Ohrid is fully decorated with historical, cultural and religious gems. Some of these remainings date back to from the antiquity. With its specific architecture, Ohrid attracts a growing number of tourists each year, but being an alternative destination still remains calm. Since 1979, the old city and the lake of Ohrid are both listed as UNESCO world heritage.After meeting your guide in the Ohrid main square, your tour will begin. During this city tour you'll visit various highlights, such as the statue of St. Kliment, the boulevard, the 13th century church of St. Sofija, amphitheater and many more. After a coffee break, you'll further explore the vibrant old city, until you reach the world-famous church St. John Kaneo. Located on the steep rock above the shiny blue lake, this church is described by the Dutch writer A. den Doolaard, as the place where heaven and earth meet each other.Your guide will enlighten your knowledge with the fascinating stories of the city throughout the tour, making your visit to Ohrid unforgettable.

The guide was very knowledgeable, and made sure to take stop breaks on the hills of old town so it wasn't too much for some of the attendees. There wasn't anything I didn't like about the tour itself,and prior to the tour the local Tui rep was good at double checking people had chosen the right date as they also run the tours in Dutch.
