We didn't and most people didn't like the sparkling wine to toast the sunset. george the driver/guide was an excellent character kept everyone entertained all through the tour. The meal at the end was filling and enjoyable. The views during the tour were astonishing

Ricardo was an excellent tour guide for the Monchique mountains, he was very knowledgeable about the area, agriculture, the people and he had a great sense of humour. Would definitely recommend this tour!

This was very good trip. The guides made sure everyone was included and our guide, George, was a very good. He made sure that all groups were on time to enjoy the sunset. The food and drink at the restaurant was very nice. Would do this again.

Our tour guide Ricardo was excellent very informative of Portuguese history Asked every stage if we were happy and enjoying our trip very friendly and welcoming going above and beyond his service by taking fabulous photos of the beautiful sunset Would thoroughly recommend doing this trip

Excellent all round. My only criticism is at the restaurant. The main pork dish was fabulous but not quite enough. We were promised extra, and they did not have any left. Leaving some with a very small portion. Also, giving us processed cheese is not a good representation of Portuguese cheese. The sunset was amazing , and Ricardo took some fabulous pictures for us. Lovely memories. Ricardo was an excellent tourist guide.

Absolutely loved this excursion! The tour guides ricardo, George and vitor were brilliant, informative and funny! There was great chemistry and banter between them all. The sunset was spectacular really special. Lots of stops at various areas in the mountains followed by a lovely traditional Portuguese dinner in a local restaurant in the mountains. Would highly recommend this trip!!

What an amazing trip by Landover up into the hills to eat at an authentic Portuguese restaurant and watch the sunset. The overall experience was enhanced by our fabulous tour guide, Vitor. He was knowledgable, friendly and lots of fun. He told me so much about Portugal. The highlight of our holiday.

A very enjoyable road trip into the hills north of the coastal plain . Very engaging guide, great scenery and food. Travelled off road to reach remote villages and reach superb panoramic views. Only downside is that the LandRover Defender is not the most comfortable 4x4 and the rear passenger area is cramped for anyone over 6ft.

A fantastic experience where we met lovely people from different countries, tried delicious local food (with lots of wine!) and took beautiful photographs of a stunning sunset. The tour guide was knowledgeable and very funny and I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting the Algarve as it was the highlight of our holiday.

Absolutely brilliant! Such a lovely and romantic experience for a couple. Our tour guide Georgio was brilliant, he was funny, very informative and really made the experience. The sunset was absolutely beautiful and you even get a bottle of champagne per couple which was a really nice surprise. A brilliant photo opportunity. Would definitely recommend this trip!

It was a nice excursion to see the mountains of Algarve. Be aware though. Me and my wife went on this trip thinking it would be romantic but it was far from it. We were crammed in a jeep with 6 strangers and the guide drove fast. The 5 course dinner sounded promising at first, but the food was shared. We were placed at one long table with said strangers that spoke another language than us. The restaurant was a bit rundown, not cozy. If you're pregnant, there isn't much to do in Portugal.

Really loved watching the sunset and the traditional meal. The tour guides were really informative and offered a great experience. The only downside was the length of time spent in the jeep as it was most of the day. Other than that I'd recommend the trip.

Great
Ahead of this trip we asked what we should take via the TUI app, and were told nothing but 'good vibes'. However what we needed to take was cash (essential) and a jacket, as it turned out we were going up a mountain.
'Chicken George' was great though, thanks!
