Excellent
Adrian, our guide, was very good, very knowledgeable about the area and made the trip fun and interesting. Pena Palace, Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascais were all great places to see. They were really busy places but it didn't interfere with our enjoyment. There was a lot more walking than I anticipated, especially uphill and on uneven ground but it was manageable and our guide was helpful as were our fellow travellers.

Wij hebben deze excursie heel prettig gevonden. Hadden een groepje van 7 personen. Gids chauffeur was keurig op tijd. Daar wij iets eerder in Sintra waren zijn wij via de botanische tuin naar boven gelopen. Dit gaf nog meer waarde aan de excursie. De gids was vriendelijk en sprak duidelijk Engels, had veel kennis over de bezienswaardigheden. Door haar ervaring loodste ze ons door de drukte bij het paleis. Langs de kust teug en bezoek Cabo da Roco en Cascais was mooie route.

Klasse Tour. Teilweise außerhalb der Touristenströme. 1 Stunde Marsch durch den absolut sehenswerten Garten von Sintra. Zwar anstrengend, aber kaum Touristen. Und wegen des dichten Waldes ein besonders kühles Mikroklima (ca. 23° C im Juli). Später in Cascais hatten wir 35°C. Tolle Landschaften auf der Fahrt, es gab gekühltes Wasser für alle Teilnehmer (wir waren 5) und das Beste: unser Guide wusste viel, hat uns die ganze portugiesische Geschichte mit allen Königen erzählt. Kurzum: tolle Tour.

Het zou een aanrader zijn om Quinta da Regaleira in de excursie op te nemen ipv cascais. (Maar dat is misschien een persoonlijke keuze) Onze gids Nuno was een erg enthousiaste man, hij wist veel te vertellen. Fijn dat we bij het hotel opgehaald en aan het eind van de dag afgezet werden.

Sehr freundlicher, kompetenter und hilfreicher Tour-Guide. Viele Informationen zur Geschichte des Landes und der Stationen. Der Ablauf, Reihenfolge und Zeitrahmen, waren durchgeplant aber nicht so, dass man gestresst wurde.

Onze gids Nuno Dias heeft ons op een heel bevlogen manier door het park van Sintra geleid. Hij vertelde veel achtergrondinformatie over de historie van het paleis en het gebied waar hij is opgegroeid. Een gepassioneerde man die trots is op zijn regio en ons de lokale pareltjes heeft laten zien. Een echte aanrader.

We had a wonderful day exploring Sintra and the views along the way to Cascais. The gardens at Sintra were beautiful. Our guide Nuno was very knowledgeable and very patient. We had a mixed age group party and some were slower than others but he accommodated them. Would recommend this tour.

Our tour guide Jen was fabulous and really made this a great experience. She looked after us so well and managed to engage with each group member although we were quite a diverse group. The sites we saw were memorable and learnt a lot about Lisbon.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Tag mit unserer charismatischen und überaus sympathischen Reiseleiterin Joana. Sie erklärte uns unglaublich viel über Geschichte, Land und Leute. Die Tour war wunderbar organisiert und der Tag verging wie im Flug. Wir haben es absolut nicht bereut diese Tour gebucht zu haben. Jederzeit wieder!

They didn’t pick us up at our hotel so we had to get a taxi to Sintra and meet our guide there so it was a bad start to our trip and very stressful

De tourgids was grappig, had veel kennis van zaken, gaf nuttige bezoektips, had oog voor de wensen van de deelnemers en hield graag een gesprek met de deelnemers. De tourgids maakte dan ook dat de tour echt waar voor je geld kreeg.

Hele mooie daguitstap. Geweldige gids (Bernardo ?) Sprak vloeiend Engels, gaf uitleg over alles wat je zag/tegenkwam. Hield met iedereen rekening en vroeg telkens "you're good?" Veel gezien en geleerd. Echt de moeite waard!
