What we expect

Explore the world's largest historical armory with your entrance ticket to Landeszeughaus Styrian Armory. Experience the unique atmosphere inside a historical armory dating back to the 17th century, holding around 32,000 objects from times of conflict.

This living memorial to Styria's war-torn past offers guests insights into the history of Austria while you gaze upon the preserved weapons and tools.

Walk through four floors to discover the vast collection of shining armor, magnificent swords and masterpieces of gunsmithing.

Extra fees to be paid on-site:

Guided tours of the museum are not included but can be purchased at the ticket counter for € 3 per person

Know in advance:

Guided tours are available at 12.30 pm in English, 11.00 am and 2.00 pm in German
Guided tours are approximately 1 hour
Maximum of 25 persons per guided tour
Audioguides are offered in English, German and Italian. There is also a media guide in Austrian Sign Language
Children and Youths (age 0-18) can enter the museums for free - free tickets are issued at the museum's ticket counter
Opening hours:
April 1 – October 31, 2025: Tue–Sun and public holidays, 10 a.m.–6 p.m
Museum hours/days of operation are subject to change; please check the opening hours before your visit
