What we expect

Have you ever wanted to visit the famous Scottish Highlands? This one-day tour from Edinburgh takes you to some of the most beautiful sites of the Western Highlands, including Loch Lomond, Loch Awe, Kilchurn Castle, Stirling Castle and Doune Castle.

As you leave Edinburgh, you'll head west, passing the historic and imposing Stirling Castle, high on its volcanic rock and going on to Doune Castle (you might know it from the famous movie ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail’).

What to remember

Not suitable for:

children under 4 years old cannot participate in this tour

Know in advance:

please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour

Inveraray Castle is open to visitors from Thursday to Monday, from 1 April to 31 October

the castles included as stops on tour are: Doune Castle, Inverary Castle and Kilchurn Castle

Stirling Castle is not included as a stop, as you will only pass it on the route

on dates when castles are closed, the tour operator will compensate with more time spent at other castles, and if there are any irregular closures of attractions, they will directly contact you and let you know

please bring warm and/or waterproof clothing, wear comfortable walking shoes and take sun-block or a hat for sunny days

J'ai adoré, beaucoup de bus mais c'était vraiment très beau. notre chauffeur-guide très sympathique. Mon seul problème est que je ne parle pas anglais alors j'ai raté ses explications, tant pis pour moi.
