What to expect
Bologna, the capital city of Emiglia-Romagna, is traditionally called “the Wise” thanks to its oldest university in Europe, “the Red” for the red roofs of its houses, and “the Rich” for its food traditions and culinary excellence which you will get to explore together with your local guide!Try different dishes over five different food stops: ragù alla Bolognese, local Tigelle or Mortadella Cone, two of the most local street foods, Bolognese cotoletta, typical fried meat with cream, Parmesan cheese and smoke ham, a slice of traditional Rice Cake or Donut Cake, Gelato and/or high quality Italian coffee.Have a wonderful day exploring the city and trying local food!
