This trip was travel to & from Kos only. No guide. Picked up at 8.35am from hotel and dropped off in Kos town. Trip should have been a half day but it was a Bank Holiday- Oxi day & as roads were closed, we had until 3.20pm to spend our own time & way. Walked to the Odeon & the Western Archaeological site. We watched the Oxi day parade. Had coffee & ice cream & bought some gifts. Lovely weather & day.

It’s basically an expensive bus service from the hotel to Kos. One point, driver going to Kos was on his phone while driving which didn’t feel safe.

It would have been helpful if we had a guide to show us the main attractions of the City. We still enjoyed the visit beautiful, lots of shops and restaurants, the yachts were amazing. There is also a beautiful church which was lovely to just sit peacefully.

We did enjoy Kos Town and was looking forward to the excursion. However we was expecting to have more time in Kos to really enjoy the town, we felt a bit rushed with trying to see everything the town had to offer, we was always checking the time and ultimately we did not enjoy the whole experience. There was no Tui rep to let us know timings the poor driver had to figure it out himself. You put 4-8hours in the excursion. You should be more specific on times so people can make the choice.

We were picked up on time. As we were the first pick up we had 90 mins travel each way. We had 3.5 hours in Kos,which seemed a bit rushed when we ate in this time too. Drop off and collection was in a convenient,central location.

Great day out, coach arrived on time and the same for the pick up from Kos Town. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, the only thing I would have liked is an additional hour or two as we didn’t get to see all that the town had to offer. The cost for the excursion was extremely reasonable considering the distance our hotel was from the town and I would assume that the price of private transport would’ve have cost a lot more. Great day, highly recommended . :-)

Even though was the first pick up and last drop off the day wasn't too long. The town was lovely but would be nice to be given a map or pointers as to where to head towards and see. Lots of nice places to eat or drink overlooking the harbour.

Day out was great! I think you need to revise what your bus stops are named though! The bus didn’t pick up from our hotel which was no problem, the pick up point was named the Princess of Kos hotel with no longer exists (named something else now) and said main road cafe, which wasn’t the name of the cafe but, presumably, what the local bus drivers call it. Not even our reception staff knew where we had to go and no postcode was provided.

Picked up at the hotel as arranged. Guide didn't speak very good English and we had to ask what time we were being collected. No drama, just would have appreciated being told rather than having to ask. Kos was nice, lots of interesting shops in the Old Town, plenty of good places to eat/drink. Roman remains also nice to see.

There was no seat belts on the bus and we were collected at 8.40am and return pick up was 1.30. It was a very rushed experience and more time is definately required. Not enough time to see everything or to eat a meal either.

Kos town is a great place to visit ,a couple more hours was needed as I felt you had to rush. The castle is free so always a bonus. Downside was our bus change on the return and I felt the bus driver could tell his passengers this before we all left the bus as a few of us was standing there for a while until we realised.

Liked the quick service from Porto Bello Beach Hotel to Kos, with only 1 stop. Coach driver was friendly and made clear when, where, what bus number and driver on collection/return. Lots to do in Kos Town. A map and recommendations would have been helpful. Also air conditioning on coach on return would also have been much appreciated.

Our driver spoke very little english, so there was no information about where we were in relation to the town centre or harbour etc. at drop off. He struggled to communicate the pick up time. the time on the ground is not long enough. the air conditioning on the coach was not switched on, leading to a number of passengers including my whole family feeling sick throughout. Overall next time will book with an alternative provider to actually receive some local knowledge and a bus with air con

Please warn people that the public toilets are charged to use, very very hot so lots of protection from that needs to be advised. Busy bustly town, definitely for families during the day, you can see it's lovely at night.

It was a great way to see some of Kos. It was an unguided tour but what would have been useful would have been a map of the town- just an electronic map that could be downloaded before the trip with the basic tourist info such as old Town harbour, museum etc.

I think it is a good place to visit but maybe some more guidance or top top places to visit would help people as we roamed around for a while. Also it would be useful if the coach driver told the group what number bus will be returning on collection. Overall we had a nice time but would have maybe visited at the beginning of the holiday as other excursions are on offer that locals are selling and would be nice to have choice rather than book through tui due to cost.

Kos town is lovely & the 4 hour time allowance was enough to view the ruins, castle, have a meal & walk through the shops. The coach was late picking us up & there was slight confusion because it wasn’t the same vehicle or number. Overall, a nice morning out.

Absolutely brilliant. Arrived in Kos just after 9:30 and were told where to meet the coach at 1:30. No hiccups and the driver was absolutely lovely, we saw him driving again another day and he pipped his horn and waved because he remembered us! Excellent value for money and you don't have to stress about taxis and you can do what you want with the time.

Whilst the price was good, I don’t feel there was enough time to truly get to see the beauty of Kos and what it had to offer. By the time you’d eaten, there wasn’t a lot of time to see the sites and do a bit of shopping. Doubling the time there would have made the experience more enjoyable and not rushed. There is a lot to see but very little time to see it.

The bus ride was fine and reasonably priced we went from portobello royal hotel at Helona beach If you want to see the ancient sites and castle avoid Tuesdays as they are all shut The shops and bars and many boat trips were open though and beers were about €5 a bottle

Really interesting, I definitely recommend going to Neratzia castle and the plane tree of Hippocrates. Just be aware it is a long day if you’ve got something else planned in the evening and it gets very hot!

Much cheaper than a taxi and no messing around. Arrived on time took around an hour to get into kos. Plenty of time to go shopping and have some lunch. When we arrived the driver told us they would be picking us back up at 13:30, we made a note of our coach number. When we were waiting for our coach to arrive several others did, luckily we checked with the drivers of other coaches as the number had changed due to ours being delayed but no-one bothered to tell us or even get off to tell anyone

The coaches are comfortable with good drivers. Time of departure from hotell 0830 and arrival at Kos town 0930 perfect. 4hrs to meander and see the harbour/town and historic monuments was just about right. All in all a great trip out.

Coach had air conditioning and the journey to and from Kos Town was pleasant. The driver made sure everyone understood what number coach and time of return journey. The walk from and to the coach park was ok for us but might be a bit difficult for less able people.

Cost was £12, coach picked up at 0830 and we got to Kos Town at approx 0930. Tbh you can walk around do a bit of shopping then not much else to do except grab some food and a drink. Coach left Kos town at 1330 and back at resort for about 1430. It was fine if you want a coach trip to get some lunch otherwise wouldn’t worry about it

Beautiful place to visit for a half day! Can see how night experience may differ by lights in old town. Anyway....half day am collection and drop for 4hrs ample time to explore marina, Old Town, etc. Great restaurants but the odd pushy one near marina was a pain in the ass, Socrates so skip that one! Old Town was awesome, shop customer service awesome and collection to and from hotel was on time, seemless, and perfectly organised. Do this trip you won't regret it!

Pick up was 8:30 and we were in Kos town 9:30. The driver told us we would be collected at 1:30. So we had 4 hours to explore the town. We were dropped off at a very accessible spot, by the harbour. The driver told us which way to go to get to the ruins and town itself. 4 hours was just about right to get a good idea of the town, so shopping, sit by the harbour with a coffee people watching.

Kos Town is well worth a visit, your dropped off at the centre beside the castle walls. The old town and ancient ruins all within walking distance. The atmosphere was lovely. We were lucky enough to be there while a local musician played a violin, some teenage school kids spontaneously started Greek dancing. It was a wonderful. There’s no guide, so remember to take note of your coach number as there’s quite a few TUI coaches and it can be confusing.

The trip was great however given totally the wrong information on which bus to get back and had a lot of bemused holiday makers. We were told to take the same bus back and it would be at the same point as drop off point. But a totally different bus waiting for us and no communication…. Very good experience - bus drops you off near the castle and you have around 3-4 hours to explore Kos Town on your own. Lots of nice cafes and bars to go to and the bus driver made it very clear about where he would be and at what time we needed to be back on the bus. Good value for money as a taxi would cost way more than the bus transfer.

Really enjoyed the freedom we had during the day. The trip gives you plenty of time to explore Kos town, to wander and enjoy the shops and cafe culture, while bringing you back to luxury of your chosen sunbed by the hottest part of the afternoon. Our travel back was seamless and the bus air conditioned. There was limited input from staff but really all that is needed is the location and pickup time. Perhaps clearer communication about which bus is picking you up would be helpful.

Contrary to previous reviews; each coach we saw was clearly labelled with the service being provided and it was well communicated by the driver when and where we were picked up (where we were dropped off). Journey was fine and the coach is well air conditioned. Well worth 11 euros to have a safe secure transport from and to the hotel. Kos is an easy town to explore and we found the time limit to be perfect for us. You can walk most of the town and sit for lunch/drinks with time to spare.

Great value transfer from our hotel direct to Kos Town. Plenty of time to explore and look around the shops. We were dropped off and told to be back at that spot for 1:30pm. When we arrived for pickup there was mass confusion and numerous Tui buses picking up at the same time. We weren’t told which bus would return us. It was a case of asking every driver. (We returned on a different coach to the one that took us)

Great to visit somewhere new and interesting. Excellent history with architecture and buildings to back it up. Very easy to walk around both the historical sites throughout the town but also along the coast line taking in the harbour. Didn't like the time it took to get there which included a delay at one of the pick ups closest to the town. The rep didn't seem organised. Would have preferred a shorter tour time to enable us to return to our hotel for a late lunch.

It would have been nice to have a guide on the coach giving some information about the island, or at least hand a map out of Kos town with ideas of where to go. Kos town is lovely and definitely worth a visit.

Overall the trip was good. The only downside was the length. The time in Kos town could have been at least 2hrs longer. We got there around 9.30am and departure time was 1.30 pm... 1-2hrs longer would be perfect

Transfer only so not much to go wrong. Was good value for money and the trip was fine there and back. What could have improved the process was a bit of info about what time pick up was when booking and bus number to look out for on the return. There were quite a few picks ups so took over an hour to get there. A bit of info about where to visit on arrival could have also enhanced the experience.

The transport to Kos Town was much easier than by public transport, there is a change required in Kardamaina if going by local buses, with delays in between. By Tui’s tour it is direct and from the hotel reception. Unfortunately going on Tuesday means you will miss out on the historical attractions (museum, archaeological site, old town castle / fort) as they are all closed on Tuesday’s - bad timing on Tui’s account and should be looked at. £11 each is not too expensive compared public buses

Kos town is beautiful with some ancient port fortifications and some lovely boats in the harbour. There was no organised tour guide per se so we were left to wander on our own, which was nice. Mostly we used the time for shopping. What was not especially enjoyable were the journeys to and from the hotel. Clearly, economics dictate the number of coaches and pickups: we had a 90 minute journey to Kos. Coming back was quicker but the aircon on the coach was not working.

Pick up was good, at hotel and on time. Kos town was not as described by our Tui rep in my opinion. It felt like a tacky Spanish Town with bars and excessive drinking. The marina was beautiful. We probably missed the best part as we were not given advice. The return was awful, bus stop with lots of people all getting on different buses, not clear which one was ours. The bus was different on return, no aircon. Disappointing trip

We enjoyed Kos town, but it was pretty much just like ordering a bus or taxi to take us there and back. Coach was on time, clean and airy. Driver was clear on what time we had to be back. It might have been nice to have a bit of info on the town and the places recommended to visit beforehand though.

Fantastic holiday, I was travelling as a solo parent with two children and I felt safe and at ease throughout the holiday. The hotel was perfect, both myself and children really enjoyed it. I would definitely book with TUI again.

Don’t book through TUI . It cost £11.00 per person return journey leaving 8.30 in the morning. Busses run approximately every 15 to 20 minutes we decided to go when we wanted at only €3.50 per person. Lovely town but don’t waste your money booking through TUI.

We enjoyed exploring the island and seeing the different areas in kos we enjoyed soekarno shopping ,grabbing a bit of lunch and having dip in the sea, it would have been nicer if we had a tour guide to help us discover more, worrying about getting back for bus in time but over all it was a good trip would do it again.
