What we expect

This experience will start with a personalized pick-up service at around 7am-8am from your accommodation in Rethymno. After 30 minutes, you will arrive at the most important monastery of Crete – the historical Monastery of Arkadi where you will have one hour of free time to discover its beauty. There is also a small museum where many icons and monastic relics as well as weapons are exhibited.

After that, you will visit the Museum of Ancient Eleftherna with its historical findings from Homer’s era. You will then enjoy a guided tour to the pottery workshop “TSIKALARIO”, in the village of Margarites....

Die Tour an sich war schön. Aber man sollte auch darüber aufklären das Kosten für Eintritt etc dazukommt. Bei uns waren es 19€ p.Person an Eintritt. Ansonsten war es ganz gut.

It was an excellent tour. My favourite parts were the Arcadi monastery and Margarites. The guide was nice and there was time for shopping for souvenirs.

Visites sympathiques, guide charmante. Dommage qu’aucune visite ne soit prévue en français. Arrêt dans un chouette village où on a bien mangé.

De dag met busrit was goed georganiseerd, wel een vervelende bijkomstigheid was dat we bij div bezichtigingen entree moesten betalen, waarvan niets was vermeld.
