This two-day cruise through Lan Ha Bay and the quieter corners of Ha Long Bay combines dramatic limestone scenery, hidden lagoons and authentic island life. Your journey begins at Ben Beo Pier, where you’ll board your boat and set sail into Lan Ha Bay, passing towering limestone karsts and the traditional Cai Beo Floating Village. As you cruise deeper into the bay, a freshly prepared Vietnamese lunch is served onboard, giving you time to take in the sweeping coastal views. In the afternoon, the adventure begins with kayaking through quiet lagoons and natural rock archways, where hidden corners of the bay reveal rare wildlife, including the golden-headed langur. The journey continues into more remote waters, with a stop at Ba Trai Dao Beach for swimming and the chance to jump from the boat into clear, calm seas. Later, you’ll visit a floating fish farm before joining a hands-on cooking experience. As night falls, take part in a guided kayak trip to witness glowing bioluminescent plankton, with the option for a night swim beneath the stars. You can also try a natural fish massage in a nearby stream before returning to the boat. After check-out, the cruise continues to Monkey Island, where you’ll have time to relax on the beach, hike to a panoramic viewpoint or observe the island’s playful monkeys. Lunch is served onboard as you sail back through the bay, before disembarking at Cai Beo Harbour for your transfer to Hanoi or Ninh Binh, bringing your island adventure to a close.
