Las tortugas bobas llevan miles de años habitando las playas de Zante y, con un poco de suerte, podrá verlas de primera mano en esta excursión en barco. Únase a un guía local experto para pasar un día educativo en el mar, pasando por lugares de anidamiento, nadando en bahías escondidas y pasando tiempo en el pueblo de Keri. Bianca, una de nuestras guías, afirma: "En una sola excursión, podrá zambullirse en aguas cristalinas, navegar por la península de Keri y, con suerte, ver tortugas".Disponible por la mañana desde el puerto de Zante o por la tarde desde el puerto de Keri, este crucero de medio día es una auténtica delicia para toda la familia. Pasará por las doradas playas de Vassilikos y Marathonisi, un islote cubierto de pinos apodado "Isla de las Tortugas". La razón es sencilla: una de sus playas es uno de los lugares preferidos por las tortugas para anidar. Bianca, que vive en Zante desde hace más de 20 años, dice sobre el paisaje: "Puedes hacer esta excursión mil veces y cada día es diferente". Asegúrese de estar atento a las caguamas, e incluso puede que vea algún que otro delfín salvaje.Además, navegará a lo largo de la península de Keri, pasando junto a sus acantilados, cuevas y faro, antes de echar el ancla para nadar en la bahía de Oasis. We found the whole trip very informative from the time we got on the boat. We were picked up by bus from designated place, but we didn't have a guide on our coach we were met at the Dock by her and another coach or 2. We had photos taken as we boarded but weren't told before hand and only one photo was shown to us onboard where unfortunately our Daughter had her eyes closed. Would of been a great keep sake else.

Het was een bovengemiddeld toeristisch uitje met een volle grote soort rondvaartboot. Er is ons vooraf niet verteld dat er tweemaal 30 minuten zwemtijd bij zat. Het zoeken naar schildpadden vond ik zielig en onverantwoord. Allemaal bootjes/ boten rondom zo’n beestje. Gelukkig hebben we er maar 1 gezien. Grotten zie je vanaf een afstand, in je zicht zitten tientallen kleine motorboten. Mooie kust, mooi gebied maar helaas dus geen mooie foto’s door andere boten/ toeristen. Afrader dus!

The upstairs of the boat was full up, so to be able to look at the sea we sat outside downstairs People and crew smoked so often there was constantly someone smoking and it wasn’t avoidable which was unpleasant. Views and trip nice otherwise.

Felt like seeing the turtles could not be done due to ‘smaller boats unsettling’ the turtles. Therefore this is not a turtle trip it is a boat trip with a small chance of seeing turtles if no other boats around. No experts on board like promised to learn about turtles so not an ‘educational day out’ as advertised. Time in ‘Keri’ was 15 minutes before the coaches left. So no time to ‘shop for souvenirs, relax in a typical taverna or hit the beach’ as advertised. All in all a real shame.

Excellent trip. Good value for money. Nice boat. My family really enjoyed the swim stops. Beautiful scenery and caves with a very informative guide. Seeing a turtle swimming in the sea was the icing on the cake.

The swim stops were very much welcomed on this very warm day. Lovely to have an opportunity to see some of the spectacular scenery on the coast. We were really pleased that our boat respected the rules of only 2 boats viewing turtles at a time, it was a pity that some of the smaller boats did not follow this. Despite being on the top deck, we did not manage to observe the turtles spotted during the visit. All in all it was a good trip and perfect for a warm day.

I really enjoyed seeing a turtle in its natural habitat. The 2 stops for swimming was great fun I really enjoyed jumping off the boat and having a swim. The only part which I didn't like was the way we spotted the Turtle as there were 3 tour boats boxing in the 1 turtle that we could find which seemed cruel. Also seeing the small island that the turtles nest on having boats and tourists on them was sad. Its the turtles habitat and they should have the safety of their island with no tourists.

The turtle cruise claimed to have a conservation element, but it just crowded the turtles (with the other boats) so much that we felt really sorry for them and didn't want to be part of it. The swim stops were in the middle of nowhere, with nothing to really see.

+ Je komt op plekken die je anders niet zo snel zou zien. Daarnaast hebben we enkele schildpadden kunnen zien en werd daar ook informatie over verteld op de boot. Er was genoeg schaduw op de boot wat er prettig was. - Er werd informatie verteld over de plekken waar we vaarden maar dat had meer gemogen(meer over de geschiedenis bv). Daarnaast stond er in de beschrijving dat je vrije tijd zou hebben in Keri maar dat was maar een kwartier terwijl wij dachten dat het meer zou zijn.

The trip overall was ok, but I’m torn on whether I would recommend. We saw one turtle, but the poor creature was so scared with at least 10 boats around it that it almost wouldn’t catch a breath. It was good to have the conservationists on board, but it was quite upsetting seeing so many boats on top of one turtle. The swim stops were nice.

Boat trip overall was good. 2 swim stops were great. The trip around turtle island was a little pointless, no stops no time to even look for turtles. Managed to see 1 turtle way off turtle island which really made the trip. But as this trip was mostly about the turtles i give this over all experiance a 6/10

Personally we would have liked the trip to be around one hour shorter. We were not going into the sea and do the option if this trip with no swim stops would have been perfect for us. The information from the turtle conservation group was very informative and we enjoyed seeing the turtles. The rep also provided lots of interesting about the island and the sights and the boat was great for shaded and sunny areas as required.

Was told the bus was from our hotel (in Kalamaki) to Laganas where we’d pick up the boat, which is approx 10 mins. We ended up being on the bus approx 45 mins & went from Zakynthos harbour instead! The boat was busy with people everywhere but that was to be expected. The guides were knowledgeable and helpful. We felt like although the whole country was “protecting” the turtles, when a sighting was made, the poor things were absolutely surrounded. And our boat was the biggest!

Vi tvivler på, at man havde respekt for skildpaddernes velfærd, eftersom båden var med til at omringe en skildpadde. Samt der var ingen “fritid” i Keri. Det var ikke muligt rigtig at se havet/skildpadderne fra båden, fordi det var så stor en båd med så mange mennesker.

Ondanks veel mensen, een relaxte sfeer en beleving op de boot. Mooie plekjes gezien met goede uitleg. De inzet om de schildpadden te kunnen spotten is positief en het resultaat drie te bewonderen uiteraard ook en erg leuk. De reisleidster, was duidelijk in uitleg. Beetje beleving naar de passagiers gemist. De boot prima en veilig. Behalve toen mijn man op het voordek van de boot op een stalen plaat wilde gaan zitten. Die zat los en viel tot onze ontzetting zo het water in. Wat als een kind ……

Picked up on time went on morning trip as it was hopefully cooler no time to shop or grab something food or gift as we got off boat told the buses would be leaving at 1pm so only 15mins had to walk to bus pickup but then had to wait luckily our bus was first to arrive out of the 4

We did spend quite a lot of time on the coach- especially the journey back to the hotel, it would have been useful to have known this. Unfortunately the boat also had technical issues which meant the last part was cut from the itinerary. The captain and the crew were amazing & worked very hard to sort it out

Loved the cruise. We were extremely lucky and had 10 sightings. It was 37 degrees so our boat offered an air con deck also. Overall it was a very enjoyable day out.

Very enjoyable trip, and made more user-friendly with having a guide. Only slight negative was that the pick up point was a little ambiguous with the naming. There are two locations with similar names within 30 yards of each other. We ended up waiting at the wrong location and were late arriving to the coach. The driver was very gracious about it though.

Trist utflykt pga dålig guidning. Vi bokade halvdagsttir med engelsk guidning men det var mest guidning på polska i väldigt skräpigt högtalare. Två trista badstopp med mörkt vatten då vi passerade flera så fina badvikar med härligt klart vatten men stannade i mörkt vatten så inget att se i cyklopen. Ingen av oss 6 personer som bokade detta kan rekommendera detta vidare. Sen lång väntan på busstransfern hem, helt onödigt då vi hade önskat åka hem direkt utan väntan.

A very enjoyable excursion. The swim stops were refreshing and the landscape made for stunning photos. We saw about 6 turtles in total. The Tui lady showed us exactly where they were. The experienced crew on the boat knew exactly how to to see it all without disturbing the beautiful turtles.

We thought that the trip was good value for money. We saw six or so turtles and the ship's crew treated them respectfully by keeping a distance from them. The on-board presentation by members of the turtle preservation volunteer group was very interesting indeed. We also thoroughly enjoyed the two stops for swimming off the boat.

Overall very good day but the original trip I booked on the 16 th of June was cancelled so I wasted 45 minutes waiting for the coach after messaging TUI I was informed the trip had been cancelled so I rebooked it for the following day which transpired I also booked my friend on the trip but the coach driver thought our pick up was at Herodotus supermarket not Herodotus studios he came back for us thankfully after that the trip went well and was very enjoyable.

Had a very angry bus driver did a lot of shouting, we were the last to board hence only seats on the bottom of the boat were available, we were on top of the engine room and it was very loud, plus when the rep was giving us information we could not hear anything. We are not swimmers so the hour stop for swimming was a waste of time when we could be looking for turtles. In the end one turtle was spotted which was very very disappointing

Your rep got us on the coach (no problem except boiling hot) whilst on the coach she announced that the boat would be at the dock until 13:30 so as some could stop for light refreshments which we did, at 13:18 the boat sailed without us ( my wife and my self) rather than wait for 4 hours plus we had to make our own way back to our resort and hotel. Very very disappointing, we often go on boat trips whilst away and were therefore upset

De gids was zo hees dat er via de microfoon niet veel van te verstaan was. Twee keer zwemmen zie ik als opvulling van de tocht. Mooi was wel het varen langs de kust. Als ik vooraf had geweten. Dat dit het is dan waren wij niet meegegaan. Beetje zonde van het geld. Daar komt nog bij dat de catering aan boord ook niet goedkoop is. Stevige prijzen worden gevraagd. Het is al met al geen succes voor ons.

What an awesome afternoon. Not too long, not too short. Not too long on the coach. The timings were perfect, we saw so much, got to swim in the beautiful sea twice jumping off the boat and swimming, not rushed just perfectly timed. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Ik vond het verschrikkelijk om met 120 man op een boot te zitten je kon niks zien als je middenop zat. 2 zwemstops vond ik onnodig dat vond ik tijdrekken 1 had ik prima gevonden. Ik vond het ook jammer dat de presentatie over de schildpadden in het Engels werd gedaan. Wij hadden een Nederlandse uitleg besproken Gelukkig vertelde Bianca in het Nederlands een verkorte versie Bianca de reisleidster was een leuk. Ik vond langs de grotten varen wel heel mooi.

Bij de zwemstops zijn bijna geen vissen te zien met snorkelen misschien op andere lokaties is dit wel het geval Op het schip waren reddingsvesten en drijfrollen aanwezig dit is als zeer positief ervaren De kapitein betrok alle opvarende tijdens het varen en was zeer toegankelijk de hostes Laura was enthousiast en kwam kundig over en deed er alles aan om een schildpad te lokaliseren

We were picked up 20 mins late which I get sometimes can’t be avoided. I was sceptical when I saw the big boat around the environmental side of things but there were many things that showed the turtles welfare was the main priority. Two fabulous swimming spots and good facilities on board. A wonderful cruise around the island in the open sea and then an incoming experience into Zakynthos town harbour. A really lovely afternoon and I would definitely recommend.

Het was erg leuk om deel te nemen aan deze boottocht, het personeel was allemaal erg vriendelijk en de gids vertelde veel over alles wat er te zien was. Eén nadeel vond ik wel dat er teveel mensen op de boot waren meegenomen waardoor ik en mijn partner geen zitplek meer konden vinden (veel mensen reserveerden ook direct een plekje door een tas etc. neer te leggen.) Dit zou wel verbeterd kunnen worden voor in de toekomst, want 4 uur staan op een boot kan wel een uitdaging zijn.

War keine DEUTSCHSPRACHIGE Tour. Die Informationen an Board über die Schildkröte und die Insel waren alles in Englisch. Teilweise auch in Holländisch. Die holländisch sprechende Mitarbeiterin war zwar bemüht, aber ihr Deutsch war nicht gut... Die Tour war ansonsten sehr schön, haben auch einige Schildkröten gesehen, die Bootscrew hat sich sehr bemüht....

Smaken verschillen nou eenmaal. De bus- en vaartocht zijn prima in orde. De excursie op zich is overdreven wat betreft schildpadden. Iedereen wil de schildpadden zien dus als deze zich eenmaal laten zien duiken er direct tig boten omheen. Niet erg diervriendelijk.

This cruise was fantastic in every way! Everything was well organised and the boat was quite spacious. We were 6 hrs from pick up to drop off and the cruise was cheaper than the first cruise to Smugglers Cove. Very enjoyable. A must for any tourist visiting Zakinthos!

Wij vonden het erg tegenvallen. Hebben 2 schildpadden gezien en bij de 2 stops om te zwemmen zijn we gestopt bij stukken waar je (als je je eigen snorkel mee had genomen want ze hebben geen snorkels mee aan boord) geen vis ziet zwemmen. Al met al viel het erg tegen.
