Took me a while to master the steering as it was pretty heavy going on the arms so turning was fun especially over rough ground. Alizio, our guide kept checking how I was getting on & offered some advice which was really helpful . The trip was amazing - saw areas of the island I hadn’t managed so far - & riding through dunes, over rough terrain, up hills & over the salt flats was exhilarating.. I’d recommend it!

Did the 4 hour tour for my 60th Birthday. Having done the 4 hour in Boa Vista and loved it, we wanted to do it on Sal as it's a completely different landscape. This was a great experience as it's a rocky moon like surface which made it more challenging than Boa Vista. My only gripe is that we had to buy our own drinks when we stopped and that it was literally double the price of Boa Vista for the same experience, other than that we would recommend it.

I can't recommend this excursion enough. Our group was just my husband and I along with the guide so. We explored so much of Sal and visited some popular tourist locations like the salt lakes and kite beach. Our guide also took us to some quiet, local spots as well which were absolutely beautiful. The guide was knowledgeable and super friendly and was offering to take pictures of us at every location. Quad biking through the dunes was absolutely fantastic.

Given a really quick overview of controls, would have been an idea to have a familiarisation session before setting off as I pressed the accelerator instead of the brake and shot off across a road! I felt a right twit! Quickly got the hang of things and saw some spectacular views and sights. A photographer followed on a second bike and we got 120 airdropped pics for 30 euros. Take suncream as we were told we would be given a full set of overalls by the Tui rep but we got none and caught the sun.

We absolutely loved how much driving was involved, you really got lots of time to experience a quad bike. The tour showed the other side to this beautiful island, away from the hotels. The Salt Plains were amazing as well as the view from the mountain. We did the 2 hour tour and it was great. Would highly recommend doing this tour. Suncream and bandana to cover your face from the sand dust is definitely needed and make sure to bring all drivers licences with you.

The family had a fab time on the quad bikes. Our guide was really nice and very informative and explained the area on where we stopped. Have to say the cafe near the end was beautiful and so love a glass bottled coke the beach was so pretty there. The camera man was amazing as well super fast in getting around and great value for money with all our photos, he got some great action shots. Thank you from us all x

Great guide and lovely tour. Saw a lot of Sal. The bikes were heavy and hard to steer and sounded a bit ruff. All but one stop you needed money for . A photographer accompanied us then wanted 25€ for the pictures for a airdrop about 20 pictures. No drinks or food was provided unlike is experience with Tui in other countries.

We had the 4 hour tour and it gave a great tour of the island. We seen all the major tourist spots although from a different perspective and that suited us. The salt lakes view from the top of the creater was breath-taking. We had the opportunity to paddle with baby lemon sharks in Shark bay, seen the mirage and passed some of the more remote areas. We ended up having a full whistle stop tour of the island with the enjoyment of going offroad through stunning scenery with an excellent guide.

We have ridden quads on a number of occasions, this was the best so far. Challenging at times but. I felt so. The guide was very safe. The downside is that so many businesses have used the the current economic and world situation to hike up prices, you and the quad bike company are no different, you have done the same. That’s probably why there were only 2 bikes out that day.

Very poor description of the activity which ruined it. Never really told you where you were going, what was included & what you needed to fully enjoy the experience. Only took water & sun lotion. Missed out on the shark bay as no water shoes or money to hire them out, Didn't know you stopped for refreshments at the end (luckily we took water) and no money for the pictures which were taken. Luckily the bloke waited at the hotel at the end for our return to pay for them.

Very well organised and a great way to see the Island stopping off to see all the good stuff. Only gripe I booked it through the App no mention that you needed your driving license or when the guy picking you up checked your booking. Arrived at Quad Bike place only then to find out so it was back to the hotel to collect it.

We loved the feeling of freedom when riding the quads with our guide. The group was just our family and the guide was really informative. He chose a route suitable for our riding experience and it was great fun negotiating the climbs and decents. Helmets with visors were provided which were great for tackling the dust and the quads were really well maintained. We went to the salt mines and kite beach, we saw some stunning coastline along the way, We came back and wanted to do it again.

We had a great time on the quad bike tour. The quads had storage under the seat to put your bag which was really useful. Our only complaint was that we wanted to go faster! We were 3rd and 4th back from the guide but the other tour goers in front of us barely kept up with the guide which meant we had to build up some space to put the throttle on. Would enjoy more with a smaller and faster group!

The quad experience was really good and our guide was excellent. We were forgotten initially and left in the hotel waiting. Only after chasing up with a Tui rep who made a call did we get picked up 1 hour late. The biggest insult however was not getting what I believed I had paid for. I booked 2 people for quad biking when we got there it was two people on one bike and if we wanted another bike it was €85. Tui do it all the time they said book it wrong. That aside the experience was very good.

They (TUI) were nearly an hour late picking us up - no explanation or apology. The Quad bike company were very good though and we really enjoyed the trip. It's not a white knuckle experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the quad bike experience. Our guide took us on a whistle stop tour of the southern part of the Sal. The terrain is great for quad bike riding and would recommend it. Bring a scarf and sunnies due to the dust. When booking with Tui though the information provided is not correct each person is £35 not per bike, as the info states. If you want two bikes you have to make two separate orders and it costs €72. Tui have not changed the wording with their experience organisers.

The full 3 hours was great, fun on quad bike whilst be shown a few things on the island by the friendly guide. When we turned up they said we’d only book 1 bike but when I said we had booked two they said they’d had lots of problems with TUI bookings and asked us to feed this back as he has tried many times. In effect the app takes double payment but only send a single booking through

Was defiantly worth the trip a good pitstop around the island and perfect if your an adrenaline junky however don’t wear anything you don’t want to ruin as you will be covered in sand by the end of the trip. The guides were very good and helped with any issues One fault we did have was we paid for two quads and only ended up with one to share.

Overall great fun! Our guide took us on a safe, fun and scenic route stopping and different spots for a quick rest and some pictures. The guide was very friendly and I did not feel rushed or in welcome at any stage. Quad bike was in good working order as expected. Helmets could do with a refurb or swapped for new ones however they were still very comfortable

The whole experience was great! Enough stops to allow us to enjoy but not too much that we were stopping every 2 minutes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the pictures and videos that they sent over to us via whatsapp after the tour. My only complaint would be that more investment is required in the safety equipment. The helmets were heavily beaten and battered and require replacing. The foam is wearing fast inside the helmet and I’m not sure they will provide the same level of protection expected from a helmet the way they are. I do feel like there should be goggles or a visor provided also as we had to rely on our sun glasses to keep dust out of our eyes. A few occasions I had to stop the quad as I had dust in my eyes.

Great way to see more of the island in a fun way. With the terrain on Sal it is difficult to see in other ways. Great fun

They were 25 min late at bus pickup but it was really worth the wait. The experience was so nice and you get to see all over the island. They even let you collect salt from the mines.
Tip: Bring clothe that arent white and bring scarf and sunglasses

A great way to see Santa Maria and the wider area around Sal which you would otherwise not see with the excitement that goes with being on the quad. The tour was so good we did it again with the guide recognising us and taking us on a different set of track. Excellent

I really liked the fact that out of the 3 hours, about 2 hours 15 or more was on the quads. Great terrain to ride them on! Got to see the salt flats, several beaches, a great viewing point and the variety of sands and rock for travelling on. The guide was great, very friendly, took photos etc. All ran smoothly and on time, including the pick ups
