My group of friends enjoyed a wonderful trip to Montserrat - a truly spectacular area with far reaching views.
Everything from the cogwheel train ride to the monastery and the visit inside the building, the liquor tasting and audio visual film was excellent.
Our guide was also very informative .

The tour exceeded our expectations. The time allotted for the guided tour was perfect because it allowed us just enough additional time to enjoy one of the hiking trails, allowing us to enjoy the majesty of the natural surroundings and appreciate the peacefulness of the monastery's locale even more.

The tour did not give enough time to do anything but view the cathedral and go taste the monk's homemade liquor. There was no possible way to do a hike, or even take part in the audio tour that was part of the package. Cathedral was beautiful though and the liquor delicious

From the start to the finish the whole journey was amazing. The views, the atmosphere, the monastery, shortly the whole experience was breathtaking.
I also would like to take a moment and thank our tour guide Gloria for her explanations. Listening to her was always fun and we enjoyed her company.

All was very good organized and the guide was friendly and professional. It would be better, if all guided parts would be together and to have one long free time instead of interrupting it, but this is only a hint for the organizers.

The place is too commercialized. You took what was probably a beautiful monastery and turned it into an amusement park. The chapel was beautiful, the mountain was beautiful, but the convenience store, souvenir shop and other things made it less enjoyable.

Le rapport qualité prix est médiocre. Pour 59 euros on a eu un transport correct. Mais le temps de visite sur place ne permet pas de monter au sommet. Pas de repas ni boisson inclus. La guide était très bien. Malgré tout c'est une excursion sympathique.

Hello, the trip was great. We were very satisfied. Excellent organization. Carlos was amazing and we give him 5 stars. English was too fast for us. Audio download packages were useless. I do not have bluetooth headphones so I could NOT hear much from my iPhone speakers with general noise & people. Audio was only useful on guided tours where they SUPPLIED headphones/receiver. You need to inform customers of the issue...

Quite comfortable bus and terrific guide. Needed a little longer to include time for art museum. Liqueur-tasting was a waste of time. It was very crowded and there was no interest shown in explaining the different Liqueurs other than alcohol content. Quite impersonal sales pitch.

Manuel, the bus driver. Very good managing the curves of the road. Danny is a great tour guide. Wish we had an extra 30 mins - we did not have time to try the liquors. Monserrat is beautiful- a must see on your visit to Barcelona.

The two guides Hugo & Roger V were very good. Hugo took the Spanish speaking tour, Roger V the English.
Only one criticism, not of the guides, but when you confirm the tour is on, and you say where to meet the bus, why dont you say at The Bus Station?

Guide was very good and the monastery is very interesting but there was too much waiting around for both the choir and the visit to the Black Madonna. This left no time to explore for oneself or time to even have a drink. We felt the whole experience was rushed.

In order to truly enjoy Montserrat, you really need a full day on site, otherwise it gets very hectic and unfulfilling. The driver was excellent, as were the 2 tour guides.
The food facilities need improving or at least ensure there is staff to man the positions, even in late Sept.

The place was incredible surrounded by the mountains and it was a beautiful sunny day. Definitely more time is required to have the complete available experience, in my case I had no time to attend the choir because the tour operator (Julia Travel) do not coordinate well the contracted services.

Our guides (I think Gabrielle and Kat) were excellent and their love of Montserrat showed through when explaining everything! They tag teamed on the bus with explanations and tidbits and humor. Their understanding of the reverence and beauty of Montserrat made the trip very enjoyable!

The monastery was beautiful. Not so happy with the tour company. The stated a dress code which was cover your shoulders and knees, we followed that. The 2 guides were wearing shorts and crop tops. We didn’t have enough time to see much. On our way back the AC was so low that we were sweating.

weather terrible. Company should have offered a refund or another date to go as we could not see anything. Guide spent an hour with us then went and sat in the cafe and said if we had questions we should come and ask her. Other groups there had their guide with them the entire time.
