Everyone associated with the tour was excellent from the guide to the driver. There were many stops for photos and the visit to the village for mint tea was informative and tasty. The lunch was excellent but there could have done with a little more as we were out more than 8 hours.

This experience was very well thought out. We particularly enjoyed the opportunity to see the Berber village house and take mint tea in traditional style. The mountain scenery is spectacular. The impact of the recent earthquake was brought home by seeing many damaged houses and temporary accommodation units. We have driven cars in many different countries and Moroccan traffic is something we expected to be busy and slightly anarchic - we preferred our driver to leave more gap between vehicles!

The guide was very knowledgeable, the places were interesting & the tagine for lunch was beautiful. The children in the Berber village were begging & fighting with each other for anything offered, which was a little unpleasant but out of our control. Although it was a driving excursion I was a bit fed up of sitting in the car by the end!

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining, and there were plenty of opportunities to ask questions.. Drinking mint tea in a Berber home gave us an amazing insight into life in the villages. Our lunch was delicious. There were plenty of stops to admire the scenery and find out more about the mountains. We enjoyed the trip to the pottery and the women's co-operative. Our driver was most competent and we thought the tour was good value for money.

Very informative guide (Mustava) who communicated very well in English. This gave a contrast to the sightseeing and made a really interesting finale to our visit to Marrakech. Learning about rural life, Berber origins, government support for the rural communities, artisan crafts, children's schooling, hearing how devastating the earthquake had been and learning about the current Moroccan king was more than we were expecting from this visit - would recommend.

Since this was supposed to be more about the mountains than the different shops, I would have really appreciated if we spent a lot more time in the mountains with more frequent stops. The pottery and the women's cooperative were all very interesting but maybe on a separate, shopping, tour. Our guide Hassan and our driver Hussein were both kind and attentive, kudos to them.

Bad weather made a massive difference to this trip, so check before booking. There was a lot of driving involved and it was interesting to see life going on outside. We were in a fleet of 9 cars so it felt an bit impersonal. The meal was nice and the other stops were ok- pottery and argon oil cooperative. Felt like a long day.

There was quite a lot of driving on mountain roads which was spectacular. The driver, Saiad, was excellent for stops when required. Mustafa, the guide, was really good. Lunch was quite late so snacks for the morning are worth carrying. Also, we took sweets for the kids in the Berber village which they appreciated. We learned a lotaboutmaking tea as well! A beautiful day out.

We felt really safe with our driver when we were negotiating the winding mountain roads which were flooded in parts due to storms. Our guide was excellent - lively, helpful, informative and fun - but the highlight was taking tea in the Berber house.

Lovely 4x4 tour, Hassan our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour. Lots of opportunities to stop and get great photos. Mint tea in the Berber village was really tasty and the lunch in the restaurant later on was beautiful too.

we were lucky as I guide was in our vehicle he gave so much useful and interesting information .To go into someone house and be introduced to four generations of family .They made us so welcome .The guide also showed us damage caused from the earthquake which was a shock but importance help is needed .we had fantastic home cooked food in restaurant .we saw pottery and women making oils .I highly recommend this tour

Great trip and maxed out having the local knowledgeable guide Hassan in our vehicle. Lovely to experience tea in the real home of Berber village in the mountains. Great views and a really nice local tagine cooked recipe for lunch. All in all a great day out.

Excellent experience altogether. Our driver was very good, careful and considerate pity his English was limited tho as he could have told us more. However, the overall guide who accompanied our 3 vehicles was extremely verbose and informative with great sense of humour. Plenty of stops for photos, pottery, a Berber house for mint tea, and finally a delish lunch in a pretty garden. Was highlight of our holiday and so glad we booked. Thank you!

The tour itself was excellent. Very comfortable vehicle. Glorious views with frequent stops for photos. The Berber village visit was very interesting & the tea was delicious. Our tour guide Hassan was absolutely outstanding. 1) Because his commentary was so interesting and we learnt so much about the Berber way of life & traditions - and Morocco itself. 2) And most importantly, because of the care & assistance Hassan gave to my son who was very unwell during the trip. It was a shame the day we scheduled was bad weather, this impacted visibility and safety. Many were not prepared for the cold either. It may have been wise to cancel for another day. I appreciate this is not always possible but it would have been better. Advice in advance of what to take for the children of the Berber villages would also have been appreciated. Guide was great, hospitality too. Definitely an experience to see another culture ????

We really appreciated our tour guide! He was so so lovely and so informative. I wanted to do this tour originally because of learning about culture, and also understanding Morocco in depth and it did exactly that! The Berber village is so interesting to see how others live, not only different from your own style of life but also those who live in Marrakech. The only downfall was me and my partner sat at the back of a 4x4 and had to climb in and out at every stop, and he is 6ft! But we did it x

The whole experience of the trip and viewing the Berber life style and the scenery and views in the High Atlas Mountains. The only minor negative was the driver did not speak very good English but we were fortunate to have a young couple from Belgium who were able to translate. All in All a very good experience.

We enjoyed the fantastic views from the Atlas Mountains and the lunch at the hotel/restaurant. The tour was 8h long with many stops. We stopped for a pottery shop, for photos along the way, at a Berber household for mint green tea, and then at a hotel for lunch. Driver was friendly, the roads were paved. Guide knowledgeable and grew up in the mountains. Sometimes the tour was slow. We spent 1h at the house for tea. Highest point 2km. Overall the trip was a highlight of our stay in Marrakech.

Enjoyed the information from the tour guide, learning about Morocco and the Berber people, enjoyed the views and the photo stops, meeting the Berber family and having mint tea, lunch was good (even for vegetarians x7!) Stopping at the Argan Oil womens' co-operative to support local fair trade felt important. Would have liked to have hiked a little (like on the Ourika Valley trip) in the Atlas mountains, this was a more sedate, sit in the 4x4 and 'look,' rather than 'do' tour.

The guide and our individual driver were excellent. Safe driving (our driver only spoke French) on some spectacular mountain routes and great knowledge from the one guide of the 5 vehicles in the group (English very good). The lunch (3 courses - tagine) was pretty good. This trip is approx 8 hours in total and is the shortest trip of those offered by TUI in the Atlas. Several stop of points for local crafts viewing and many brief photo stops. Highly recommend.

Overall I enjoyed this excursion. The only criticism is the fact that 4 of us were squeezed in to the 4x4 albeit with the option for one to sit in the very rear seats in the boot, which we declined. Several hours of travelling but the views were worth it! Lunch was pleasant enough and the tea at the Berber house far nicer than what I had tried beforehand.

A really good day out with long drives, but multiple stops for photos over some stunning views. Lunch was provided and consisted of a Moroccan salad, chicken tagine and some cinnamon oranges to finish. Abdul Kareem was an excellent guide in the stops. Very knowledgeable and spoke very good English. I do wish our driver spoke more English so he could tell us more enroute.

- pottery stop was ok but not great we didn’t learn much it felt more of a shopping stop and prices were really high - driving and views were really good - Berber village was interesting - food stop was nice and the food was good - at times we weren’t really aware of what we were doing or how long we had in that place so it was a bit confusing - overall we enjoyed just a couple of pointers where it could be improved

The tour was well organized and thought through: the driver was super helpful, kept us cool and drove carefully on some tricky roads; the tour guide gave enough interesting information without it being too much and was very considerate of wanting photo opportunities too. Overall we had a great day and the lunch provided was delicious!

We enjoyed the entire trip , the experience in the 4x4s were great, the mountain views throughout the journey were fantastic, the lemon chicken tagine meal at the restaurant was wonderful , the visit to the berber house was enlightening and all topped off by the brilliant guide Hassan who made the trip a great experience overall.

The tour was great, enjoyed seeing the Atlas Mountains and the guide was very informative. However the restaurant was odd and gave us food positioning. When we walked around the back we saw the kitchen and it looked very dirty. It was the only thing me and my partner both ate so we know the food poisoning came from there. When we told our rep back at the hotel they didn’t seem to care that the restaurant made us Ill

A fascinating trip around the mountainous areas near Marrakesh taking in fascinating views, vertiginous roads, local life in a Berber home and a delicious local meal (the best meal of our trip). Our guide Micky was very knowledgeable; he was also very funny and spoke at least three languages.

This was the second time we have done this trip. As enjoyable as it was, it was made special by the charming and informative guide we had, who I believe is 'Hassan'. His vast knowledge, excellent personal skills and sense of humour ensured a thoroughly enjoyable day !

We extremely enjoyed the whole holiday experience, the flight, hotel, and the Berber tour. The whole of the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Our Marrakech holiday was fantastic value for money with TUI.

All aspects of this experience were excellent. The guide was informative and knowledgeable; and always willing to answer questions and queries fully. Our driver inspired confidence and handled the most difficult of tracks and roads expertly. The sites visited and activities undertaken were diverse and well chosen. All in all a most rewarding and memorable day!
