Next, you will visit Cricova Winery a real underground wine city with wide streets, warehouses, and tasting rooms. The total length of the tunnels is 120 km. The “Grand Cellars of Cricova” house a varied collection of wines and the National Oenotec. The unique exhibits (“Jerusalem of Easter” vintage 1902, the liqueur “Jan Becher” vintage 1902) together with other 158 brands of liqueurs from Burgundy, Moselle, Tokay, and the Rhine are in the collection, which includes today a total of about 1.3 million bottles.
Finally, you’ll visit one of the most picturesque sites of Moldova: the Cultural and Natural Reserve “Orheiul Vechi” (Cave Monastery Complex), 55 km from Chisinau.
