What to expect
It is the golden-sand beaches of the Costa Dorada that give it its name of the golden coast – and the coast's vivid beauty is best appreciated from at sea. Drink in the views from a different perspective whilst fully relaxing aboard a sleek catamaran on this afternoon of maritime indulgence.Things get underway from port at the very civilised hour of 12:30, as your super-comfortable catamaran sailboat pushes out to sea. Glide through the waves of the glittering Mediterranean, basking on the netted deck as the warm salty air washes over you.As things heat up, you'll drop anchor at a wonderfully secluded cove and cool things down with a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters. Excellent, really recommend this trip. Relax cruise, free time to swim in the sea or just relax on the boat. Drinks were provided throughout, and to finish a barbecue. Brilliant experience. Party music played on return cruise. Couldn't fault it.

Pick up is by coach, no tui staff as trip is contracted out. Person who checked us off basically asked us to get on the coach then she travelled in her own vehicle. Poor communication throughout. Took an hr each way to get to the boat in cambrils. Cruise had no atmosphere. Was very flat overall and such a shame.

The only thing that let us down was the weather nothing they could control ! Honestly so friendly and funny the whole trip. Was it a relaxing one NO! But I loved it music was on we had a dance we had a sing song and it definitely helped as the weather was bad that day! We got food and drink which I didn't expect! Got about 45 mins to enjoy the water as yes we still jumped in. Would definitely recommend this.

Not really sure how to judge this experience it was good... but music was playing so quiet, the cru didn't care much about anything, the food serving was cold, we have a good time jumping to the sea but otherwise it was just sitting on the catamaran and waiting for some kind of entertainment... We spoke to people joining speed boat experience and they said it was a lot of fun and entertaining from the cru that they have so much fun. And for us something was missing.

Absoloutly brilliant catamaran trip. We had this on our last day and it was definitely the best way to end our holiday. Its a 3 hour trip on the catamaran. We were happily surprised when we got lunch too as it didn't say we got this. The drinks were great. My kids adored this trip too.

Decent boat but crammed with too many people. No interaction from crew, no music etc. Burger provided was ok but several people being sea sick put us off eating. Whole experience could have been more special, we have previously been on better.

Tour guide was quite unfriendly and abrupt when greeting us to get on the bus to go Boat experience was lovely however after the tour guide was more interested to see to next group and didnt take us back to the bus and i think some people may have missed the bus

This was easy to book through to Tui app, pick up from the hotel was on time taking us to Cambrils to get on the catamaran. We preferred the morning sail as this was less busy than the afternoon allowing more room to relax and enjoy. A nice surprise was after our swim in the sea was a burger and wedges, this is not mentioned when booking. Free drinks were all good quality and no restrictions. We have no faults with this trip. Great experience

We read a few of the reviews before booking and our experience was just like what we had read. We had our own taxi pick us up going, and a group bus on the way back. There was about a 10 minute walk from where we got dropped off from the boat. Food was provided but wasn’t advised on the TUI app. We had plenty of time in the sea with snorkelling equipment and the ride going to/from was gentle and peaceful. We also got to see wild dolphins on the way back too! Would recommend booking!

Boat trip was nice. Food was an unexpected surprise and was good. Drink as much or little as you want. Toilets awkward to get to and doesn't flush away. Best to get a shaded area as your in full sun for over 3hr. Coach was pleasant but lady organising it was rushing about and we had to wait 30mins in the sun for the boat to arrive so take water with you.

This was a brilliant day out, we were picked up at 11:30, set sail at 1 and had 3 hours at sea. We had to walk from the coach to the port, only a short walk but just to prepare anyone who struggles walking. We had drinks provided and we also had lunch provided too which was not expected. The sea was absolutely freezing when we had a chance to go in so I would definitely recommend taking a towel to help dry out, but we were both dry by the time we got back on the coach. Overall a brilliant day

Loved the boat ride and all inclusive drinks. We got food which was unexpected, so a bonus. We managed to get on the nets which was fab. I would have enjoyed it less if I was sat on the hard seats in the boat. It was really fun jumping off the boat when it stopped.

What a great day out. All 4 of us really enjoyed it. From the boat trip to the swim and the bbq it was such fun. Free flowing drink helped as well! The crew were great too. It was such good value for money.

I booked on the TUI app and it did not mention that lunch was included. I am vegetarian and as they didn't know beforehand there was no vegetarian lunch option for me - I had no option to let them know when booking. The boat was a bit crowded but it was a nice trip and the crew seemed nice too.

Nice trip, staff were very helpful and friendly . Sea is very choppy so definitely recommend a life jacket if you’re not a strong swimmer. Food was a nice surprise as we thought it was just drinks included on our excursion.

Enjoyable few hours, glad we chose the early slot, not too busy and pleanty of space, around 35 people. However when we got back to the port there was a very big queue for the next trip out. The service was great out at sea, staff came around to chat to everybody. Food was nice also ??

The trip was very nice but a bit crowded. We did feel that where the boat stopped wasn't very safe. My partner used a life jacket (non-confident swimmer) and held the rope for non-confident swimmers but this still didn't help. I'm more confident but the waves were too much and I ended up being pulled under, I have done these experiences in the past and not struggled. We didn't eat the food provided for lunch as we did not like burgers and feel more options would be better.

It was a very enjoyable day. Could off been slightly longer day but that is just my personal preference, I love boats. The staff on board were really helpful and pleasant. The trip said it was just drinks provided but we had food as well. Burger and potato wedges. It was lovely to be able to jump off the boat and go for a swim. Over all a lovely morning.

No safety briefing on boat. Struggled to find tourist info place in placa europa for pickup. Had to go into another excursion office to ask. Didn't know if you were getting on right bus going. No one checked ticket and no signs on bus so hoped for the best.

Brilliant morning out for 2 adults and a 12 and 17 year old - good value with a burger included that wasn’t advertised:-) there was some confusion with bus collection and pick up but that may have been the operators problem and multiple coaches operating from the same pick up points - could have been a disaster

The day on the ship was good. The ship didn't use the sails, it motored out, stopped and motored back. It would have been nice for it to actually sail. Access to the toilet is also down a ladder. This was fine for us but be difficult for those will limited mobility. The food provided was decent but limited. Burger and wedges, unsure whether or not there was a veg option. The trip is listed as 3-5 hours but was 3 exactly, next grp waiting on dock. App booking required a paper ticket regardless.

From pick up to drop off this trip was fantastic. The crew on the Ocean Fly Catamaran were fantastic. The drinks and food that were included in the price were lovely. This is excellent value for money and I would recommend that people book this when they are on holiday as its such a fantastic experience. Once again, thank you to the crew of the Catamaran for such a lovely trip .

We enjoyed those 3 hour trip on the beautiful Ocean Fly. The pick up from the hotel was smooth, nice coach trip to the marina though we were left standing for 15 minutes with not much shade while waiting for the boat to dock. The lady managing the group was not so good for communication but got the job done regardless. The crew on board the boat were friendly and looked after the passengers. We were allowed to swim when they dropped anchor for an hour and a crew member kept us all safely in a group at the front of the boat. Food and drink were provided- lots of soft drinks, beer and champagne, then burgers and wedges. As a coeliac there wasn't a food option for me, but to be fair I didn't want food and I didn't ask so perhaps there were options. I did notice one seasick passenger who was given meds by the crew so that was good to see that level of assistance. It was a lovely 3 hour trip overall with beautiful views of the mountains and seaside, also of the incredible Portaventura skyline. It might not be the best for those with mobility issues, as getting on an off the boat and toilet access would not be easy. I would recommend this trip as a nice experience and good value for money.
