You'll visit the incredible Windsor Castle and grounds, through the ancient streets of the beautiful city of Bath and onto Stonehenge, one of the most famous and recognizable prehistoric sites in the world. You'll also enjoy a stop for a traditional pub lunch and the comfort of air-conditioned luxury transportation from central London. Windsor Castle is perched high above the River Thames just outside London. From William the Conqueror all the way through to the Current King, successive monarchs have lived here and left their mark on what is now the largest continuously occupied castle in the world (entry to the Castle included if option selected).Moving on to the most famous prehistoric monument in the world, Stonehenge stands alone in the vast empty tract of Salisbury Plain. Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays & Wednesdays and on the 25 - 26 December. On rare occasion the State Apartments are closed and as an alternative, you shall visit Queens Mary's Doll's House and St. George's Chapel
St. George's Chapel is closed on Sundays. There will be extra time to explore the castle precincts
On rare occasions, if the George Inn is not available, you shall use a suitable alternative
Lunch will be taken late in the afternoon and the order of the visit may change, so lunch may be replaced by supper
During peak periods, additional vehicles without Wi-Fi may be used

Der Ausflug war super organisiert, hat alles bestens geklappt! Moderner Reisebus, sowohl Busfahrer wie auch Guide (Andrew) waren top!!! Hat sehr viel Spass gemacht, obwohl es nach dem Mittag für den Rest des Tages in Strömen geregnet hat. Das Essen im Georg Inn Pub war sehr lecker - hat sich gelohnt.

De reisleider Leon en buschauffeur Jermain waren echt super. Heel spontaan, heel vriendelijk en stonden voor iedereen klaar. Zelfs voor mijn dochter die jarig was een taartje gekocht met een kaarsje erin. En vollop gezongen tijdens ons eten in Lacock. Alles was goed geregeld en Leon wist ons veel te vertellen en ons ook echt te vermaken tijdens de rit in de bus. Was een hele mooie ervaring. Het plaatsje Bath is ook heel mooi, je kijkt je ogen uit. Alles was tot in de puntjes geregeld!

Windsor leuk, maar veel te weinig tijd binnen, op zijn minst 2 uur nodig, geen 1 uur. Stonehenge leuk, Bath leuk ook te weinig tijd, gids deed zijn best leuke wandeling door de stad onder begeleiding door de gids Richard. Pubmeal leuk, maar ook gehaast tekort. Je moet echt goed ter been zijn anders red je het niet. Er was geen tijd om ff te snuffelen in de winkeltjes in o.a. Bath. Als je niet op tijd uit het kasteel bent, ivm wisssling wacht, sluit hij hermetisch af en kom je er niet uit.

Aufgrund der Rezessionen war mir zum Voraus bewusst, dass die Tour eher gehetzt sein wird. Und es stimmte. Wir hatten an allen Orten relativ wenig Zeit. Der Guide sagte aber auch mehrfach, dass wir einen vier-Tages-Trip in einem Tag machen. Daher war ich positiv überrascht, dass wir zum einen innerhalb der Ziele uns selber umsehen durften und somit die gegebene Zeit selber einteilen konnten. Wir haben es sehr gemütlich genommen, weswegen der Ausflug für uns sehr gelungen war.

Es war sehr gut...diese 4 Orte gesehen zu haben, leider war die Zeit zu kurz, besonders für das Windsor Castle. Die Reiseleiterin hat viel erzählt und das war sehr gut. Das Essen im Pub war auch sehr gut. Im Großen und Ganzen kann ich den Ausflug weiter empfehlen, werde aber beim nächsten Besuch einen Tag für Windsor einplanen.

Eine gute Zusammenstellung des Programms, bei der Dichte und der wenigen zur Verfügung stehenden Zeit gut gelöst. Sehr lohnenswerte Ziele. Sehr angenehme und gute Betreuung durch den Buschauffeur und besonders den Guide. Sie weisen zwar kurz darauf hin, dass bei Stoßzeiten Busse verwendet werden, bei denen es kein Wi-Fi gibt. Es war dann aber doch unangenehm, keines zu haben, da man eigentlich damit gerechnet hätte. Insgesamt empfehlenswert.

Wenig Zeit zum besichtigen des Schloss Windsor, auch für das Essen. Lieber die Besichtigung der letzten zwei aus lassen. Carfahrt ,Carfahrer und Reisebegleiter waren Top (!!) sehr freundlich, aufgestellt und wir haben viele Infos bekommen. Danke
