What to remember

Know in advance:

Children between 5-7 years old are also recommended to be in a booster seat for their safety. Children below 8 years old are required to travel in a child safety car seat
Tours operate in all weather conditions
A good fitness level is recommended, however tours are suitable for people of all ages and average fitness. The scenic walks are short and optional. Please let your guide know during check in if you have any fitness concerns.
You must be able to climb and descend stairs and walk on unpaved or uneven terrain
Given the nature of our Māori kai (cuisine), it is not possible to cater to all dietary needs. While gluten-free requirements can be accommodated, there is not a coeliac approved kitchen. Vegetarian dietary requests can be catered, however vegan requirements can not be catered

Bring plenty of warm clothing. The village temperature drops markedly in the evening, bone-chilling icy. Please also bring a jersey or coat if it is cold
Bring a camera or a phone with camera capability, as this is the perfect place to get some great experiences photos
