The tour begins by visiting the Santo Domingo Convent that was built on the Inca temple of Coricancha, one of the most important places dedicated to cult worship. Ancient chronicles say that its walls were covered in gold and filled with gilded representations of nature. Then, visit the Cathedral, the most imposing monument in the main square.
