What we expect

Set off from Cala Gonone in eastern Sardinia for an exciting hike that will take you inside Italy's deepest canyon and among the deepest in Europe, the Gorropu Gorge.

Aboard an off-road vehicle, you will reach the beginning of the trekking trail in Dorgali. From here your adventure will start along the riverbed that gave rise to the canyon within the lush Mediterranean scrub and, step by step, you will see the imposing gorge reveal itself in front of your eyes. Inside the gorge, you will admire the imposing rock walls and white limestone boulders polished by the elements.
