It’s was great! We travelled from the north so it did take about 2 hours (a lot caused by traffic) to get there, but it really wasn’t that bad as you got to see a lot of the island on the way down and driving through the mountains. The Safari and Zinu, our guide, were really good, we were out for about 2-2.5hrs, they can’t guarantee that you’ll see any animals (as it’s not a zoo) but we saw loads, I recommend hiking shoes for walk to the waterfall, it’s not far but can be slippy, but worth it!

Trotz Regen hatten wir mega fun ! Der Guid war super toll und hat uns viel über Natur und Tiere erzählt ! Es war durch den Dauer Regen sehr matschig aber das hat die Tour eher noch interessanter gemacht. Solltest es regnen unbedingt geeignete Schuhe mitnehmen die auch dreckig werden dürfen. Wir würden es jedem empfehlen um was über die Natur auf Mauritius zu lernen

Die Safari hat uns wirklich sehr gefallen. Wir haben sehr viel von der Natur gesehen und waren nur zu viert, weshalb auch alles sehr persönlich war. Das einzige was von uns nicht so durchdacht war, war die lange Transferzeit von 1:40 h pro Strecke. Wir waren im Sunrise Attitude im Westen untergebracht und da die Safari an sich nur ca. 2 Stunden ging, empfehlen wir diese vielleicht eher für Gäste im Süden der Insel. Wichtig: Unbedingt Badesachen mitnehmen, damit man im Wasserfall baden kann!!

The experience was a 2 hour drive away… we spent most of the day in the car as opposed to doing anything! The trip itself was only 90 minutes. The guide was friendly and great but not ideal trip for those who don’t enjoy trekking through slippy forest to get to a waterfall that you spend 10 minutes at.

Great day out which we really enjoyed. Didn’t feel safe in the taxi transfer as driver was very trigger happy with overtaking in the length of a small bus. He was friendly though. Staff at the nature reserve were all very good and the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.some great views to be seen.

Die Unternehmung hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen (2 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder). Unser Guide war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns viele interessante Informationen geliefert. Der Empfang im Visitors-Center war sehr angenehm und freundlich. Es wurde auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Allerdings erschien uns der Preis bei der Buchung mit TUI im Vergleich zur eigenen Organisation deutlich höher, dies ist unser einziger Kritikpunkt.

Notre guide était tout simplement génial! Il nous as fait un tour extrêmement bien expliqué de la réserve. On recommande fortement!

This trip offers something a bit quieter and more off the beaten track to all the adventure based trips on offer. That said it was a 4x4 safari so not completely laid back! Beware of transport time from hotel as we took 2 hours each way for a 2 hour experience. I think this bumped the cost up significantly hence the lower vfm score, however the transport was a very comfy taxi with a careful driver?? would have been nice to see more wildlife, but the guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.
