What we expect
Located in Ludes, a village classified as Premier Cru, Canard-Duchêne has been at the heart of the greatest Pinot Noir terroirs of the Montagne de Reims since 1868, found halfway between Reims and Epernay.
You'll discover part of the six kilometers of the House's cellars and the main stages in the production of the champagnes. During the high point of this experience, you will learn how to saber a Canard-Duchêne cuvée. A technical explanation will be given to you before the sabering (a technique for opening a champagne bottle with a saber) in order to give you the right gestures and...

What to remember
Opening hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday (closed on Saturdays in January and February)
Visiting Hours: 10:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m - visit in French & 11:30 am, 3:00 pm - visit in English (subject to availability)
Kindly note that transfer to Ludes is not included
The temperature in the cellars may reach 10 degrees so please dress accordingly
There are 130 steps down and up the cellar without a lift
For people with reduced mobility, a film retracing the history of Canard-Duchêne and the production of Champagne wines may be offered
