What we expect
Join a local family at their dining table for a cultural food adventure, where you'll step into an entirely different world. Each encounter is personal, involving only your party and the local family.
Upon meeting the local family and enjoying your initial beverage, you'll have the opportunity to assist in meal preparation. If you prefer, you can simply observe, write down notes, or take photographs - just relax and soak up the experience!
Rest assured, all local families speak at least basic English, providing an opportunity for engaging conversations about daily life in the country. Feel free to discuss anything you're curious...

What to remember
Know in advance:
On the terrace, you'll find many shoes. It is customary to take off your shoes before entering a house. Kindly adapt your clothes to the local culture: in bigger cities, the culture is different than in the countryside, but too much skin is not appreciated anywhere
Don't forget to ask for permission when you want to take pictures of the local family (and/or post them on social media). Most of the time everyone is fine with it
After booking, you'll receive an additional confirmation email from the local provider with the meeting point address
Please inform the local operator of any food allergies or intolerances at checkout
There is a minimum of 2 adults per booking
