What to expect
This tour will take you to Herculaneum, the world's best-preserved Roman city, once a rich city of merchants and nobility, whose life ended dramatically fast.
Here you'll see the waterfront where more than 300 remains of people trying to escape by sea were found, the Samnite house, the thermal baths, the Temple of the Augustales, the forum, the house of Neptune and Amphitrite, the Gymnasium, the house of the wooden partition and much more.
You won't only see the stone, marble and ceramics left, but also carbonized wood and even more exquisite paintings and mosaics than in Pompeii.

Know in advance:
The official admission ticket costs €16 per adult and €2 per reduced (EU Citizens aged 18–25), free below 18 years. The price difference is due to the additional services included in the offer

An excellent guide who explained the history of the site and knew the hidden details were would have missed. The 2 hours went quickly but we stayed on afterwards so see the whole site including the 'ugly' museum. Highly recommended

Tutto come da sito.
La visita è stata splendida, con un'archeologa molto competente e coinvolgente (grazie mille, Laura!). Il gruppo era effettivamente piccolo; ciononostante, siamo stati dotati di auricolari per poter sentire bene tutte le spiegazioni.

Buongiorno. Nulla da dire sulla spiegazione da parte del vostro incaricato. Il 02 giugno l'entrata agli scavi era gratuita ( e si sapeva già da tempo di questa iniziativa) eppure è passato tutto in sordina senza scuse da parte vostra. Non pretendo nessun rimborso ma una specifica potevate inviarla.

Prompt transport on clean comfortable coach with excellent air conditioning. Vesuvius is amazing. It's a long steep climb up which, for us, left not much time around the rim. It would have been lovely to sit with a drink up there. Our ideal would have been a 3 hr stop at this incredible place.
