What we expect
Blessed with almost made-for-Instagram scenery, La Palma is the perfect place for photography fans. With this medium difficulty hike, we'll drive to the island's highest point at Roque de Los Muchachos – 2,426 metres up, before trekking down into the forest-covered depths of Caldera Taburiente crater. You'll end the walk at Pico de la Cruz, arriving just in time for a dazzling sunset overlooking the island.
