The Es Cana Hippy Market is the stuff of legend. Swing back to the Sixties at this treasure trove of cubby-hole stalls, where your batik fantasies clash in a cloud of incense. Ibiza's number one and original hippy market, it has refused to move with the times. The stands are piled high with authentic and retro items, everything from kaleidoscope kaftans to beads and bangles. The guide was friendly, welcoming and very informative. It was about an hour drive to the hippy market and we were learly advised where and when the bus would leave to return to the hotel. We had 2 hours there. Possibly could have done with a little more time as we rushed to get back to the bus, but we did have a stop for a drink as it was so hot. I suppose if we hadn't stopped, we wouldn't have had to rush back Lovely trip and would recommend!

Tui guide was lovley pleasant going on the trip being dropped off by coach and picked up was very good for us as a family tui guide very informative and helpful was a lovley day lovley weather got a henna tattoo and caracature so I am very happy 😁 and would highly recommend a visit to the hippy market fab atmosphere loads of stalls the smell of incense fab 🤗

2 x 1,5h Busfahrt für das Geld und 3h Aufenthalt nur weil erst 5 anderes Hotels auf der ganzen Insel abgefahren werden waren wirklich eine Zumutung! Der Marktbesuch war toll aber die verschenkte Zeit im Bus und über 1h später wieder im Hotel ankommen als angekündigt ging wirklich gar nicht!

Bus à l’aller avec climatisation inexistante mais retour super. Guide inutile car cela reste un transfert. Ou alors si guide qu’il soit plus animateur et qu’il passe une tête de temps en temps sur le marché afin de nous apporter des infos ou autres.

Zunächst: der Service und die Organisation seitens TUI waren super, alles hat perfekt geklappt. ???? Der Hippiemarkt ist leider schon lange keiner mehr. Es gibt nichts, was man auch woanders auf der Insel bekommen kann. Ich war enttäuscht. Wenn man dann noch für einen 0,33 l Softdrink 6,50 € bezahlt und statt eines vernünftigen Kaffee eine Kapsel aufgebrüht bekommt, fühle ich mich doch ein wenig, sagen wir, veräppelt. Fazit: Muss wirklich nicht sein. Lieber was anderes machen für das Geld. .

Wir wurden am Hotel abgeholt und hatten dann und hatten dann 3 Stunden Zeit für den Hippie Markt. Der Markt ist sehr schön. Vieles ist selbst hergestellt. Es gibt für jeden alles zu kaufen. Schmuck Anziehsachen Schuhe etc. Für Essen und Trinken gibt es genug Anlaufstellen in der Anlage.

This trip should not be offered to families of young children . We booked online where it states it was a 2-4hr trip in total We were on a bus for 1.5hr each way with only 2hrs at the the market . 5hrs total 3hrs on bus! If I knew we were going to be on a bus for 3hrs in total I wouldn’t have booked it as we were taking our 6months baby. The hippy market had no toilets only portaloos so I had to change my baby’s ********** at the bus stop . Not an appropriate trip for young children at all .

Not a guided tour as described, there is a tui rep that tell you when to get off and what time to be back. We were told the bus journey was a guided tour (pointing out land marks etc) then free to shop. This is basically a bus ride to the market with 2 hours to do some shopping. If there is more than 1 or 2 of you this is an extremely expensive and limited excursion. Market is good and trip ran smoothly.

Transfer late picking us up, guide wasn’t a guide at all. She was just the coach drivers mate. She got off the bus early before dropping everyone back. She waited outside on the coach for us whilst at the market. Only got 1 hour 45 mins at the market not 3 as advertised.

This trip is a great way to get to the hippie market, a taxi would cost more (depending on group size) and the bus takes way longer so value for money I think is great. However, the advertised journey time from our hotel was 45 minutes each way. It actually took us 90 minutes each way which is a long time for just 2 hours there.

It states you pay for a local guide however the lady silke wasn’t much of a guide just someone who told us what time to be back on the coach- for 100€ I was expecting more and then we spent longer on the coach then we could at the actual market! As was late getting to us and then went long way back to hotel!

The journey itself took 60 mins from Seaview Holiday Village. 2 hrs were allocated for the market and an hours travel back. The market itself is lovely. Lots of jewelry stalls and clothes stalls. Clothes were quite expensive but the staff weren't pushy. I was able to try on the dresses without feeling pressured to buy them. Face painting for the kids. Some toy/trinket stalls. Toilets available, very clean and well looked after. Very busy , lovely to wander about though.

Deze excursie wordt aangegeven als een excursie mét Engelstalige gids… Er was een dame van TUI die met de bus meekwam, die ons ophaalde, verder was zij niet bij de excursie en ook geen Engelstalige gids die uitleg gaf, wat wij verwacht hadden. Zo staat het immers omschreven. Wij vinden het geen waar voor ons geld, dan kan je net zo goed met een taxi naar de Hippie Market gaan.

Leider hat der Guide nur unser Tickets angeschaut, uns vor Taschendieben gewarnt und sonst nichts erzählt. Für den Preis eine sehr vermessene Aktion. Das geht bestimmt mit öffentlichen Verkehr ähnlich und billiger. Der Markt ist okay, dass ist aber auch alles.

We werden om 13.30 uur opgehaald bij het hotel. We kwamen zo rond 14.30 aan bij de markt en hadden maar 2 1/2 uur de tijd om de hippie markt te verkennen. Gids was aardig maar we begrepen haar uitleg over Ibiza niet zo goed. Voor het geld wat we moesten betalen vonden wij het niet goed wat we voor terug kregen. Dit is de mening ven het gehele gezelschap van 12 personen.

I loved the smooth running and punctuality of the excursion. The coach was air conditioned which was welcomed on a hot day. The guide was informative and friendly. No traffic en route and the hippy market in Es Canar is well worth a visit if you like shopping for unique gifts and trinkets.

Es sollte als reiner Transfer verkauft werden, nicht als Exkursion! Als ich die nette Reiseleiterin ansprach, doch etwas mehr über Ibiza auf der Fahrt zu erzählen, meinte sie, dass sie das nicht dürfe, da es sich lediglich um einen Transfer handelt. Bus transfer was meant to be 45 min and one more stop to pick up more passengers. Bute then we had to drive into Ibiza town and have 6 more stops which took forever and it took 1.5 hours to get there! And the same on the way back. It was expensive paying 29 euros per person too! Not happy at all!

No Tui rep on the bus until the last few minutes. Half of us headed off away from the market to start with, only 2 and a bit hours at the market, not 3 as advertised so all a bit of a rush. Got on the wrong bus to go home as not made clear that there would be more than one tui bus, rep was pretty unpleasant about it and shouted at me.

Overall it was worth a trip as the market was good, but could be much improved with a few simple changes. No idea why the trip is in the afternoon in high season as it’s absolutely sweltering.. i nearly melted, not to mention the kids! Morning would be much better. We also didn’t get back until 7.30pm which gave no time to get ready for dinner. We also stayed in Port De Torrent and on the way back the coach went to san antonio and made 4-5 stops which took forever.

Being on a lot of excursions on various island I would not call this a trip with a ‘guide’ it was more giving us instructions on where to pick the coach up and a few muffled microphone messages on the coach about a few local hotspots, this to me does not constitute as a guide.

It’s quite a long bus journey to get there if you are based in the West of the island but the Hippy Market itself is worth a visit for the array of gifts and wares that you can purchase. There’s a good spirit in the market and no hard sell. It was easy to spend 2 or 3 hours perusing and finding some unique gifts.

Leider kam der Bus 15 min später als angegeben, diese Zeit wurde hinten nicht dran gehangen, so hatte man weniger Zeit, als eigtl gebucht. 16 Uhr angekommen und 17:45 treffen am Bus, da 18 Uhr Abfahrt. 2 Std sind sehr knapp bemessen. Um wirklich toll shoppen gehen zu können, auch mal mit Kleidung anprobieren und vlt wirklich dort im Restaurant vor Ort zu essen, müssten es 3 Std sein. Eher was für Frauen, da bis auf ein bisschen Deko zu 95% Sachen für Frauen.

Großartige Organisation gab es nicht. Hinfahrt, aussteigen, Markt und wieder zum Treffpunkt. Reiseleitung und Busfahrer sehr freundlich, alles gut. Nur war eigentlich ein anderer Markt geplant. Den, den ich sehen wollte, nicht der, der angefahren wurde. Darüber wäre ich gerne informiert gewesen. Der Markt an sich ist nichts besonderes. Würde ihn nicht nochmal besuchen.

It felt very echidna for basically the cost of a bus ride, the guide was lovely but there was little for them to do. We would have preferred longer at the hippy market too, a 10am pickup taking us right through to 5pm would have been preferable, the beach is in the town for those who don't want to spend the whole day at the market.

Goed geregelde reis. Bus haalt je op bij je hotel, was ruim op tijd, te vroeg eigenlijk. Super fijn! Leidster praatte onderweg regelmatig met de belangrijke dingen die we onderweg tegen kwamen. Dan wordt je voor de hippie markt afgezet, bus blijft daar wachten en leidster ook. Is er iets kan je altijd terug en hun opzoeken. Terug vertrek je op tijd. De tijd die je hebt voor de hippie markt lijk kort, maar is lang genoeg. Echt een aanrader, moet je zijn geweest!!

Enjoyed the market, it was very difficult to buy the experience on the Tui App, I could not download the payment page, I telephoned Tui and explained the situation where they sent me a link, which also did not work. wifi in the hotel was fairly good, but not good enough to download the payment page, Eventually it worked in San Antonio town. If there was a local rep in resort or hotel, it would have been a lot easier. Others in hotel would have booked this trip also if they knew how??

We enjoyed the convenient coach transportation to our hotel and back and feel the time allotted for us at the Hippy Market was just right. The only thing we did not enjoy was that instead of dropping off passengers based on proximity, we had to drive all the way to Cala Tarida to drop off passengers FIRST even though we were passing through the proximity of our hotel and could easily have been dropped off before then. It was an extra 90 min in transit time that was not necessary.

It was a nice few hours out. No complaints other than the fact that the coach parked quite far from the market entrance and it was an uphill walk. This was quite difficult as I suffer from sciatica. The price of the excursion was also quite high for what it actually was

Enjoyed the journey there and back, great to see other parts of the island. Hippy Market was fab, lots of stalls and great atmosphere. Walked to the beach and enjoyed food and beer there. Tour guide was very informative and ensured we were all OK. Drivers drove safely and were polite. Worth the money too as I know some said it was expensive. Taxi would cost more from where we were in cala tarida. Bonus is you get to relax and listen to some interesting information.

De hippiemarkten zelf zijn wel ok. Veel van hetzeltde. we werden eigenlijk door de reisleidster niet echt verder ingelicht, ze wist niet waar de bus was en vervolgens stapte ze als eerste eruit op een busstation en ging daarbij zonder ons te informeren gewoon weg terwijl wij de gasten nog niet eens bij het hotel waren.. normaal is het eerst gasten terug dan pas leidster.. ze gaf ons weinig tot geen info

Alles super, Beschreibung von dem Treffpunkt war etwas ungenau. Hätten wir nicht zusätzlich vor Ort nachgefragt, wären wir an der falschen Stelle gewesen. Im Bus war die Guide Dame schwer zu verstehen über den Lautsprecher. Hippie Markt selbst war Top, interessant.

Ik zat in Garbi. Ophaalpunt was Al Garb. Als het hotel personeel twee uur voor aanvang niet doorvroeg was ik voor mijn eigen hotel staan wachten. Dit wordt dus niet goed door gecommuniceerd.

Hotel was amazing as was the food. The options for experiences were limited and no contact with a rep when encountering questions, as the app did not respond in time. Small problems for a wonderful choice of holidays.

Der Ausflug zum Hippie Markt ist eigentlich nur ein Bustransfer dorthin und zurück. Wir fanden persönlich 2 einhalb Stunden für den Markt zu lang und haben eine sehr schöne Stunde an dem Strand, fünf Minuten vom Parkplatz entfernt verbracht. Dort kann man sehr gut schwimmen und es gibt ein super Restaurant

I think it's pricey considering its free to get in, so you're only paying for the transport. Would have been cheaper to get a taxi and have much longer there. Market itself is amazing!

Busy hotel; too small for the # of guests. Staff try their best, but couldn't get the kids booked on some activities. Aquapark great fun but water not the cleanest. Pool water is good though. Outdoor areas are showing their age. Room too small for 4 people, cupboards, drawers were falling apart. Food is good considering the scale. Evening kids entertainment very good, but insanely loud! Nearby beach is nice, spent a lot of time there. Transfer & flights great. TUI say hotel's a 4*; it's not.

Wel het is gewoon een aanrader om naar de hippiemarkt te gaan, dat hoort gewoon erbij als je naar Ibiza gaat. En je kan er leuke dingen kopen en er is ook leuke muziek. En je hebt tijd genoeg die er voor staat in de excursie om er goed te kunnen genieten.

Ich fand den Ausflug zum Hippie-Market sehr super und ist sehr empfehlenswert. Man sieht wunderschöne selbstgemachte Handarbeit und freundliche Menschen. Die Reiseführerinnen waren sehr Symphatisch. Sie hätten gerne noch mehr erzählen dürfen, ich fand es einbisschen zu wenig, aber vielleicht lag es einfach daran das Sie auch immer alles ins Englische übersetzt haben.

Prettig was dat je gehaald en gebracht werd. Ook goede afspraken over hoelaat en waar weer terug naar je hotel gebracht worden. De markt zelf vond ik niet heel bijzonder.

Our trip to Hippy Market was brilliant! Fantastic experience and one of recommend. Great choice of stalls and keepsakes to take home. Val our guide was excellent. Our trip was the same day as the torrential rain in May so we were only in the market for 20 minutes before having to take shelter and find a coffee shop to dry off in! This is obviously no ones fault and no reflection on TUI but did dampen (no pun intended) the experience. The great news is because we missed a full day at the market my Daughter insists we rebook the same holiday next year and re-visit. We can’t wait!

Reisleidster kon amper Engels waardoor heleboel mensen niet snapten waar ze het over had. De bus was 15 min te laat op de heenweg en 30 min te laat op de terugweg. Ik had geboekt via de tui app maar onze ( en meerdere mensen van ons hotel) namen stonden niet op de deelnemerslijst van de reisleidster.

De opstapplaats was te onduidelijk. Er zijn twee busstops in Figuretas. Dat gaf ons stress voor vertrek. Voor de terugreis was de bus 20 minuten te laat en moesten we in de brandende zon wachten op de bus. De bus reed heel anders dan de heenreis waardoor we niet in een half uur terug waren maar er anderhalf uur over hebben gedaan. Dat hadden we graag vooraf geweten. We zaten nu met honger in de bus en we moesten plassen. De excursie zelf was leuk. De gids ging drie stops eerder eruit dan ons. Beetje raar vinden wij.

Ich vermute, dass auf Grund schlechten Wetters weniger Verkäufer anwesend waren wie regulär. Das Gelände ist toll, allerdings ist die Hälfte der angebotenen Ware "import" . Schade drum, aber einen Besuch wars trotzdem wert.

Second visit to the Hippy Market, it is a same it has to be in the afternoon as it was really too hot to appreciate it. A welcome trip back to our hippy youth, lots of brilliant jewellery and clothes and the live music is a big bonus
