What to expect
Die Stadt Korcula wird auch als Klein-Dubrovnik bezeichnet und bietet eine Vielfalt an historischen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Zusammen mit der Weinerzeugungsregion Peljesac und der von einer Mauer umgebenen Ortschaft Ston gehört sie zu den Höhepunkten dieses faszinierenden Ausflugs.
Korcula liegt auf einer Halbinsel im Nordosten der großen Insel Korcula. Nach einem kurzen Halt in Ston gelangen wir mit einer Bootsfahrt ab Orebic über die Adria dorthin. Im Inneren der honigfarbenen Stadtmauern angekommen, erwarten Sie ein Stück altes Kroatien mit den typischen, roten Fliesendächern und mit Marmor gepflasterten Gassen.

Le guide était super ! Il nous a fait découvrir la très jolie ville de Korcula avec une petite touche d'humour. Nous avons passé une journée très agréable en famille ! La petite dégustation de vin était bien sympathique. Même s'il n'égale pas notre vin français, nous avons tout de même apprécié le vin rouge. Merci également au chauffeur qui a été parfait !

tres belle decouverte de la côte croate avec ce trajet jusqu'aux jolis villages arrêt a ston aurait peut êtrre pu être un peu plus long pour découvrir l'histoire et approcher la muraille mais cela aurait peut etre été au détriment de korcula la magnifique donc sans regret !

La beauté des paysages, le rythme de l'excursion. Par contre pas du tout aimé le bornage de mon téléphone en Bosnie pour un coup de 60 euros. Je ne pense pas être le seul à m'être fait piéger.Le guide , vôtre responsable des organisations doivent bien savoir que ce type de désagréments arrivent sur ce trajet vue l'extrême proximité de la Bosnie. De plus je lui ai signalé ma mésaventure,sa réponse :fallait me mettre en mode avion. C'était peut-être à elle de me prévenir,non? Quelle désinvolture

We enjoyed the tour on the whole visiting 2 beautiful places. As a personal preference, would’ve liked just a little more time in Ston. Half an hour is not enough time to explore and gave a drink so a bit rushed. Maybe just 15 mins more in Ston which I don’t think would take away from time spent in Korcula. A long day but worth it.

Le climat le pays est superbe l'hôtel aussi piscine calme à voir beaucoup d'enfants manque de plateau pour le service des repas tout transporter à la main pas évident sinon le personnel est très souriant passer un agréable séjour

Trotz gebuchter deutschsprachiger Reiseleitung wurden wir nur in englischen und französischen Bussen herumgereicht. Es fiel kein einziges Wort auf Deutsch. Wir konnten das Französische nicht verstehen, fühlten uns wie Gäste zweiter Klasse und fragen uns: Wozu wählt man bei der Buchung überhaupt eine Sprache aus? Man hätte uns vorher informieren müssen. Die Tour ist solide aber kein Muss: Von Ston haben wir kaum etwas gesehen und Korcula ist ganz nett. Fazit: Kann man machen, muss man aber nicht!

erneut erfolgte die Abholung mit einer 15 min. Verspaetung, allerdings nur nach einem Anruf beim Tui Mitarbeiter vor Ort. Obwohl die Tour auf eng. gebucht war, waren mindestens 50 % auf franz. Die Reiseleiterin hat alle Texte abgelesen, wenig autentisch. Die avisierte Flasche Wasser gab es ebenfals nicht. Organisation mangelhaft, Reiseleiterin ueberflussig, Inhalte [Orte etc) sehr gut.

Excursion to ston was a waste of time! Salt mine was closed just a man standing outside of it selling bags of salt! The whole excursion went ahead on a national holiday so all the shops were closed where we were visiting! Guide was very rude and abrupt! And spent most of the time talking in Croatian to the bus driver! The driver himself was obviously in a hurry to get back he drove quite eracticly we thought! Over taking unsafe, speeding, we felt quite sick to be honest. Waste of money!

Bus driver was excellent, felt very safe with his driving. Tour guide was very good, would have been helpful to have some info about the local flora and fauna. Scenery was amazing. Unfortunately it rained when we were on the island but it was very beautiful all the same. Enjoyed sampling the local wines.

Le circuit peut se passer de l'arrêt pour dégustation de vin, aucun intérêt. Je pensais visiter les vignes et avoir l'histoire du vignoble. Cela n'a pas été le cas. Dégustation au pas de course et oui un autre groupe attends derrière nous. Le guide ferai mieux de changer de métier. Hormis nous dire que les hommes croates sont des alcooliques et des fainéants. Peu d'explication sur les lieux visités pourtant splendides. Elle commençait ses quelques commentaires sans attendre que le groupe comple

Guide faisant partager ses connaissances historiques et anecdotiques dans un langage français et anglais parfaits. Le seul reproche que je pourrais faire était de ne pas avoir des arrêts du car, même rapides, lorsque les monuments (Ex. : Le pont réunissant les deux parties de la Croatie), vues permettant de faire des photos. Nous étions très heureux d'avoir ce guide et non celle de l'autre bus, une catastrophe, dont vous parlerons d'autres usagers.

I had done this trip the year before. I like the views from the coach from Cavtat to Korcula and is a great day out. Our guide Sanja was excellent!! But due to time of boat to Korcula we were given a short time at Ston which is an authentic Croatian town.I would have liked another 30 to 45 mins extra in Ston.However the day out was brilliant and I recommend it to any traveller who likes history and sightseeing.

Enjoyed every moment of this tour. Great guide (Sonya) and Driver (Josef) Well balanced with plenty of free time to enjoy Korcula and the Wine tasting. Maybe a little longer at Ston but understand we had a boat to catch. Sonya was excellent. It was a mixed group of English and French and she handled it really well. Must have been very tiring for her having to speak in two languages all the time. Would highly recommend this trip.

The Guide Tom was excellent, kept us informed for both French and English people. He was friendly and amusing, as well as a fountain of knowledge. The coach looked older, however the driver was great and we did have air conditioning. Most important!

Korcula was breathtaking from start to finish. Only negative was that we had a guided tour which was split into two groups english and French speaking. We had the tour last and was advised to go to the left to explore and come back two hours later. The tour took us in the areas we had already visited in our free time. Overall it was fantastic and guide friendly.

Nice mix of coach tour up to Korcula, boat trip across to the island (only a few minutes) and a walk around the island (time to eat and a guided tour around for about an hour). Then finished up with the wine tasting at Peljesac on the way back.

Transfert ALLER nous avons été pris en charge à l'aéroport , on nous a donné un billet de bateau puis mis dans une navette et ensuite on nous a déposé au port: sortez c'est ICI mais sans que personne ne puisse nous dire quel bateau prendre. Heureusement que je parle anglais pour trouver ce bateau! Arrivés à destination, une navette devait nous attendre pour les bagages ... PERSONNE! Je suis partie avec deux personnes dont ma mère de 76 ans, heureusement que mon fils était là pour nous aider!

Les visites guidées de Ston et Korkula étaient super, notre guide était vraiment très intéressant. Par contre, l'arrêt au musée du vin et la dégustation n'avaient aucun intérêt : les objets présentés sont les mêmes que chez nous et le vin n'était pas bon.

Visite intéressante mais beaucoup trop longue. 1h de temps libre a Ston, c'est trop. 2h a Korcula également. Trop de monde dans cette excursion ou il est très difficile d’ente´dre le guide qui commence ces explications alors que.nous ne sommes pas encore sortis du bus. Panier repas fourni par l’hôtel digne d’une colonne de vacances.

The experience was advertised as an English tour, but it was mostly conducted in French because 95% of the group were French-speaking. Had I known this, I would have cancelled. The guide tried, but on the coach I couldn’t focus on the limited English commentary due to the constant French narration. The bus was almost full, yet my family of three — including my disabled wife and young daughter — were forced to sit apart. Several passengers kept bags on empty seats and refused to move them.

Très bien dans l'ensemble mais beaucoup trop de monde sur l'îlot de "la vierge au rocher" et pas assez de temps dans la ville de KORCULA (1h15). Le trajet en bateau était très long pour le peu de temps que nous avons passé sur place. La guide était très bien !

The island of Korcula was beautiful. The guide was very knowledgeable of the area and history. We had been led to believe when booking that there would be food at the winery visit. This was actually tiny pieces of bread and jam and a few dry crackers. Had we known this we would have had lunch at one of the many restaurants in the centre of Korcula.

Excursion où beaucoup de temps dans le bus, la guide commente en français et en anglais; le passage d'une langue à l'autre fait rater les éléments commentés. De plus, il n'y a pas d'accompagnement sur ce qu'il faut visiter que cela soit à Ston ou bien à Korcula. Korcula reste un très joli village, à voir. La dégustation de vin n'a aucun intérêt.

it was a good excursion. But we were disappointed that the guide Sandra focused most of her attention on the French guests.. As we departed to take the boat back to the mainland. Sandra was the last person to arrive kept us all waiting and made no apology.. I would recommend you remove the wine history tour from the itinerary as it was very boring

No working seatbelts on the coach at the back. H & Safety issue. Couldn't always hear talks especially when standing under church tower with bells chiming. Wine tasting experience very disappointing. Would have preferred to stay in Ston a lot longer instead.

Apres retour de Korcula avons récupéré le car non climatisé, celui-ci est resté en plein soleil. La clim du car a mis plus d'une heure pour atteindre une température supportable. Dommage.

Notre guide Sonia nous a fait passer une excellente journée, en partageant sa passion pour son pays et toutes ses petites anecdotes, tout au long des visites. Le trajet fut un peu long avec la passage dans plusieurs hôtels ou souvent les accès en car sont périlleux. L'arrêt au retour pour la dégustation de vin n'est pas indispensable , surtout pour des Français, nous aurions préféré avoir plus de temps pour une visite de Korcula a notre rythme.

Une excursion variée car nous visitons deux villes et nous avons fini par une dégustation de vins. Dommage, peu de temps sur la ville de STON mais assez sur KORCULA. Visite agréable mais départ très tôt de l'hôtel. Par ailleurs, le prix de l'excursion n'est pas le même sur le catalogue et à l'hôtel. Le guide était bien.

Korcula was beautiful. However it was not explained that we would spend 8.5 hours of the say on a coach or ferry. We were needlessly asked to arrive at Gruz fir 7.15 pick up. We were then driven round a series if hotels for over an hour only to drve past Gruz again at 8.30. 85 minutes of our day wasted. Then a further 5 hours on a coach there and back before being dropped back at Gruz 90 minutes before the next ferry back to Kolocep. 3 hours in Korcula. A pointless wine tasting. €180.

Nous avons aimé la découverte de Korcula par la beauté de la ville. Néanmoins, très touristique donc peu d'immersion avec la population croate. Nous n'avons pas toujours entendu les explications de la guide (un guide pour un bus de 50 personnes semble très peu). La dégustation des vins à Peljesac ne nous était pas nécessaire. Nous aurions préféré continuer notre route vers un village typique croate.

I enjoyed the tour but the guide isn’t among the best guides I’ve experienced over the years He was over twenty minutes late in arriving at the hotel without any notification about delays in arriving, then didn’t really apologise other than saying it was a busy day. I was expecting a bottle of water as promised in the description of the tour, I’m still waiting. I’ll certainly travel to a TUI holiday again but hope I never experience the same guide (very poor customer care)

Ce que j'ai moins aimé : le temps libre à Korkula : ********** court - A la coopérative de Peljesac : pas de jus de fruits proposés aux enfants et aux personnes ne buvant pas d'alcool. J'ai eu un jus de fruits parce que j'ai demandé si quelque chose était prévu pour les personnes ne buvant pas d'alcool mais rien n'a ensuite été proposé aux autres à part de l'eau

The places visited were very interesting and our guide provided a wealth of information and history. I appreciate that the coach seats have to be maximised, but a lot of time was taken up making pick ups and drop offs, especially as we were the second pick up and the last drop off.

Très belle excursion à Korcula et Ston combinées. Korcula vaut vraiment le détour: la petite ville et les alentours au bord de l’eau sont charmants. Profitez du temps libre pour descendre près des rochers pour vous baigner. La visite à Ston était très courte et nous n’avons pas eu le temps de voir les remparts. La cave à vin n’est pas extraordinaire mais nous avons apprécié la dégustation. Je recommande.

Heavy rain for most of morning spoilt experience somewhat as we hadnt packed waterproofs! Maybe Tui could have a supply of umbrellas for use on such occasions. We loved Korcula but spent much of our time keeping out of the rain. The guide was clear & knowledgable but a slight misunderstanding with another member of our group made the tour feel a little awkward thereafter, not handled well by either party. Enjoyed wine tasting but French & English were segregated for this unnecesserally. No water

The boat ride and Korcula Island I enjoyed very much. The wine tasting was very rushed. The English translation of the tasting and Museum Tour was very poor, and not as detailed as the guide given in French to the rest of the group. There was no time given to look around the wine museum. There was no bottle of water given out as per the Itinerary TUI provided and the temperature was 33C. There was no information given by the Guide where we could fill up water bottles or buy water from.

Partly due to a traffic accident near Dubrovnik, the trip took 12 hours, 7 of which we spent on the coach. We had anticipated more time on a boat (2 ten minute small ferry trips to and from Korcula. Although 2 1/2 hours on the coach was due to the traffic, it was still too long on the coach. Guides (Tui and local) were excellent. Korcula was a great place too

I still don't know what the Legend is BUT Korclua is a pretty small walled historic town. The stops there and back are marketed as "visits" but really just loo breaks and an opportunity to maximise commission on wine sale. Korcula = A+ The rest = C at best.

Good value for money; the drive towards Korcula through the Peljesac penninsula let us experience the beautiful countryside north of Dubrovnik. Everything was well organised. Both the local guide and our main guide Tomasz were knowledgeable and interesting. There was a good amount of free time on Korcula. The wine tasting and wine museum on the way home was also very good. The trip was dual language and the French guests talked throughout the English commentary - but that wasn't TUI's fault!

Enjoyed stop at Ston but would have liked a bit longer. Loved Korcula & local guide was very nice but her voice was too quiet & often couldn't hear what she was saying. Weren't too keen on the wine museum & found the wine too dry but it suited some people's taste. We were told we would have a bottle of water for the trip so didn't take any. As we weren't given any we had to spend time in Ston finding somewhere to buy water when we could have been sight seeing.

The guides fantastic and Korcula Town was great The only drawback was the wine tasting. It took too long to go round the museum as the presentation was in 2 languages. Also when the poured the white , rose and red, some got a fair sample while others got barely a mouth full. I was the latter. It would be better to use proper measures to ensure everyone got the same amount. Also the ticket stated you would get a bottle of water each, there was none. Luckily we took some of our own.
