What to expect

FlyOver Iceland is an immersive flight experience. The ride utilizes state-of-the-art technology to give the guest the feeling of flight. Guests will hang suspended, feet dangling, before a 20-meter spherical screen while the film whisks you away on an exhilarating journey across Iceland. Special effects, including wind, mist, and scents, combine with the ride’s motion to create an unforgettable experience. Before your flight begins, you’ll be immersed in the magic of Iceland in pre-ride events.

What to remember

The total duration of the experience is 30-35 minutes. We do recommend that you reserve one hour for your visit to FlyOver Iceland

Minimum height requirement of 102cm (40")

staff and venue all very clean and well organised. Experience was brilliant absolutely amazing it makes you realise how much more there is to iceland to explore. It also takes you to places you will probably never get too. the actual presentation was great though if you are not good with heights be ware my companion closed their eyes a few times!!. Would go again just to view again.

As most things in Iceland, the experience is quite expensive considering it's only 30 min overall. It's actually even more appropriate when you do a couple of the local trips like South shore and the Golden circle.

Really good experience. Building seems to be in the middle of nowhere so did not have high hopes. Very surprised!!. Lovely inside the building. They had pre-shows that were stunning and the ride itself. We both loved it. Despite having vertigo which was borderline being triggered by the ride, I would ride again.

Really good ride, if however you are afraid of heights you might want to think twice as the experience feels very real and have the same affects as if you were flying. Going high then coming down low very quickly.

The whole experience was seamless. From booking, flying, transfer, hotel, tours and the return journey. Everything was well organised. Iceland was spectacular. The staff had and shared a lot of knowledge about Iceland which added to the excursions. We saw a glimpse of the northern lights, the golden circle tour was amazing and the Fly over Iceland experience was well worth it. I booked the Blue Lagoon with a third party but would have been happy to book it with TUI. It is well worth the cost.

I loved this experience and had a stupid grin on my face through it! It really gives a great feeling of Iceland's landscapes, how different they actually are, all while making you feel like you're in the air actually there. That's just the ride, there are two film sections beforehand which set the scene very well, with a nice café and shop on site. The only thing that would make this 10/10 is volcanic landscapes with heat lamps. But 100% recommend.

The golden circle tour was amazing ! Enjoyed every minute ! I would recommend this tour to everyone . The flying over Iceland virtual tour a must ! Please inform holiday makers if they will need to walk to their hotel and not be dropped off at their hotel door . Felt rather vulnerable not being sure which direction to take . Driver gave directions but slightly lost in translation , it was dark and pulling luggage . Not a great way to start the holiday ! This needs to be clarified please .

This experience is so much fun….be sure to put it on your schedule!

I had a group of friends with me from the US and they thought it was outstanding. I did miss flying over a live volcano though... Would be easy to add that with a warm blast of air. But overall an excellent experience.
