The experience was very good if you have a head for hights. I dont but still enjoyed the experience. Thought we would have a photo opportunity when at the highest point. Having the guide following in the vehicle behind giving the information was not the best as at times it was difficult to hear what he was saying. The food was the biggest let down if I come again I would not appreciate eating where we ate sorry.

The lunch was terrible! Awful food. Overcooked tough chicken, watery veg. Not good. I was also really disappointed not to learn more about the detail of the religious and cultural history of the island. Why did we not stop at the sacred rocks?More time spent at expensive aloe Vera shop than the historic sites, whose significance not fully explained. The guide couldn’t answer my questions. He was more interested in pointing out shopping centres. Our one photo viewpoint we were only allowed 5 mins

the views and villages were absolutely stunning how ever we could not hear what our guide was saying so not a lot learnt about the history of the island we also felt rushed to get back in the minibus tejeda and needed the toilet we walked to them and straight back and back on the buss and just saw one street. lunch was ok good food and not rushed to much the visit to teror was very quick and did not give much time to explore.

We enjoyed the trip over all but having two mini buses connected with 2 walkie talkies didn’t help. A lot of the time we couldn’t understand what was said because of interference and we felt that the guide didn’t speak clearly enough so we could hear at the back of the second bus. It also would have been nice to have a little longer at each town we stopped at as there wasn’t enough time to walk around.

Enjoyed the tour of the villages and the drivers knowledge of the area. Aloe Vera farm was interesting. Staff were lovely and friendly. Though the meal was ok, a few more choices would have been nice, to cater for a variety of tastes. The drive did make us all feel a little sick at times, but assume that’s the height and roads .

No restaurante onde foi servido o almoço, com o nome "El Rincón de Marcos", o meu filho de 11anos, foi esquecido de lhe ser servido o almoço, tendo eu reclamado com a funcionária do restaurante e depois esteve cerca de 30 minutos à espera de ser servido. Pelo que tenho de referir que relativamente ao restaurante foi efetuado um péssimo serviço. Em relação ao restante serviço foi cinco estrelas.

Had a lovely English guide very informative. Was better as it was a mini bus rather than a coach so easier to hear what was being said. Lunch stop was 3 courses and a drink more than I expected to be honest. Would definitely recommend it

This tour was split into different language groups so our minivan was all English guests and our driver was Alan, who was English. He had been doing tours for over 20 years and had a vast store of knowledge about the island, a lot of which he shared with us. He explained the climate and culture and also where to find things in the places we stopped at, but then left us to explore independently at our own pace, which I liked. The time spent at each stop was of adequate length.

Guide & driver both fantastic. Lunch & stops themselves were good. simply wasn't enough time at each stop - the aloe Vera plantation was fine, only had 20 minutes in Fataga, 25 in Tejeda & 40 in Teror. Second stop was barely enough time to walk into village, use toilets & quickly browse shop. Same for Teror. Felt extremely rushed. Of the 8 hours on the trip, we spent around 2.5 off the bus (including lunch). Had to wait 30+ mins in morning for another vehicle to meet us so maybe this was why.

We both really enjoyed the tour, Alan was a brilliant guide who's knowledge of the island was super, and we felt quite safe on the winding roads up in the mountains. The Aloe vera talk was very interesting, and the food was really tasty at the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Village stops quite short maybe increase one of them by 15minutes?The guide was great as was driver. Inclusuve Lunch...well best soup i ever had!! and the rest of meal yummy, that as inclusive made the whole day very good value for the money. The guide was good but the tour felt rushed at some areas but the worst thing was the hot lunch we arrived at the restaurant and both ordered the beef we had bread and soup to start that was fine, but the beef was more fat and what beef you got was tough and nearly cold and as we were sat outside in some plastic tent type thing in the rain didnt help we felt the spoilt the trip from then on. So glad to get back to the hotel.

Steve the guide was excellent, his knowledge of Gran Canaria extensive.. he had a great sense of humour and made a long day fun. Edmundo was a great driver. The day was interesting and informative, however, the lunch was very disappointing. We sat under a marquee, not in the restaurant. It was a cold, wet day. The food arrived lukewarm and was tasteless. For a long day out, I expected better and arrived back hungry. Another venue should be considered.

The guide was informative and funny. However the let down was that there was limited time at the stops to fully experience the villages -the Aloe Vera stop was interesting. The most disappointing part unfortunately was the lunch stop where we arrived at what looked like a lovely restaurant with stunning views however we were ushered into a out door restaurant covered with a gazebo and it was cold and rainy the gazebo leaked over us and there were no views food was very disappointing poor value

The tour was the highlights of GranCanaria and we were taken in a small mini bus . The tour guide and driver were excellent throughout the tour . We stopped at an Aloe Vera farm which was excellent then onto two villages in the mountains . However we were only allowed half hour for each stop and it felt too rushed . We travelled onto a restaraunt for lunch ,,however the meal was very poor . We then travelled to another village where everything was closed apart from coffee shops .

En väldigt bra upplevelse, även om det var en del sanddis just den dagen. Aloe Vera plantagen var både intressant och lärorikt. Guiden Steve var oerhört kunnig och påläst. Berättade om Cran Canarias och de andra öarnas uppkomst och fram till idag. Chauffören var oerhört hjälpsam och omhändertagande. Stoppen vid Tejeda och Teror var också bra.

I wouldn't recommend either this trip or the guide Astrid. Astrid spoke at length about money,safety and immigration. I learned very little about how Gran Canaria's volcanic history or the history of the Canaries generally. Very disappointed with this excursion.

This experience took place Althea while island was covered with a severe dust storm, visibility was limited to a few yards. The food served at lunch was abysmal. And a number of guests on the tour were display health issues due to the dust laden air. This tour should have been cancelled due to the storm.

Coach driver was very competent. Guide not as engaged as she could have been. Dropped off in villages & left to own devices no explanation of village, why it had been includec on tour etc. Lunch wasnt as expected, one waitress trying to do everything. A gluten free lady in group wasnt catered for. 2 in our party felt unwell during journey, it could have been explained this is possible/common. Been on lots of Tui tours before, this wad by far the worst. Very disappointing & expensive.

The guide Steve was very good and informative as well as being humorous. The lunch was generally disappointing. The soup was tasty but the main course was poor quality and under seasoned ( fish) . Sauce was gloopy. My husband's beef stew was gristle. The pudding was whipped fatty air - not at all pleasant. Prefer to pay a bit extra for something more tasty. More time at last stop would have been good also.

The driver was great and we felt very safe with their driving on the mountain roads. The guide was in a different bus to us and used a walker talkie to relay information. It wasn’t always possible to hear everything. Some people on our bus couldn’t hear anything the guide said. It would have been better if we had a guide on each bus. We enjoyed seeing the varied geographical areas of the island and the lunch was filling. A few more photo stops would have been nice

The transit van that picked us up was so cramped for those of us who had to sit in the back, it was the most uncomfortable journey as the seats were far too small. We also got soaking wet from the air condenser. I was very wet for part of the day and it rained heavily. The Aloe Vera plantation was fantastic. The lunch we had the starter was very good but the main course was horrible. Most people left at least half their main course.

The overall tour was good. Our guide was Marco and he was very informative. Our arrival and time in Teror coincided with the church being closed every afternoon which was disappointing. The lunch was a little mediocre. We were in the middle row of seats and could hear Marco, but I am not sure the people in the back seats could hear him. He did not have voice amplification equipment.

Det skulle ha varit 2 svensktalande guider. Verkligheten var att en av chaufförerna var svensktalande och pratade en del under tiden han körde. Det förkom ingen guidning på de ställen vi besökte. Vi blev inte upplysta om vad som var intressant att titta på förutom en kyrka som tyvärr var stängd. Vid lunchen fattades det 4 portioner fisk som restaurangen snabblagade i efterhand med resultatet att man kom att servera fisk som var delvis rå och oätbar. Ena bordet var klart 30 min före det andra.

Det dårlige: Vi tog turen, familie på 4, børn på 4 og 5 år. Der var ingen advarsler om at al kørsel foregik i hårnålesving inde midt på øen. Når man ikke har været inde og opleve øen, kan det ikke forventes af de rejsende at vide dette, og ********** ikke i hvor slem grad svingene foretages i. Vi var alle køresyge hele turen, og vi var ikke de eneste. Vi havde byttet plads med andre rejsende undervejs, men de måtte tage deres sæder tilbage, da de også var dårlige. Guiden talte kun svensk.

We were guided by the rep to go via minibus as that provided an English speaking guide. This turned out to be a walkie talkie linked to another minibus. Dialogue was impossible to understand and was hindered by interference. The weather was cold yet at the restaurant we were seated outside. The food was cold and my ‘meat’ was fat and gristle. The stops were not long enough and there were no toilets available on one of them. I would not recommend this minibus tour.

Didnt enjoy anything. Crammed into the back four seats of the minibus, no room to look around to see any view. Told we were having English speaking guide, only to find the tour guide was in another mini bus speaking through a walkie talkie into our bus. Couldn't understand a word Very poor. Wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

rigtigt god guide, med mange info om øen. MEN vi skulle på besøg i 2 kirker og det viste sig at vi ikke kunne komme ind og se dem og det var noget vi havde glædet os til at komme ind og se og vi fik ingen forklaring på hvorfor vi ikke kunne komme ind men begge kirker var låste og netop de 2 kirker er med i jeres program på turen så det var en skuffelse. Ellers var det en meget god oplevelse vi fik på 8 timer - vil da også godt fortælle andre om denne gode tur MEN vi fik ikke det vi kom efter ØV.

I enjoyed the tour & the information the guide supplied, however, my partner and I had to sit separately in the bus which was unexpected and took away some of our enjoyment of the tour. Obviously, no one wants to sit separately so no one else offered to swap seats at any point. When we stopped for lunch the guide ensured all couples sat together. Perhaps you should point out that couples are not always sat together.

The communication between the 3 vehicles by radio was unsatisfactory. The time allocated for the stop offs was either too short or too long. The lunch was poor and tepid. Generally we felt we were left to our own devices when it was expected to be a conducted tour.

One stop off point, Roque Nublo, was skipped with no explanation. We wanted to visit this point. The commentary was via intercom from the minibus in front. The issues with this were: 1. Hard to hear 2. Lots of static noise 3 Cut in and out as the buses separated There was approximately 5 hours on the minibus, 5 hours seemed a very long time with poor commentary. . The three course lunch was so so. The soup was merely okay, the fish was good but the dessert was just flavoured cream. Poor value.

This is an excellent excursion showing the variety of landscape, climate, flora and fauna. The Swedish (I cannot recall his name) is extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the tour and life in Gran Canaria in general. The tapas lunch was very good. I would definitely recommend this excursion.

På returvejen kørte vi nordfra LIIGE forbi 'vores' hotel i Bahia Feliz, men fik ikke mulighed for at stå af dér, - men måtte køre med HELE vejen til Maspalomas og Playa del Ingles, og først derefter kørt hele vejen tilbage til 'Orquidea' :-/ :-( Dèt var ærgerligt!!

Chauffören var bra och trygg bilförare och guiden Steve kunnig och rolig. Rundturen var bra planerad och jättetrevlig med stopp vid en utsiktsplats, i små trevliga bergsbyar och en aloeranch. Lunchen var sisådär som helhet och drar ner betyget. Rätt slamrig restaurang med andra stora grupper och bara två toaletter. Soppan och brödet till förrätt var goda, men huvudrätten så där; min fisk var torr, min mans kötträtt var okej men köttet kunde ha varit mörare. Efterrätten väl söt.

Minibus to minibus narration via walkie talkie meany static and couldn’t hear a.word the guide was saying so rubbish coz no information about anything we were seeing. Also seats on the search meant no leg room for me - had to sit sideways because nowhere to put leg nearest the window. So very uncomfortable all day. Would not use TUI tours again. The whole thing was a repeat of our previous mountains and salt flat tour. I have asked for a refund for both of these tours.

Tour was interesting and informative. Our guide, Steve, was friendly and very knowledgeable. Gave just the right amount of information. Lunch was fine. Efficient with decent choice of hot food. The stops were ok, but maybe one less would have been better to give us a little more time when we did stop. The mini bus was quite comfortable but as a mountain tour it has lots of very steep slopes and windy bends Should maybe make people aware, as those who aren’t good travellers may struggle.

Steve the guide was excellent. The food at the restaurant was a complete letdown. No taste, fish with no seasoning. No vegetables just a sliver of green pepper. Absolutely shocking the chef should be embarrassed to serve this up.

I was ill so couldn’t go. To get a refund you need a doctor’s certificate. It costs more to see the doctor than the price of the trip. It seems TUI would have preferred me to have gone and thrown up over other guests or caused a possible situation when I would have caused great inconvenience to others if I had to be removed from the trip. Terrible lack of humanity. I will not be booking any more trips.

We did not like the fact the first hour was spent picking up other people from several different resorts. We did not stop for lunch until 2.00pm The lunch left a lot to be desired! We then had to put up with another hour at the end of the day dropping the others off at the various hotels, not arriving back at our hotel until 5.45 way past the 4.00pm quoted by the TUI rep!!!

Enjoyed the trip but was frustrated at how little time we had at the villages, spend far too long having lunch, would have much preferred a shorter lunch with less food, tapas along was sufficient, didn’t need main course as well. Many folk left it as far too much. Would have liked more information on the history of the island and villages visited and less about life in Gran Canaria today

Communication via walkie-talkies in each minibus, with the driver acting as guide from the second bus of three created a lot of interference which meant that a lot of what he was saying was inaudible. He was, however, very knowledgeable and the bits we heard were interesting. The main issue is that, by their very nature, these excursions cover a lot of miles so there’s never enough time to spend in the places visited, which is a real pity.

Excellent itinerary and enthusiastic and professional guide (Chardy) and driver (David). Would have liked the chance to ask questions on the coach tour and also learn a bit more about the history of the island - we got lots of interesting BFF info re the geography and flora and fauna etc. Also meal was pretty mediocre which was a bit of a shame but everything else was excellent. Also both Daniela (and also Nizan our Tui Rep in the Riu Palace Hotel have been extremely friendly and helpful.

Det var veldig trangt for beina i minibussen. Knærne buttet i sete foran noe som ikke var behagelig. Radiosambandet mellom bilene var greit men vært enda bedre hvis det hadde blitt koblet mot høytaler i bilen. Men vi hørte tydelig og guiden kom med mye og god informasjon. Turen var flott, men dere bør gi beskjed at de med tendens til bilsyke at de bør la være. Vi har ikke det problemet.

Very disappointed that we paid a significant premium using TUI as one key visit within the trip was a place called Tejeda. The guide told us on the day we wouldn’t be going there due to there being a festival. This was part of the reason for wanting to go. If we had been able to cancel and go with an independent guide company we would have done.

The trip was well planned and helped with the glorious weather. The knowledge of Stephen was outstanding and each area of the island seemed to prompt him for comentry on the area or something relevant and very informative. The stops around the tour were good and well planned, the meal was nice especially the tapas and sangria, the views were outstanding, I would highly recommend for singles or couples, the roads were winding and well driven with occasional challenges. Some great photos.

Unable to travel Wednesday, TUI problem, went Saturday Minibus 30 minutes late arriving, travelled at speed to a rendezvous point with three other minibuses. Courier was in another bus, commentary was through poor quality PA system. Charged in convoy to stops enroute; ours being the fourth bus, had to race to keep up. No ability to stop despite one of our bus being violently sick. Mentioned this to courier at a stop but received platitudes. Lunch was overcooked.

Itse retki hieno ja opas Karen sekä kuski Sergio hoitivat hommansa hienosti. Itse lisäisin retkeen vielä käynnim Las Palmasin vanhassakaupungissa. Ruoka sen sijaan oli ala-arvoista. Kukaan ei voinut kala-annosta syödä. Samoin jälkiruoka huonoa ja kahi haaleaa. Ravintolaa syytä vaihtaa!!

We were unable to visit Tejeda because of a bike race and that was disappointing as it was one of the tour highlights. The views were spectacular and we loved Teror. The visit to the Aloe Vera plantation was also very good. We felt the food at the restaurant was quite disappointing. It was quite a windy road and one of the people on our bus was very sick a number of times. Perhaps that should be mentioned when booking the tour - not recommended for people who suffer from travel sickness maybe.

Late starting due to passengers in wrong location. Not enough time to see and enjoy the towns we visited. Lunch is not required if spending more time in the local towns as we could get lunch there. Food was pretty poor value at restaurant. Not sure the aloe farm was required other than a sales pitch. Trip back extended due to wrong passengers in bus so ended up going to Porto Rico and then doubling back. Do this trip without lunch and farm and it would be better.

Overall we enjoyed this trip and scenic mountain drive. If we were given more guidance and time in Terror, which could improve our experience. The guide only told us the direction and where the WC were. When we came back home and looked online and found we missed the most prettiest streets in Terror.. The lunch was disappointing.

The first half of the tour was “in cloud or rain” so the views and experiences were spoiled; next time we would check the weather forecast before booking. The second half was warm, dry and clear and therefore more enjoyable - especially the Aloe Vera tour. Lunch was very nice too. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly but a little too intense, a few pauses in the commentary would have been appreciated.

The trip set off 30 min late because 2 people failed to notify TUI staff that they were unwell so not attending. The need to do this really should be stressed when booking because it spoiled the trip for other participants. The diversion at a landslide delayed us more so there was less time to spend at the villages etc. The worse thing was the commentary en route was terrible as it was being relayed from the other bus through a radio speaker so most of us couldn't make out what was being said.

Sadly the whale/dolphin trip was spoilt by passengers unruly behaviour causing concern! they refused to stay in seats causing concern, when rushing to one side of boat! This was potentially dangerous! as a catermeran is less stable under the above circumstances! SadlyI would not go on this trip again!

Firstly too much time spent picking up guests - a whole hour! The driver was excellent. The guide was not!! We were in second vehicle with speakers and we could not understand what he was saying due to poor sound quality and a non native English speaker. Hardly any time at designated stops as we were running late. We have had previous experience of this type of trip which was excellent but this one was a waste of money. We would appreciate a refund or voucher to use on another TUI trip.

It was nice to be in a smaller group in a minibus but we were quite squashed. The guide, Stephan. was excellent, so knowledgeable and full of information and we learned so many interesting facts. Our driver was very attentive and knew the roads well but we were not impressed by the quality of the lunch. We had the fish that was almost inedible and the steak did not look any better.

I normally hire a car but on this holiday I couldn't drive following an operation on my back, so we booked the trip to see a good bit of Gran Canarian interior. It was lovely and dramatic. The stops were good, but a bit rushed. Our, driver (Steve), was helpful and friendly. The size of the group was about right. The food provided for lunch was varied and tasty.

Overall, this was a good trip and I enjoyed the day. Astrid was a lovely knowledgeable guide about gran canaria history and Roberto was just the best driver on those mountain roads. However, it took place on three kings day so everything in Teror was shut which was disappointing as this was not mentioned by the guide and I thought they would have known this. The church however was open so this was nice to visit. The weather at the top was awful, raining a lot but this was unavoidable.

The guide , Steve , was very nice and very knowledgeable. He was a very good driver. It was good to find out about the island and its different terrain. The lunch wasn’t great. Inedible steak ( so chewy you couldn’t!) . Potatoes full of garlic that they weren’t enjoyable and raw veg salad with no dressing at all. Stop at aloe Vera shop ok but clearly just a way of getting tourists to try and spend money. Very expensive for what we got.

Det er en nydelig tur opp i fjellene, men vi kom for seint avgårde og fikk altfor liten tid i Teror og Tejeda. Det verste var at vi kjørte i 3 småbiler og vår buss fikk overført guidingen over en bråkete, sprakende og altfor høy radio. Når guiden da snakker nonstop om masse som ikke var relevant for turen, ble turen nesten ødelagt og vi klarte ikke å nyte landskapet som vi ønsket. Endte opp med hodepine. Lunsjen var elendig, så den kan man fint droppe. Mye potet og kaffe uten smak.

- Kart for hvor toalettet er - spesielt første stoppet. Da sa guiden muntlig hvor vi kunne finne public toalett. Hvis han i tillegg hadde hatt et bilde av hvordan vi kunne finne det hadde det vært enklere å vite hvor vi skulle gå. (etter å ha lett en stund, kom heldigvis noen av oss til å søke på Google maps). - Spesifiser hvorfor tiden er så variert - tiden står oppført som 4-8 timer. Kanskje flere vil være med på en tur om de vet hvor lang tid den tar. Kanarisk lunsj er 3 retters middag.

The hotel was beautiful and clean - I didn't know about the upgrade feature which does make it a little bit upper and lower class. The room was spotless but the phone didn't work and there are no drawers - a technician came to the phone but it still didn't work.

Vi var tvungna att ta taxi till hotell aysia sol ( porto rico) från vårt hotell Marina Baywiew. Det var inga andra påstigande i Yasia sol än vi två. Förstod inte varför upphämtningen inte var vid vårt hotell, skulle inte vara någon längre omväg för bussen som var rätt liten. Bus arrived late. We then had to wait to collect guests and also allow another bus to join us. The guide was often moaning about the additional admin he needed to do, whilst still driving and being our guide. Information I didn’t need to know. The guide information was too rehearsed and so after about an hour, I switched off. Too many hours spent on a coach. I specifically asked that question to the TUI rep and was told it wasn’t just staying on a coach. It pretty much was.

In my opinion the first stop was to short 30min only it should have been around 2 hours. The whole experience was only driving around and stopping for 30min. This stops are more likely for cigarettes break for the driver really ?? on the second stop 60% off people waited in the van. So in opinion very badly organised. We were disappointed with the lunchtime meal. I have experienced much better on similar outings in Spain. Several of the guides jokes were outdated and misogynistic. It was a shame that it rained very heavily. I suppose the free time in the towns might have been better supported with maps showing points of interest.

I cant leave a review on the trip because we could not go because my partner became very ill the night before with suspected food poisoning . Let the tui rep know straight away on the morning we were due to go .In future it may be a good idea to pay a small extra charge as an insurance to cover you so you can have a full refund . We lost all the money for the excursion and will definately think twice before booking any trips again with tui.

Very well organised. Pick up right on time. Went right into the mountains and plenty of stops to stretch the legs. Lunch was waiting for us and was excellent with sangria, water , beer all included. Our guide was Annika and so interesting and we had an excellent driver on high twisty roads.

Steve the Swedish guide was very entertaining with his factual and witty commentary. The villages we visited were nice but could have done with another 15 minutes at Teror to see the church and look around the village. The meal we had was good value and a good opportunity to get to know other guests from different hotels on the trip. I feel that we saw everything we wanted to see in the mountains. All in all a good value trip over the whole day.

Det var for kort tid til å utforske Teror, det var kort tid på aloe Vera plantasjen og maten på lunchen var under middels (pose potetmos er ikke noe særlig). Det var ekstremt mye tid i buss ifht tid til å se seg om. Guiding gjennom walkie talkie fra nabo bussen var støyete, og i byene hvor vi forventet guiding ble vi sluppet løs på egenhånd. Så vi visste egentlig ikke hva vi så på. Fint å se seg om på øya, men ville ikke tatt turen igjen.

We really enjoyed this tour of the mountain villages, and beautiful scenery. 10/10. I think this trip could be improved by removing the Aloe Vera stop, it’s not nessessary, It’s cringey and people buy out of embarrassment/or pressure. I also think it is too ambitious to cook for so many people, and that tapas would be a much better option over a meal that we were provided with, or cut the meal out altogether and let people spend time in the villages. 30 minutes per stop was not enough.

We were in the bus with the radios to keep us informed by the guide. Some of the things we were looking out for we had already passed as the other bus was behind us. Would also be good to let people know that the first part of the trip is also collecting other people and meeting up at the meeting point before the trip starts.

Veldig dyktig guide. Pratet tydlig på engelsk og jeg fikk mye info om Gran Canaria og folket som bor der. Veldig dyktig og trygg sjåfør som kjørte minibussen. Det gjorde at jeg følte meg trygg på svingete veier. Trivelig restaurant besøk på turen. Veldig trivelig mann på Aloe Vera plantasjen som virkelig bød på seg selv og forklarte om Aloe Vera planten og hva det kan brukes til. Flotte produkter å få kjøpt. Veldig bra tur.

The tour guide droned on constantly giving in my opinion far too much boring information. He didn’t seem to stop talking the whole time we were driving. He was also a bit curt in particular an elderly gentleman who was with us who hadn’t heard him giving the lunch options. the lunch in the traditional village was Very poor. Steve our driver is to be commended on his knowledge and ability to share it especially bearing in mind his commentary was broadcast to the 2 other minibuses in the convoy. The downside was the time spent at sites, could have been a bit longer but as it was they were a bit rushed. Also, the food stop... a choice of meat with the main but the mash potatoe was more like a puree and vegetables, fit for livestock. But the experience was well worth the effort and just about justified the cost.

Not told when we booked that we would be travelling in a convoy of three, and we only had audio via walkie talkie in our vehicle. It was difficult to follow the guides comments, and impossible to ask the guide questions.The stops at each village was far too short to enable us to enjoy the location. The meal provided was extremely disappointing.We have never complained on any TUI excursions previously, but on this occasion we were extremely disappointed.

The guide was excellent. Amusing and informative. However, the driver of the bus was dreadful. All of the passengers were thrown around inside the vehicle for the whole ride. The trip entailed far too much time on the bus and did not leave enough time to enjoy the stops that were made. In all, during an eight hour trip, only two hours was spent out of the bus. Som sådan en ok tur, men der var for lidt tid til at se noget i byerne. Frokosten var ok men meget industripræget, men hurtig ind og hurtig ud. Selve køreturen var ikke nogen fornøjelse. Vi kørte i den minibus som kørte bagerst og sad i den bagerste ende af bussen. Det føltes som en jagt af den forreste bus og da vejene er MEGET snoede blev man "skubbet" fra side til side, dette gjorde at flere af os var ved at blive køresyge og ør i hovedet. For meget kørsel i forhold til oplevelse.

Guiden var super, berättade hela tiden. Bra vägval, men pga att chauffören körde bussen för fort hela turen så gjorde det att vi blev illamående och stundtals fick blunda för att det gick för fort. Det fanns ingen tid tid njutning av vyerna utan bara fokusera på att överleva. Stresskörning genom vackra byar, där lokalbefolkning tittade efter oss. För lite tid för att promenera i byarna. The trip was very well organised and co-ordinated, travelling in 3 mini buses with a guide travelling in the middle one relaying a commentary over a walkie talkie. This was extremely informative.The tour really does show the difference in the 2 sides of the island with their different terrain and geographical features and there were several short stops along the way to take in scenery, enjoy local ambiance and to take photos. The lunch was a good typical Canarian meal in a family run restaurant

This was an excellent trip. Marco, our driver, while modestly stating that he was ‘just a driver’, gave us so much information about the island. His driving was smooth, safe and competent. There was enough time to have a look about at each stop. I enjoyed the main meal and the staff in the restaurant were attentive. The starters, dessert and coffee of the main meal were nice, but the main course needs a rethink in my opinion. The meats were overcooked - perhaps a casserole would be better.

This Day Tour was really great, as we got to see new areas of interest, with fabulous scenery. Out Tour guide was very friendly and most knowlegable, and our 'mountain' driver very skilled. The only slight disappointment was a very poor quality Lunch, which is most unusual for Tui. However, on balance, a lovely day, thank you.

Excellent guide and information. Driving superb. Food very nice and the aloe farm very good. It would have been nice to have a few more minutes in the beautiful little towns. It would have been nice to have fewer pick ups throughout the island before starting the tour but we realise this is beyond your control and just depends on who books. Overall an excellent experience and great way to see your beautiful island.

This was a really poor experience. Mini bus was late arriving. Over two hours on the mini bus before the first brief stop. Very little time at each stop. Terrible lunch. Guide was dull - no historic information, just spoke about cost of living in Gran Canaria. It was nice to see the island but really most of it is just a barren wasteland. Aloe Vera plantation mildly interesting. Villages visited not enough time to see anything. Viewpoint stop was 5 minutes. Expensive day spent mainly on a bus

The trip had a delay at the start by 40 minutes. It would have been only fair that a representative of TUI be informed at the hotel and passed on the information to me. We were waiting and not knowing if our booking had been cancelled or not. Thankfully, the TUI rep. At the hotel managed to obtain the information and relay to me that there was a delay. Our guide, Steve, was excellent with the information he provided peppered with his dry sense of humour which increased the enjoyment of the day. Only 2 negatives were the quality of the commentary audio in following buses and the food at the lunch stop - tapas great, grilled fish and dessert (basically just whipped cream) less so. But this didn’t detract from the overall experience

I would like to spend more time in Teror and Tejeda. At least an hour in both where you can relax and take in the sights without being rushed. Forget the lunch in Fataga or find a prettier place with better food for guests. That was the disappointing part after all the spectacular vistas we saw

Room was a lot bigger than we thought, plenty space. Balcony overlooking pool and entertainment was a bonus, plus having sunbeds was a fab idea. Cleaned everyday. Food was great, plenty choice, drinks were very good as well. The staff were always smiling, very friendly which makes a big difference. Worked so hard each and everyone of them. Entertainment was really good, Whitney tribute was fantastic. Need aircon inside of entertainment area, some nights to hot it was unbearable unfortunately.

Steve was knowledgable and funny but had BO! Steve had constant issues with the radio cutting out and a weird system where he drove one handed while flicking the radio switch every few seconds! Village stops are too short, lunch was awful - inedible and the restaurant staff rude no wine or tea, the Aloe Vera stop was a rambling overlong sales pitch. Repackage the tour as just the villages with 2 hours in each and cut out the disgusting meal and the farm stop. Overpriced but very interesting.

Steve our guide arrived late amd smelt of slight body odour. We waited 15 minutes for the third bus to arrive at the meet up point. The first stop at Teror was too short, very little time to explore and go to the toilet. Next stop very interesting, Tehuda, again too short to explore and relax. Lunch was awful, no wine tiny beer fish dry chicken rubbery and steak gristly. Dessert not edible no tea offered and waiter/manager got nasty when asked for tea. Cut out the lunch and aloe Vera.

We really enjoyed visiting Teror and Tejeda, the drives were stunning and our guides / drivers were excellent. We felt that the free time in the towns were way to short, we didn't have anytime to look around or explore as you had to be back at the coach in 30 mins. I think the lunch needs to be looked at because personally the food was not great and the time spent there could have been split between the other stops and would have been much more valuable.

When we booked the tour (2 days before) with the rep at our hotel, he told us it was better to go on a Sunday as we could see the market and the church, the reality was we saw neither, the weekend was a religious event so all roads in to the church were closed, this trip was mid sold to us on that basis, the tour guide was apologetic, but this was not his fault, he did a great job.

The rolling commentary by Steve was excellent and it was in a single language making it easier to understand. The information was detailed, interesting and had a good mix of humour. The sites were of 'wow quality. We really enjoyed the communal meal that only an organised trip provides. We would have preferred a little more time than 30mins at each stop. We would have liked a few more major photo opportunities.

Really enjoyed the places we stopped at, Teror, Tejeida and aloe farm. It was unfortunate that a 20 minute detour to collect 2 people made it a slow start, perhaps a taxi for them to reach the meeting point would have been preferable.

The virgin in palm church was fab. Tejeda bril would have liked more tine there. Meal lovely people lovely. Aloe Vera farm great. Guide very helpful& informative. Definitely recommend this trip to anyone. It was fabulous.

We were out for a total of 8 hours. 5 and a half were driving. At the first stop if Teror we had 30 mins. The 2nd stop felt like a part way stop so we weren't travelling for another hour and half. We were at the 2nd stop for 20 mins. Then more driving followed by a stop for 1hr for lunch (which wasn't great but edible). Our next stop was for 30 mins at the alo Vera plantation which was ok but just a shopping stop. Then back to the hotel. save your money and go to mogan which is free

Enjoyed the atmosphere of the TUI hotel. Staff were friendly and worked efficiently. Small thing of hearing the tables and chairs being put out early every morning. The sound of the furniture scraping on the ground woke me up most mornings. The food and choice was very good and chefs were always keen to accommodate. Late breakfast options would have benefitted from also having the option of sausages and beans.

It would have been nicer to get a bit more time in Tejeda, and to get some time to walk around Fataga. The aloe farm visit was just an ad for their products, I would skip that and use the time in the previously mentioned places. Other than this, the tour was awesome!

Just awful from start to finish. It did not include half the things described by the rep. We were in a minibus with no guide. Instead in one of the other vehicles there was a driver who spoke constantly through a walkie talkie tied at the back of the bus by a bit of string. We couldn't understand half of what was said. Driving was way too fast for the roads. People vomited several times and the driver refused to stop. When we did stop for a scenic thing it was in a petrol station. Awful day.

Our vehicle was involved and a minor collision during the trip. It was not the fault of our driver and he handled it well. Overall the day was good, but the forced visit to an Aloe Vera plantation and sales pitch in the afternoon was not appreciated (it was 37 degrees and we had to stand outside being sold to for 20 minutes)

Guide clearly informative but information delivered via walkie talkies in the vehicle and therefore indecipherable as sound quality poor. Many people travel sick due to the twisting roads. Not long enough in Teror, couldn't browse the shops. Food quality at lunch not great, steak and chicken both overcooked and chewy with many plates returned only half eaten. Could be a great trip as views amazing and there is plenty to see, but needs reviewing

We had a walkie talkie in our minibus with a tour guide narrating from the following minibus….. poor sound quality, we couldn’t make out anything the guide was saying. So basically we felt that we were in a stuffy taxi being driven around with mumbling & barely audible description. Sadly feel we wasted our day & our money. Disappointed

1 stop med kirken var rigtig fint og stoppet med aleovera plantagen var godt - de andre medium. Chaufføren var flink, kunne ikke så meget engelsk og kørte lidt hurtigt i bjergene, så det var nemt at blive lidt køresyg. Guiden var god, men har kørte i en anden bil og det var meget svært at høre hvad han sagde i walkien, ja næsten umuligt. Frokosten var ikke særlig god.

The Guide was very knowledgeable and the driver was excellent. However when I booked and paid 248 euros for a guided tour of the island for me, my husband & daughter in a small mini bus, I did not expect our tour guide to hang a walkie talkie in the front and rear of the bus we were in while he drove another people carrier with other passengers, it was hard to hear most of the time and if this was explained before I’d booked we would never have paid so much for what we felt was unacceptable

We had 4 stops overall 2 where little villages and we were only there 45mins which wasn’t long enough. The stop for dinner was about 1 1/2 hrs the food was very good. Then a stop to Aloe Vera plantation which was very interesting

Steve, the tour guide, was amazing. He was funny, professional and very knowledgeable. The stops were great, though getting to spend a bit longer at the 2nd stop would have been better! The lunch options weren’t great, especially as my child is a fussy eater so having the option to order something else (even if I had had to pay additional) would have been good. But on the whole it was a great way to see the island

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative throughout the tour. The driver was very courteous and his standard of driving was such that we never felt unsafe on the switchback roads. The food at the lunch stop was excellent as was the service. I can't think of anything that we didn't like. Would thoroughly recommend the tour to others.

Firstly, the guide, Steve, was outstanding. He was full of information covering so many different areas from the history of the island, it's status as a UNESCO heritage site, flora & fauna, wildlife etc. Everything one would hope for for but rarely get on a 'tourist' excursion. He was personable and had a great sense of humour, all of which added to the experience. The route and stark contrasts on the island were an eye opener, the stops, perhaps a little too short allowed us to see more. Great.

Our guided tour was led by Allen, our driver was Dave. Dave did an excellent job keeping us safe on the mountain roads. Allen was fantastic at talking us through the wildlife and forna as we drove along. Our first stop being Teror which is a beautiful destination, next stop was Tejeda another beautiful destination before heading to our dinner stop, the food served was very good. Final destination was Aloe Vera plantation. The whole day was great thanks to Allan’s commentary and Dave’s driving

Der Ausflug eine herbe Enttäuschung! Der Preis ist absolut überzogen für das, was geboten wurde. Wir hatten kaum Zeit, die wenigen Sehenswürdigkeiten, die überhaupt auf dem Programm standen, in Ruhe zu erkunden. Alles wirkte gehetzt und oberflächlich. Man fühlt sich regelrecht "veräppelt", wenn man so viel Geld für so wenig Gegenwert ausgibt. Dieser Ausflug war absoluter Reinfall. Die genannten Tapas waren ein Witz (6 katoffelchen, 3 Soßen, 1 teller Suppe. 2 Käsescheibchen) für 4 Personen.

Good to see the island away from the tourist spots. Alan, the driver and tour guide was in the bus in front which was okay. I would say his commentary was good and informative, but a little cynical at times. The mini bus went pretty fast which didn’t make for an especially comfortable ride. Lunch was acceptable. If you don’t want to rent a car and take yourself it’s probably a good trip to see Gran Canaria. Can the Aloe Vera stop which is solely a sales pitch and spend a few more minutes

Would have been nice to have more time and more guidance in the towns visited. Aloe stop was entirely a sales pitch with almost 0 learnt or seen about the plant / plantation etc. Alan was a Great guide but it would have been better not over the radio and if each driver spoke - big shout out to Jesus our driver on the day! Meal was lovely, but huge. If you’re a speedy walker and don’t mind a tour via radio it’s a highly recommended trip!

Unfortunately this excursion turned out to be a very different one to the one we thought we had purchased at 85 euros per person. The mini bus we travelled in was very comfortable. The two little villages we visited were very pretty HOWEVER we had only 45 and 35 minutes in each respectively so had no time to view the sights at all. The Tour Guide was shocking - I know more about Gran Canaria's IKEA shops, the Tour Guide's furlough arrangements during COVID etc - he never shut up! Terrible trip.

Our driver/guide Steve was excellent, very knowledgeable with a dry sense of humour. Luckily we travelled on a Sunday and the roads were very quiet so the travel was very smooth and allowed us extra time at each stop. It is a long drive during the day but the stunning views made it worth while. Lunch was very palatable and the Aloe Vera stop was very interesting. Overall a very good experience.

Overall the excursion was good,Alan our driver was brilliant,made us welcome on pick up,he was knowledgeable,funny and enjoyable to be with throughout the whole day,a great asset to this excursion,the scenic views on this trip are in one word spectacular,we've taken some memorable photos from this day.The only down side to this day was the meal,my wife is a coealic,which means she can only eat gluten free food,they had plenty of time to arrange something far more fitting for her to eat.

The only real issue was the shortage of time at the first 2 stops. Personally I would forsake the time at the aloe vera farm for extra time in the villages. The lunch stop was lovely and the guide was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately there was no microphone in the vehicle so it was hard to pick everything up.

A disappointing day. The bus used was small and cramped. We were picked up last when only the back 2 seats were available. The driver lurched round all the bends and roundabouts at speed resulting in motion sickness. This was extereme and we had to abandon the trip at the first stop, then paying for an expensive taxi back to the hotel. The tour guide was helpful but we could not continue as we were feeling so sick. People booking this trip should be warned. Overall, very dissapointed.

The scenery was fantastic, but the two villages we stopped in was not long enough, we didn't have time to do anything. The stop off for lunch was needed, but food not brilliant and could have done with being there less. Overall though it was lovely.

The guide was great, the places we visited were interesting but maybe the time allowed in them was too short. The meal was OK But the fish was overcooked. The best part was the size of the group - 19 - which gave you a chance to meet and talk to people. Overall it gave you a good impression of the different lifestyles of people on the island, not to mention the geology and weather.

Enjoyed the places we visited, also liked the smaller vehicle format. Alan the guide was very knowledgeable and informative. The drivers took good care of us including helping those less mobile in and out of the minivan. The typical lunch was excellent. The only negative was the time we spent picking up and dropping off at the beginning and end of the experience.

We had a fantastic day out, there were only 9 of us in the mini bus, however i think it would of been better to have had a slightly bigger minibus, (12 seater) because two people were up close and personal in the front. Steady day out, no rushing and the guide obviously knew his subject.

I booked the trip for myself, daughter and 2 grandsons to see and learn more about the island.The two villages we visited were lovely and the scenery up in the mountains was amazing, and we had a delicious lunch. However there were times when the commentary was disappointing. especially to people of a high level of education. We didn't appreciate his jokes about his wife's snoring etc. and he did seem to be playing up to the other people travelling in his minibus,

The ongoing commentary by Steve was great, the driver David was really good, the scenery and tour was excellent. Only slight criticism the time spent on the coach was excessive and the stops too short to really see the place where we stopped. The stop at the Aloe Vera factory was not necessary...just a sales pitch...and the time could be better spent.

The driver was very heavy with the brakes sharply appling them and then releasing we all felt sick even one lady got a bag out ready for her sickness. We felt not enough time at each venue the meal at the end was very dry as if it had been cooked well before we arrived, I could not eat the fish as it was so tough my wife had the chicken and again it was dry, the best thing was arriving back to the hotel. Would not recommend this trip

The RIU Palace Maspalomas is a beautiful hotel, The daily entertainment was good with different genre each night. The food was always plentiful and varied. The staff worked hard but always had a smile on their faces.

Retki oli muuten hyvä, mutta lounaspaikan ruoka oli suuri pettymys. Söin kala-aterian, josta tulin huonovointiseksi, oli pakko jättää osin syömättä. Yksi retken käyntikohteista ei toteutunut edeltävän päivän myrskyn takia. Mutta kävimme korvaavassa kohteessa, joka oli hyvä asia. Opas nimeltään Steve ??????Minibussin kuljettaja oli palvelualtis ja taitava. Retki mielestäni liian hintava.

Tour guide Alan was so good, he kept up a running commentary throughout that was friendly, knowledgeable and humorous - excellent 10/10. Driver was friendly , felt very safe with him on some very high narrow roads. Lunch was adequate and tasty. Picturesque villages, would have liked more time at them to explore and for refreshments.

A great well organised day out.
We travelled in a convoy of three vehicles with Alan the tour guide in the front vehicle relaying all information via radio. The communication worked really well. Alan was very knowledgeable and added a little humour to the day. A good lunch stop also.

Great day out. There is lots of driving along very tight, winding roads, but our driver and guide Alan kept us entertained with his knowledge of the area. A real great way of seeing more of Gran Canaria. Highly recommend.

Very much liked the tour guide's commentary - Steve - and the stops at the little towns we passed through. If there is anything I would change it would be to spend a bit less time at the Aloe Vera place and a bit longer at Teror which was so pretty and we didn't really have time to look around.

It was a good trip and we enjoyed the tour, however the communication on route was poor because there were 5 x 8 seater minibuses following each other and the guide was on the middle bus sharing his knowledge via a walkie talky on each bus, which at times was difficult to hear.

The Gran Canaria tour was an experience to see some of the island that we would not ordinarily see. Our driver Marco was very professional, there were no issues at all with his driving and we felt safe at all times. Stevie the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the places visited and gave an informative commentary throughout the tour.

Was told we would be in a mini bus upto 15 max with a guide. We were picked up in a 9 seater mini van few diverts due to carnival. Disappointing for the day was there was 5 mini vans totalling 38 people and 1 guide who was on a radio for the other 4 vans, difficult to understand was noisey radio and it did not help my tinnitus. Would appreciate feedback

Hei, majoituksen löytyminen(Las Pitas) tulopäivän iltana oli haastavaa pimeyden johdosta (huoneiston numerot ja viitoitukset) Respan antama kartta oli oikein, mutta ensi kertalaisena alueen hahmottaminen tuntui vaikealta. Majoitus alueella olisi suotavaa olla Illalla hiljaisuus (kellonaika), illanvietosta palavien kova ääninen metelöinti kuului selvästi sisälle. Aamiainen kattava ja runsas, positiivista oli hiljainen alue niille jotka halusivat syödä omassa rauhassa. Siisteydestä iso plussa.

Sjåfør skjønte bare spansk, og kjørte en time før turen kunne starte. Guide snakket utydelig engelsk via walkietalkie med elendig lyd. Klarte å oppfatte 20%. Stoppet i et par små byer uten guide. Fikk bare opplyst om hvor toalettene var. Lunch var under all kritikk. 5 erter og to poteter til forrett. Gammel frossen-fisk til hovedrett m/kinakål og potetmos. Smakte ikke bra. Turen var også alt for lang. 8 timer i buss er alt for lenge. Dette var alt for dårlig i forhold til prisen.

Alan is an absolute star, his knowledge about the areas is second to none and very entertaining. He and his drivers make the whole experience outstanding, it is so wonderful to see the island away from the tourist areas. Well worth the money.

Saarikierroksen paras anti olivat huikeat maisemat. Turvallinen kyyti, loistava kuski. Englanninkielinen opas vahvalla lontoon murteella varustettuna oli hieman raskas kuunnella ja jäin kaipaamaan muuta tietoa saaresta, uskonto, talous, kulttuuri, siirtolaisuus, vanhat perinteet, kasvillisuus esim. Tunsimme, että pysähdyspaikalla jäimme hieman oman onnemme nojaan. Liian lyhyet pysähdykset Terorissa ja Tejedassa, suurin osa aikaa meni wc:n hakuun eikä ehtinyt tutustua kyliin ja niiden palveluihin

Guide was brilliant, his information was varied and excellent. It was really useful. Lunch was a little late - it would have broken up the day better if it was about an hour earlier. All the stops were excellent, though a bit short as there wasn’t time to get a coffee as walk.

Enjoyed: Vistas, seeing parts of the island you would otherwise not get to see and being able to mix with other visitors to the island. Disliked: Not enough time at the two towns visited (not enough time to wonder and have a coffee, you had to choose). Aloe Farm stop was 100% a sales pitch. Would have expected more stops, not passing all the viewing points. Driver of our van was not a guide, 4 of the 5 vans had radio commentary from guide (offensive comments regarding women, tourists & LGBT).

God og intens dag. Guiden var rigtig god til at fortælle under turen. Maden var ikke noget særligt, men sjovt at smage hvad lokal middag byder på. Jeg kunne godt ha brugt et par fotostops mere. Der var blot 1 udover stoppene i byerne.
