December. The Sainte Chapelle is also closed on 1st January

Hice la reserva y la pagué.
Me enviaron justificante de reserva confirmada. Pero donde estaban los tikets de entrada? Le daba al enlace para descargarlos y no hacia nada.
Llegue al museo pensando que valdria con la confirmacion de la reserva y el pago de los billetes y nada.

Avec la tablette, on est coupé des personnes qui nous accompagne. On n'est pas attentif aux lieux réels. On peut faire une visite comme celle ci à la maison et eviter les files d'attente.
Nb...personnel de contrôle des sacs aux tribunal particulierement désagréable.

Après avoir visité Notre Dame qui a retrouvé son éclat, la Sainte Chapelle apparaît comme un lieu qui nécessiterait une opération de nettoyage, bel ouvrage néanmoins.

The Chapelle is a much shorter experience than the Concierge but is more interesting to look at. The Concierge gives chance to learn lots of history and is very interesting.

The Musement site was the only one that got us short term access to a timed entry pass. Access went smoothly and the church was beautiful. This was one of the best visits we had to any of the Paris attractions.

Nous avions un billet double.
Le eticket a bien fonctionné pour la Ste-Chapelle.
Par contre à la Conciergerie le eticket n’était plus accessible (faute de réseau?).
(Le stress monte!)
Ils ont fait une recherche avec le no. de réservation sans succès (votre site ne leur étant pas accessible).

Le problème réside dans le fait que les entrées de la Ste Chapelle soit couplée avec le Tribunal de Grande Instance. Un contrôle (fait particulièrement par un préposé qui devrait aller suivre des cours de politesse et d'amabilité) des plus complets, portique, passage de tout ce que vous portez sur plateau etc... Ca se comprend pour le tribunal, mais pas pour la Ste Chapelle. A part ce désagrément, tout va bien et c'est magnifique et ça vaut le déplacement.
