We hadden deze reis geboekt met een Nederlandstalige gids. De dag nadien werden we verwittigd dat deze excursie in het Engels zou doorgaan. We hadden het bericht te laat gelezen en konden deze niet meer verplaatsen. Er was te weinig tijd voorzien in Frigiliana ( 1 uur voor bezichtigen van het dorp) , daarna nog een wijntje en terug naar de bus. Weinig ontspanning voorzien.

The title is a bit deceptive, It may lead you to thinking that you will be visiting 3 towns but the first on the title is the area. The guide was knowledgeable. Both Frigliana and Nerja are beautiful but there was a lot of coaches as you would expect. A map of Frigliana would be helpful.

Bus was / hour late in picking us up. We had to go back to the hotel and ask the rep to find out what was going on. 2 hours in Nerja wasn’t long enough as we had to get lunch which was very busy so little time to do anything else. I did enjoy the 2 visits we had and always enjoy TUI excursions

Beides sind sehr schöne Orte, alles freundliche Menschen, sehr sauber überall und auch landschaftlich über die gesamte Fahrt sehr interessant. Leider war innerhalb unseres 7 tägigen Aufenthalts keine deutsche Führung möglich, aber Englisch war auch ok.

Because i have reduced mobility, Jose the guide arranged for us to go in a tuk tuk up all the back streets. It cost 5 euros each but was well worth the money.

The places you recommend are beautiful no doubt about it, however the rep and guide both said there was a slight incline, which I should manage. So I thought in good faith I would , when we got there I was faced with a very steep hill, which I eventually managed, only to discover I was not at the top and there was a lot more climbing uphill to go. When we mentioned this to the rep in order to save others with mobility problems from making the same mistake she said she had told us about a train

TUI guide was excellent. The. Guide Fred was friendly and very knowledgeable. Two languages use which was good. He looked after all of us on and off the bus.The coach was comfortable with air con. There was enough free time at the two places. The coach driver was excellent always on the side of cautious, which made us very safe. Would recommend this excursion.

The day was excellent but could the guide stop saying "my dear people" all the time. I that that it's probably a translation from his own language but it becomes slightly irritating. A small quible but this is my second time doing it. My daughters were with me this time and without saying anything to them they thought the same. Guys, ladies and gentlemen, etc. might be preferable but otherwise excellent.

You always seem to be on a tight schedule probably because so much time is spent picking up and dropping off at various hotels. It would also help if the TUI reps were more informative regards the place's you visit l asked if Fragilliana required much steep walking l was told jump on a tuck tuck that's ok if you have time to queue for 45 mins, so with limited stop over time l was unable to fully appreciate

Heel aangename gids. Alice gaf ook interessante weetjes over de geschiedenis, bepaalde gewoontes, de ontwikkeling vd streek. Absoluut te appreciëren.

. Men had ons met zekerheid gezegd dat de gids Nederlandstalig was. Bij aankomst van de bus aan het hotel zei de gids dat er een wijziging gebeurd was en dus alles in het Engels zou zijn. Op de gids (Alice) niks aan te merken. Super vriendelijk. De excursie vonden we heel duur voor wat het was. Te weinig tijd om Nerja te verkennen. Wij hopen op een compensatie van Tui omdat we weinig begrepen hebben van de Engelse uitleg op de bus, dus veel geld betaald, jammer

Jose our guide was very good, it was nice to visit two places we had not been to before. We were fortunate with the weather considering how it's been lately. One criticism would be the public toilets by the coach stop in Friglianna was in need of toilet paper , soap , paper towels or a hand dryer and locking ability on the cubicles.

The coach driver was friendly and engaged customers as they entered and as they left. The tour guide was excellent. He gave lots of interesting information and also was entertaining and funny in the way he delivered the narrative which kept the attention of his audience. We enjoyed walking around both villages and enjoyed the trip overall. We would recommend this trip.

Liked the village very pretty. Loved Nerja with the unique shops. Although Frigiliana was beautifull. We think more should have been noted about anyone with walking difficulties should have been warned about the steps especially whilst raining.

Very difficult to find where bus was located after Balcon d’ Europe visit . Had to enlist help from a local person . Couldn’t hear the guide on the tour bus , unless seated very close . The guide was very friendly and pleasant . When on bus friend and I discovered a payment for 3 more people had been taken from a/c . Having to wait several days for refund !

There is too much time spent collecting and returning guests to different hotels. There is approximately the same time spent sitting on the coach as is spent in the resort.

Good informative guide who was friendly and ready to answer any questions we had. Comfortable, punctual coach. Beautiful little town . Nerja very bustling but lots to see. A good day trip to see a different part of the area. Only downside was the bus was full but people weren’t able to sit together if they were on the last pickup which was a shame as it was a longish journey. I think this should be made clear when booking that you may have to sit separately.

Our guide was brilliant - she was so knowledgeable. We had never been to either and we wanted to see this area for ourselves in case we wanted to stay there. Frigiliana was absolutely beautiful and well worth the visit. Nerja was equally as good and we had a lovely lunch there. Now know enough if we wanted to stay there.

Nous avons apprécié la visite mais les excursions ne sont jamais proposées en français et c'est déplorable. Notre guide très sympa a donné quelques explications en français quand elle s'est aperçue qu'il y avait des francophones dans le car, elle n'était pas au courant bien que parlant parfaitement le français. Par contre ,la déléguée à l'hôtel n'était pas sympa du tout et ne connaît pas grand chose de la région. Je pense que nous ferons les excursions avec une agence locale la prochaine fois.

It was a very full day and the destinations were good. The guide was good but listening to everything five times to cater for five different languages was exhausting and spoiled our enjoyment of the drive. It seemed a very old fashioned approach! Why not just offer an app with alternative languages and numbered points as in any modern art gallery? Also, the restaurant meal in Antequera was horrible and a huge waste of time and money. We would have preferred to find our own restaurant.

We enjoyed the trip once we reached the destination of both places but it was a bit of a nightmare having to go though all the traffic, traffic lights, sleeping policemen and pick ups and the time to get there. This opinion was also shared with other travellers on the same trip.

Because the bus was full and there were a lot of pick ups along the way the whole trip was rushed. We hardly had any time in both locations. Better if it had been more hours.

As a concept visits to Nerja and Frigiliana sounds good. But in practice a half day excursion left too little time in each resort to enjoy it. We had 1 hour in Frigiliana and 1.5 hours in Nerja. But when you have a timescale to get back to the transport , it is far too little to enjoy. Perhaps a half day to just one of the resorts would be better enjoyed

Veel te weinig tijd om de stadjes te verkennen. Kleine uitleg van de gids en dan moesten we alles zelf uitzoeken. Frigiliana zijn veel kleine straatjes en daar zou een stadsplannetje wel handig geweest zijn. We vonden de bar niet meer waar we een glaasje wijn kregen. Na lang zoeken waren we maar net op tijd om nog een wijntje te drinken en naar de bus te rennen.

Not enough time to explore in each location. Spent more time on route than you got to see each area. Picked up at hotel at 10am, dropped off back at hotel for 3.15pm. The tour guide was informative and very pleasant however whilst both the locations where beautiful 50 minutes free time in Frigilianna and 1hr 30mins in Nerja very very limited, not enough time to explore either area.

Leuk: de leuke en vriendelijke gids, de plaatsen zijn de moeite waard om te zien Niet leuk: 1,5u Frigiliana bekijken is wel errug kort, daarna 2u Nerja. Eigenlijk excursie tijd is veel te kort. Wel prettig dat we aan de deur van het hotel weer zijn afgezet!! Advies: Misschien beter 1 van deze dorpjes per keer rustig bekijken en niet 2 dorpjes op 1 dag.

A shame to spend longer on the journey there than actually at the first stop. Needs longer at both stops, at least 30-60 minutes more. Fabulous guide, Fred was very welcoming and informative throughout. Good driver. Overall happy, just more time to explore (and this would represent better value)

Too much time on the bus and not enough time in Nerja. Sometimes it's just nice to take in the scenery without having a commentary about the area and it's history. Less talking can be helpful, especially as you hear it in 3/4 languages!

We were in a small group and our guide was excellent, and engaging. He had a very good understanding of history and classical literature so great at setting the context when en route to our destinations. Once there he recommended routes and areas to explore which particularly helpful for those which were less mobile.

Trip was ok but nothing outstanding. Guide was ok. 2 guests on the trip didn’t turn up for the return coach, driver/guide waited over 40 minutes to then have to go to the other side of Nerja to pick them up. Back in the day there would have been a small wait then left them behind. Both flights were delayed massively by people not turning up.. all TUI do now is wait for stupid people and inconvenience those who have actually got their act together!!!

We did enjoy the place. But the bus was 30min late and when the guide came he did say he notified the TUI staff yesterday But no one on the bus had a message When we arrived at Nerja the was a massive festival which we had people everywhere the older members where all scared that they was lost. But clinger to me and my husband because we was tall. I thing the guide should have done his homework. And maybe entered the place differently. And also there was so many laugages on the bus

We had an enjoyable day. Frigliana was stunning - a short, but sweet visit to a village in the Mountains. Nerja was also lovely, but our time in this resort felt rushed and other than a visit to the famous balcony and a little light lunch, we saw nothing of the town. This visit would have benefitted from an additional hour.

Downside - despite the destination being an hour away from our hotel, it took an hour just to pick up from other hotels. and then getting there. So in total 2 hours on the coach there for 45 mins in Frigiliana and 1.5 hours in Nerja and 2 hours back. As a poor traveller I found this difficult. Also there was not long enough in either place to sight see and/or eat. Upside - our amiable tour guide was extremely proficient in languages. Having to translate everything into English, French, Dutch and German must have been very demanding and tiring. However he gave us lots of interesting information on the way there but little on the way back. Maybe there could have been an opportunity to ask questions, or tell us a bit about other excursions we might like to try. He also made very sure that we had our bearings and knew how to get back to the coach, which was reassuring. We got to see a very beautiful old village up in the hills, well worth a visit on its own and also visit Nerja that we had heard so much about. We really would have liked a bit more time to thoroughly enjoy the delights of these 2 places.

The tour guide Sonja was very bubbly and had a wonderful personality which made the experience so much more personal. The trip offered you the chance to walk through the streets of Nerja and Frigiliana and try out the local cuisine, do some shopping and see some gorgeous views of the Costa del Sol. The only negative for me was that we did not have much time at all to see these places. We only had one hour to explore Frigiliana and two hours for Nerja. This was a disappointment as Nerja has such an abundance of things to see and do which we, unfortunately, didn't get the opportunity to experience. Despite this, I would still recommend the trip as an opportunity to take some fantastic photos and get a flavour of life in the Costa del Sol.

Just getting out of the hotel on a coach trip was enjoyable. Sadly the rain didn't help. Would be nice if we received a sandwich or something when arriving at the village for the that price. Guide was funny.

The first town we went to everything was closed so may be go a little later when the shops or cafes are open. Nerja was great. Lovely shops. Great rep and driver. Well organised. Excellent price.
