Delight your taste buds by sampling local wine and tasty snacks at the state-of-the-art visitor centre. Next, you'll head for lunch to a traditional Cretan restaurant by the sea, where food is prepared using locally sourced products. Plus, you'll have some time to relax on the blond sands of blissful Falassarna beach, which, says Vasso, ‘has been voted as one of the best beaches in Europe several times'.You'll then be taken to the Biolea Estate, a family-owned olive oil factory that specialises in the artisan production of organic olive oil. Die Tour hat mir sehr gut gefallen - insbesondere die Weinverkostung und die Olivenplantage. Insgesamt wurde der Ausflug mit dem Mittagessen und dem Strandbesuch zu lang. Beim Mittagessen ging es nur um Massenabfertigung - das Essen an sich war aber in Ordnung.

Bis zum Olivenöltasting war die Tour fein! Die Olivenplantage war ein wunderschöner Ort, an dem wir sehr gern noch verweilt hätten und zB in dem zauberhaften Garten einen Kaffee getrunken hätten. Danach wurde es nämlich unfassbar: Fahrt in eine "Taverne" die einer ganz schlechten Kantine glich. Das "landestypische Menü" war bis auf den Salat ungenießbar und wurde lieblos in einem Tempo "serviert" dass nichts mit einer entspannten Atmosphäre zu hat. Hier sollte die TUI ihre Partner überdenken!

Die Programmpunkte "Kloster", "Weinprobe" und "Olivenproduktion" waren ausgezeichnet, ebenso wie die Führerin, die exzellent begleitet hat. Leider wurde die Tour durch den Strandbesuch in Summe zu lang und die Qualität des Mittagessens war äußerst schlecht.
