I enjoyed looking at the sky with the naked eye but the telescope was not strong enough. Having an evening with everyone talking one language would be better. It was a bit off putting having someone continually talking over each other.

Spijtig dat het bewolkt was en we geen sterren of planeten konden spotten. Enkel Mars even gezien. De professionele uitleg heeft dit echter ruim gecompenseerd. Ik had zelf de app Skyview om dat sterren en planeten virtueel te kunnen localiseren.

We were luckily the clouds moved away quickly otherwise we would not have seen much. Beyond anyone’s control and the staff kept us entertained anyway 2 very knowledgeable I struggled on the sand to lay down but the men were very helpful Great that they have WiFi there to use the sky gazing app

Very efficient mini bus driver. Meal and drinks ok, well structured with star gazing in between courses. Good, knowledgable experts, answered our questions and made the trip enjoyable. Learnt a lot and would recommend for an engaging evening. It happened to be a full moon so we got some good photos through the telescope on our cameras but this did make the sky lighter to spot the other constellations.

We had a good night and the reps etc are very good and made us very welcome. Overall a bit on the pricey side-which probably applied to each of the trips we went on and stopped us doing one or two more events.

We were not picked up for the tour. We waited over an hour contacted TUI by the app then had to telephone. The operator was unable to give me any information and promised to contact me again advising to continue to wait. No-one picked us up or contacted us. Next day we spoke to TUI rep who said she was notified the afternoon before but had been at another hotel I asked why we had not been informed via the app she said it was her responsibility to send the message but didn't. Very disappointing

Bus hat uns und ein anderes Ehepaar, nicht abgeholt. ABFAHRT HOTEL 19.15 um 19.45 bei TUI angerufen, sollten auf Rückruf warten. Um 20.30 haben wir dann in unserem hotel gegessen. Kein Wort der Entschuldigung nur Umbuchung auf anderen Termin. Schlechte Leistung

Man sollte vielleicht vorher sagen, dass der Begrüßung Drink zu den beiden Freigetränken gehört. Gläser mit Getränken wurden bereits abgeräumt, obwohl sie noch nicht ausgetrunken waren. Insgesamt sehr hektischer Ablauf. Hatte eher einen Abzockercharakter.

Overall excellent evening star gazing, guides very knowledgeable. Enjoyed the food and drinks. Only down side was how cold the wind was, we’re given blankets but still painfully cold. Tui reps should let people know could be cold, and to take warm clothing.

Although the staff did their best and were knowledgeable, you couldn't escape the basic problem that the night sky had thick cloud. A lot of time was spent awaiting breaks in the cloud cover to look for the stars and planets. The beach restaurant was very basic, the toilets likewise with crude washing facilities and no towels of any kind. The bbq meal was rudimentary. We think the evening would have been better cancelled because of the cloud cover and difficulty tracking the stars.

Das war ein unglaublicher schöner, unvergesslicher Abend. Das Ambiente, vor allem die tollen Leute, die sich um unser Wohlergehen gekümmert haben, haben eine herzliche Umarmung verdient. Die Sterne zu sehen hat alles abgerundet, sehr beeindruckend. Diese Veranstaltung sollte jeder, der Sal besucht, gemacht haben. Vielen Dank!

Gut organisiert und mittelmässig ausgeführt. Man hat den Sternenhimmel gut gesehen. Der Guide hat zwar viel geredet aber alles auf Englisch womit wir fast kein Wort verstanden haben. Alles ist mit über 3 Stunden zu lange gegangen. Am Schluss waren alle Teilnehmer froh endlich in den Bus zu steigen. Essen und Trinken waren gut und die Einheimischen sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

The stargazers were fabulous, so informative and enthusiastic that we couldn't help but enjoy. Learned new things about the night sky. Amazing! Welcome drinks and warm welcome from staff at kite beach bar and restaurant was lovely. Food pretty basic but tbh I think that we were completely spoiled with the fabulous food at Robinsons. Stargazing was something different and very interesting

It was too busy for what was available. Too long a wait for food, telescope viewing and it was difficult to hear what was being explained.The features shown are all things anyone with an interest in astronomy will have already viewed. Venus, Jupiter and the moon. I was expecting more things such as nebulae and things not readily viewable in the Nothern hemisphere Food was described as a barbecue when it was in fact a buffet with the choice of fish or chicken .

The guides were really interesting and clearly knew their stuff. I learned things and loved seeing the moon and planets through the telescopes. The food was quite tasty and it was nice being on the beach for the evening. The advice to wear warm clothing is good though they did also provide blankets which was nice. We really enjoyed our evening.

Kurzer Transfer, Essen angemessen, aber wo ist das zweite Getränk geblieben? Leider waren die Guides nur in englischer/ spanischer Sprache. Hätte man es gesagt, dass kein deutschsprachiger Guide dabei ist, hätten wir es nicht gebucht. Wir haben leider nicht viel von den Erklärungen verstanden. Noch ein großer Minuspunkt: der Geruch der Kläranlage, das ging gar nicht.

Ondanks de zware bewolking liet men de activiteit toch doorgaan. Dit ondanks de reisleiding "Tinne" gezegd had dat bij slecht weer (bewolking) dit gecanceld zou worden. We hebben dus 1uur naar de sterren kunnen kijken. Nadien was er de bewolking en was het voorbij.

An “ interesting” evening! However too many guests for 2 telescopes meant that there was A LOT of waiting - just sat down in the dark. Food & entertainment was fine, and the team running the evening were doing their best! The TUI description of the excursion alludes to the whole evening finishing with, and I quote, “A 10 min stroll on the beach looking at the night skies!” This was not even mentioned and certainly didn’t happen! The end of tfe eve with Grog was great!! ????

Sterrenkijken was fantastisch. Zowel de lokale heer als de Nederlandse jongedame deden het leuk. Zij heeft me later ook nog apart de Orion-nevel aangewezen door de telescoop. Heel fijn! Wat ik minder vond, was het eettempo. TUI gids had mij verteld: voorgerecht-sterrenkijken-hoofdgerecht-sterrenkijken-nagerecht-sterrenkijken. Deze volgorde werd aangehouden. Echter vond ik de tijd voor het hoofdgerecht te beperkt (slechts 20minuten); bij een buffet mag je toch meer tijd voor diner nemen?

Echt nett, endlich mal rein schöner Blick in unseren Planeten System. Nach 2 nicht so guten Touren, aufgrund von Wolken ( Boa Vista 2022, Teneriffa 2023), endlich eine Top Nacht erwischt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

The staff were all fantastic. Very accommodating and well informed about star gazing and astronomy. The weather meant it was difficult to see everything in the sky but we still saw lots of constellations , the moon and Jupiter. A very unique experience. Lovely food and drink included as well.

The overall experience was absolutely amazing and what made it even more so was that when my companion told the staff she had to have gluten free food they produced something for her from scratch. The staff were very well qualified to answer all questions asked and pointed out where the various stars and planets were before focussing the telescopes on them Seeing Saturn and Jupiter was really special and we both said this was the highlight of our holiday What was there not to like?

De gids wist ontzettend veel van de sterren en planeten. Hij liep rond langs de gasten om zijn verhaal te vertellen, daarvoor was het niet altijd goed te verstaan omdat de afstand te groot was. De combinatie van om de beurt door de telescoop kijken, terwijl de gids door praat is erg rommelig. Oplossen door bijvoorbeeld de groep te verdelen en om de beurt laten eten en kijken. Ik ben trouwens meerdere keren geprikt door insecten.

We had a very enjoyable experience indeed. The guides were very friendly and gave good talks. We learned lots of interesting facts about astronomy and the explanation of the night sky was brilliant. A nice meal in a great location.

Really nice trip to a beach restaurant for an evening of stargazing, picked up at the hotel and dropped back off at the end of the evening. Lovely three course meal with stargazing, the guides were very helpful and informative, the telescopes were really clear and we got to see lots of stars and planets all pointed out for us by the staff, nice cocktail on arrival....

Excellent tour, very experienced staff, excellent acknowledgment, buffet dinner was lovely, entertainment was very nice, only thing wrong was obviously the lights had to go out, when star gazing , maybe one of the staff could have been on hand with a light/torch as wasn’t very easy to see where you were walking, which was quite a hazard at times, but really enjoyed

An excellent evening with fantastic local food in a nice secluded beach front restaurant accompanied with some background music from a local singer. The host/guide was very informative about stars and constellations, offering views of the stars through the telescope. At the end of the evening we were walked onto the beach, with blankets provided, to lay on the beach and look up at the stars, finished off a pleasant evening perfectly
