What we expect

Join this tour and explore the beautiful and varied landscapes of the Highlands.

Depart from Inverness and head north over the Beauly Firth towards the dramatic landscapes of the northern Highlands. There will be many opportunities to take photos before arriving at the exceptionally beautiful viewpoint of Loch Maree.

Head down towards the Loch to the Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve Visitor Centre for a short break and from here, you'll take a single-track road through one of Scotland’s National Nature Reserves. Your driver-guide will tell you all about the woodland regeneration in the area and may give you a chance to enjoy...

Unfortunately, children under the age of 5 are not permitted on this tour

Know in advance:

There is a luggage restriction of 14 kg per person. This should be one piece of luggage, approximately 55 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm and a small bag for onboard personal items

Please note that Eilean Donan Castle will be fully closed from 23 December until 1 February 2026, so visits inside the castle will not be possible. In addition, the castle will be closed for weddings on the following dates: 1, 5, 8, 14, 15, 16, and 27 November. You may still be able to stop for photos during these times

Please note that Eilean Donan Castle will be closed to visitors on the following dates: 14 February, 21 February, and 12–16 April. You won’t be able to visit the castle, but you will still be able to make a photo stop during this time
