Traveled as As a couple - 77 years old

The History Tour was so interesting and the guide at the air raid shelters in Birgu was a serving soldier and was very passionate. We visited the War Museum in Fort St Elmo and managed to see the George Cross which was awarded to the entire nation of Malta in 1942 for their resilience during the bombing. The only disappointment was that we missed the Saluting Battery's cannons at midday in Valetta. Overall it was a great day.

Great

Need more time at the war museum/shelta as felt we were rushed, plus Barakka salute unable to see as thought we would be able to go down to the lower level to see salute of cannon and learn more about it but only stood in garden area and heard it. Dissapointing. Everything felt rushed and over half an hr late being picked up.

Name of tour could lead to confusion. I booked as 'British History' but was referred to be coach driver and others as 'WW2'. Excellent tour guide. And the Air Raid Shelter museum guide was outstanding

Tour guide was very good an knowledgeable as was the guide in the shelter. More time was needed in the war museum in Valletta, too long was allocated for “own time” rather than experiencing what we’d paid for. Coach on the way was great then on the return they packed us all on a minibus in 40 degree heat. Not good.

The coach from the hotel was old & seemed badly maintained. 2 red lights flashing on dash continually, then an Orange light came on at the top of a hill at which time the driver stopped the coach & continually revved up engine until light went off then carried on down the hill. When picking up other passengers the door would not work & the driver had to use force to open it( kicking it). Luckily the coach was changed after the first stop. The guide was excellent

The tut was very good Didn’t realise how busy Malta’s roads were so had various vehicle changes which got us to and from where we needed to be but was a little confusing and worrying at first

We enjoyed the trip very much. Only drawback was two couples with mobility issues clearly could not utilise the whole tour. Even though your recommendation to avoid this tour if you had mobility problems. Ie the war shelter

Guide very knowledgeable. Saw lots of key historical & tourist hot spots. Full day, so can get tiring. Only one 45 minute stop for lunch all day. Lots of walking and steps so maybe challenging for those less mobile.

Likte informasjonen og oppbygging av tur. Likte ikke ar det var eks lunsj og heller ikke mulighet for en liten stopp for å kjøpe vann/is etc. det var veldig varmt i Valetta
