Natalie the Tui assistance was amazing, very helpful, Patient, explains Everything so easily and smoothly.. She has really good expertise and view.. Was always available to contact in case of any issues.. Rhodes was a cool place to visit with lots of historic views.. Took lots of pics, but I think the hot made my camera meltdown 🥺🙂😂. then I continued with my Phone. It is also a really big island. The weather was so so hot .. guess it was due to the period of travel. I loved the trip 👍👍

the actual day was excellent , the only down side is the border controls they need to look at how they do it as it takes way to long to process everyone through. need more staff espically at peak holiday periods it will just be a nightmare.

Coach driver was helpful and the ferry was comfortable. Return journey involved too much waiting for Greek passport control to open and also, once back in Marmaris waiting for passengers who never arrived!!

Beautiful place, very overcrowded streets, mainly due to the 4 cruise ships and of course the ferry. The biggest put off was the long queues for passport control, 4 times in total which had us stood queing for ages. Likewise boarding and getting off the ferry. Especially with an 83 yr old. It was our choice to do it, but had we known we would never have booked it. Only had around around 4 hours in rhodes. Would rather have booked something different or had another day on the beach.

Rhodes was een leuk stadje met historie. Wat IKEA der leuk vond was de manier waarop de winkeliers je benaderde. Echt leuk shoppen is het niet. En bij de restaurants waar ze je temet naar binnen slepen.

Brilliant day out Rhodes is a stunning Greek island Picked up at 7:45 - on ferry and leaving by 9 Arrived at Rhodes for 10, but passport control was a nightmare, over 35 queuing (due to ees) Back a port for ferry at 4 and back in hotel by 5:30 Cracking day out all round One point - minibus felt like a death trap

Makes it easier if you are at the port earlier when you return due to passport control. Those is a pretty place but don’t get caught out by the first jewellers price make sure you shop around first

picked up timely, about 1 hour on hovercraft. Rhodes is lovely, used a yellow hop on hop off bus, driver was very nice. Got off at old town, thought we would be looking at ruins but loads of shops. Just across the road from the ferry terminal. Only thing was no-one told us what we could do in Rhodes so were a wee bit lost when we got there. Think you can get an app but am a bit older and do not use them

We enjoyed having time to explore the lovely island of Rhodes, our Rep had suggested we went on the hop on hop off and that gave us a lovely view of the city. We then spent a couple of hours enjoying the Old Town in Rhodes. This trip is not guided but well worth a visit.

Fijn dat je zelf de tijd hebt om het eiland te verkennen. Echter kijk goed naar het weer want wij hadden het ijskoud doordat er een enorme wind stond en geen zon. Dan is het niet prettig om er een hele dag rond te lopen.

Really enjoyed the harbour and the old town of Rhodes. We ended up taking a taxi to explore other parts of Rhodes and we are so glad we did. Bad - the queues at Rhodes Passport Control. Not very organised and not clearly marked where you queue so had to hope for the best.

The transfer didn’t turn up so I got up at 6am to sit for 2 hours and the bus driver didn’t have the common sense to either call the rep or hotel to let me know he had broken down. If he had I could have got a taxi to the port and made the boat. Shame as didn’t have time to re arrange

The booking was registered in the incorrect name & had to be changed at customs. Unfortunately the weather was bad; but couldn't book for the day which was fully booked. Customs was very slow considering the booking was already booked & was easier going through customs at Bournemouth & dalaman.

It was 12 h trip from our hotel, but we had only a few hours to enjoy Rhodes. The Old Town was quite big to walk around, but not many streets were interesting. In the main part there were too many shops with cheap not original things like on Turkish bazaar which was very disappointed. I wouldn't come back there especially for that price.

Shame there was two very large cruise ships there no room to walk around way to many people on the inland couldn’t walk and see wot was in the shops very over priced was charged £75 for a Dona kebab for two myself we was ripped off very upset will never go there again and I will be telling people not to bother to go there

Really enjoyed visiting Rhodes. The ferry was busy, I was disappointed that outside views were restricted and there was a lot of queuing in both directions. Not great value for money compared to a ferry journey in Scotland which would be less than half the price.

The old town of Rhodes was magical, so much history to explore. Walking the pebbled streets surrounded by buildings still as quaint and beautiful as they were hundreds of years ago was fabulous. We enjoyed a tasty Greek lunch in a local restaurant which was excellent in taste and value for money. If you love shopping there is something for all tastes and many gifts and treasures were purchased. We ended our trip relaxing on a small pebbled beach. A delightful day

No or very poor English speaking driver and rep at the port. Mic on the bus not working little to no ********** about the trip only passport control. very old bus. No return times given by rep or email we had to ask on the boat. No sign of a Tui rep at all. Could have done the same abs saved £40. Rhodes it's self is stunning.

The ferry crossing was efficient, comfortable and made good time. The embarking and disembarking at both ports lack direction and information. On issuing ticket at marmaris port office , teller failed to tell us the ticket issued was also the return ticket. We ended up queuing at the kiosk in Rhodes for 20 minutes were in fact we could have gone straight to border control and onto the ferry.

All well organised, pick up from hotel, port check-in and crossings all very smooth. Suggest that the hop on , hop off bus could be offered as an add on option, this is a great way to get an overview of Rhodes when you arrive. Cafes bars etc are expensive.

Rhodes is very beautiful but the travelling to and from was a really bad experience we were herded on and off the boat no thoughts for passengers well being, the person that met us at the hotel onto the bus just got off and not told us what to do or to expect. My anxiety level was not good.

Om er te komen ben je lang bezig bij de douane, daarna de wachttijd bij de boot. Op het eiland is meer dan genoeg te zien, maar dan wel met een volwassen gezelschap! En voor de terug reis geld het zelfde, door de douane en voordat je op de boot zit kost weer veel tijd, je kan de dag effectiever in Turkije zelf besteden is mijn mening.

Enjoyed the day but did think value was money was poor. Lots of waiting around. In all you are there 4 to 4.5 hours. Did the open top bus once there - hop on hop off - 50 euros for 2 adults & 1 kidthought that was steep. Loved the old town, if I went back would spend more time there (at port) & def wouldn’t get the bus tour, only a 10 m walk to the centre. Ferry over no guide/audio - barely see out the window- 7euros for crisps/cofee. beautiful island would prob holiday there.

Nous avons eu un problème pour monter sur le catamaran car quelqu'un nous a oubliés ainsi qu'une autre personne. Après une heure de **********, un monsieur de tui de l'hôtel Golden rock est arrivé et nous a pris dans sa voiture privée. Nous sommes arrivés dans les 10 dernières minutes. Après l'excursion une autre surprise il n'y avait personne pour venir nous chercher. Grâce à l'aide du monsieur du bus n°10, nous sommes arrivés à hotel Golden rock, d'où nous sommes retournés à notre hôtel.

Absolute joke, shambles at the port in Rhodes, standing in a line for over an hour with a seven year old in the mid day sun, no shelter no water. Then told don’t bother booking in after being directed there, put into another huge line, everyone jumping place. Do not do this with young children

Die TUI Reiseleiter hat alles gut organisiert ihre Erklärungen waren sehr hilfreich. Die Ausführung seitens Die fremd Firma waren leider nicht so ausführlich zu Die Erklärung um wieviel Uhr man am hafen sein sollte. Trotzdem eine schöne Ausflug.

Lange boottrip op gesloten schip. Geen gids op het eiland Rhodos! Mss enkele tips ( waar eten , wat te bezoeken, musea, historische gebouwen enz) meegeven voordat mensen vertrekken en mapje route rhodos + route naar info toerisme ( niet heeft internet of werkt ermee. Google maps werkt niet op het eiland !) Te kort om het centrum te verkennen . Je bent 5 u onderweg en slechts 5 uren ter plaatste. Mss aanbieden met 1 overnachting op het eiland Rhodos of latere terug vaart , indien mogelijk.

Rhodes is fantastic and certainly worth the trip. I don’t know the cost to just get a bus and the ferry compared to TUI excursions price but really they are the same thing. There isn’t a guide or any TUI staff just picked up from outside a different hotel even though the mini bus passed ours twice then left to get the ferry. Still loved it!

Great trip. Boat left Marmaris at 9am took 1hr to reach Rhodes. Had 5.5hrs to roam in Rhodes old town. Plenty of markets, bars restaurants. Lovely scenery beautiful place to visit. Highly recommend. Lots of museums take aaround1hr each.

The Rhodes day trip was very nice. Rhodes is not far and experiencing being able to go to Greece for the day was very exciting. It’s beautiful there. Very touristy and quite expensive but enjoyable. Had a lovely lunch and visited some beautiful shops including a favourite sun hat shop. This was a second time visit. Very nice though and would recommend anyone to go!

The trip itself was lovely, Rhodes lived up to our expectations, everyone from the pickup, boat were very helpful. Unfortunately the trip back to our hotel wasn't as easy, this was due to the driver going straight passed our hotel and when he was asked about our hotel he just got took the next turning and dropped us there, which we both found difficult as we both have mobility issues

I feel we should be given until 6pm to leave and get back, and not 3.30pm. This woukd be better to see more of the island and worth the money spent. Overall we are planning on heading back to Rhodes for another trip soon.

We enjoyed the trip by Catamaran. It would be nice to have some information while travelling. About Rhodes or some details of anything else as we had an hour on the boat. Loved the old town with the cobbled streets etc. We walked along the harbour! The time in Rhodes was just right for a coffee/ lunch stop and shopping!

Need to warn travellers of queues arriving into and leaving Rhodes as its a small immigration/passport control. Also would recommend planning a tour ahead of arrival as otherwise you will be left to explore on your own and could miss things.

It took an hour to get through passport control in Rhodes, each way taking two hours off the time afforded in Rhodes. Rhodes itself is beautiful and worth a visit but you don't get time there. This is an expensive trip compared to others that are available

Nice day out. Found Rhodes a bit expensive especially food and drink but that didn’t spoil the trip. Didn’t need a guide as we were informed at the port about what to do, what time to make sure we were back at port for return journey and what bus number to look for when returned to turkey. We went in low season so was still warm but not overcrowded which helped. Recommend doing this trip.

We arrived at the port 1 hour before departure but the shuttle bus driver was putting pressure of a deadline but the shuttle took 15 minutes. There was no safety announcements on the ferry in either directions as to what to do in the event of an emergency. Since this was a trip with out a guide it would have been helpful if your Rep when selling the trip explained that we didn't need to obtain a returning boarding card.

From hotel to Rhodes town took just over 3 hours each way as there are long queues at passport control at both ports. Top tip - make sure you are first off the ferry so sit as near to the door you enter via to be one of the first off. Rhodes old town was lovely but we wished we had more than 4 hours there bearing in mind we spent nearly 7 hours travelling.

Rhodos ist eine wunderschöne Insel. Aber...wir wurden zum Schiff gefahren und abgeholt. Das wars. Keine Infos wann wir wo wieder an der Fähre sein müssen. Der Aufwand und die Zeit die man in Warteschlange durch mehrere Passkontrollen etc aufwendet reduziert die Zeit auf 3-4 Stunden. Unterwegs ist man von ca. 08:00 - 19:00 /19:30. Da wir Rhodos Stadt schon kannten war es für uns einfacher. Wir persönlich fanden den Aufwand zu hoch für die netto Zeit die man zur Verfügung hat.

War einfach ein Super Tag.Die Schlangen bei der Ein und Ausreise wurden super schnell abgearbeitet.Und so blieb ganz viel Zeit Rhodos zu erkunden. Vielleicht noch ein kleiner Vorschlag: Wenn man den Haltepunkt für die Stadtrundfahrt Bussen noch in den Prospekt schreiben würde wäre das eine große Hilfe. Ultimately the experience of visiting Rhodes is a positive one however the queuing situation for passport control could do with improvement. There is no protection from the sun when in a long queue- I witnessed people arguing due to the lack of clear process which in turn left people angry as they felt pushed in front of which wasn't pleasant for bystanders. There is shade in the cafe but not once you start to queue making it uncomfortable standing in the heat, obviously leaving passengers upset

Wenn man zwei Wochen in Marmaris ist, dann lohnt sich der Trip nach Rhodos. Bei weniger Tagen ist es ärgerlich einen ganzen Tag „zu verlieren“. Die Zeit für den Weg dorthin und die Passkontrolle stehen in keinem Verhältnis zu dem tatsächlichen Aufenthalt. Man ist insgesamt mind. 4 Stunden (bei uns eher 5,5 Stunden) unterwegs inkl. Passkontrolle und hat nur 4 Stunden in Rhodos, man kann also nicht viel dort machen.

The day in Rhodes was good but there was no help either end to guide us in the right direction. Nothing was made clear and in the end we were queuing for hours in the boiling sun to get through passport control. With hundreds of people in the queue, they split the queue and we were trying to filter 2 queues through one door. There was no one to tell us where to queue, which queue to be in or where to go. It was so unorganised and chaotic, we spent more time queuing than we did actually in Rhodes

I was aware that when we got to Rhodes we were on our own, but I did think that we would be given some advice on the coach by the driver or a guide on what the process was for getting our ticket/security etc for the boat but we were told nothing…just dropped at the ferry port and left to get on with it ourselves. Once on Rhodes it would have been good to have been met by a Tui rep or a tour guide to get advice & info on where to go etc.

I really had a great time, the full day was lovely and it was well worth the money. I don’t know if I have spelt her name properly but Elife who booked our trip was absolutely lovely and showed us and told us all about Rhodes and also about Marmaris she is a credit to Tui. When she saw us at our hotel the next morning she came straight over and asked us if we enjoyed Rhodes we thanked her again.

Being able to do the day trip to Rhodes was great. Main complaints are around booking, as I was able to book for a day on which the trip was not running, thankfully the rep fixed this in resort. It is quite an expensive excursion, but the things to do in Rhodes were interesting and quite cheap. Greek passport control takes forever if you have a non-EU passport.

Lovely place to visit. People friendly and reasonably priced items to buy. Being asked to get back to the boat for 4pm instead of 5pm when the temperature was in the 30s and there was very little areas of shade to queue was very uncomfortable for several residents and could have been dangerous for elderly visitors. Jammer dat er geen transferbusje klaarstond om ons naar de verzamelpunt te brengen. Wij moesten er om 7.20 zijn om half 8 zou de bus ons komen ophalen. Bus arriveerde om 7.45 uur. Omdat wij ruim 1 km moesten lopen en niet te laat wilde aankomen vroeg vertrokken uit ons hotel: ruim 0,75 min. Zitten wachten jammer. Graag ook hostess op verzamelpunt die ons kan informeren bij de douane. Rest van de dag was top!

A trip to Rhodes is definitely advisable, the old town is so lovely! Unfortunately I wouldn't use TUI experiences for this type of experience again. The information we received changed from booking to the day before (regarding port tax which I didn't have to pay) and the checking in process needed to be clearer. The other downside was the awkwardness of telling the transfer driver 'no' when he asked us to bring him back duty free. Our return driver even asked us if we'd 'gotten the stuff'!

Hinta on hyvä, satamassa asiointi hoitui helposti ja opastus oli hyvää. Kuljetus toimi hyvin ja kuljettaja oli ystävällinen. Rodoksen satamassa kannattaa varautua jonottamaan jonkin aikaa. Päivä Rodoksella meni nopeasti, mutta satamasta on lyhyt matka vanhaan kaupunkiin, joten ehtii hyvin tutustua paikkaan.

Rhodes Town was lovely. But it's a lot of effort with security/passport control/etc for a relatively short time there. Also the boat made a lot of people sick - it would be nice to have been prepared for this ahead of time to take travel sickness pill etc. Also, might be quicker and cheaper to do on own back rather than via TUI.

The coach driver was fantastic, the only thing I would suggest that the times the tui reps are available at the hotel is advertised as due to only non secure WiFi we had no internet to book another excursion and pay securely so had to keep checking if the rep was in.The rep was very helpful when we did manage to catch up with her.

De dagexcursie van Marmaris naar Rhodos is op zich leuk, maar kost relatief veel reistijd in verhouding tot de tijd die je daadwerkelijk op Rhodos kunt besteden. Je vertrekt vroeg naar de boot, je moet in de rij staan voor de douane en het duurt daarna ook nog even voor je aan boord kunt. Op Rhodos moet je weer in de rij voor de paspoortcontrole. De terugreis verloopt gelijk, veel in de rij wachten, deels in de brandende zon.

I booked this on the app which was really easy. Being a non-guided tour, make sure you have your wits about you when the transfer from the hotel drops you off at the port as there is no one there to tell you what to do/where to go. Checking in and getting our tickets was very easy using our TUI confirmation email. The ferries were efficient and clean. I’d recommend having a look at a map and loosely plan what you want to do with your time there before arriving in Rhodes to maximise the day.
