Spanning vast meadows, orchards and thick forests filled with birdlife, the landscapes of the Troodos Mountains are ever-changing. And there's no better way to explore them than by 4x4. On this full-day tour, you'll see Omodos, Aphrodite's Rock and much more.
The day starts with a quick stop by the Big Rock, before journeying deep into the Troodos Forest to visit the photogenic Tzelefos Bridge. Here you can join an optional mini forest hike. Then, stop at a traditional 'kafenion' to taste an authentic Cypriot coffee, before whizzing by a 20m waterfall for some Instaworthy snaps. Once you've built up an...

Our guide and driver Ryan was excellent. He had lots of local knowledge and was able to explain about the locations we visited in great detail and also provided us with lots of local insight. Really enjoyed the tour, lunch and it was a perfect day and felt just the right length of time. Would and have recommend the experience to others.

Excellent day out with a lovely bunch of strangers at the start, and friends by the end of the day. Wonderful scenery, lovely lunch and a plentiful supply of wine at the tasting. Our driver was fun, knowledgeable and very helpful. Great day out!!

Uncomfortable and cramped at the back. My wife needed to cancel as my son arrived unexpectedly to visit. I wanted to contact a Tui rep. No one was available. The only numbers were in London. They were not able to help. The hotel did not have any Tui local number

Ryan ( from South Africa ) made the tour from the very beginning he was very helpful / knowledgeable which showed through that he Loved his job. We had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and be involved. For the time of year being end of January it was still a good day out. A good experience at the Lion wine tasting, lunch at the star light restaurant was very nice, the restaurant staff were friendly. Tried some Cyprus coffee ( not a fan ) more of a tea drinker. A good day out worth doing.

Lunch was really good. Off road exciting experience. Would have been nice to be given a bit of background as to the village coffee stop and lunch restaurant village. Lovely to see those places. Wine tasting very good. Beautiful scenery at the bridge and waterfall, although we didn’t go for a walk,

Marvelllously interesting tour given by ‘Ryan’ our driver and guide. Fascinating history and local stories (true or not..who cares!) amusing and entertaining. An informative ecologist and naturalist rolled into one… also a careful driver on some pretty rough terrain, and caring and watchful of passengers. Lovely little villages bursting with colourful arts and crafts ,… very touristy of course, but that’s what we were….met friendly people all the way. Great views from up in the mountains,

In unserer Gruppe war ein Paar über 80, für das die Tour nicht geeignet war. Der TUI Mitarbeiter, der den beiden die Tour verkauft hatte, wusste offensichtlich nicht, was er verkauft und unser Guide hätte die beiden gar nicht mitnehmen dürfen, nachdem sie kaum in den Wagen steigen konnten. Die Fahrt war für die beiden sehr unsicher. Wir mussten vermehrt Pausen einlegen und hatten wenig Zeit für die einzelnen Orte. Unser Guide hat uns kaum Infos zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten übermittelt. Es war ein Abenteuer mit schöner Aussicht. Der Stopp im Restaurant mit Mittagessen war überraschend gut. Die Weinprobe war köstlich und herzlich geführt. Wir haben einige Flaschen gekauft. Der Guide hat alle Fragen beantwortet, auch außerhalb der Tour. Die Tour verdient eine klare Empfehlung, man sollte aber auch noch körperliche etwas belastbar sein.

Eine super ganztages Tour bei der man sehr viel vom Troodos Gebirge sieht. Es sind zwar immer nur kurze Stopps, aber für eine Übersicht ausreichend. Einen spitzen Fahrer hatten wir, der uns kurzweilig über die zypriotische Geschichte, die Eigenheiten, Kultur und Natur des Landes aufgeklärt hat!

Overall the experience was good, my only issue was there was not much in the way of a vegetarian option for the lunch. All the meat eaters were tucking into all sorts of meat dishes where I was offered what looked like a bowl of pulses plus a share of the salad offered to everyone. I did tell the guide at the beginning of the trip I was vegetarian and he did call the restaurant to inform them but they said they didn’t have a vegetarian menu.

The jeep was a bit uncomfortable in the back but comfy in the front. Our guide Gerry was fantastic, very knowledgeable and friendly. The food stop was very good. The only negative was not enough time to enjoy a swim at Aphrodite’s rock but overall a great day.

Great excursion, made even better with Jerry as our driver. Very friendly and knowledgeable host. Good itinerary with good variation- not rushed either. Couple of points to mention. We had two people not turn up which gave us total of 8 which was ok. If others had turned up to make it 10, we’d have been uncomfortably cramped. Also journey off road could be uncomfortable for anyone with back problems as you do get thrown about a bit. Think should be advisory warning when booking. Otherwise good!

Too crowded in 4 x 4. Stopped at bridge and waterfall and told NOTHING about them. Very crowded table for lunch. Tui rep advised us there would be different village and monastery visited but it was the same as a previous tour. Told to bring swimming things which meant everyone had big bags and nowhere to put them. Poor driving skills for long wheel base 4 x 4. We would not recommend.

Our tour guide, Jerry, was fantastic. He really made the whole experience special and enjoyable. Getting to travel to several sights and learn about the area was good. Having time for a swim later in the afternoon at Aphrodites rock was lovely. The offroading up the mountain was great fun!

Guido war freundlich, ein wenig wortkarg. Guides aus anderen Landrovers gleicher Anbieter war mit mehreren Landrovern unterwegs) haben deutlich mehr Infos gegeben. Tour an sich klasse, schöne Spots und tolle Location für das Mittagessen. Bitte beachten, dass es wirklich über einige Strecken über Stock und Stein geht, das muss eman aushalten können!

Je moest veiligheidsgordels aandoen maar als ze kapot zijn kun je ze moeilijk vastklikken hè. Wel heel mooie tour met voldoende stops en mooie plekjes bezocht. Genoeg tijd om even te genieten en dingen te bewonderen. Zeer lekkere lunch, in een prachtige setting. Het had enkel mss nog iets meer off road gemogen, was nogal veel op de gewone wegen rijden.

Viel zu viel an einem Tag. Sehr kurze Stopps zum foto machen. Viele Zeit im Auto. Deutsche Tour gebucht, war im Auto mit einem Englisch sprachigen Fahrer und sonst alles Franzosen. In der Beschreibung stand: Entspannen und Baden am Strand beim Felsen von Aphrodite. Wir hatten aber nur 25 minutwn Zeit da, also stimmte auxh die beschreibung nicht. Die Fahrt war sonst angenehm und sicher, tour guide auf deutsch war freundlich, das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Weniger ist manchmal mehr ;)

Gerry was amazing nice guy and went out of his way to explain things like the trees etc, this is what makes a good guide. The lunch was spectacular and the staff attentive. The olive stop was great trying and tasting the difference and the lady was very knowledgeable and no silly questions. The wine stop was okay I would recommend the trip

The guide was incredibly informative, the sights visited and the routes were well worth seeing, the drive itself was fun, the ice cream at the winery was the best I’ve tasted and the wine was amazing! The downside for us was the price (much cheaper if booked in town) and the fact we were a couple added to a family of 7, feeling like we were intruding on their family day out. Aside from that… fabulous and would go again… if the price were right ;-)

Zeer goede gids. Ryan vertelt honderd uit en kent zeer de streek en de geschiedenis van Cyprus. Stops zijn ok met uitzondering van de laatste(Rots van Aphrodite) . Door de offroad-rit zie je ook meer. Je zou dit anders als toerist niet doen,

Tour was very good and visited some really good places. The guides were friendly, however our guide wasn't particularly overly informative, but nonetheless really friendly. Our only reservation was the state of the Land Rovers in use. We were told that seat belts were mandatory in Cyprus, yet our Land Rovers seat belts were all broken or missing. It made an experience though! Overall it was a great day out and we would recommend it.

Die Tour war richtig klasse wir haben schöne Orte gesehen. Das Mittagessen war auch sehr lecker. Der Guide hat das alles toll erklärt und war auch lustig dabei. Für unseren Geschmack hätte ein bisschen mehr Offroad sein können??. Und am letzten Stop Felsen der Aphrodite hatten wir nur 40 min. durch erzählen und umsehen wars zum Baden etwas zu kurz nachdem man 10min. mit den Füßen drin war musste man schon wieder los

Super tolle Tour mit einem tollen deutschsprachigen Führer. Der ist lustig und erzählt total super über die angesteuerten Plätze aber auch über die Geschichte und über Zypern allgemein (Pflanzen, Bewohner, Landwirtschaft, Probleme auf der Insel….). Das war die beste meiner 3 Touren auf der Insel.

The day was amazing. George, our tour guide and driver was fantastic. The many sites we visited were great. Scenery was spectacular. The lunch provided was delicious and plentiful. We had a thoroughly enjoyable day. It is good value for money and would highly recommend the trip. You get to see so much more of Cyprus.

Guide was excellent. Experience ran to time with nothing wrong or bad. But on reflection it gave a little bit of lots of things (bridge, waterfall, Cyprus coffee (€1.50), big lunch of different food types, wine tasting, village stop (great glass blower shop) then sea - no time for bathing 20min stop). So its not fully off road (about hour and half) and felt fragmented. It doesn't need the beach stop at the end. Can't fault the booking, pre info or the running of the day.... Troodos in a can!

Prima geregeld deze tour, leuke stops en 1 gids vertelde veel, off road is erg leuk en hobbelig achterin. Maar dat weet je bij off road. Eten: lunch mooie plek en prima eten. Wijnproeverij zit er ook bij. Omodos leuk oud ambachten en toeristische winkeltjes. Rots affrodite mooie plek. Zee was onrustig dus niet te water gegaan. Dagje door de bergen met mooie uitzichten. Min puntje als de safari auto volgeboekt is dan krap achterin voor lange mensen. Zit je in elkaar.

Gids was niet zo spraakzaam. Voor de rest een aardige man. Vond het jammer dat we kort tijd hadden in Omodos (geloof ik) waar handgemaakte artikelen waren. Glasblazerij etc. Mooie stops onderweg. De lunch vond ik matig. Droog brood, vlees was niet bijzonder. Wijn zonder etiket, dus dat zegt al genoeg. We konden zwemmen bij de rots van Afrodite maar eigenlijk ook te kort tijd daarvoor, dus niet gedaan. Al met al een leuke dag met vrienden gehad

The main reason for the trip was to visit Aphrodite rock which unfortunately we barely had time there only 40 minutes and disappointing to know it was less than 5 minutes from our hotel so could have just taken a taxi there would have been nice to have been told that as wouldn’t have booked the trip

A great experience. Our driver ( with beard ) was excellent, drove very well, spoke perfect English, was interesting and informative. The ride in the 4 x 4 was a bit shaky but that’s what we expected. Lunch was excellent in a really lovely restautant. In all, an excellent day out. We thoroughly recommend.

This trip is a must do, our guide was fantastic, knowledgeable and you felt very safe with him behind the wheel. It was a true 4x4 experience taking you up in the mountains, but stopping regularly for those pictures. The lunch provided was excellent and when you cost this into the equation the price is very reasonable.

Also, ich bin 1.80 groß und musste im Heck des Jeeps sitzen - ca. 4 Stunden lang. Im Front saßen die ganze Zeit 2 Kinder (ok), und Oma und Mama (eher klein). Wir (2 Holländische Frauen und ich) machten den Fahrer (Kristos) auf die Problematik aufmerksam- aber er kam nicht auf die, Idee die Plätze unter den Erwachsenen nach der Halbzeit auszutauschen. Er ist nicht auf unser Problem eingegangen. Traurig. Um die Landschaft sehen zu Können musste ich mich die ganze Zeit beugen und verbiegen.

Overall quite a good day ,the driver was informative and very friendly, the 4x4 land rover kept breaking down which spoilt the experience a little but we did manage to get the excursion done, the restaurant stop was nice but the food lacked a little imagination, the weather was a bit disappointing but I can't blame them for that, value for money ,just about .

We selected the pickup point as "Theo Sunset Bay Holiday Village" in Larnaca, but no one showed up and no one contacted me. I arrived at the stop before 8:30, waited for 30 minutes until 9:00. We tried to cancel or request a refund, but there was no contact number available, and no way to get our money back.

Start to finish a wonderful experience scenery and stop offs were well organised visits along the way to the monastery, waterfall lunch very tasty and beach were delightful. I was lucky enough to sit up front alongside the driver so plenty of leg room for me as I'm fairly tall,unfortunately my partner was sat in the back which was a bit cramped so maybe a couple less people in the jeep would make the excursion more pleasurable.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Tour und sie hat uns wirklich gut gefallen. Es hat viel Spaß gemacht und wir hatten das Glück, einen sehr freundlichen Guide zu haben, der die Tour noch angenehmer machte. Das Mittagessen und das Weintasting waren ebenfalls hervorragend – damit hatten wir in diesem Umfang nicht gerechnet, und es war eine schöne Überraschung. Einziger Wunsch wäre, dass wir mehr Zeit in Omodos gehabt hätten, um auch den Ort und die Geschäfte in Ruhe erkunden zu können.

Really enjoyed getting out and about and seeing a number of different places. Pace was just right with about 30 minutes between each stop and there was so much food at lunch! Can’t say which place I enjoyed more but the Venetian bridge and Omodus village were stunning. There were 11 of including the driver so it was a bit cramped, I would maybe limit the numbers

Wir saßen mit 10 plus Guide im einem Landrover. Die 6 Personen im Rückraum konnte von der Fahrt nichts sehen. Wir waren 4 Männer (alle ca 1.85 groß) und selbst die kleineren Frauen mussten sich noch kleiner machen. Eng und unbequem... dieser Jeep ist ungeeignet....Sitzrichtung = Fahrtrichtung wäre die Lösung. Essen sehr gut, Guide sehr gut... SG Maria

De Land Rover werd ook gebruikt zoals bedoeld, dus van het asfalt af! Het aantal deelnemer zou 11 personen zijn, maar met personen achterin? Dat is echt krap achter in een Land Rover. Omdat er twee personen niet kwamen waren wij met 9 personen is comfortabel (voor Land Rover begrippen)

Mooie trip. Veel van het andere Cyprus gezien van fruitteelt, snoepgoed maken, mooie vergezichten, door kleine plaatsjes gereden. Off road naar een mooie oude brug en later naar een waterval. Wat ons betreft had het off road gedeelte groter mogen zijn. Goede chauffeur en heerlijke lunch op een mooie plaats.

Trip was not as advertised-no forest walk and we didn't visit the big rock Wine tasting was included (not mentioned in the tour description but really enjoyed it) Lunch was very tasty and felt we had enough to eat The stop at aphrodites beach was very short (15 minutes) it was fine for us as we had been before but for others who hadn't visited before it was barely enough time to get to the beach Felt rushed towards the end of the trip and our trip finished quite early back to hotel at 4.15

Het was een super leuke tour. Je ziet mega veel en rijdt in een leuke auto rond. De tijd van rondrijden en de stops waren ook perfect. Leuke kleine groep en lieve gids. Wel konden ze misschien iets meer vertellen bij de plekken waar we stopte. Ik raad deze excursie aan iedereen aan. Je ziet zoveel leuke plekken van het eiland waar je zelf niet kan komen.

Mooie dingen gezien op deze tour. Maar de stops waren veel te kort, veel te gehaast, overal vlug - vlug weg. Bij Aphrodite bad hadden we bijvoorbeeld maar 30 minuten om te zwemmen en terug klaar te staan. Werd ook verscheidene keren door gids gezegd, het is zaterdag (dus we willen op tijd terug zijn...). Ik denk dat een zaterdag even veel kost als een andere dag van de week, dus zou geen verschil mogen zijn. Ook werd er weinig tot geen info gegeven door de gids op de stopplaatsen.

If you want to have a great day making memories with your kids, than we definitly recommend this trip! Countryside seeing, visiting local & historical spots & villages, traditional coffee, a lunch, wine tasting a swim and especially the kids (4-7) had a blast during the off road part! Our experienced driver Rick made several stops when he spotted a tree with ripe fruit, nuts, etc. to pick and taste. More historical tales would be interesting, but perhaps not for everyone and can become boring.

A very disappointing experience. delayed pickup by 30 mins, driver had very poor English and dubious driving skills, little info shared enroute, poorly scheduled, too long at coffee shop/ winery. Jeep hot, uncomfortable, lunch stop was fine. Waterfall and bridge were nice but no cost so not sure where the €75 each went, beach stop was ridiculous, with only 20mins to swim not a sandy beach as in description. Whole thing felt rushed. in summary, a day of our holiday wasted at sig.cost.

Rico was an excellent tour guide. He took us everywhere on the list and more (threw in a surprise wine tasting). He really new his stuff about the local area. He added lots of personal touches that really made the tour. Lunch at skylight was lovely, such a picturesque little restaurant. The morning coffee was also delicious, such a different way to make coffee I really enjoyed seeing some of the sights around the troodos mountains. With my favourites being the Tzelefos bridge and the waterfall.

Vores guide Ricco var meget imødekommende og besvarede gerne spørgsmål - også på det mere personlige plan. Han var god til uopfordret, jævnligt at forklare om det vi så - derudover stoppede han flere gange og lod os “prøve” de lokale planter som fx basilikum og Carob (johannesbrød træ). Guide was a very pleasant driver -but any information imparted was whilst he was driving so couldn’t really hear most of this.Not a guide Spent a lot of time in 4x4 and only 15 mins/ 20 mins at the sights so no time to appreciate them. The only gripe i have about this trip was the uncomfortable ride. In a land rover defender there were 10 people crammed in plus the driver. Sitting sideways in the back was uncomfortable plus i couldnt turn round to see anything. Previous holidays we have had a land rover discovery which was very comfortable and not crammed. I was disappointed in the vehicle.

Ein paar mehr Fotostopps bei guten Aussichtspunkten wären schön. Das Restaurant hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Fahrer kannte sich sehr gut aus auf der Insel und konnte entsprechend Fragen beantworten. Den Stopp beim Weingut hätte man sich auch sparen können, obwohl die Weine gut waren. Man bekommt sie auch im Duty Free Bereich am Flughafen, Am Strand wäre etwas mehr Zeit schön gewesen.

The jeep was a little old and the seatbelts did not fit properly. The tour guide, Rico was friendly, knowledgeable and was a pleasure to spend time with. An interesting trip to places that cannot be accessed easily on the coach. Would advise in your guidance this is not for anyone with a bad back etc. It was very bumpy at times. Overall great fun.

The overall experience was very good and both myself and I were glad we booked the 4 x 4 tour. Pick up time was 08:30 and were asked to be there 15mins prior, the guide arrived at 09:00 any later and I was ready to walk away, so timing was a bit out? Some people on our tour had paid half what we had paid as they booked through a local agent office.

Our tour guide was excellent and made the tour for us. We feel the experience sold by TUI did not align with what happened particularly the Aphrodites rock; TUI advised to take swim wear but with only 30 minutes at the rock it isn’t time to change, enjoy the swim and dry off before returning to the 4x4, others had not been advised to take swim wear; also the mini trail didn’t happen and again others had not been advised of this. These 2 elements were what drew us to book this trip.

The mountains and waterfalls were pretty, however the journey to get to various sites was cramped and uncomfortable. Also could not see any of the sites that were pointed out by the guide if travelling in the back of the jeep as it’s an enclosed and squashed space. We were told to take swim stuff and towels but there was no time given for swimming. We were also told there was no wine tasting on the trip. We are not wine drinkers and feel the time spent there was too long.

The long drive up to the first stop was boring with little to see though our guide gave us lots of information. The coffee stop was of little interest and the coffee tasted awful. The off road was better with a few more things to see, the Venetian bridge and a small waterfall. The lunchtime meal was very good , plentiful and tasty though the stop could have been longer.The highlight of the trip was the wine tasting. Our Romanian host was very funny and made the day. Our favourite was Omodos and the wine tasting and would have liked a little more time at each, both were very good . It didn’t start so good as we had to wait by the side of the road for the other jeep when we could have waited in the cafe stop for them . A different type of transport would have been preferred as the back of the jeep was uncomfortable with very little views , although good etiquette was we all had to change seats every stop . Louis the driver guide was excellent - a good driver and communicator - he made us feel welcome and explained Cypriot history and life with enthusiasm - the tour was interesting and always felt safe - I can’t think how he could have improved his service - I’d thoroughly recommend his tour to others However the lunch was awful - with the exception of the fries and salads the food was cold and dry and probably was leftovers from a buffet the day before - advise you dont use this hotel again

The driver was a very nice gentleman and kept us informed of where we were going and very talkative however his driving was substandard to say the least , no part of the journey did we feel safe with him , while he was talking he would take both hands off the steering wheel , he also drove excessive speeds , while driving on rough terrain he drove at such a speed that we in the back were thrown to the point of injury , he didn't have any regard for us at all .

The off road driving of our driver wad terrifying especially for the people in the back of the jeep. Most of the time he was driving with only one hand on the steering wheel. Evidence of this was shown to our TUI rep the day after at the hotel. My friend at one time was thrown from his seat and his head hit the room and ge hurt his elbow. Again this was shown to the driver and to the TUI RE . . A full report has been submitted. Worst trip in 24 years with TUI. Please use another company. Rushed

Everything about the trip was ace, from the pickup, the guide, the places visited, the meal, all was above expectations... If you like exploring in an old school 4x4, then this is the trip for you. If you are looking for high quality air conditioned transport, then perhaps not, but for me that was the charm of the whole experience... A little bit of Indiana Jones is something everyone has to do at some point, and this was it for me and my family... Downside, some of the stops were a bit short

It was a brilliant trip. Seen a lot of traditional Cyprus in one day. Scenery was stunning, stops were just lovely. The lunch was perfect, something for al. I don't eat meat and there was plenty of option for me too. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting, Cypriot coffee and lovely little villages. I have to thank Vasos our driver and guide. He was funny and entertaining all the way and was very knowledgeable of all areas. Highly recommended if you want to have fun and see a lot in one day.

I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. Our driver Vasos was amazing and knowledgeable. We was taken to some amazing sights, eating freshly picked grapes along the way with lunch, wine tasting and a swim at the end. I would happily do this experience again!

Der Ausflug ins Troodos Gebirge ist sehr zu empfehlen. Bei den kleinen Stops sieht man schöne Ecken der Landschaft. Der Guide hat während der offroad Fahrt, sowie während der Stops viele Infos über die Insel und der Gegend erzählt.

The jeeps are not comfortable, however, no actual journey is more than 30 minutes, most 10-15 minutes, so it’s not too bad. The tour itself was well worth it, a great way to explore.

Fantastic day out. There were 10 of us in the jeep, but it wasn't overcrowded like other people have commented in previous reviews. Rian was a lovely guide and driver filling us with his knowledge throughout the day. We did all activities listed including wine tasting (fantastic) and the chance to swim in the baths of Aphrodite (make sure you do it). Lunch was fantastic - we were all expecting something buffet style but all sat together in beautiful surroundings & served delicious food & drinks

L’excursion par elle même était chouette ! Mais sur notre séjour nous avions réservé 3 excursions en français à l’avance et au final : celle ci était en allemand (on ne connaît que quelques mots anglais, heureusement que le guide faisait l’effort de ne pas parler vite et était tb) et les 2 autres ont été annulées !!!! ********** déçu car pas su faire une demande ailleurs notamment pour Nicosie. Si vous proposez une date en français pourquoi ne pas s’y tenir ? Et décevoir les clients ?

This trip was amazing and I would highly recommend this to anyone that loves the outdoors and would love to see Cyprus away from the main towns. Our guide was called Rick and we met up with his colleague Nick and they were an incredible, knowledgeable duo. We learned so much and also had so much fun! If you get motion sickness, this trip is not for you as you. Expect to have a sore bottom for the remainder of the day and into the next day. 10/10 for Rick and Nick

There is no clear point where we can see the height of mountain, the jeep is very old and loaded with overcrowded people. Couple of time jeep stop climbing hills and we get scary and fear of accident. In current extreme hot weather very difficult to seat next to each other with limited space.

It was a jam packed day which we thoroughly enjoyed where we got to see a lot of Cyprus as well as a couple of hidden gems with the bridge and waterfall. Had we known the beautiful beach at Aphrodite rock was pebbly we would have brought beach shoes to enjoy the experience further. Otherwise our guide was very helpful and friendly and we had a great time.

Fantastic full day excursion, the only downside was only given half an hour at Aphrodite beach, if the wine tasting was missed out, it would give an extra hour at the beach which would make it worthwhile actually being able to have a proper swim. That being said was a totally enjoyable and worth every penny.

Right from the moment we met our driver and guide for the day I knew we were in safe hands. Fun , informative and feeding us with home grown plums this was going to be a good day out. This experience is a non stop giver of some of the best things to see in Cyprus and I can’t recommend this enough. If you are lucky enough to have the same driver as we did then lookout as you are in for a great day.

Our guide Vassos was very good. Chatty and knowledgeable, all of us felt very comfortable. What could have been a real problem was the Vehicle broke down early on. Thankfully the company dropped off a replacement very quickly and it turned out well as we were all able to get to know each other a little whilst waiting. Some good sightseeing, Winery was nice. Overall it’s a good day. Enough different things for different people and we didn’t feel rushed at any time.

Wir hätten während der Fahrt, zwischen den Stationen, gerne Informationen über Zypern, Land und Leute erhalten. Wie in der Beschreibung beschrieben, das war bei unerer Tour nicht der Fall. Es war super. Man konnte so viel sehen, mega Off Road Tour. Der Guide sprach deutsch und war super lieb. Er hat uns alles erklärt. Das Essen war auch sehr gut. Sehr schönes Restaurant. Die Tour war insgesamt ein Erlebnis, dass Mann mitgemacht haben muss. Im Geländewagen ist es sehr eng, zum Teil auch deshalb, weil eben 8 - 9 Personen mitfahren. Durch die Stopps ist es allerdings auszuhalten . Savvas ( unser Fahrer) hat alles erklärt und war immer zu einem Späßchen aufgelegt. Wir haben viel gesehen und viel gelernt… Am Ende, ein toller Tag..!

We enjoyed the whole trip, tour guide was knowledgeable about plants etc often stopping near them to explain what they are and was able to answer all of our questions. The trip is full on, getting to places and seeing views that we would never be able to get to without the local knowledge definitely highly recommended. Liked the idea of moving people around in the Landrover so that everyone had an opportunity to get different views and were not stuck in the front or rear.

Wir waren überrascht und erfreut, dass die Tour entgegen der Angaben der App, auf deutsch durchgeführt wurde. Niki war ein super Guide. Wir hätten uns keinen besseren vorstellen können. Er hat uns viel über sich, Zypern, das Gebirge und die einheimische Pflanzen erzählt. Mittagessen war schlicht, aber lecker. Für die Tour ist ein starker Magen nötig, da es im Geländewagen sehr steil nach oben und unten geht. kann. Wir waren eine Gruppe von sechs Leuten aus unserem Hotel und hatten viel Spaß.

Being one of a tall family, I would not have enjoyed being stuffed in a car of 10 people. Too many. There are several comments about this. Tui should consider 8 a maximum.

L excursion est agréable, on aurait aimé une petite balade en forêt comme indiqué mais nous ne sommes restés que 15 min au pont et 15-20min à la cascade. Un peu plus de temps à Odomos serait bien aussi le temps de balader un peu dans les ruelles.

Gefallen hat uns die gut durchorganisierte Tour zu allen Punkten, die man sehen wollte, der aufgeschlossene Guide Akis, der auch die Off-road-Strecken sehr souverän meisterte, die Wein Probe. Das größtenteils landestypische Mittagessen mit gutem Wein war gut und ausreichend für alle Teilnehmenden. Nicht so gut gefallen hat uns die zu knappe Zeit am Aphroditefelsen. 35 Minuten sind zu wenig zum Baden gehen, eine Stunde wäre schön gewesen. Außerdem sollte Akis sein Englisch verbessern.

Tocht op zich heel leuk en interessant. De Gids zou Engels sprekend zijn maar kwam amper uit zijn woorden. Met iemand die wel zou goed kunnen vertellen zou het een stuk beter zijn geweest maar al met al geen spijt van.

De tocht mocht iets avontuurlijker zijn. Veel gereden op verharde wegen. Veiligheid: je zat met 6 personen achterin, op een zeer beperkte oppervlakte. Veiligheidsgordels werkten niet. Mooie uitstap met mooie landschappen en lekker eten De gids deed goed zijn best om duidelijk Nederlands te spreken.

I think this was overpriced for what it was and we didn't do some of what was advertised (i.e. wine tasting and visit to monastrey). I probably wouldn't do this particular trip again unless the price came down. Our guide was excellent though and it was a great experience visiting the mountains in a 4x4.

George our driver was a real character who was friendly, knowledgeable and made the trip very enjoyable. The only negative feedback is about visiting 2 bridges which were very similar with not much else to see. We were disappointed that there were no trips available to visit the local gorge and caves which we had seen online before our holiday.

Fantastische uitstap! Zeer vriendelijke en bekwame chauffeur. Enkel maar de drank bij de maaltijd was inbegrepen, de drankjes tijdens de andere stops niet. Wij hebben (begin september) wel een hevig onweer gehad maar ook toen zorgde de chauffeur ervoor dat we snel en dichtbij konden in stappen. De maaltijd was ook voor elk wat wils, zeer lekker.

Excursie werd last minute verzet. Hierdoor toch wel wat tijd gestoken in reorganisatie. Bevestiging voor het verplaatsen kwam maar niet waardoor wij toch wel spannende momenten hadden tijdens onze vakantie. het was moeilijk om andere activiteiten te plannen. We hebben excursies moeten annuleren waardoor we nu nog steeds wachten op terugbetaling en we nu nog steeds bezig zijn met onze voorbije vakantie en mailen. Vi havde den bedste chauffør, man kan forestille sig (Vassos). Han præsenterede sig selv og bad os rundt i bilen om at gøre det samme. Det gav en oplevelse af, at vi alle var på tur sammen. Vassos stoppede flere gange og plukkede frisk frugt o. a., hvor vi bl.a. skulle gætte, hvad det var. Han gjorde turen dobbelt så god på den måde. Naturen var skøn, og der var tilpas med tid de forskellige steder. Vi var vilde med hele turen.

Fantastic trip, saw lots of the island we would never have seen, the mountains were beautiful and the lunch was superb. Our guide Vasos was great, really friendly and welcoming and a great sense of humour that made us all feel welcome and included. Would highly recommend this trip to see more of beautiful Cyprus and learn about the island.

Mooie omgeving. Goede jeeps. Alleen vond ik dat de gids tijdens de dag iets te weinig uitleg gaf en dat ze op vele mooie plekken niet stopte voor foto's. Enkel de plaatsen waar je kon consumeren. Wat ik ook graag doe, zeker voor de locale bevolking te steunen. Leuke wijnproeverij. Als laatste een snelle stop bij de rots van Aphrodite.

Der Ausflug war ein wahnsinnig tolles Erlebnis, wir haben die Fahrt sehr genossen, viel erlebt ohne lange Pausen. Alles in Allem jeden Cent wert! Mittagessen war okay, hatten auch keinen hohen Anspruch da der Preis des Ausflugs nicht so hoch war. Ausflug selbst jederzeit zu empfehlen, 100% Action, sightseeing, selbst bei heißem Wetter zu empfehlen, da man ja im offenen Jeep unterwegs ist. Tolle Tour :)

Met deze excursie krijg je de schoonheid van de natuur op Cyprus te zien naast een stukje cultuur. Wij zaten met 7 volwassenen in een 10 persoons jeep. De stops waren steeds na 30 minuten, waardoor je ook veel te zien krijgt. Genoten van een heerlijke lunch in een goed restaurant, wat inbegrepen is. Kristos onze chauffeur is een vriendelijke man die goede uitleg gaf. Absolute aanrader voor degene die meer wil zien dan alleen strand! Een mooie invulling van de dag!

We enjoyed the whole trip, tour guide George was funny and knowledgeable about plants etc often stopping near them to explain what they are and letting us smell them. The trip is busy but we’ll worth it!! Due to other tourists requirements we didn’t get as long as I would have hoped for at Aphrodite beach but definitely highly recommend the trip

Really fun trip, saw lots of great scenery, plenty of variety of activities, ie wine tasting, visiting a pretty church, having a dip in ice cold water at the waterfall, lunch at a really good restaurant, some off road driving which we loved and wasn't too scary! Visiting Aphrodite's Rock was fab as we had time for a swim in the sea there. Our driver was great fun, Akis. Top guy.

Leuke tour door het troodos gebergte. Super veel gezien en ook veel kilometers gemaakt. We gingen eerst naar het Aphrodite rots strand en naar stadje Omodos. Toen naar een wijnproeverij en daarna lunchen. Lunch was goed verzorgd leuk tentje. Na de lunch gingen we naar watervallen, een burg in het bos en naar een stuwdam. De gids sprak engels nederlands en duits. En reed netjes door de bergen heen.

Akis our driver and guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and funny! It was really good being able to see parts of the island you wouldn't see by coach. The lunch venue was a gorgeous setting and the food itself very satisfying. In the winery it was difficult to hear the expert due to the number of people in the venue at the same time. Perhaps stagger the arrival times so you are not having to listen to an English and German explanation? Aphrodite's rock was a great end to the day. The overall day was fab and one we would recommend to others, especially travelling by 4x4 into the mountains.

Enjoyed the trip There were two guides both were not brilliant at English and the one designated English seemed the worse of the 2 whereas the other seemed to have more German knowledge for the German side of the holiday makers, but both lovely men and we got the basics of some of the history

Fijne gids die de aandacht goed verdeelt! Mooie excursie en veilig. Echter 1 minpuntje omdat we 45 minuten langer dan gewoon hebben staan te wachten doordat deze niet optijd klaar stonden en wij hierop moesten wachten. Hierop heb ik zelf actie ondernomen en gebeld met het bedrijf wat de excursie uitvoerd en aangegeven volgende keer beter te communiceren in zo geval! Verder een top excursie gehad!!!!

Hi everyone, This was my very first holiday there in Cyprus. I spent a wonderful week there in Paphos. I loved each of my experiences, including Kourion, Kolossi and Winery Tour, Troodos Mountains 4x4 Tour, Paphos Zoo & The Blue Lagoon Cruise. All experiences included a very hearty and variable mighty Cypriot meal. All tourist guides were well-organised, real experts who did their job with a big enthusiasm, and want to mention their outstanding humour, too. Our bus trips or Jeep journey had never been boring. I really liked that they spoke different languages, some of them (Lisa) sang folk songs and introduced Cypriot folk dance with her counterparts there in the Amphitheatre. I do not even want to miss out our excellent bus drivers who took every bend and motorway sensibly. They took care of our safety and health in the highest sense and I didn't even feel in danger on the dust track where the jeep took us. All places where we turned up had a wonderful and rich historical background that all tourist guides explained in details. They responded rapidly with the highest expertise for all individual questions. Also, they did not forget to teach us some Cypriot words, now I know how to say good morning in Greek, Kalimera. They demonstrated their country, monuments, history with a clear and precise knowledge. It is always good to relax, explore but if you can learn something too, you can take all memories home. I would like to go back to Cyprus to explore more in the future. I highly recommend all tourist attractions, experiences to all of you in this magical island. Lots of fun and love, Suzy

I was disappointed that we did not visit the monastery indicated in the information given. This was one of the reasons I chose this excursion. I also went on the Kolossi Castle trip the next day and visited Omodos and Aphrodites rock again. Our guide on the second trip was more informative than on the 4x4 trip. It would have been better if the two trips had not overlapped so much.

The 4x4 didn’t turn up until 9 am was worried it had been cancelled as we already had a couple that got cancelled..once the day started was not disappointed lots of fun good food and informative great views off roading great fun packed a lot in one day but loved that Brilliant ??

The guide was fab and both drivers kept you informed throughout the journey. The food was wonderful for lunch and both the location and staff were hospitable. The only downside on the trip is we were the last pick up and were in the very back of the car (two out of the three of us were very carsick!)

The drivers were great, very informative and at times entertaining, great lunch! Long day but lots of stops though which I definitely needed as very cramped seating! Absolutely no legroom which made the journey very uncomfortable!! Might I suggest different vehicles for passengers comfort !!

Guide didn't mention mask wearing in the vehicle or anything to do with seat belts.
Otherwise he was fantastic, knowledge was great and skilled in his off road I felt safe the entire trip.

The 4 x 4 had seats in the front but had bench seats in the rear, there was 8 of us in the back on these seats & we couldn't see out of the window unless we were bent double. Food at the Taverna was fresh and hot. Driver took us places that was not on the itinerary but was nice all the same.

Unfortunately we did not enjoy this excursion, spent more time in the jeep than at the places we visited. The trip was boring! The jeep was not clean and we were behind another jeep and kept getting the fumes in our window, awful experience.

Our driver Vassos was charming and entertaining. We had a lovely group which was helped by Vassos being friendly and knowledgeable. We felt safe in the 4x4 despite rocky roads. The trip ended on a melody of songs which had us all singing :D was a great trip!

Jeep war mit 11 Erwachsenen viel zu eng besetzt, be das in Corona-Zeiten. Ausblick während der mehrstündigen Fahrt war kaum möglich.
Eine längere Wanderung wäre gut gewesen.
Der Fahrer Elias sprach schlechtes Deutsch, Erläuterungen beschränkten sich auf das Nötigste.
Mittagessen war Touri-Frass.

Booked a full day tour . Pick up from your hotel in a land rover . Went to Troodor mountains . A few villages, monastery and the natural waterfall. Lunch was lovely . Plenty of stops throughout the day . Knowledge driver and very entertaining . Well worth the day out
