Know in advance:
The Patronage of Alhambra and Generalife requires to indicate the full name, age, passport (or identity card) and nationality of each visitor; this information is essential when purchasing a ticket. The name given at the time of booking must be the same name that appears on the identity card or passport of each participant. If the full name of each participant is not entered at the time of booking, admission to the Alhambra will not be guaranteed

What a beautiful place. I had an Alhambra beer, very good, and a small tapa, that you get with a drink, before i started the tour. The Nasrid Palaces are awesome. The guide, Maria, was simply amazing, and was very informative. A very pleasant day.

Wij waren er ruim op tijd. Toen bleek helaas de rondleiding ook nog 30 minuten later te starten waarvoor wij geen bericht hadden ontvangen, ook al beweerde de organisatie van wel. Ook niet in mijn SPAM. Dat vonden wij een minder prettige start. Daarna verliep alles verder prima. Ook de persoonlijke oortjes waren erg prettig waardoor we de gids goed konden verstaan. We hebben genoten van het bezoek aan het Alhambra!

Unser Guide war ein Architekturstudent und konnte entsprechend mit einem fundierten Allgemeinwissen aufwarten. Statt der vereinbarten drei nahm er sich viereinhalb Stunden Zeit für die Führung. Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert. Sonnenschutz und eine Flasche Wasser sollten im Gepäck sein.

Our guide, Marta, was absolutely magnificent. Her knowledge of the history of the Alhambra and its occupants was impressive, While her delivery in English was understandable and appropriately humorous. We were with her for almost 4 hours as she detailed every aspect of its history.

Of course Alhambra is fantastic but the guide was just average. Her French was sometimes not understandable and she kept repeating the same things over and over. It's not enough to repeat "this is very interesting". Maybe she knows well the history but she cannot express it in French

Purchased tickets on line one week prior to the date of tour. When I printed them out, only then realized that tickets were for Spanish guide- for our family of 5. $275! I immediately contacted vendor (Musement) and even gave alternate date options, but told “too bad”. Lousy service.
