The tour guide was excellent and the waterfall was beautiful. However, the market wasn’t set up when we arrived so we wasted 30 minutes with nothing to look at or buy. The boat trip was too long. There was more time spent on the coach than anything else and we were more than 90 Minutes late returning which made me miss a critical board meeting at work. If the trip had been stated as 10 hours I would have planned accordingly.

I feel you need to review stopping at the gold shop as the staff pressure you to buy and is out of most peoples price range more time could be spent at some of the other places

The first part of the excursion personally was not that great I think people would rather go to to the shopping centre next to the gold store and miss out the farmers market but the second part where we went to eat food the boat trip and the cold water swim and water falls were amazing

The guide was excellent, the day was very enjoyable. My only issue was the boat trip as lots of people smoking despite signs saying no smoking. This spoiled the experience somewhat. One lady smoked 6 cigarettes in an hour.

Would have preferred much longer at the waterfalls to explore , hour was not enough . The lake boat trip ok but could have been told a little history about the artificial lake. What really disappointed us was the jewellery place, we thought we were having a little tour however we were pushed into a show room where the staff continued to pounce on us all to buy constantly . Absolutely ridiculous prices definitely for the wealthiest visitors . Most definitely more time at the falls needed

Told to meet at 8:30. Bus didn’t arrive arrive till 9:30. It was 35+ & no shade. I text via messenger on tui app and they responded with delay any longer than half hour to call. I tried but no numbers worked. Market was disappointing. Few stalls, most still setting up. Jewellery centre was not for me, pushy salesman trying to get sale. The guide and bus trip after market was very good, waterfall and lake excellent. Driver on 2nd bus in way back was rude when we couldn’t direct to our hotel.

Loved the places we visited. Waterfall & boat / lake were amazing ( a little more time here would be nice to fully explore) hosts and captain on the lake were great, food delicious, drivers great, all helpful. More time to kayak etc definitely appreciated. The market / shopping, we seemed to arrive early and s lot of stalls weren't set up. The jewellery centre good but maybe more suited on a separate trip. Trip said 8hrs, we were picked up at 8, didn't get back to our hotel until 7.10?

The waterfall and lake were spectacular and worth every penny! Lunch was amazing and even our 14 year old was amazed by the whole experience. The street market and jewelery store visits were good to experience local life. Fantastic day out but be prepared for a long day.

PROS - waterfall was fabulous and the boat trip was very enjoyable. I would say that it should state that you need to be quite mobile as there are numerous steps involved. CONS - it was our second visit to the jewellery store (knew there was a visit planned but expected a different store as we had visited this one on our previous trip a few days earlier). This was the experience of other guests on this tour also. The guides didn’t give a time limit, so 95% of us were kept waiting for 1 person and were there for over 90mins!
