Die Rundfahrt war insgesamt betrachtet schön. Leider wurde nicht an jeder Sehenswürdigkeit ein Stop gemacht, um davon Fotos schießen zu können. Auch haben wir nähere Informationen zu Griechenland und deren Geschichte vermisst. Es wurde nur explizit auf die gesehene Sehenswürdigkeit eingegangen.

De reisleitster begon al te vertellen, als iedereen nog niet als groep compleet was.??????. En ze sprak niet duidelijk. Mensen die achteraan stonden, verstonden niets. Excursies waren te kort. Vrije tijd van 4 uur, veels te lang. De bus was zeer slecht weinig been ruimte. Heellaas zeer zeer slecht.

Die Stadt selber hat uns gefallen. Die Stadtfpürerin hat außerhalb vom Bus zu leise gesprochen. Ein Headset wäre angebracht und gut gewesen. Verstanden hat man nur was, wenn man unmittelbar vor ihr stand.

Hinfahrt mit einem Bus,der in einem sehr schlechtem Zustand (Nr.109). In der Stadt saßen wir in einem viel zu großem Bus,die Tour sollte in kleineren Bussen stattfinden. Der Guide,war leider nicht so gut,wir stellten uns bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten bei anderen Guides dazu. Die angefahrenen Sehenswürdigkeiten waren so lala, 2 Stück, das fanden alle sehr schlecht,an den Highlights ist man vorbei gefahren. Hop on, hop off ist wahrscheinlich viel besser,als diese überteuerte Tour!

Die Einführung bei Ankunft in Thessakoniki war nicht /kaum zu verstehen. Der Rundfahrtbus hatte so dreckige Scheiben, macht viel Sinn bei ner Stadtrundfahrt,Klimaanlage ging fast gar nicht. Die Führung der Reiseleiterin war allerdings super !

Insgesamt war es eine schöne Tour. Wir hatten überlegt, ob wir nur die Shopping-Tour machen oder mit Stadtführung (gleicher Bus). Freuen uns aber, dass wir uns für die Stadtführung entschieden haben (ca. 2 Std.), denn sonst wäre man wahrscheinlich gar nicht in die hohe Altstadt gekommen. Da war es sehr schön. Desweiteren gab es eine Kirchenbesichtigung vorbei am alten Markt. Danach hatten wir 3 Stunden Zeit allein durch die Gassen von Thessaloniki zu schlendern. Die Zeit reichte vollkommen.

Die Stadtführung war sehr informativ. In wenigen Stunden durfte man die wichtigsten Punkte in der Altstadt und im Zentrum besuchen und die Erklärungen waren sehr fundiert. Auch die freie Zeit war ausreichend, um die Eindrücke zu vertiefen. Ausflug sollte jeder Chalkidiki Urlauber machen, da dort auch viel über die Geschichte des Christentums und der Muslime sichtbar werden

Eine Führung ist es nicht wirklich. Erst fährt man knapp 2 Stunden mit dem Bus und sieht die angesagten Sehenswürdigkeiten im vorbei fahren und bekommt Infos dazu. Führung war es effektiv knapp 20 Minuten in der Kirche. Ab 12.30 Uhr hat man dann Freizeit bis 16 Uhr in der Stadt. Die Reiseleitung läuft vorne weg und nimmt mangelhaft Rücksicht auf ihre Gruppe an den Ampeln bzw überqueren der Straßen. Für Kinder und ältere Menschen definitiv nichts. 1€ für die Toilette mitnehmen ist wichtig

Zuverlässiger und freundlicher Busfahrer. Die Info zum Abholpunkt war nicht eindeutig. Es hätte vielmehr heissen müssen……. Öffentliche Bus-Haltestelle „ Melathron Hotel“ an der Hauptstrasse in Richtung Kallithea! Stadtrundfahrt und Rundgang mit der Führerin sehr informativ, sprach auch perfekt Deutsch. Aber 4 1/4 Stunden Freizeit waren in der Hitze wirklich deutlich zu lang bemessen!. Da wäre ein fakultatives Angebot für eine Besichtigung o.Ä. sehr angebracht gewesen.

Die geführte Tour war wirklich super. Die Busfahrer und die Tourführerin waren toll. Man hat sich sicher und gut informiert gefühlt. Was uns überhaupt nicht gefallen hat, war die freie Zeit zum Erkunden Thessalonikis. Es war insgesamt für uns zu lang. Wir haben uns alleine sehr unwohl gefühlt. Richtige Möglichkeiten zum Shoppen haben wir nicht gefunden.

War alles super mit Tui????wir waren sehr zufrieden ????leider am Ende des Ausflug hat uns jemand Rücksack gestohlen mit allen Dokumenten und Souvenirs welche wir gekauft haben ??Das hat aber natürlich nichts mit Tui zutun . Schöne Grüße und Dankeschön.

The guide was lovely, unfortunately the information that she gave us was mostly about the history of Thessaloniki, which was not what we had expected. It felt very long, and we were very hot, tired and thirsty. It was nice to see the landmarks of the city, and this could have been delivered in a quarter of the time. The bus driver was exceptional, but he had to wait for a considerable time for pick ups in the morning and afternoon, which amounted to about an hour, which was entirely unacceptable

Die Reisebetreuung hat erst in der Stadt selber begonnen, nicht bereits bei Abholung vom Hotel. Das war aus unserer Sicht ein Manko. Die Stadtrundfahrt selber hat uns gut gefallen, man hat einiges gesehen und viele Informationen erhalten. Nach der Rundfahrt hatten wir noch ausreichend Zeit zur freien Verfügung in der Stadt.

We enjoyed our trip, but instead of walking tour we did our own thing and got the red tourist bus. Took a full circuit then decided where we wanted to get off at. Is a full day and you will need comfortable shoes and a hat. Enjoyed a cocktail on way back to coach.

Picked up by mini bus and told the main bus could not get up to hotel. The previous trip we went on the large bus picked us up at reception! There were no seats left together when we got to main bus. We were left at drop off in Thessaloniki for 30 minutes before starting the tour. After the guided tour we had 4 hours free time. Far too long and not what we expected for a paid guided tour. TUI rep stated Thessaloniki has most archaeological treasures in Greece and were expecting to be shown more.

Great tour guide very knowledgeable some very nice sites visited we spent the morning seeing the different sites.tour guide left us for free time about lunchtime. Only downside the free time was a little long 4 hours to have lunch and a stroll was a little too much time especially in the heat we experienced but overall good day out

Unser Guide (eine junge Dame) war spitze, viel Humor und sehr viel Wissen! Beantwortete alle Fragen und sprach perfekt deutsch. Der Busfahrer muss unbedingt lobend erwähnt werden, der lenkte den Bus cm-genau durch die Engstellen und das mit aller Ruhe. Die Pünktlichkeit war sehr löblich. Ich würde diesen Ausflug weiterempfehlen.

Reisefuehrerin Note 10+,die Dame ist die Enzyklopaedie von Thessaloniki,noch dazu sehr freundlich,energisch und herzlich. Die Organisation der Besichtigung fand ich auch sehr gut,hatten zuerst Durchfahrt,dann Durchgang. Genau das fand ich gut,dass wir zuerst mit dem Bus durchgefahren sind und dann genau da auch zu Fuss. Meine Frau und ich haben diese Busreise nach Thessaloniki sehr genossen. Wir hatten einen deutschsprachigen Reiseführer, der alles sehr ausführlich erklärt hat, was einfach super war. Die Fahrt mit dem Bus durch die engen Gassen der Stadt und die Aussicht auf die Stadt Thessaloniki von oben, gigantisch. Auch die Stadtführung hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Man hatte auch später noch Zeit zum Shoppen und Essen gehen. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Leider wurde kein Audioguide, entgegen der Beschreibung, zur Verfügung gestellt, dadurch war die Führerin zeitweise nicht zu versehen. Lt. Aussage der Leiterin, gibt es grundsätzlich keine Guides. TUI sollte daher dringend die Beschreibung ändern, oder Audioguides zur Verfügung stellen. Es wurden alle wichtigen Orte in Thessaloniki gezeigt, Um eine erste Übersicht von der Stadt zu erhalten sehr hilfreich.

Es hat alles gut geklappt. Ausflugslänge von Nea Portida ca 9 Stunden. Die Stadtrundfahrt war interessant und der kleine Rundgang hinterher gut. Zu erwähnen ist, dass Saloniki nun nicht die Highlights hat, die Atmosphäre ist das entscheidende. Hinterher war ausreichend Freizeit. Uns hat das alles gut gefallen.

Nur der Transfer in die Stadt für 36€ macht keinen Sinn. Die Stadtführung erst mit dem Bus und dann zu Fuß war sehr gut. Die Zeit zur freien Verfügung bis zur Rückfahrt war vollkommen ausreichend. Die Informationen und Tipps der sympathischen Reiseführerin waren sehr gut und hilfreich. Jederzeit wieder.

Weil unser Abholdienst,(nicht Tui) uns nicht auf der Teilnehmerliste hatte, musste die ganze Reisegruppe eine halbe Stunde auf uns warten. Wegen der Verspätung waren wir auch nicht über den Ablauf der Stadtführung von Thesaloniki informiert. Die Stadtführung durch eine Lokale Hostess war kompetent und aufschlussreich, und übertraf unsere Erwartungen. Ein telefonat bei Tui bestätigte uns den zuständigen Reisecar für die Rückfahrt zum Hotel.

We loved this trip. The sites we were shown were interesting and the guide was really knowledgeable. We found a lovely place for lunch and then gently ambled to a few shops and back along the coast to the coach. Our only criticism is that we didn’t have very long looking at each point of interest and then had 3.5 hours to ourselves which would have been too long had the weather not been as warm as it was.

Generally really good. Guide was informative but at times it was difficult to hear what was being said due to the large size of the group. Although the trip says guided walking at least half was done whilst on the coach. Overall the trip could have been an hour shorter as it was a long day.

Under Fahrer sowie unser Tour Guide Maria waren sehr freundlich und kompetent. Maria hat ein enormes Wissen über ihre Stadt, sodass sie viele Details erzählen konnte. Wir hatten bei dieser Tour mit etwas mehr Fußwegen anstatt Busfahrt durch die Stadt gerechnet, was allerdings bei der Wärme in diesem Zeitraum kein Nachteil war. Eventuell könntet Ihr das mit in die Erlebnisbeschreibung aufnehmen.

Although it would've been cheaper to get a bus ourselves we wouldn't have been taken to the castle and shown other points of interest or been provided with a knowledgeable guide. We were also dropped off at the right place for free time. We all agreed (even our children aged 15 and 11) that it was one of our favourite days whilst on our two week holiday.

Very interesting, well paced. Suggestion: Providing a written description of what was on the program would be helpful, as especially on the street it is difficult for everybody to hear the explanations provided by the guide. E.g. sending an email before the trip with all the details would help a lot. Of course the oral explanations remain essential.

In 2019 we did the walking tour and it was fascinating, we went to a church in the village that was covered in plaster as the Moore's were coming. It is the only chapel I have seen a teenage Jesus. We were looking forward to going again. We were taken to a large church in the village instead on this trip, which we saw on the last trip. This trip did not have the same impact as the one 4 years ago.

Saw the main sights of the city and places where we could get good views. It was a great way to see the main parts of the city which would be too far apart to do on foot. Guide was very informative - lots of information although we would have liked more detail about the history of the city (but we are history buffs!) A really lovely place and well worth the trip. We had a little more spare time at the end than we needed, but otherwise the timings were great.

Toller Guide Maria, die für ihre Stadt brennt. Super die Zusammenarbeit zwischen ihr und dem Busfahrer der an einigen Plätzen langsamer fuhr als erlaubt... Viele interessante Informationen und eine schöne Route..Der anschl. Stadtbummel in Eigenregie lohnt auf jeden Fall, da hatte nicht nur meine Tochter was von... Der Ausflug war insgesamt gut, die Reiseleiterin in Thessaloniki war sehr gut, professionell und sehr freundlich, sowohl bei der Stadtrundfahrt- als auch beim der anschließenden Stadtrundgang. Der Bus war in Ordnung. Unmöglich fanden wir, dass wir morgens 35 Minuten in der Sonne auf den Bus beim Transfer warten mussten. Man hielt es auch nicht für nötig, sich dafür zu entschuldigen, oder zumindest eine Begründung dafür abzugeben.

We liked the tour part, it just wasn’t very long in the end. What made it feel worse was we had lunch then after then we had to find away of killing 4 hours in a city we don’t know, and look at shops we have in the UK lime H&M Nike, Adidas, Zara. We would have prefer to have lunch then the bus pick us up at 1:00 - 1:30pm not 4:15.

Das Zimmer 1130 liegt direkt am Stromgenerator der während der Nacht Lärm und Abgasen im Zimmer zu hören und zu spüren waren. Der Lärm vom Generator war sehr laut und die Abgase waren so heftig dass wir gezwungen waren das Zimmer zu wechseln. Durch den Wechsel haben wir nicht das gleichwertige Zimmer bekommen

Gefallen: Die Reiseleiterin hat sämtliche Information perfekt herrüber gebracht. Sie war sehr informativ und hat sich immer versichert, dass alle beisammen bleiben. More time could have been given at the upper walls/city. We stopped for 20 minutes, which by the time you have a rest room break is not long enough to explore up there. You get to take photo’s then it’s back on the bus. After the church visit we walked together to the ancient ruins of market city and then down to the shops. We then got given 4 hours free time which is too long as it’s too hot to walk back up to the upper walls etc. this was a quick tour and then a shopping trip.

Die Reiseleitung und auch der Busfahrer waren klasse! Für den Stau in Thessaloniki kann keiner etwas. Ein Stadtplan wäre nett gewesen, auf dem z. B. der Markt und andere Geschäfte verzeichnet sind. Die freie Zeit ist ausreichend.

Good tour, with a solid 2.5 hours of free time afterwards before pick up (Thessaloniki is a great foodie city!). Tour guide was fantastic, and you see all the key sights of the city. Their isn't lots of walking involved, so don't panic if (like us) you're not very fit!

Die Abholung hat sehr gut funktioniert, die Zeit zum Erkunden der Stadt war gut und ausreichend. Die Informationen über die Stadtgeschichte war im Bus sehr informativ. Allerdings gibt es auch nicht so schöne Punkte zu berichten. 1. Stop war an der alten Stadtmauer, dort herrschte das reinste Chaos, keiner wusste wohin und unser Guide war nicht zu finden. In der Beschreibung steht mit Audioguide, den gab und gibt es nicht mehr! So konnte man nicht alles Verstehen auf dem Rundgang durch die Stadt.

Enjoyed the guide and the walking tour. Good amount of free time. Bus condition poor. Embarrassed to be waiting at the wrong pick up point and delaying the tour. Not our fault as the online booking states pick up at the bus stop for Rigas Hotel whereas it was actually the shell garage. Please amend to avoid others having the same embarrassment in getting onto the coach.

Die Zuverlässigkeit und Freundlichkeit des Busfahrers und das am frühen Morgen, war ein schöner Einstieg in den Ausflug. Vor Ort eine Orientierungsrundfahrt, danach ein gemeinsamer Spaziergang zur Vertiefung der Themen fanden wir sehr gelungen. Die Reiseleiterin war sehr professionell und sprach perfektes Deutsch und Englisch. Nach dem Spaziergang hatten wir genügend Zeit zur freien Verfügung, so dass man in Thessaloniki auch noch essen oder einkaufen konnte. Alles in allem ein super Ausflug!

Maria, the guide was brilliant. As she was a native Greek, she talked with fantastic knowledge of the city and showed us all the aspects of the city that would interest us. We enjoyed that some of the tour was on the bus, allowing us to access larger areas of the city, but then some was on foot. We had ample time to explore the city ourselves. Overall, a great trip and excellent value for money.

It was good to be able to see the sights but I think it needs to be marketed as a bus tour rather than a walking tour. As the tour was predominantly filled with German guests the tour guide seemed to focus more on them and sort of left the English guests to themselves.
