Experiencia de un día en la playa de Sal Rei

Did this trip on our wedding anniversary and it was perfect. Staff were great and my wife was able to hold a baby shark caught on the beach.

Amazing place, amazing staff (including solza the bus driver) perfect place overall, so good we spent 3 days here!

All of it , great value for money

The restaurant & setting was idyllic, staff were attentive the whole time, lunch was wide ranging, fresh and tasty. The water sports inc scuba diving, kayaking & paddle boarding was great fun and felt very safe and organised. I have a disability and struggled a little to get in and out of the boat but the staff helped and lifted people. I'd just be aware if you have low mobility or problems with upper body strength. My 2 teenage daughters and I had a fabulous experience and day out. Recommended.

The whole day was amazing! The staff were all so friendly, chatty (was so impressed with them being multi-lingual). They told us all about the places/activities but then also asked about us e.g. was it our first time visiting the island etc. We were so looked after both in/out the water. The staff were constantly with us but not ‘in your face’ we honestly couldn’t fault them

The local lads providing the experience are worth their absolute weight in gold, they really made the experience for everyone, and kept everyone in good and high spirits! Very bountiful knowledge and good humour to go with it! The food was astounding. The island and the beach bar were two of the most beautiful places I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Just wish we had a little more time out in the water to do the snorkeling but other than that everything was A1!

The local guides were excellent and went above and beyond, when I lost my phone during the paddle boarding off the coast in the North Atlantic, they went out of there way to free dive and search for it, even went back the next day to free dive and look again until they unbelievably found it and returned it to me at the hotel. Honestly can't rate Norbi and his team enough really friendly, helpful and above all else professional! Without a doubt the best experience in boa vista!

What a great trip! The staff were amazing from start to finish and the food was a welcome break from the hotel! Some of the tastiest food we had the whole trip. The beach bar is a little bit of paradise!

Loved all of the crew involved in making this a great day out. It was fun, we felt safe the whole time and the food and service at the Morpeza beach bar was excellent. Really tasty meal and plenty of it plus the option of using the kayak or paddle board. Not forgetting the guy who transported us to and from the hotel. All in all, an excellent day out!

The snorkelling opportunity was the prime reason we signed up for the trip. The weather however was unsuitable. So for us this spoilt the experience, nobody’s fault. The food was great the venue was amazing , everyone’s idea of a proper beach bar. For us, too much time was spent at the beach after lunch, we were ready to leave when the bus arrived to take us back to the hotel. Although watching the kite surfing was super entertaining.

Loved the day, chilled with friendly staff. Would have been nice to be able to use the kayaks or paddle boards but understood the weather/sea conditions made that difficult

This is an amazing day! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was fantastic any the location was absolutely stunning! If you like swimming in the sea, this is the trip for you! Great water-sports available and a beautiful beach! Thank you so much!

This experience was incredible. I loved all of it

This excursion runs twice a week. No Tui reps on the excursion however, this wasnt a problem. All the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and made you feel safe. A coach to the beach and a welcome drink on arrival with a briefing of how the day would be. Plenty of sun loungers. When snorkeling you need to go near the reef otherwise you won't see any fish etc. Food served later. Guest in the first group got the better food, it needed covering as there were a few flies. Overall though great trip.

Andrew and Pierre went above and beyond for us to have an amazing day out. They made sure that everyone is happy and taken care of. We wanted to go to the Sal Rei for an hour or so. And they have arranged a return taxi for us and allowed us to go on kayaking earlier to have more time in the city. The only downside was during the snorkelling some of the staff looking after did not speak English and hence was difficult to communicate when we were coming towards the boat to clear googles.

The snorkelling experience is something I will remember forever! I would recommend to all who can swim (the sea is quite choppy so if you cannot swim at all this would be dangerous). Buffet was nice and it had a good range for vegetarians. Though, be aware of the actual day not being as jam packed as you think (see my points below). I would have given 10/10 but there were a few things which let us both down: 1. If you do not do snorkelling and you choose the boat ride only, this is a very expensive excursion and therefore I would not recommend to couples who both do not want to do it (Possibly opt for something a little cheaper like the Catamaran Cruise). 2. If one of you in your couple does not want to go snorkelling, they are left on a sandy beach to wait whilst those who snorkel go back out into sea. This is a little lonely, and also, unfortunately, no one was able to take photos of me swimming (no photographer on board this boat). 3. I was personally let down as I had said yes to snorkelling, but no one came to me to fit the flippers on. So when it was time to snorkel, I had to stay with the guide holding me the entire time (this part was not bad as actually he took me around to see a lot of fish!) 4. The beach experience is advertised as a day of activities included in the excursion... there is none. No paddle boarding, wind surfing, etc. It's a day of a boat ride and a day at a beach (which you can do at your resort anyway) but you have to pay for your drinks (you get 1 drink included in the price but that won't last you through the day). Overall, do it if you really want to snorkel but don't do it if you're looking for a boat ride only. Also make sure they give you ALL equipment to snorkel.
