There's more to Phuket than amazing beaches. This trip shows off another side of the island, its colourful culture. You'll visit Wat Chalong temple, taste local treats and visit Thalong Road. Panya, a local expert guide, says “you'll see all sides of life in Phuket on this tour. Learn about our biggest farming industries, including pearls, cashews and rice, and spend time with a local family for some Thai home-cooking.” Kick off the tour by visiting Rang Hill for panoramic views stretching across Phuket town and out to the coast. Continue on to Wat Chalong, the island's most revered Buddhist temple, and gaze at its golden statues. Then, it's on to see how some of the country's favourite delicacies, cashew nuts, are produced. You'll go to a factory and see how the locally grown nuts are plucked from yellow cashew apples, before being roasted and peeled for eating.Next, stroll along the famous Thalong Road and see its blend of Chinese and Portuguese architecture and Chinese influence. Keep an eye out for an early 20th-century mansion featured in the hit Hollywood movie, Good Morning Vietnam. Find out about one of Phuket's most important industries at a pearl farm, followed by a tasty Thai lunch. Finally, it's on to a typical home where there'll be a rubber tapping demo, plus a quick lesson on how to whip up the perfect Thai curry.

Nicht gefallen hat uns die Perlenfabrik. Verkaufsveranstaltung nach kurzer Erklärung. Allein wegen dieser Veranstaltung hätte der Preis für die Tour subventioniert werden müssen. Die versprochenen Ziele der Tour wurden angefahren und waren soweit O.k. Wir hätten uns mehr Zeit in der Altstadt von Phuket gewünscht, statt Perlenverkauf. Highlight das gute Essen auf der Old Phuket Farm. Tolle Gastgeber super Essen.

Großartig abgestimmte, sowohl von der Anfahrt als auch von der Thematik Highlights der Insel Pukhet. Umfangreiche Versorgung mit Getränken Schmackhaftes landestypisches Mittagessen in ruhiger Umgebung Aufmerksamer Service von Fahrer und Guide mit viel Wissen Gerne hätte ich 1/2 Std Zeit zum Shoppen und zum Beduch der Märkte in Pukhet gehabt

Presque 3h pour arriver sur place car il a fallu passer prendre d’autres clients dans 2 hôtels. Fabrique de perles est un magasin qui donne un minimum d’explications. La vielle ferme était intéressante. Le point de vue sur la colline était franchement pas très beau. Les singes, sans intérêt le lunch vraiment pas terrible, boisson une petite bouteille d’eau par personne et la vieille maison Chinoise franchement sans intérêt réel.

Schöne empfehlenswerte Tour. Man erfährt viel über Insel und Region. Ein paar Verkaufsstopps sind dabei, Perlenzucht und Cashewfarm. ;) Netter Guide mit guten Deutschkenntnissen. Leckeres Mittagessen. Die Besichtigung eines Strandes wäre schön gewesen.

Excellent day out with a brilliant guide. One thing that would have improved my experience was, as it was a 2.5 hr journey to get from my hotel to Phuket, it would have been a great improvement if we could have stopped for a coffee to break the journey up.

Reiseleitung und Fahrer war/en schonmal besser. Stadtrundgang in der Alt Stadt Phuket durch starke Hitze, hätte man zeitlich besser planen müssen. Zu wenig Versorgung mit Wasser für eine Ganztagestour. 3 winzig kleine Wasserflaschen waren einfach nicht ausreichend.

,The highlights of the visit to the Chinese House and Thai Farm, although a shopping opportunity the Pearl Factory was interesting and Cashew nuts similar but much more tempting to buy as delicious and The Thai farm a sort of living museum was greatI had never before seen rubber taping, or rice growing or water buffalo. The guide was very informative. Lunch lovely by a lake. The only down side is it is a long day due to traffic issues in Phuket.

Der letzte Teil auf der Farm mit dem Mittagessen und die Informationen waren überragend. Der Guide hat sehr viele Informationen geliefert. In Phuket Stadt könnte mehr Zeit zum shopping etc eingeplant werden und dafür die Perlenfabrik rausnehmen! Das war miserabel und absolut nicht empfehlenswert. Keine Erklärung und nur damit ich etwas kaufe kann ich mir diesen Stopp ersparen.

Leider war der Big Buddha entgegen dem Programm nicht Teil der Reise, obwohl er geöffnet hatte. Der Punkt wurde von TUI ersatzlos gestrichen und trotzdem wurde der volle Preis für alle vier Personen kassiert. Das fanden wir schon schlecht zumal TUI mit dieser Attraktion den Ausflug aktiv bewirbt. Am Tag vorher versicherte uns der TUI Mitarbeiter vor Ort, dass der Punkt auf jeden Fall dabei ist. Das fanden wir sehr schlecht. Wir werden daher keinen Ausflug mehr mit TUI machen sondern lokale Guide

Phuket explorer is a great way to gain knowledge & understanding of Thai culture. Sadly we couldn’t see the big Buddha because of heavy rain & a landslide but another equally beautiful Buddha replaced it. We had fun jumping on & off our bus to see the different locations with fortune telling & making a wish with fire crackers!! Our guide & driver provided us with water & the food was delicious. I would not recommend this trip for families with small children as it involves a lot of listening.

Der Guide war insgesamt gut, aber der Chinesisch Tempel in Phuket wurde nicht gezeigt, des Weiteren hat es geregnet und wir waren schon sehr nass, da hat der Guide uns stehen lassen und gesagt das wir uns in 20 min die Straße runter treffen. Es wäre gut gewesen wenn er uns was aufgezeigt hätte wo es trocken gewesen wäre.

Great day , the big Buddha was a great site , temple buildings were fascinating , cashew nut tour was interesting with some great treats to buy , colonial house had beautiful furniture and a great insite into history, the walk old town Phuket was very nice , great lunch , Phuket farm to see the rubber production also seeing many plants was so interesting ,the Thai house was great , our guide was brilliant all day he didn’t stop with great information thank Kang , for me drop the pearl farm
