What we expect
ARTIS Amsterdam Royal Zoo
Explore ARTIS Amsterdam Zoo located 10 minutes from city centre, directly on one of the canals. Visit the newborn elephant calves playing outside, historic monuments, and beautiful flower gardens. Take a trip through space inside the Planetarium (admission included). Feel the fluttering of countless wings in the Butterfly Pavilion. Admire the botanical garden and take a restful break at one of our vegetarian restaurants.

ARTIS Amsterdam Royal Zoo is open daily including holidays:
1 March to 31 October: From 9.00am - 6.00pm
1 November to 28 February: From 9.00am - 5.00pm
During the holidays, adjusted opening hours apply to both locations:
24, 25, 26 December 9 am - 5 pm
31 December 9 am - 4 pm
1 January 10 am - 5 pm
